1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 15, 2022, 11:51:29 PM
I was more interested and wanted to know about cricket relations between CAN and BCCI, not political party stuff.
~~~
As far as I know, BCCI hasn't sent any teams (A, U-19, U-23, first class) to Nepal in the last two decades or so. Cricket relations are practically inexistent. The same can be said about the other neighbors, such as Bhutan, Maldives, China and Myanmar. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was setup to grow cricket in countries such as Nepal and Malaysia, but gradually it got hijacked by the gulf states such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. When Srinivasan was in power, there were demands from the ICC to disband ACC, but some of the members opposed (esp. PCB) and this step was abandoned.
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/new-zealand-in-india-2016/top-stories/acc-asia-cup-future-under-cloud/articleshow/35662963.cms
This is the tragedy that cricket Is completely controlled by politics and their extremist leaders,  similarly Pakistan have always been targeted and left out because of this BCCI and Indian politics.  The world cup next year is planned to be held in pakistan and BCCI jey Shah straightaway rejected that and said India cannot come to Pakistan as matched should be held at neutral venue .
India has alot of political and economic benefits from Afghanistan and that's clear from their behaviour towards Afghanistan, even their players participate in IPL.
Maybe for some reasons BCCI has expressed such words but hopefully they will come back from there. If Pakistan is able to fulfill the requirements given by the ICC then there will have no problem for anyone to play. Moreover, BCCI cannot do any prejudiced act. If there is a security issue it can also be resolved through negotiation. Hopefully all such things will be resolved before the next World Cup.
Alot of teams came to Pakistan for their tours and went back safely and their security was kept up to the mark. England I'd coming to Pakistan in December again for test cricket so obviously safety and security reasons are not true . Yes unfortunately India Pakistan politics is like this since their independence intolerance and politics choas has always been there.
Yes we hope that India change it's decision and ICC shouldn't change its decision under pressure of BCCI as we all know BCCI has strong hold on ICC decisions.
ICC will never agree to any unreasonable demands of BCCI. It doesn't matter how the contribution of BCCI in ICC. The ICC will never biased on the basis of diplomatic antagonism between two countries.If it is done, it may have various questions about that organization. Since England is willing to play and also if other countries are willing in the same way then BCCI will come to play. I have already said that if India raises any logical claim against it then it must be reviewed.
Their main concern is security reasons as they think their life is in danger if they'll come to play world cup in Pakistan. And yes we all hope that ICC should come with a transparent and fair solution to all BCCI concerns.
Basically extremist political parties in India BJP are also source of concern for cricket boards.
I don't think BCCI will comeback with a positive thought to play cricket in Pakistan. Even if Pakistan assure of making the best arrangements India will BCCI will surely deny it requesting for neutral venue. If not, surely they'll not participate. Because, for the ruling party India - Pakistan issue is a big politics and keeps fooling the people with hate. If BCCI agree to play in Pakistan, it'll differ from their agenda.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Black Friday Online Casino Bonuses 2022 on: November 15, 2022, 10:34:28 PM
if the bonus offered is large enough it doesn't hurt to take it but of course it is necessary to look at the rating of the casino site before we make a deposit because it is important not to lose money and be too rash in making decisions because of the bonus and end up losing money, I might take the bonus big and move to another casino that offers that bonus but that doesn't mean leaving the previous casino too, who knows the bonus will bring good luck to me
One should understand well about the bonus and keep playing. As said, bonuses too could be a trap. Just because some platform is providing special promotion and bonuses should not make deposits without analysing its operation. Always find the platform with good reputation. Bonus is just a way to keep the gamblers happy even while facing losses. On special events receiving bonuses will let gamblers play and have fun than just watching others bets.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Reduce Gambling Related Issues Like Suicide etc? on: November 15, 2022, 09:34:43 PM
Kids were taught about good touch and bad touch to keep themselves from harassment. This is a measure followed all around the world as a way to educate as well as a precautionary measure. Through the learning provided big change is experienced all around the world. The same could apply for gambling.
At certain age the younger generation needs to be taught about the consequences of gambling. It shouldn't be taught as like a big crime. It need to be taught in such a way to have limits and even if something have happened worse they should have the mind to share with friends and family. This could make them stay away from the thoughts of suicide and other forms of self harming.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shell, enters Bitcoin mining and sponsors Bitcoin conferences on: November 15, 2022, 09:21:28 PM
This is pure business. Now specific coolants/lubricants from Shell is a way to have their business on cryptocurrency sector. Sponsoring the Bitcoin conferences makes its solid presence into bitcoin. The magazine gives a business connect and slowly the involvement will widen. Being a giant in the oil industry will surely try to capitalise at the right time.
In recent days the energy companies participation into cryptocurrency related activities have increased. Shell have reached late to the party. Many oil companies have called crypto miners to create mining infrastructure close to the plants with which it is possible to support mining out of the excess oil.
