2461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 28, 2022, 11:02:44 PM
After a power packed test series Australia and Pakistan are into the ODI series. The three match ODI series begins today. Pakistan with its players are in good form once after the Pakistan Super League. Australia on the other side is with much eager to make the first Win. Few of the regular players of Australia are into the IPL, so there is more changes in the squad. Same as the test series this will be big, because both are in good form. All the three ODI matches will be in the same Gadaffi Stadium, so depending on the first match we can expect changes in the squad.
2462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Site on: March 28, 2022, 10:04:03 PM
Stake.com

duh...

Seriously though, if you can't trust an operation that can afford to get one of the biggest pop culture celebrities behind them, who can you trust?  Surely Drake's billion dollar empire wouldn't have been put at risk of lawsuits and brand name destruction by promoting a scam site, and I'm certain he has teams of people doing their due diligence to make sure that everything is legitimate.  For me, that does a lot to ease my mind that my funds would disappear once deposited, or that the casino was up to shady activity...  There's my $0.02 on the matter...
not the best in the world but stake.com is one of the best reputable gambling sites in the world today. In addition, with Drake supporting this site, the level of public trust in stake.com is increasing greatly. but not all gambling players are loyal to just one site, many of them also play on many sites, as long as the reputation is good (roobet, duelbits, bitcasino, winz and roolbit).
Almost every platform that promote their services through our forum has got good reputation and trust on using cryptocurrencies as well as fiat for gambling needs. In recent days through its promotional tactics and addition of more popular people as brand ambassadors Stake stands on the top. The preference between users vary, and what OP have requested is whether you go with platform that support sports or casinos. For now almost every platform gives way for sports and casinos.
2463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next U.S. Crypto Center? on: March 28, 2022, 09:57:13 PM
One of the reasons why crypto is booming there is because of the inflation effect. This is the basis for Americans to prefer crypto and encourage the government to adopt it. So it's normal that US will become the first developed country to legalize bitcoin and other countries will follow suit. plus recently biden issued a special order on crypto. It's like crypto being pushed for adoption.
Don't underestimate Switzerland, they know for sure how to make money using someone else's money Grin The city of Lugano is already working in this direction, so the rest of the country could follow along shortly. And managing this kind of changes in a small country, such as Switzerland, it's way easier than doing it in big countries like the US.
Already Switzerland is well known for its financial services. It is an easy to do thing for Switzerland than USA for some reasons like the population and the process involved. Even before the existence of bitcoin Swiss banks were popular for its anonymous service on banking and finance management. It is the country that regulated and approved cryptocurrency related services prior to most other countries. This way Switzerland is more a crypto friendly country. Apart from this Switzerland holds the best banking prowess, low tax, quality education which all could make it a crypto center.

It is the popular statement of crypto community. Unlike the market scenario you need to keep hold. The result will surely astonishing. Just think of the situation of bitcoin in war. Due to the war the market crashed all of the sudden, and then it have started to grow in a slow manner. After long time now the price have touched $48k. It was $34k when the war news came out. Unlike the situation it'll grow and we need the patience to experience the best out of the holdings.
2465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 27, 2022, 09:32:33 AM
What a thriller we just have between SA and India. It was a last ball win from SA. India who deserves a place in semis is now out of tournament thanks to WI/SA match that gave WI one point. Nonetheless its so good to see teams like SA, WI and India performing beyond expectations.
Australia is unbeaten so far and seems like SA and Australia will meet in the finals.
Rather than a thriller match it is an unlucky day for the Indian women's cricket team. India have got a big audience for cricket, but the women's cricket isn't much watched. This time this has changed and more people were supporting India. If India have got qualified, this would've been a big step forward and could've boosted them to do better. There is none to be blamed, and this is the second time India losing after scoring good in the first innings. Previously it was with Australia and this time it is South Africa.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 26, 2022, 10:07:42 PM
Every team seems to have some official sponsorship from any of the trusted crypto platform. Looking upon an image it looks like the cars aren't roaring against each other, it is the cryptocurrencies that are roaring against each other.

