need some hopium...

No news at all - no hopium, no FUD yet we're going down.  Sad

Get ready for some good dip. 45k and I am in for more than my daily 50 dollar buy.

Not sure if we're going to dive that low... $45k doesn't seem too close atm

Luckily, I'm not addicted to crypto at all.

I might have a mild dependence on bitcoin, though...

Bro, what is life without bitcoin….

Wait... there IS LIFE without Bitcoin? Or life AFTER Bitcoin like in mindrust's case?  Grin

Haha funny vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceR1dGuplfo has it been posted before? Also, would be nice to see part 2 in 2022.  Grin

Observing $51,057 & hopeful of a continuation of the bull run. I know I sold 25% (after so many years hodling) but nothing would make me happier than seeing us break out to the upside & see new ath’s in 2022. I feel like we’re at a bit of a crossroads at the moment. As JJG says, this feels like no mans land. We’re either going to pump massively or the bull run is over & we go below $30,000.

I’m well prepared for either direction but much prefer up. I just don’t think we’re going to consolidate in this current price range for long. It’ll be a volatile move in either direction soon.

Nice lil pump underway. $51400  Cool

You honestly install an app for a dildo  Huh
People seem to get more stupid than i thought, but in the end i think Einstein was correct with his assumption that the only thing bigger then the universe is the stupidity of mankind  Grin

Are these actual "hacks"? Or is this just a user clicking "Confirm Transaction" without paying attention to what it's asking?

You mean like a dildo actually requiring btc for it to work? Like pay 0.0001 and I will turn on? Pay 0.0002 for extra pleasure? And 1BTC or I'll upload pics of you using me online?  Grin

OK.  What is going on?  the mempool is HAMMERED right now according to my little copy of mempool.space.  Is something wrong with my node?

Nope... seems like this is really like that.

Something is going on... what is it?  Someone is spamming the chain, or... or...  Why ALL OF A SUDDEN a huge pile of 2sat/vB transactions?  If you were REALLY trying to spam it you would do 1sat right?

The other weird part is, right now you'd just need to do a fee of 4 sats and you are in the next block...

This is odd!

Yepp, I'm waiting for a couple of transactions to confirm. One incoming transaction arrived earlier today and got confirmed quickly (the fee was 3sat/b) the other is still unconfirmed (40mb from tip!). The fee for this transaction is 1sat/b. So yeah something is definitely is not ok with the mempool.  Cool

Get ready for +$200K next year!

Current situation on Wall Street Market Cycle......

New phase called "Belief-Denial" located just above "Optimism" and below "Belief"

I am predicting next blow-off top near May 2022. Since it didn't happen already this year.

Same thoughts here: Late Q1 - early Q2 we're going parabolic!  Cool

This is the big problem with electric cars: Once the powertrain warranty is out, the value of the car is pretty much zero. Gas engines can go 200k miles and can be fixed without a full replacement.

I remember in 2005 the roads were full of Gen 1 Priuses. Then they started to just disappear, and now I doubt anyone has seem one in years. Why? Battery pack blowing out and while you can swap it for a couple of thousand, most people just junked em.

It's a problem.

Not to defend Tesla here - horrible build quality and Musk is a smug asshole - but their batteries can last 200k-300k, I've seen a quite a few with that mileage. And Model S is supposedly a luxury car that can do 0-60 in like 4 seconds, so that $22k should be compared to maybe M5 or E63 engine replacement? Plus there are battery repair options available, just not in Finland apparently.

Anyway, we're at peak dinosaur juice technology, and electric stuff will only get better.

Speaking about battery repair: I know a guy who's doing battery repairs and according to him in most cases it's not necessary to replace the entire battery pack. What they do is test all batteries inside a battery pack and find the faulty ones. Then they replace the faulty batteries with some used ones so that voltage is approx the same. Such repairs are quite cheap if compared to battery pack replacement and the batteries perform really well too.

The story is 100% real. But the person who posted it is a well-known anti-vaxxer and she isn't/wasn't familiar to this poor lady. She mentioned the wrong age etc..  besides the lady in this picture is now alive and well. Unlike many anti-vaxxers who died because of their stupidity...

