1801  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💎ONEHASH.COM💎 900+ BITCOIN CASINO GAMES 🎰 PROVABLY FAIR 🏆 DAILY CONTESTS 💰 on: May 31, 2022, 05:46:40 AM
Not sure how many people are still using "OneHash services" but we were just informed that both, OneHash & Cyberdice, will be closing shop by the end of June. Player funds need to be withdrawn by then or will get lost.

https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/onehash-cyberdice-are-closing-down-their-services/
I was looking for a post about this because I received an email about it.  This was sent for registered users for sure. I thought it wasn't yet posted but here it is. I hope that others would be able to withdraw their funds there.

I wonder if it's a development problem or the opening of a new gambling business on a larger scale.
I was looking for any more information about it like from their site or something but I haven't seen any other announcement aside from the email that I received.
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 31, 2022, 05:32:11 AM
Based on the part where ETH would be the most probable choice, just knowing the two of the coins that we have to compare. It has more background and applications than BNB/BSC chain, and then it's just that it's going to be an ideal coin.

I think the following are the features that make them great for both chains.
  • They have both great utility
  • Developers are attracted to the cryptocurrency space
  • They are qualified as the go-to of the future market

They have the potential to be the leading coin, but if it comes to the two, I will choose Ethereum because of its background and the people backing it. Many developers have already decided on it for their projects, and it's still growing.
1803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realist World of Crypto Space on: May 31, 2022, 04:08:17 AM
I think many people are expecting something, but it's not going to be a hundred percent. It's not wrong to have a goal.

I'm curious about the time travelers that show that they "know" what's going to happen and are predicting that it will rise in price or something. And then once we reached that and it was accurate, many people would feel "if's" in their decision and "if I only did this." There are many things to consider, and it just really needs to be accepted that it's not always correct when it comes to decisions.

We shouldn't expect anything, but having cryptocurrency would still be an ideal move for the long run.
1804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: May 30, 2022, 01:14:59 PM
Are you talking about the whole market? Because all I'm seeing right now are red, and it's a bear market with some of the assets worldwide.

Maybe when you define a price range, then if it stays within that range, it's still a sideways market. If there are no significant resistances and supports that are not being broken down, you can probably say that it is still in a sideways market.

I also believe that scalping is excellent in this kind of market, making sure that you follow all your protocols in trading, especially when it comes to different indicators. Having firm decisions and believing that you are doing something would benefit you in the long run.
1805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: May 30, 2022, 12:43:02 PM
It's fantastic to have a mentor you can rely on and form into who you are today. Mentors are meant to guide you but not walk you through it entirely because it will always be YOU who will carry you towards the goal you have, which will be the challenge everyone will face.

Many people are known to be good at trading and can make themselves appear suitable, but some scammers make it seem that they are making themselves credible first and then scam later. Picking the right mentor should be a big deal, and you should know who you are choosing. Like with a background that's going to reflect who they are, and they will be the one shedding light on what they are planning for the future and how you are going to be helped.

I'm not sure how Satoshi became a mentor because did he teach students about it?
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: May 30, 2022, 12:25:27 PM
Ever since 2010, we know that that was the final appearance of the Celtics, and now that they are back, they are even hungrier to win the title of the NBA Championship compared to the Warriors and knowing that they have little difference in strength, like comparing a David's and Goliath scenario. It will likely be a close match 'till the end. The Celtics have beaten them a couple of times with an overwhelming lead so that they can win this.

I'm going with the Celtics this time.

1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This can make alts loses more value than ever on: May 29, 2022, 02:31:43 PM
So are you saying that PoW is the only reason it is doing good? You don't care about why PoS is the choice by the people instead of PoW?

There are reasons why that PoW is being replaced with PoS.
  • Energy Consumption is getting high
  • More efficient with transactions

It's still the users and validators of the ETH network who would determine what they will be going through with the network and whether having been in a PoW or PoS makes them effective or not; it will continue. It's going to be determined what will happen in the future if something happens. If there's a vulnerability or something, we can say that it would've been better or something. For now, having it be improved is already better. I think everyone agrees on that.
1809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can some AltCoins pump during bear markets ? on: May 29, 2022, 05:38:37 AM
Altcoins could still pump, mainly if they address a specific type of niche that no altcoin yet has ever explored, so in that sense, that's going to be a great thing to invent. There are always going to be two things.
  • Increase in demand hence increase in price
  • Cost of inflation, more people need money, people will cash out

I think that will be a determining factor when they would either put money in the market or not. It's just that many people have probably needed more money and want to cash out and cause bear markets. I think hype would always mean that it will increase in prices and not just more demand.

P.S. It's funny to see "who lived" or something. It's something that I didn't expect because it's like people were just born there—anyway, kidding.
1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dumb plan? on: May 28, 2022, 01:34:34 PM
It will always be beneficial to invest in new stuff because that will bring innovation and other things to the world. It's like getting from beepers to smartphones kind of thing. Where are the old things now? Sometimes it's just better to have a new one.

You would want to do just some things when replacing the older crypto. These are just what I can think of from the top of my head.
  • Faster transaction speeds
  • Less strain on handling the current blockchain
  • More people easily understand it and how to use it
  • More secure network

The cryptocurrencies that are still on top probably have a lot of users, and that just says a lot, and you wouldn't go flawed with them. So maybe that's going to help you in something.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region on: May 26, 2022, 02:28:11 PM
I'm happy for you and the people in your country to have that option. It just shows that a lot more people would be willing to receive payments in Bitcoin instead of fiat. I do hope that other countries would follow suit, and that would be the best thing that everyone will have involved in crypto or not.