2467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 26, 2022, 06:06:12 AM
It was like a nightmare for Italy really. Who would have expected them to lose to North Macedonia like this? I didn't for example and it was completely normal to think so. Because there was an obvious gap between these teams and North Macedonia had nothing to do other than trying to defend them until the final whistle. And they really did it somehow. Their goal in the last minute was very disappointing for Italy and they couldn't answer to this goal unfortunately. Italy must have been among the biggest candidates for the title but they are not even in the World Cup.

In the end, one of the top teams got kicked out of the world cup. These two confederations (UEFA and CONMEBOL) are always very tough. Everytime at least one of the stronger sides fail to qualify for the main tournament and this time it is the turn of Italy. Now let's hope that Portugal manages to qualify to the world cup by defeating North Macedonia. I have a lot of respect for the Macedonians, but this is going to be the last tournament for Ronaldo and I don't want him to miss that opportunity.
Italy manager Roberto Mancini was very confident in winning the match against North Macedonia. Fortunately things didn't happen as planned. It was bad luck for Italy and luck turned towards Portugal. Italy was in a compulsion to win the match and they're very sure to win. The team never thought of a second option. This loss once again leaves Italians watching one of the biggest soccer tournament for the straight second time.
2468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto currency Awareness Campaign on: March 26, 2022, 04:03:52 AM
Few years back the sources available to learn about cryptocurrency is very minimal. With time we've got more access to learning about cryptocurrencies as well as the backing technology. Starting from school education it is possible to see education on blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

In the past it is quite rare to see news broadcast about bitcoin. Even if something gets broadcasted it would be something negative about bitcoin. Now international as well as local channels bring to us every news associated with bitcoin. With this people are well aware, but lacks the real knowledge about bitcoin. It is through our forum and other trusted platforms one can get the best.

As in the OP social media, and other forms of campaigning is good. But, in the long run most of such services were focused on money making than providing good knowledge about cryptocurrencies.
2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 26, 2022, 02:15:49 AM
Solana is a good project and it has been growing back as of recent. And I have read a lot of experts analysis on the cryptocurrency and they are all mostly positive. Most of them expect more than two hundred percent (200%) increase in 2025 and even more by 2030. So, the same thing you believe is what a lot of people do believe; that it will continue to grow in the future, as long as the developers continues to work hard to better the platform of Solana.

Although something else I have seen a lot of people complain about this project is its centralized form. But I have heard that they working towards being as decentralized as Ethereum and Bitcoin this year, and let’s hope they make that happen.

For what I know, altcoins come and go as hype shifts away from one project to another. I don't see Solana any different than other altcoins with shiny new features but without any substance to it. The cryptocurrency's price is way below its latest All-time-high so it's hard to tell if it'll have a future or not. Competition in the smart contracts space is getting fierce every day, but there can only be one winner. And that would be Ethereum as no other alternative can outmatch its level of decentralization and censorship-resistance. Just my thoughts Grin
It is true no other alternative can overcome ethereum in terms of its decentralization, at times gas price will be much discussed. More the competence level, higher will be the innovation. This way we can expect more potential outcomes in the upcoming years. This doesn't want to be Solona, maybe some other blockchain. Altcoins serve to be hype shifts, but this isn't the same with every altcoin. There can be issues, but it needs time to get things settled.

At present condition solona serves better to be a daily usage currency than ethereum due to the gas price. So, things vary between different assets, only time can give the output. Recently krafton have signed a partnership with Solona for developing play to earn crypto games. It have got ability, if not such partnership won't happen.
2470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / CEX ruins the true value of Bitcoin on: March 26, 2022, 01:10:17 AM
At times due to the rules and regulations of certain countries, CEX used to ruin the value of bitcoin. This means these exchanges completely outlaw the reason for which people prefer bitcoin as well as the reason for which bitcoin is being innovated. Coinbase, one among the leading exchange in terms of volume have come up with requirements of recipient information for crypto transfers from users in Canada, Singapore and Japan.

  • For Canada the limit is $1000CAD, fow which it requires the recipient information. This new change comes to effect from April 4, and this change is with regards to the Canada's FINTRAC rules.
  • For Singapore users, for each and every transaction it requires the recipient information along with country of residence. This comes to effect from April 1, change is following the Singaporean regulations.
  • With Japan complete information of the recipient name, address and country of residence is a must. This is according to the English translation of rules established by the Japan Cryptocurrency Trading Association (JVCEA). This will take effect on April 1, said the coinbase.

