1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is accused of providing users data to Russia on: April 24, 2022, 09:55:31 AM
This is alarming because I know that Binance also donated funds to Ukraine to help those in need and recover. But the facts that Binance put forward are convincing because they did help analyze data towards cybercriminal rings, and they did do good on that. So, what benefit would they get in providing data to Russia? Unless there's something more underneath it all.
1902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 24, 2022, 09:43:48 AM
I do think that it's a necessity towards the "outlook" of the business itself because if they are new and they want to be known in the community, let's say here in Bitcointalk, the way they can do that is through someone that is a part of the trustworthy people. And it's up to the bounty managers to discuss whether they want to represent it or not.

It's always going to be an advantage in BTCT that someone could represent you on your behalf because they are the ones who know the workarounds of the forum and how they can market their company effectively.
1903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a good way to privately buy Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2022, 09:28:51 AM
Usually, P2P transactions are a great way to buy Bitcoin, and you would be able to conserve your privacy with it because it will only be the person you are transacting with knowing your identity. But the problem with this is that if you are going to check posts online, there's no proof that you can trust the person or something. It's going to be a challenge. The best way to avoid that is to use exchanges with outstanding P2P transactions etc.

I think of buying crypto as two sides of a coin
  • P2P - Fewer fees but can be a hassle
  • Buy from exchanges - higher fees, KYC but less hassle

That's just how it will be if you were to consider the two. Would it be worth it to pay a couple more dollars towards having it readily available in your wallet or wait for someone to agree with your price and have a risk of scam (if you don't know how to correctly transact)
1904  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Who else got BTC? on: April 24, 2022, 07:20:02 AM
In the past few weeks, I have received some unknown numbers and letters with a file attachment that can be opened using the google apps, etc. That's already a sketchy thing to do, and it also was sent to multiple emails, so immediately; it's just a spam thing, and they are probably hoping for someone to fall for it or something.

Some of us are probably used to this by now, but I hope the non-tech savvy or people who are not used to these things don't get scammed or hacked.
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a good move by national bank of Ukraine on: April 22, 2022, 01:10:28 PM
Having a monthly capping and not using their currency means that they probably want to strengthen the power of their money. So they don't care how much of a volume that Bitcoin with the buy and sell takes place, it's all about what currency they are trading with. Maybe their value of money has diverted into something that this is one of the solutions that they could think of.
1906  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be patient, don't get discouraged. on: April 22, 2022, 01:18:15 AM
It's better to be patient and learn everything you can here in the forum. All the most reputable sources come through here, everything related to cryptocurrencies in general. They need to know why they are doing it in the first place rather than being here thinking about all the possible things they could earn. "why" you are here is essential because it could affect your decision to move forward and stay here. You might become impatient if you are unable to get what you want.
1907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ireland to Ban Political Donations in Cryptocurrencies on: April 21, 2022, 09:40:05 AM
I think so. Obviously, we will always have P2P, but just a year ago we were seeing how Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were spreading without the restrictive regulations and bans like this that we are seeing in recent months. I see the future looking blacker than I did this time last year.
Maybe they are just doing this so that when the price goes down, they would buy more of it? Don't you think? Or it's just that they have no trust with it or they do not want to show the "transparency" that we all want because they might see what they are doing with donation funds or something.
1908  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's in for crypto wallet companies? on: April 21, 2022, 09:24:53 AM
It is always going to be about sales. Whether they have created a wallet that deserves a price tag, then that's how they are probably going to make money. If you are talking about creating wallets for a specific token, it's perhaps for promoting the actual coin. How will the users hold it if they aren't going to use any software for storing it? I think it's always going to be aligned with "why" they are using or creating the tokens in the first place. Being invested in would be a worthy goal for the devs.
1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 21, 2022, 07:40:41 AM
This is a problem you know wouldn't think would happen entirely, but it's better to be safe than sorry. As other members said, it's not good to keep everything on an exchange. It's suitable for profiting, but what if a hack might affect your capital there? What would you do then? Are you going to cry and shout scam? Even though you know it should be the exchange's responsibility it checking the vulnerability of their exchange, there should be some responsibility on the user to prevent life-threatening or lifestyle changes in the invested amount.

It would be best to find staking or earning potential that uses your wallet or some hardware wallets that have to stake and make money from HODLing etc.
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Trading Bot with 136 exchanges available!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: April 21, 2022, 07:15:09 AM
I have the license since 2017. How can i use this again?
I have all the Messenges with Gunther and the payment transaction

Contact @NarKotix on Telegram he will take care of that (make sure you're the one contacting him first)

