You guys know the amount of coins I'm going to sell at $30k? It's 0.0BTC! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Why exactly $45k? Are you suggesting we'll never reach $50k? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I am amused that we have made a new ATH of $29,700 and no one seems to have noticed. Including myself.
Maybe we're out of Champagne, haha! 29990. If I'd celebrate every ATH we've reached lately, I'd be drunk 24/7! And my local liquor store would run out of Moet!

Longer fight at $30k.... this mark seems to be mucho mucho importante for bears... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I think there are a few people that now have made serious $ or should I say serious ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs2.coinmarketcap.com%2Fstatic%2Fimg%2Fcoins%2F64x64%2F1.png&t=663&c=p0laP4MxsQeX7Q) Maybe 100+ coins They may have decided to back off on posting like mad. I think there are some in the 10-50 coin in holdings that now are Maybe I should shut up as my 290k to 1450k could get me hurt. So posters with 0.5-10 coins may still be posting a lot. As they really need BTC to move to 100k or more before they think they have decent money. The thing is that "decent money" is very subjective. And while somebody's goal is $1m there are peeps who have that amount in fiat and its a not big deal for them. So they're just waiting until their 50 coins will cost say $25m... that would be a life-changing money for them...

wow, elwar made it to one of the most reputable german newspapers! (only in german) https://www.sueddeutsche.de/leben/bitcoin-peter-thiel-libertaer-1.5161423here is a quote: ...
... you are the man, elwar! the entire article is way more friendly/neutral than some of the reactions in bitcointalk. i am impressed. ms satoshi story is also covered. Elwar surely has some HUGE balls! He's sort of a public figure and everybody knows where he lives etc... frankly, don't want to sound cynical but I'm surprised he's still alive and well and nobody has tried to extort his coins yet ![Lips sealed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/lipsrsealed.gif) So seems like many WO-ers overestimate the importance of opsec. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Or maybe not...

^ looks like an IBM XT (with 8086 or 8088) with removed or photoshopped logo. Good old times and burnt in monitors...
EDIT: 5.25" 360KB (iirc) Floppy disks were standard. You could cut/punch out the write-enable tab at the other side and turn em around (vertical flip) and use em double-sided. Just like the old 8" dinosaurs, but a little more handy and soo above punch cards and tape reels back then.
I had a very similar-looking Siemens Nixdorf XT 088 with a monochrome monitor (black and amber?orange?) and a dot matrix printer ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) these floppies had to be handled very carefully and didn't last long anyway ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Good morning Bitcoinland and Happy Ecstatic New Year.
Another day, another ATH (29700 Stamp), another micro-correction... currently $29352USD/$37340CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
$30k later today?
Go Bitcoin go.
I have a gut feeling we haven't run out of ATHs for today... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I believe this is it!!!
Expecting 100k this year for btc
We will reach $100k by August 2021 latest. Then a blowoff top in November-December 2021 (could be anything between $200k-$450k). #SOMA #dyor ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

we're heading to reach $30K, personally I'm so much excited. we all hope there no dumps however, I have no clue. It might not happen at all. with so much momentum, BTC might keep climbing.
I expected a dump after hitting $20k, $25k and so on but it hasn't come yet. But there will be one for sure. This can't continue like this. Institutional investors have strong hands. Get used to it. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

fuck this Covid news, i hope 2021 will be Covid (news) free
Sorry, but it's here to stay. I ain't happy about it either. One day it will degrade to a common cold through mutation. Years from now. So it will be all good at some point in the midterm future. I didn't mention EMP, because i didn't know if it's even possible without nucular materials. Once i read about DIY building an EMP from a microwave, but i thought that was a hoax. Also, afaik EMP spread spherical, so you would take out your own electric circuits as well. Certainly have to dig into that topic a little deeper.
https://hackaday.com/2011/03/21/herf-gun-zaps-more-than-your-dinner/Yeah, this one. Didn't try it out (yet), but i think it's the baby version of a nucular EMP. I guess the virus will be defeated by a vaccine first because herd immunity will be reached... it will then disappear as SARS or MERS...

It should be the other way round actually... his girlfriend is 50k but he ( BTC) got distracted by a correction for just a moment... ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Ok, some New Year wishes in case I won't manage to do it later: first, I wish all nocoiners to become bitcoiners in 2021! It's never late to start accumulating (stacking sats) and slow down the process of getting poor... I wish all hodlers to HODL all the way up to the blowoff top and then depending on your financial situation and long-term targets either keep on HODling through the next bear market on to the future halvings and beyond and become zillionaires or sell a fraction of your stash to ensure a comfortable life and happy retirement. Remember: don't sell too early! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) 2021 will be great, the greatest year in BTC history so far! Happy New Year WOers!