1545  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: November 15, 2022, 09:11:11 PM
I don't think bitcoin's popularity has made all stock investors switch to crypto investing instead of sticking with stock investing. It may be true that some stock investors have turned to crypto investing due to its increasing popularity, but not for all of them. For anyone who thinks crypto investing is high risk, they probably won't invest immediately, especially for those who don't like high risk investments.
Bitcoin investments do not guarantee returns in x years for x dollars. But the price volatility has provided good profit for the investors, but not a few have lost because of it.
Investing on cryptocurrencies have increased and this hasn't happened as a switching from stock investment to cryptocurrency. People have considered it as one more form of investment. Particularly middle class people have begun to prioritise against other forms of investment considering its growth, though it is high risk.
Volatility too big reason for people showing interest on cryptocurrency investment, because the volatility helps them get into trading practice which too could help them with profit. People find investment on cryptocurrencies to be much easier than investing on stocks which is also a reason for increasing interest over cryptocurrency investment.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinion on casinos that don't have ANN threads in the forum? on: November 14, 2022, 06:17:32 AM
My opinion, having an announcement thread makes the platform more trusted against the other Casinos that doesn't have announcement thread. Some form of discussion happening on the announcement thread keeps the thread bumped and this lets users about the existence of such a gambling platform. Maybe with which one can give a try while using his/her favourite ones.
Having a announcement thread is always good and adds value. Some find this to be a spam thread, but that isn't true. Because majority of the gambling sites have communication about the promotions and different events through the announcement thread.
1547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want sell my house for bitcoin on: November 14, 2022, 06:10:40 AM
There are proven real-time incidents in which person sold his house and moved to refugee camp buying Bitcoin with all the money. Here he didn't sold just his house, he sold all his belongings. Real understanding and the life getting connected to bitcoin made him take the decision and he never thought of getting rich out of it. For OP it is a good choice, but needs to understand the market and make further decisions.
Man sells everything he has for Bitcoin
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 14, 2022, 04:23:07 AM
Even with low target Pakistan played well, and it is Ben Stokes who took England towards win. Losing wickets at that position would've made England loss the match. From Pakistan the batting looked good at the start, but when Pakistan started to pick the momentum everything wicket started to fall.
Second time T20 World Cup Champions. Sam Curran did an awesome bowling. Congrats on the big win. Once again it is proven that Ben Stokes used to win matches for England at must win situation. Majority expected Pakistan will win the World Cup.
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins you can invest on. on: November 13, 2022, 11:59:32 PM
Injecting new altcoins into the market takes place, but this doesn't make a big move in the market. Right now decentralised system oriented coins were getting pumped. Particularly Trust Wallet backed TWT, C98, Safepal. This move is out of the recent collapse from the centralized exchanges that have frauded user funds.
We don't know how long the bullish rally of these coins takes place against the bearish trend of the market. The growth these coins have attained over the past two days were really big and a happy news for its holders.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian authority freezes a whole lot of bitcoin in respect of defrauding on: November 13, 2022, 10:59:25 PM
Based on the source it is mentioned that atleast 300 accounts used for the money laundering. The exchange connected is found to be Binance. Already through wazirx some awful incidents took place and caught during inspection. Once again similar incident keeps people under fluctuation on its usage. This year crypto hack is found to be high and calculated as more than $3billion.
In a country where there is no proper regulation and the people using it for money laundering and illegal transactions shows how bitcoin is used in the opposite way.
1551  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 12, 2022, 11:54:28 PM
How long do you think it will take for paper money to be phased out for good? Will CBDCs be able to replace not only paper money but also credit/debit cards? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
No matter how far we would progress out but still paper fiat would really be still on existence and as long government exist then they wont really be letting these things to happen along the way.
We cant really deny the fact that fiat do really plays out a major role.It might be having its cons but lets just not set aside when it comes to its pros and benefits.
Paper money could be printed out but of course it would really be on a constraint or controlled manner which we know that inflation could really be an inevitable thing.
No matter how CBDC's would be that rampant in near future but still its hard to believe that fiat would really wiped out from existence.
And if ever it could really be phased out by chance, then it will take another long years before paper money will completely vanish and everything will be dependent on digital currency. But I believe as long as the government and central bank both exist, paper money will always serve as the main currency, and CBDCs will definitely be an option from the existing paper money.
Agreed, government wants control over the funds. This is possible through paper money and CBDC. For this reason, the governments will continue to make use of paper money and consider CBDC an alternate. Complete injection of bitcoin won't happen anytime. Maybe the Market will coexist understanding the increasing demand among the common people against the usage of traditional fiat.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 12, 2022, 11:17:14 PM
~
England's batting line-up is very strong. They don't depend on the performance of certain batsmen like Pakistan. Every player in the team is batting very well. On the other hand, Pakistan's bowlers are in good form in this World Cup. So now it becomes very difficult to predict which team will win the title in this match. But in Pakistan, if the bowlers do not perform well in the final, then their chances of winning are very low. I would say the outcome of this match will depend on the performance of Pakistani bowlers.