THE POINT IS, THE WOMAN HAD THE REACTION TO THE VACCINE YOU DUMBASS. I never said that she died.

It doesn't matter who else linked to or framed the story.

Really doesn't matter? Really? You're not checking your sources? A lie is a lie. If I don't know someone I won't post on twitter or reddit look my pal did this or that happened to him... would you?

There's clearly something wrong with you dude. Something bad happened in your life? Lost your job because of covid? Can't visit hookers because you're not vaccinated? What's your problem? You start to remind me of another anti-vaxxer here, Craptotourist. Poor guy started to behave weirdly, outbursts of anger, attacking people etc. turned from a decent coiner, hodler to a complete nutjob. And then he disappeared...

P.S. And yes vaccines are NOT 100% safe. Nobody promised you that. Grow up.
1713  Other / Off-topic / Re: [WO/Hat-Gang Only - MODERATED] The fucking COVID vax thread (No hat? Fuck off!) on: December 21, 2021, 06:55:27 PM
EXACTLY! And such a coincidence: most anti-vaxxers are operating with fake facts and stats. Remember that pic you posted in reply to Alcohodl's post regarding his family member dying of covid? It's fake you know it?

I took you off /ignore just to reply to your stupidity.

Even 2 minutes of internet searching would have shown you that it was a real story:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9496075/Mothers-legs-erupt-horrifying-rash-blisters-getting-AstraZenecas-Covid-vaccine.html

Quote
In an attempt to work out what triggered the rash, medics also carried out tests for HIV, herpes and other skin conditions — but the results all came back negative.

Doctors eventually decided the vaccine caused her rare reaction after carrying out two biopsies, the Scottish newspaper reported.

Ms Beuckmann was then given steroids to calm her immune system down and stop the reaction. She said the drugs — which weren't named — are 'helping'.

But I guess that clowns like you just calling it 'fake news' makes it so?

Back to /ignore you go, twit

The story is 100% real. But the person who posted it is a well-known anti-vaxxer and she isn't/wasn't familiar to this poor lady. She mentioned the wrong age etc..  besides the lady in this picture is now alive and well. Unlike many anti-vaxxers who died because of their stupidity...

Facts + data + stats + clear observations == truth

False claims/beliefs + propaganda + wishful thinking == lies

EXACTLY! And such a coincidence: most anti-vaxxers are operating with fake facts and stats. Remember that pic you posted in reply to Alcohodl's post regarding his family member dying of covid? It's fake you know it? Like many other similar pics.

Also the vaccine casualty stats posted by marcus of augustus are completely and totally fake! One death in 10000 vaccinated? What kind of BS is that? I know many countries with population of millions with 0 vaccine deaths!  Grin

That's EXACTLY the problem, and it's a massive problem. Journalists, lawyers, historians, even priests, have suddenly become medical experts and are publishing articles discrediting scientific work, pushing their own agendas and advising the masses on what to do and not do in health matters. And, sadly, many people buy into this misinformation, risking their lives and the lives of their families. One such example is Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a conspiracy theorist and anti-vaccine advocate.

On a related note, earlier today I found out that the person who died of COVID-19, of whom I posted a couple of days ago, was under the spiritual guidance of a priest in his congregation, who advised him not to get vaccinated because vaccines are evil and against God's will. A life wasted due to some religious, doctrinal influence by a priest. I respect his religious choice, but can't help but feel deeply saddened and depressed that this was the advice he was given, and accepted, especially when the official recommendation of the Head of Church is to follow the medical experts' advice and get vaccinated.

True, many priests are anti-vaxxers. As well as... doctors... I was surprised but it's true. People who should trust science and protect science are backstabbing it. I've heard at least a handful of stories about doctors advising their patients not to vaccinate.  Sad
1715  Other / Off-topic / Re: [WO/Hat-Gang Only - MODERATED] The fucking COVID vax thread (No hat? Fuck off!) on: December 21, 2021, 06:11:05 PM

For now I remain pro-vaxxer as well as pro-choice.

That's the way.
Everybody else could also be anti-vaxxer as well as pro-choice.