Recipient Information Required for Crypto Transfers From Users in Canada, Singapore and Japan

We aren't compelled to make use of these exchanges, it is possible to use the non custodial wallets. However this Exchanges might turn to be similar service providers of banks in future while sticking to the rules and regulations.
2471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month of WAR on: March 25, 2022, 07:00:49 AM
  • Russia started to use cryptocurrencies as a way to overcome the sanctions.
Russia, the country, didn't start using cryptocurrency to overcome sanctions.
Some people in Russia started buying bitcoin as the local currency started losing its value. And again some people are starting to use bitcoin as payment to overcome sanctions.
Yes, It is the people of Russia using cryptocurrencies and not the Russian government.

  • Elon Musk made a tweet of holding bitcoin and ethereum, mentioned he won't sell it. This time his tweet didn't made any impact on the market.
"This time" LOL. Musk's impact on the market stopped in early days when he started pump and dumping Doge which I think was a year ago, maybe longer.

Based on this tweet I made the point. Tweet from Elon Musk
2472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / A month of WAR on: March 25, 2022, 03:09:48 AM
A month got over on war between Ukraine and Russia. Here I would like to point out things that happened with bitcoin during this time period.

  • The market was moving around $39k and on the sudden invasion of Russian force into Ukraine the markets crashed close to $35k.
  • Coinbase paid a hacker $250k for saving a billions worth cryptocurrencies. If this has happened the market would've turned downwards further.
  • Western Nations decided to cut off Swift from Russia.
  • Once again eBay came with the plans of accepting bitcoin as payment, but this has been a story for long years.
  • Sanctions made over Russia and this time US asks cryptocurrency exchanges to follow the same rules of sanctions. The same is being requested by the Ukraine Vice Prime Minister.
  • Russian people started to use cryptocurrencies as a way to overcome the sanctions.
  • Visa and MasterCard stopped their services in Russia.
  • Women's Day event took place around the globe with different surveys detailed the increase of women into cryptocurrency.
  • Biden Signed the Crypto executive order which made the market progress to small extent.
  • A bitcoin address holding 489BTC got active after a 11.4 years.
  • Elon Musk made a tweet of holding bitcoin and ethereum, mentioned he won't sell it. This time his tweet didn't made any impact on the market.
  • Official announcement on receiving donation in terms of cryptocurrencies were posted by Ukraine Government. Until now more than $65million received.
  • Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the law to officially legalize cryptocurrency.
  • Crypto.com is now an official sponsor for the FIFA.

Even more incidents took place during the same time period. If something to be added please post it, I'll add to the list.
2473  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - 🦉 DRAKE x STAKE 🥩 - Watford FC & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 25, 2022, 01:56:46 AM
Stake is proud to team up with our partner @Drake to donate $1m to the @KingJames I Promise School ♥

While many gambling websites offer free spins and other related free gambling benefits, I think Stake is the only gambling website that actually donates to a certain cause, which creates an image that they do indeed care for other people. While every business may be viewed as primarily for profit only, the fact that Stake made a move towards education means that they value education greatly.

I just hope that more gambling websites follow this move done by their fellow competitor. Not only does this benefit the image of Stake in the long-run but it also benefits the society as a whole in creating an educated youth for the future.
When education is provided automatically a person will find a way for his life. When someone is out of poverty he'll think of survival. But he never minds what he does for survival. This mostly lands young people into crime. When education is provided, even if he's in poverty he'll find the right way for survival. What Stake have been doing is a big life changing thing for more people. It is a big thing to have Drake on Stake.
2474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Portsmouth, Bitcoin City on: March 25, 2022, 01:50:58 AM
This isn't gonna make a big change positive/negative among the population of Portsmouth. The Mayor have clearly said, the management have studied well about the cryptocurrencies and the technology that can make big changes in the future.

