2441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitsler's NWOBitcoin is a power hungry maniac. on: December 14, 2021, 08:31:22 AM
It's hard to combat a moderator in any situation because they have power over you. But I think it's unfair not to show the chat fully where it started. Like when did the user, who insulted you, and then how you became a "baby," as the insult puts it? I think you are asking for the mod to ban the first insult, which makes sense, but you, on the other hand, going and calling him a prick probably triggered something in him that made him use his powers over you.

You were probably triggered as well with all that has happened. I suggest you calm down and assess it slowly.
2442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the fundamental tool for economic liberation/independence on: December 14, 2021, 07:29:07 AM
That is what the country leader is hoping for, for sure. I think the vision that El Salvador's leader has been looking forward towards the rise in BTC. I believe with the support of the prices previously, and we can reach higher prices if it sustains the prices that we have. We will never really know what happens but hoping for the best can lead to a better future for its citizens. You'll never know when it's going to be the time when other countries follow suit, right?

With that, I think you can safely say that we will reach higher highs with that. BTC will be more and more scarce but still demanded.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse and blockchain on: December 14, 2021, 02:41:35 AM
Everyone is just looking for different ways to excite something and realize what the public wants. If the public wants it, that's going to increase in price, and that's how they will make money out of it. It's just like how it is IRL. It will be hype for a while and then dies down. That's human history for you. Now it's just that the information flows so fast that it's fast to disseminate.

Why won't it work with A.I.? Maybe it could be combined somehow?
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using computers at work for mining - what if? on: December 14, 2021, 01:01:02 AM
I think there are some people who do this with their employers and that's sad. It's probably violating their code or something. They might be into doing some other shady stuff once they have started doing it. If you are, you're not probably gonna get a rewarding result if you try now. Better to use the mining power with an altcoin that's kinda worth it and still can be mined with those types of computers.
2445  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 13, 2021, 12:49:46 PM
I do hope that everything will go well here. Sadly, there wasn't any update with regards to the charity thread with any activity. But I'm currently helping compile all the transactions and ask for their breakdown with the funds that were gotten for activities. I have mine and just need to input it into the final spreadsheet. It would be easier to see how it breaks down if it's okay to use as a reference/copy the spreadsheet by Royse777.

As for some updates with charity, I have some remaining funds for the last remaining activity that I have reserved for the holidays. It will be on December 19. I'll update the charity thread by then.

I do hope everything clears out by then.
2446  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 summer fed stop repo on: December 09, 2021, 01:36:41 PM
A lot of money has been flowing into markets and the fed has been borrowing a lot for sure and I think this could be devastating once it all collapses. What the fed wants is stability and with what they are doing, I don't think it can hold up to what they want. I hope no one gets so lost with their life savings here and be smart and use crypto. Let's see what happens in the coming months.
2447  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: December 08, 2021, 04:44:05 PM
I hope you find your way to become better and stick to your words on all the things you have posted. You always say that you won't play and you are butthurt because you lost in the casino, knowing that you could lose everything.

For the wrong transfer of coin, that's just your fault. You can never blame anyone else but you.
2448  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Possible Compromised Laptop With Seed in Password Manager? on: December 08, 2021, 07:18:07 AM
Does your password manager keep it offline or something? I know some password managers have the option to encrypt the note/file that you have stored and possibly keep it in another layer of security other than your master password. Have you done this? Maybe this could help your thinking if it's compromised or something. But I would still recommend you backup your stuff and possibly change PC or something. If you have this "just to be safe attitude,"
2449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why should I use Kucoin over Binance? on: December 07, 2021, 06:53:00 PM
An essential factor for me is the information that they have on me. I agree with KYC things because it's necessary to protect your information. You need to be aware that it should be like that and if you have no problem with providing it then proceed with the next step.

Decide whether or not you want to have participation within the exchange itself. I see all the time Binance’s events with all the trading volume and buying promos with upcoming coins. This could be a deciding factor for you.

I'm quite biased because I am using Binance as my go to exchange, next to FTX. KuCoin is great for sure, it's just a matter of availability to you and convenience.
2450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $2 million worth of SHIBA INU bought on: December 07, 2021, 06:10:58 PM
Purchasing that amount would be a driving factor towards other people or smaller investors buying into Shib. Because something like that would make it even more attractive because why in the first place? Like why would an investor put that kind of money on the line if they don’t have any plans on having SHIB?

