2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 03, 2016, 02:13:33 PM
if we are just considering the probability of things to happen then yes it is possible but the chance is so small so in action it is not profitable for majority of people. one of the biggest reasons is the house edge which makes each bet in the house favor
2442  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: March 03, 2016, 02:09:23 PM
Don't save but rather make profits with your coins. Coins idle and sleeping in your storage will only gave you a big earnings if the price reached the skyrocket price. But the question when this will happened?Huh? So start making profits today. We can still feel if the price will reached it's skyrocket so we can still accumulate and save coins to participate in that event.

this is a good and bad suggestion at the same time.

it is good because everybody should start investing their bitcoin and also use them as currency in order to move bitcoin ecosystem forward.

but it is bad because the investment options for bitcoin are limited and many of them are too risky so turn out to be scams. which will lead to losing more that you could earn profit.
2443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin ever goes mainstream on: March 03, 2016, 02:06:46 PM
.........
True Banks are definitely not easy to get rid of, especially because we live on a debt based system.
The central bank has control over the country and loan money to the government.

But the they are very clever, I think if everyone knew how the financial system really works the people would riot/revolution.
That's why Bitcoin is a good step in the right direction.

lets not forget that the government is never going to give up their control over money.
they are currently in control of paper money from printing it to monitoring all the transactions and taking taxes, so they don't want to give up this position of theirs.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best choice of alt coin on: March 02, 2016, 02:23:25 PM
sometimes you can earn a good profit if you find a brand new altcoin which is not yet released and be the first person to mine it, so get the most reward while difficulty is still low.
2445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy bitcoins by paypal? on: March 02, 2016, 02:20:56 PM
It is not possible to buy directly but you can trade. You can use localbitcoins and virwox. Tho they have quite huge fees so you can use them if you are trading big amounts. Also you can try the currency exchange section here, you can look for peoples who wants to trade your paypal for bitcoin. Always use escrow if you are dealing with unreputable members

when it comes to paypal and charge back it doesn't matter if you use an escrow because after the trade you can't ask the escrow to keep holding the funds until the charge back period has passed, they can charge back as soon as they get the fund from escrow.
2446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much you have lost in gambling? on: March 02, 2016, 02:13:59 PM
it is hard to say an exact amount that i have lost, because my gambling has been going on for a while now so i have to add up a lot of small amounts since i usually bet small but i think it would be around 0.01BTC lost.
2447  Economy / Gambling / Re: where is the best place to invest Btc on: March 02, 2016, 02:10:17 PM
where i can invest my btc and i can get a good profit ...with minimum risk? Smiley
Well I'm sure there are services that offer buying actual stocks with bitcoin, that kind of investment is kinda safer than gambling and ponzi schemes.

if any of those services are a legitimate stock broker who won't run away with my investments and also if they guarantee a minimal profit then i will invest in their service without hesitation.
2448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict the price for January 1, 2017 on: March 02, 2016, 02:06:44 PM
i am predicting a price bigger than $700 for the next year (January, 2017) because i believe no matter the bubble happens or not the price is just going to keep on going up
2449  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2016, 01:50:31 PM
my worst mistake was not buying enough bitcoin when the price was low at around $220. i should have bought much more than what i did back then. i was scared and bought so few instead.
2450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when we have mined all the BTC on: March 02, 2016, 01:46:36 PM
When we mined all BTC, BTC price will go up instantly. I think this is good news.  Wink

since we are not going to mine all the BTC at once i don't see why the price should go up instantly.
this is going to be a slow process over time.
2451  Economy / Services / Re: looking for Reddit link posters on: March 02, 2016, 01:44:14 PM

cause i have a 2 year old Reddit account but i would prefer to post it with a new account.
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: March 01, 2016, 03:19:52 PM
i am not sure about the total amount that i have gambled but it must be around 0.01BTC which i mostly have lost because 80% of my bets are losing bets.
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 01, 2016, 03:15:35 PM
in my experience if you ever consider trading as another form of gambling then you are doing something wrong. because unlike gambling, trading needs a set of skills that makes it different from chance based games like gambling.
2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: How it will go to $0 again? on: March 01, 2016, 03:11:43 PM
this will never happen.
the reason is simple, it is because there is a lot of buy support from regular bitcoin users like me an also from big whales who don't want to see the bitcoin price go down.
2455  Other / Off-topic / Re: In 20 years, what would you like to do with your bitcoin? on: March 01, 2016, 03:06:04 PM
in 20 years first of all i wish to have enough bitcoin by then that no matter what the price is, i would be considered rich. and also i wish the price of one bitcoin is high enough that i can buy anything i want with it without any problem.
2456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam accept Bitcoin soon? on: March 01, 2016, 02:56:52 PM
What will happen to the 3rd party sellers of Steam games for bitcoins? Now they are selling the games with big overhead. Will they readjust the prices after Steam launches Bitcoin payments or they will close up shop?

aren't third party selling the game for cheaper? why adding bitcoin as a payment should change this? i see no correlation, aside from the fluctuations of the market

any third party who sells an steam game cheap is either scam, stolen games, credit card or they bought the games at the resale like half off steam summer sales and now are selling it higher but yet cheaper that original price.

can you tell me why secondstrade.com 60 th sig campaign payout is still unconfirmed and not able to use it
https://blockchain.info/tx/b5bc9629e26345c88a65308dd6b4d24f9572369ff4eec301fdbf319984d842b4

2460  Economy / Gambling / Re: "richest gambling sites"??? on: February 28, 2016, 11:15:28 AM
you are at the top of all wrong , the richest is jackpotracer , jackpotracer give a jackpot of up to 2btc more , other gambling sites do not dare give up 2btc jackpot .

I think there are still many sites that give more than 2 btc for the jackpot. You can search bitsler. It gives almost 7btc last time when I played and I dont know is there still any player that already get it or not. If there is not claimed yet it should be around 8-9 btc now

Nitrogensports have a big jackpot on dice games. one day i see their jackpot is around 10+ btc. For the richest gambling sites, i think primedice is the richest.

Never had the chance to play on primedice. But yea i heard that's where the bigstakes are being played. Nitrogensports on the other hand really is a good player in the game.

there was a post here about primedice top rollers profit wise. and looking at that list adding up those profits that the players got out of the site it was around 2000-3000 bitcoin so i guess PD is making a lot more than that so they can pay those winners these big amounts.