It's fantastic that you have managed to make your company, being a manager, that it then accepts an alternative payment. It's nice that there are people like you.

Imagine the things that we have gone through, from the start to now. You wouldn't imagine how much Bitcoin has changed and how much it has given to everyone. Those challenges are nothing. It's going to be worth it in the long run.
1812  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help me decipher the text on: May 26, 2022, 08:32:01 AM
I'm sorry, but it seems that you would have a hard time recovering your wallet because of the bad quality. It's not just a terrible handwriting thing; it's also the photography. Since it was a way older image, it's probably a low-quality cam and awful lighting that caused that shitty photo you have.

Anyway, I think that something is missing from your image. Maybe that's the only part you don't understand, and that's the one that needs interpreting?
1813  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: investing is in crypto do not be deceived by hype or publicity on: May 26, 2022, 07:37:41 AM
No matter what you do, you will always be on the verge of having success or not. It's always going to be the part where you make it seem easy to profit or a project to believe in, but it's always what matters. It's always better to have excellent credentials instead of having no credentials for projects and the people involved in them. How can you trust it if there are no results or substance with what they have?

It's terrible to be deceived because it has been happening in cryptocurrency. No matter how good the project is, the people who support it are essential. Then it will grow in its entirety. Investments would be suitable if you believe in what you are investing in, so you wouldn't be so emotional.
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin investments have become risky this day. on: May 25, 2022, 04:40:22 PM
I know that the market is in a downtrend but not all.  There are other coins that have served a lot of things and made it to the top gainers. It might be that the investments pulled out on the loser coins have been transferred towards the altcoin market that has provided the gains that it collected.

I think it's hard to say to trust because you might be putting everything on the line just for that one coin and it shouldn't be like that. Unpredictability makes everything hard and being able to correctly guess is great. Makes it like a gambling thing.

1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1.6 billion dollars turned to $2,200 - The Luna effect on Binance Assets on: May 23, 2022, 04:20:31 PM
I've never touched LUNA so far especially after what happened not interested in entering their market and what happened to luna gave a lesson that crypto is very risky so you have to understand each risk well
This would be a decision that would make or break you in terms of how much you are willing to risk and that you will believe that Luna will and can recover from the current happenings. We all know that UST has been left for dead and wouldn't come back but for Luna, it might be a different story. This is why I'm wondering if anyone would see how risky and might be profitable in the coming year Luna can be if it recovered or something.

will not buy back luna , i have sold my luna when the value fell 30% of my initial capital at least i didn't lose too much
I'm grateful I'm not like my other friends they haven't had time to sell their Luna
At least you have cut your losses earlier. It seems that would be just hours before it all came crashing down, right? I'm pretty sad for the people who have lost 99% of their investment in Luna. That's just terrible.

This is just too much and I hope the people who have invested could recover from this. Imagine liquidating most of your assets to recover. I think this is one of the reasons why the market is down for a while. It's just a discounted price so maybe getting Luna is not bad? lol. This is not financial advice
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1.6 billion dollars turned to $2,200 - The Luna effect on Binance Assets on: May 23, 2022, 08:41:18 AM
I admire how the CEO of Binance is making statements that they want to make the users who are affected be protected or reimbursed first or something to that sense. It's not just them, but I read a lot of tweets that concern Luna and them losing millions of their money to it. It's just that volatile, you know.

Algo-based stable coins are probably not yet ready to be here because they have just been left to die, but Luna may have a fighting chance with what the Team Terra is proposing. Imagine being the leader of this, and many people have probably lost their life savings because of this.

I'm not sure if it will still be able to recover from this, though.

Has anybody thought of buying Luna despite what's happening?
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible UST recovered ? on: May 23, 2022, 06:56:38 AM
I think they plan to do a 2.0 of their project, right? I know that UST is not backed by anything but Luna is with BTC, but it's not enough. With everything that's happening, like the minting of Luna before May 14 and attempting to have Luna 2.0 be distributed to those holding Luna pre-crash, to the UST holders, etc., it's not going to be enough, I think.

What I'm concerned about is what the people who have put their trust in Terra will do if they don't have any reconciliation or something.

https://station.terra.money/proposal/1188
Another suggestion to restore the UST price. But there is very little chance that it will be accepted.
Until now, there's no more votes on this one. It would be highly unlikely that this will be accepted. This was submitted 11 days ago already.

It is likely that this proposal will be accepted:
https://station.terra.money/proposal/1623
And then the price of UST will fall sharply.
So this is it right?

https://agora.terra.money/t/terra-ecosystem-revival-plan-2-amended/18498

Looks familiar in terms of the plans indicated on the station.
1819  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid omicron version 2.0 monkeypox coming and markets on: May 23, 2022, 03:52:42 AM
Didn't we have enough problems with the previous years? With all the stimulus given within the country, wouldn't it have helped those in need already? I don't think there's another stimulus that would wreck the economy again.

I doubt it would create something like COVID did, but it's not a competition. We should still be cautious with our health and standards with it.

Unless the WHO does something about it, the market will crash but recover, just like what happened with COVID.
1820  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Educational: Bitcoin is technically independent from Altcoins on: May 23, 2022, 03:03:49 AM
Don't Altcoins depend on the price of BTC because of the following?
  • Bitcoin has started it all
  • Bitcoin is being used as a reserve
  • Copycats of BTC

With the reasoning above, it's independent of altcoins. It must be considered the other way around. Altcoins are dependent on BTC because they use BTC to purchase altcoins. BTC is one of the most liquid coins, so you would imagine that every altcoin is dependent on BTC.

Being part of the cryptocurrency world, you wouldn't go wrong in choosing BTC for your leading coin.