Hey, do you know how I could message this person? I'm in the same situation, bought Gunbot in 2017 and I must've reseted my telegram so I'm not in the group anymore. I tried to join through the link Gunthar sent in 2017 but I think it already expired... does anyone know who I should contact since I've messaged Gunthar but he haven't replied and his last activity was last year so I doubt I'll get a reply. Thanks in advance.
I could assist you on this one. You could let me know your Telegram or message me here. I can assist you with the connection of the old license. I just need to verify your license and API registered before.
1911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ireland to Ban Political Donations in Cryptocurrencies on: April 21, 2022, 06:07:52 AM
That's the thing with banning it, how would you know that it's not going to be still used? If someone wants to donate money to a politician for their campaign etc, they can just convert it into Fiat and donate it. It just doesn't make sense really, why would they ban a certain thing that could be worked around by doing the conversion. They are probably out there to discourage the use of crypto.
1912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Davis vs Romero: May 28 on: April 19, 2022, 06:18:15 PM
This makes me want to bet with Romero, with that kind of odds, it looks so enticing to make me want to bet with it. I hope that once I bet, he would win, lol. Even though it can be a trap, it's still something that you could take into account if you have extra money.
1913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the Launchpad business is expanding at a rapid rate? on: April 19, 2022, 02:26:27 PM
I don't think having new launchpads would be beneficial because there are a lot of big exchanges that have so many users that they would rather have it in a trusted and more known exchange than a new one. It's not going to be productive for the new projects because most people don't believe in it anymore, and some have just wasted their money in that way, so I don't think it's going to be profitable anymore for new launchpads unless there is something innovative for those, who would want to launch it there.
1914  Other / Archival / Re: How will the stock market crash affect the price of bitcoin in 2022? on: April 18, 2022, 04:35:00 PM
Let's get everything cleared out first, and no one would know what would happen to the market; it's always going to be speculation. When it comes to holding positions, it's usually always going to be the risky ones first that will be let go, and I think that's one of the approaches of those institutions that have invested in BTC. But that would depend on whether or not they need to be liquid with what they have. Bitcoin can serve as a protection against the loss of value of certain assets.
1915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT development on: April 18, 2022, 02:19:42 PM
I think it's a mixed story. Like it's a Cinderella story with hard work involved. Luck and hard work for sure. Because the effort made by people that had sold millions in value when it comes to NFTs are astonishing. It has made a consistent effort worth it.

What I remembered reading in your post is Ghozali person? The one who took selfies? Is that what you are talking about OP?
1916  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Experience of using a cryptorobot on: April 18, 2022, 09:54:42 AM
It depends on the type of bot you have and how it analyzes the market because there are ways that you should determine before automating your strategy. You should be able to answer this question. How will the bot handle this type of market?

Different trends of the markets are
  • Bullish
  • Bearish
  • Sideways

In these different market trends, you need different strategies to accommodate the changes. It's going to be hard if you are going to rely on one method alone and use it in all markets, it's win-rate won't be enough for sure. So to be higher in win rate, you would need to be able to adapt to the market's current situation.

You still should control your money wherever it goes, like you shouldn't deposit directly to both. Just use an API service to trade your portfolio or something. Be vigilant.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Research; The use of Crypto currencies for cyber laundering on: April 18, 2022, 05:41:37 AM
Do you have any prior research that you have done first? What is the aim of your study as well? What are you planning to achieve once you have gathered enough data for it? Because for sure, that data wouldn't be readily available to anyone unless they are investigating it themselves, and they aim to prove that it is being used like that. As much as I don't want to see that being used like that, it's the reality.
1918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining profit is fading on: April 18, 2022, 05:05:58 AM
There could be other ways that you could fix this.
  • Mine another coin with your gear and hope for the best
  • Get more miners and have more coins to convert
  • Leave mining

I think some people have given a lot to mining that they do know what is happening in the market and keep going at it because that's how they support the system. Once there are fewer miners, block rewards would be more meaningful and will make it profitable to them again. Having only one mining gear wouldn't be profitable. The best way I think is to check what is above
1919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this also your strategy to avoid hitting your stop loss early? on: April 17, 2022, 02:14:49 PM
Interesting. I need more info from you on Gunbot. I used to read about it a lot earlier but somehow I dropped the idea as it needs proper settings and if we are having set up in wrong way then things could really turn upside down. Though I had this trial earlier I might just start it over again with detailed info. Im not sure but I am hearing a lot about bot trading these days out of know where. Lolz. I might ask you @crwth in pm. Smiley
Gunbot has been innovating a lot because for sure there's a learning curve in order to completely use it correctly but with the Gunbot School and how it became social, it has become a lot easier to learn it because there would be people to guide you throughout the journey with Gunbot.

You could also PM me if you have any questions, I would be willing to assist you for sure.
1920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading really works? Likely based on guesses on: April 17, 2022, 06:46:05 AM
Those who are saying that they have never made a loss will be an immediate lie. That's impossible, and they would be just making fantasies over something that isn't true. There's no need to argue about anything in trading; show the results and admit it's not 100%.

Trading is against people, so if someone is winning in trading, there's someone losing. No one wants to admit that they lost too, you know.

It does work, but it's about protecting your capital and making sure that you are not going to lose everything and become emotional that you would bet against the market continuously. The most consistent people are the ones who will be winning in trading, IMO, and of course, algorithmic traders because they are the most consistent. (Using bots etc.)

It would help if you didn't think that it's a guarantee to profit; it will always be in the amount of effort you will make.