The government have prepared themselves and have decided to provide more payment choice to its people and nothing big. Also in his statement he has mentioned that the payment received in terms of bitcoin for any services will be converted to US dollar instantly. So, it is just a payment gateway and nothing big for now.
2475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras to declare Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: March 24, 2022, 11:59:13 PM
The BCH (Central Bank of Honduras), in light of the circulating rumours of BTC becoming legal tender in the country, has made a press release stating essentially that, under the current laws of the country, BTC is not being considered to become legal tender in the country. Moreover, they state that they are considering creating their own CBCD.

In most countries CBDC is getting developed. Malaysia is on the list. Yesterday there were news citing Malaysia will be the next to consider bitcoin legal tender. Today the finance minister have given statement on it. Malaysia is not going to consider bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as legal tender considering its limitations. The limitations mentioned were the security concern and the volatility of the market.

Malaysia is not gonna follow El Salvador and the country is part of the Project Dunbar. The project is testing central banks digital currencies (CDBC).

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the South African Reserve Bank (the Bank) were part of the project. It aims in improving cross border payments through digital currencies making transactions cheaper, faster and secure.
2476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian head of the committee on Energy about selling oil and gas in Bitcoin on: March 24, 2022, 06:35:10 PM
This news isn't confirmed. Someone from Russia needs to give the clear translation. In some news it is mentioned that if some country prefer to pay in bitcoin, then Russia is ready for that. If this is a rumour then we can see the market getting disturbed in the coming days. The price crossing $44k is connected with the video interview going viral on Twitter. One of the article which I read gave this as the interview statement meaning from Chairman of the Committee on Energy in Russia, Pavel Zavalny.

2477  Economy / Economics / Re: Thailand ban using crypto for payments on: March 23, 2022, 12:00:25 PM
CBDCs never serve as a threat to the adoption of cryptocurrencies. As more people are getting into the cryptocurrency usage it isn't possible to restrict people from using bitcoin with mere ban. Whether it is Nigeria, China, Thailand or some other country people continue to use even after ban. People once used to cryptocurrency will never think of CBDC which is a digital form of having control over ones finance.
2478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 23, 2022, 07:45:43 AM

You are right. The pitch is a batting pitch. And 391 runs on such a pitch is not enough. Pakistan lost their first wicket by just 20 runs. And till today they have collected 152 runs so far without losing any other wickets.
Abdullah Shafique is unbeaten on 75 and Azhar Ali is on 56. And their striker rate is less than 40. They are batting very well. Since today is the third day and looking at Pakistan's batting style, it looks like they will be able to bat all day today. So the match is most likely to be a draw.

It's very much likely that this match will end in a draw and series will end in a happy note for Pakistan i.e. they remain unbeaten at there home by mighty Aussies. One good thing that comes out from this series is Opener batsmen Shafique. He is playing consistently and scoring runs unlike the nepotism based opener Imam.
The final and third test match is going to be a draw. Australia managed to score good, but Pakistan on the other side makes a much better start than Australia. In this match Smith has now become the record holder for most runs after 150 Test innings with 7993 runs. Previously this records were with Sachin Tendulkar and Sangakkara.
2479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Largest Slots Win in Washington State History on: March 23, 2022, 07:30:00 AM
Using $5/spin? Hell, no.
That is too much for me. I'd rather use $0.5/spin or lower as that is the amount I can use to bet.
Even if I have a girlfriend supporting me to bet high, I will still not use $5/spins.
That will cost more than $100 to win big like him and the chance for others is not too big.
I can not imagine how he felt before he won that big money.
Even he could've felt the same as we people. $5 is something big. Finally the winning has made his name added in history. If he had made spins with $0.5 we might not be discussing about his win. Just because he dare to spend he was able to be the largest slot winner. Once again it is proven, whether it is on machine or in an online casino the luckiest will profit.

MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa to debut car racing this year. Spaniard Honda rider with one time 125cc title, two 250cc title and a three time MotoGP runner-up is to compete in a three-round campaign in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe. Once after retiring from MotoGP he served as official test rider for KTM.

Pedrosa will share the team’s Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2 with experienced sportscar driver Antonin Borga at Imola, Misano and the Algarve International Circuit.

“I'm very happy to start this new adventure with Lamborghini and the FFF Racing Team,” Pedrosa said.

That's an interesting move from a MotoGP ride towards four wheel ride.
