Major Heat / Possible Scam Alert on the coin floating on Twitter.

That's not right. Should provide solid proof if you're going to make such claims. Not just post shit that may or may not be true. These twitter fucks destroy coins left and right, even solid legit coins fall victim to these punks.

I just called that guy out on Twitter, because everything he lists in the image is unsubstantiated at best, except for the issue of relaunching. I've checked the source, and the proof of work reward schedule in the code is the same as what's claimed in the ANN post.

Posting source files on Github is definitely the best practice, and we encourage all developers to do it, but there was source provided for LXC via Mega... not optimal, but that hardly qualifies as a scam in any way. Source was later posted on Github at https://github.com/librexcoin/librexcoin, as bangomatic mentioned above.

Pointing out real scams is great; posting junk like that guy does is just distracting from investigation of real scams.

Looks like they removed the page

Another fudder defeated! One down, one million to go Grin
Bet dude bought major thousands on that twitter fud. I sold 1/2 of mine just in case it was true. shit! lol

See, that's what they want. Angry

No proof, just hear say. A bit like our Dev's Grin

As for the current price it reflects what's been delivered. Not a lot.

The comment at the top of this block of code is interesting:

// miner's POW block rewards (Note: 1st block = premine of 1%: 27068 coins out of 2,706,880 maximum coins in PoW period)
int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(int64_t nFees)
{

    int64_t nSubsidy = 700 * COIN;

    if(pindexBest->nHeight <= 1000)
    {
        nSubsidy = 700 * COIN;
    }
    else if(pindexBest->nHeight <= 2000)
    {
        nSubsidy = 2500 * COIN;
    }
    else if(pindexBest->nHeight <= 6000)
    {
        nSubsidy = 1500 * COIN;
    }
    else if(pindexBest->nHeight < 8641)
    {
        nSubsidy = 303 * COIN;
    }

    if (fDebug && GetBoolArg("-printcreation"))
        printf("GetProofOfWorkReward() : create=%s nSubsidy=%"PRId64"\n", FormatMoney(nSubsidy).c_str(), nSubsidy);

    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

The original intent was to premine 1%, but there was no premine in the first block.  Did the dev change their mind or are they hiding something elsewhere?  The lack of github by now, or even at launch for that matter, is suspect.  Zipping the code and uploading to mega takes at least as much effort.  It makes no sense.

This is clearly just an artifact of the code being forked, either from this repo (MastiffCoin) or some other later clone of it. Note that every single coin in existence is forked from somewhere as a starting point, and since MastiffCoin is known to have a very solid codebase there have been many forks of it.

Just a clone of a previous coin, as are all.

This coin is starting to look good, distribution isn't too bad either, it's all on the DEV's to deliver now.

Just thought that I would say that this coin if it does get zerocash implemented will be worth 200k each. (easy)

Just remember that while your trying to spread fud to get them cheaper that 2000 satoshi.

I cant see 200K, not with 10M coins. If they had 1 M coins yes.

When our features and apps release this should be a decent target. Also due to pos starting in the 7000 block series the total coin amount will be a little less than 10 mil. Every pos block pays out a small bit and takes the place of a larger payout amount.

So what will be the exact figure for the total coin supply?

2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN] X11 | POW + POS | No IPO | on: August 02, 2014, 09:56:37 AM
scam or not, the coin is already dead, check the price.

That sums up this coin, lol.
2452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN] X11 | POW + POS | No IPO | on: August 02, 2014, 09:11:47 AM
just added TREX - see what happens now

https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-LXC

No way should they be adding this coin, haven't they fucking learnt anything over they last few weeks?

These Dev's haven't delivered jack shit yet!

It's not even on github FFS.

They have learnt that no matter how shitty/scam/awesome/stupid/etc.anon coin listed THEY WIN because of fees.
So go cry to somewhere else, nobody is forcing you to buy this coins and nobody is forcing the exchange  to list it.

in the meantime I made a X4 of my investment in rented rigs with this coin . For me

With an attitude like that, the scammers will keep on scamming.
2453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN] X11 | POW + POS | No IPO | on: August 02, 2014, 08:57:35 AM
just bc its not on github doesnt make it a scam. the src code is posted and available. and it has been reviewed.

OK, who has reviewed this coin? Sources?

That's not a bad deal.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN] X11 | POW + POS | No IPO | on: August 01, 2014, 09:11:07 PM
Ive stopped mining. The lack of communication from the Dev is a big red flag. I really don't know the purpose of these coins since it seems no effort has been made to get it on an exchange!

I know there is trolling gonna happen but this is even dumb for trolls. I'm on here 3 x a day min and a lot more often than that. Really lack of communication?  Roll Eyes

As for the source it's here. Guess what is going to be put in the git hub. Same one. We will do so before pow ends.  Smiley Other features like Android wallet are being tested for public release. Mac wallet will be soon as well.

Basically 9 out of 10 new coins are P&D shitcoin/scams, so until you prove otherwise by letting experts examine the code, people will be very skeptical. And no need for you devs to get all butthurt about us asking questions. If you know the coin is not a scam thats great! Prove it to us.

Maybe the DEV's want to mine the shit out of this coin, and that's why we have had no source?

Create a little uncertainty so the difficulty doesn't go up too much?

nice. And nobody ever claimed that bounty for cracking the anonymity yet?

Not yet.

There is going to be a bigger bounty for cracking it after rev3.

Look at the coin supply in the comment, 2.7 mill, it's either he changed his mind or he took this part of the code from another coin.

As for no github? That needs to be sorted ASAP.