It could be another trap or a sign that it could go higher. As long as you know what you are doing and not forcing yourself to buy, you are good.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Potential price of Polygon (MATIC) next year on: December 07, 2021, 05:29:28 PM
I do see polygon being one of the top cryptocurrencies for a long time because of its useful features and the ability to replace some of the current technologies that we have. I think we can safely say that it could increase in price because some of the meme coins have risen in price as well so there is possibility as long as there is demand as well.

If you believe in polygon, you just HODL it. We can never really know what's next.
2452  Other / Meta / Re: If the signature campaings are removed from the forum, will you stay or leave? on: December 07, 2021, 05:24:45 PM
Probably going to stay because even if I don’t have an active signature campaign, I post instill read some topics of interest to me. I have learned so much here in the forum, so I don’t think I would ever stay away. Just less active in a total of activity. The most popular answer as well. I think a lot of people fell in love with the forum.
2453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com Price Prediction – Will CRO Price Hit $3 Soon? on: December 07, 2021, 03:52:12 PM
I had invested in CRO for quite some time, even before it was even CRO. I remember it was for the card do use in certain transactions are even local transactions here in my country. Ever since they announced the acquiring of the stadium, it has just run-up in price and a lot of people started buying it. Maybe if they even acquire more off something mainstream, then it could hit $3 for sure.
2454  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do paper wallets work on: December 07, 2021, 02:16:48 AM
I was once like you, thinking it would be possible to generate the duplicate keys caused by someone else. Considering that you can hit the jackpot that has the lost bitcoins in store, but of course, it's all just a dream. Just like what the other member said, that number is so significant that there's no chance that you can recreate it.

If someone could have programmed that, you could bet your life savings that they have already done it, but no. It's just not plausible.
2455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Bitcoin a donation to everyone on: December 06, 2021, 09:07:16 AM
There's no direct impact towards what it can do for other people but there's definitely an overall impact towards what it can give towards the economy. Hopefully, it can somewhat be noticeable once a lot more people have been involved in crypto. It's such a crazy thing, to begin with losing that much without that kind of intention but that's just how it works.

Destined to be burned I guess, without those lost bitcoins, the price won't trigger as it is right now because the amount that has been lost is also huge and could contribute to the price of bitcoins in the crypto market. Well, I feel bad for those people who weren't paying attention when sending their bitcoins to the wrong address but on the other hand, they just need to move on and forget about it cause it's part of the game where some will win and some will lose.
It still dependent on it right? Unless it's going to be on the market all the time which could dilute everything with its value. With that super large amount, it could really affect the market unless the owner wouldn't sell it but who will not though? I think with the current needs that we have in life, it's quite demanding that we have. I think it's unnecessary to experience this wrong address. It's carelessness for sure.
2456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice technique on: December 06, 2021, 07:46:59 AM
No one can give a definite answer to how it can be done correctly because it's always going to be random towards what the next roll could be. You could have a super great day and luck with your side for a day and a super lousy chance on the next one. I view this as a ritual rather than a technique. Maybe some formulation on how much you could bet on a specific time but not to the extent that it's a certainty with gambling.

2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Cost Averaging Question on: December 06, 2021, 02:42:52 AM
If you are not going to worry about fees too much, I think the best way is to do it daily, so you are averaging at different prices more and more compared to just one price every week. That's if you have the time to cover it all and understand why you are doing it in the first place. Maybe automate the continuous buying of BTC and stick to a tough time so it could be an experiment to share with those interested in it.

I hope you can update us here with what you plan to do.
2459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Profit at $1,188.91 - Profit 36.5715% - 2 Months on: December 03, 2021, 07:00:47 AM
Do you have an update on this? I sent you a PM. Thanks.
I have transferred the funds to the spot market making sure that I can just leave it and choose coins that I want to HODL. Not using the same strategy though. Just using the spot grid strategy and just automate continuously.

I replied to your message now. Thank you for PM-ing me.
2460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Home Economics TV show mentions payment in “crypto” on: December 03, 2021, 06:03:59 AM
It's better to use "crypto" instead of just Bitcoin. It doesn't mean I don't know and that I don't want BTC, but it's mentioning everything in general, which will be suitable for everyone. The ideal way to focus on this is to show into some other type of audience, not just mainstream social media. More people get into it; it's better. More people are now going to stay away from hyperinflation etc.