England have a strong batting line up and so does Pakistan as they have a good top order and their bowlers are in good form and they can defend any decent total. England might have the advantage in terms of their batting strength but i do think that toss will be an important factor as the team chasing would have the advantage considering the weather. I do think that toss would be an important factor in the final.
England's batting lineup is strong no doubt, but their top order is the main strength. On the other hand, Pakistan's bowling is currently quite strong and they have the ability to stop England's top order. But Pakistan's weakness is the slow batting of their opening batsmen which creates the effect of being bad throughout the innings. Apart from the match against New Zealand, Pakistan's opening batsmen have struggled in this World Cup.
So I think all things considered England's chances of winning tomorrow's final match are high.
England's batting line-up is good, but we need to know the same couldn't be happening all the time. If a break in partnership is possible at the beginning, then surely the batting will slow down. Just think of the match against Ireland. In tomorrow's match toss will have much importance, however this is gonna be a win for Pakistan according to me.
1554  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX has been hacked, delete the app, don't go to website on: November 12, 2022, 10:54:32 PM
People on twitter are saying that Sam has been spotted speaking with authorities as of a couple hours ago. It seems like he may actually end up in jail. When you think about how he was donating so much money now it doesn’t make him seem like such a great guy. I don’t know what laws he broke exactly, but losing billions of dollars of other people’s money doesn’t make him seem as altruistic as he was being presented a few weeks ago.
He's a person who have been donating a big part to the needy people. He lived simple lifestyle living in a shared appartment. He's portrayed as one among the best person in the cryptospace for what he have done to the community. Now this have changed completely and people are feeling bad. More than $600 million worth cryptocurrency have got hacked and transferred. No one is clear about the incident that happened with FTX.
1555  Economy / Economics / Re: Want to live in a van down by the river? Ford has a new vehicle for that on: November 11, 2022, 10:39:14 PM
Initially van life used to be seen very rarely. Now this have turned to be a trend. Ford have well understood the need and the trend lunching a special vehicle for the same. It is possible to see a good list of videos in which people custom their old vehicles for van life with complete interior works. Now with the new vehicle things will be easier as everything is already planned and structured, just the interior based on convenience needs to be done.
The growing interest rate leading to the increased spending on home rents too a reason for people moving into van life. I see the advantage of van life as a way to get closer to the world, which means we'll able to learn more and interact with different communities than sticking to the same set of people around us. I don't know how good this would be in the long run, but this is quite good for people like me who is interested in travelling.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lebanese Adopt Bitcoin Over their Fiat. on: November 10, 2022, 11:53:56 PM
Lebanon being a country with population around 7 million won't make big impact over the market of bitcoin. However this will have a big change among the common people who have been struggling out of the inflation. Amidst the ban from the government, people taking adequate measures to use cryptocurrency show how hard inflation have disturbed their living.
Lebanon is composed of ethnic groups and this will surely help with the successful spreading about the adoption within the people. Soon we can expect good growth from Lebanon through bitcoin.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 09, 2022, 11:45:43 PM
With a 7-wicket victory over New Zealand, the Pakistan Cricket Team has earned a spot in the World Cup finals for 2022. The Pakistani batsmen handily defeated the New Zealanders. The 85-ball, 110-run partnership between Babur Azam and Mohammad Rezwan was crucial to this team's victory. Later, Pakistan's victory was sealed by Haris' 30 runs in 26 balls. Harris was struck out in the 19th over, though. Pakistan did, however, win the match in 19.1 overs. Pakistan will undoubtedly be anticipating the England vs. India game. Whichever team wins the last game between England and India will face Pakistan.
To me it is Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan that took the match towards win. If New Zealand have set a target around 180 runs there could've been additional pressure that struggles Pakistan. In the match Pakistan was good in the field, whereas New Zealand was with full of misfield and drops. If not this match could've gone even closer.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 08, 2022, 11:32:15 PM
Gambling ads doesn't make big impact over a gambler. Because, whatever the ad might be, everything will have similar content. So it won't be that interesting or makes us into it. Why we get back to gambling when we have plans to stop it. This is the failure to control our minds as well as the emotions that push us to give a try.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 270 dollar in roullete plan on revenge on: November 08, 2022, 11:28:03 PM
Everytime you can't be lucky and gambling is not a place where you can take revenge. It is a place where you need to be calm controlling your emotions. I feel OP is lucky, because the casino has got closed. If not he could've lost everything he withdrew from the bank account to defeat the casino. Emotions easily make us end our gambling activities. Debt is a big thing out of gambling and this happens out of similar thoughts.
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency? on: November 07, 2022, 11:46:25 PM
One among the old cryptocurrency and much expected one. For some reason it lacks. Particularly there is no proper support system to push it forward. However it is one among the cryptocurrency that have got increased acceptance in different stores and needs. Litecoin is expected to bounce high, but it is trailing behind the expectation. Once a competence asset to ethereum now moves in a much slower way.