That's just it, anti-vaxxers ARE pro-choice. We are just defending ourselves and our personal decisions. We don't give fuck what others do with their body and health, and we certainly aren't advocating or pushing for what others should or shouldn't do. Leave us alone, and let us be.

It's the fanatical pro-vaxxers out there that are on the attack. They want to plead with, belittle, mock, patronize, and condescend anyone who chooses not to get the vaccine. They want to push for mandates, to force *everyone* to take the vaccines, and to carry around vaccine papers to access places or privileges. They want to vaccinate their toddlers and children, and applaud when others do so as well. They applaud when people lose their jobs over refusing to get vaccinated. And they want everyone to continue wearing masks, basically forever. Supposedly for the "greater good". With absolutely no data or evidence to prove the efficacy of the vaccines. None. And they seem totally ok with constant lockdowns, and losing their civil liberties and freedoms day by day. They literally don't care about that!

The fanatical ones are anti-choice and anti-freedom for sure. (notice I said "the fanatical ones", it doesn't apply to all in favor of the vaccines)

It's been 2 fucking years now this shit has been going on. TWO fucking years! And here we are STILL fighting about it. This all ends when people stop complying with all these draconian policies and go about their lives. This all ends when people leave each other the fuck alone to make their own personal health choices, and to respect each others rights. Everyone.

Personal decisions? During a pandemic there can be no freedom of choice. Reminds me of this:

Avoiding vaccination = helping spread the virus, giving it time to mutate and transform etc. So the reason we still haven't stopped this virus is in fact you and your anti-vaxxer comrades.

It's hard to believe it but pandemics can last a very long time. Google the plague or Spanish flu. What's so surprising about it? Why are you so stressed?  Grin

Just Perfect…

Well on a side note I don’t own any LTC… but I do think LTC should be in list of 2021, better than many other shits, not sure what exactly happened to it.

Not owning LTC is quite simply a good thing, because it's now ranked 18th place and continues to decline. LTCBTC is a total shitshow.
This is why it's not shown there in 2021, the list is only Top 10 from each year, last year was 5th. It's now just another "gone coin".
Clever list that's for sure, so many fallen shitcoins there, the memories lol. Now back to Bitcoin...

Speaking of which. What the fuck is the green leaf logo that has disappeared?
Green leaf Coin?
Each coin represents when someone wipes their ass with a green leaf instead of toilet paper?
Only 8 billion issued?

Exactly! Went all in on Green Leaf coin and have no money left to buy some TP.

I explicitly believe that there will be new highs in 2022, but i also have an eye on exchange illiquidity, which would make sense to me to strike somewhere in 2023.
You may call it a triple-top. The unprobabilistic part is the fact we didn't have this formation before, which is supporting my idea (or vision) of said outplay.
And it could be the slow squeeze of illiquidity that will make the 2022 blow-off less steep, and the liquidity crunch in 2023 more unexpected from the now terms of view.

Of course, i would be a moron if i would only believe in this one scenario and not prepare for other possibilities (which are more likely to play out by probability), even more so reading your past postings and ignoring their message to develop a flexible strategy, or strategies.
But since this is an inverse approach to the ole school probability type of reasoning, i would not be surprised if future happenings would come near that.
Just mainly because of SOMA fundamentals. And Murphy's Law...

Short version: Bullish on 2022, but not suprised if 2023 gets even more bullish because of the effect of the supply-crunch, when the majority would expect the slow fade out of the bear market. As you know, i plan to hodl the vast majority of my stash for years and decades to come, i will be fine whatever will come.

This scenario looks pretty realistic to me. Triple top is something we haven't witnessed before but why not? I mean BTC can't be that predictable to follow the same pattern over and over again. Back in October one of my nocoiner friends mentioned something about taking a loan and buying BTC as it's bound to skyrocket in December. Easy-peasy, piece of cake, no-brainer. That's when I understood moonshot is not going to happen most probably.  Grin

Sorry, there are no triple tops or triple bottoms...with >90% probability.

Well I'm not a trader or a TA person I'm not sure if it exists or not (well it does in theory but I'm not sure about RL) I just used this term to make it clear there's going to be a third top (wave) going considerably higher than 2 previous ones. If you're good at TA you can come up with a correct term for that.  Cool
