Does anyone have rigs built with nVidia cards ? Which model/manufacturer is the best one?
Thanks
I tend to prefer EVGA 1070s. The SC one with backplate and single 8 pin power plug. YMMV

it was good to mine at the beginning to accumulate and speculate, the price went 10k, at the beginning the reward was much higher, was 7 time higher
also volume oon exchange mean shit, you can easily sell privately here, i did it many tiem in the past, but obviously you don't know this
It doesn't matter how much the 'coins' are worth. If you mine more then a coin has volume you essentially destroy the coin. This is completely putting aside, what JUST YOU mine. You should at the most be 30% of the volume... even then it wont work. That's just what you're mining and dumping, not normal trading. Volume is essential to hold up a coin and shows the coins ability to be mined and survive or it gets burned to the ground by miners. Maybe for a brand new coin that's struggling to get on the market a handful of trades will happen in private messages, but otherwise that doesn't happen in any regularity or in any surmountable amount of volume, no one is going to buy that bullshit dude. Oh and in the beginning it had at MOST 2BTC of volume. That includes the dumping and the pumping and the bag holders, not just miners. It was never worth mining. While I may agree with part of what you said, it was well worth mining at the beginning. I did at least 10x the standard mining profits for about a week. People to whom I sold my coins also did profit from them, if they sold it or are selling them now.

is this a poloniex specific thing or is this some kinda fork?.............. will we ever get the coins that we deposited days ago that went poof into thin air ?
My XCN are over 2 years old and the transaction to polo has over 2000 confirmations, if yours are recently mined with similar confirms then I doubt it's the blockchain. Might have something to do with the block explorer being down if they use that. poloniex said they have an issue and are fixing it.

Looks like "as soon as possible" means "more than 2 days".

We all know that there is new miner sw, so why not sell that new miner and collect those 3BTC?
Is there a bounty for the optimised miner? Nvidia or amd?

Anybody mining Thor's Riddle algo for Veltor ? Are we able to mine it? thx
I see it's sib algo.
it's not really sib, i tried with sib and it was not working, there was a version of epsylon that was able to mine it, maybe you can with 1.8.3 The original ccminer had sib replaced by Veltor algo. They both contain streebog into their chain, but are indeed different. Recent tpruvot cccminer supports both.

So apparently poloniex is not getting deposits on XCN? Is anyone else having this problem? I submitted a couple tickets but not fix as of yet.
I'm waiting for them to fix it as well. Don't want to mess with those other exchanges like bter and btc38 so I think I'll wait.

Looks like poloniex is on another chain, are you guys able to deposit there?

Yeah there must be something, I've tried using 1gh for a while and didn't get those coins ad well!

Didn't get any payment since 7am, is it all right?

Beware of Yobit: one of my ESP withdrawals got stuck because of "Cold storage retrieve", after a week it's still blocked and they even deleted my support ticket about it.

@pallas - hello - I appear to be successful in compiling the miner on Windows until I get to the very end - it gives the following error:
Error 29 error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'pthread.h': No such file or directory 13 1 ccminer
Do you know what this is caused by?
Thanks - pokeytex
Not sure about windows but maybe something like this might help: http://sourceware.org/pthreads-win32/It is just a bunch of files - where do you drop them to have Visual Studio recognize your path in miner.h? Never used visual studio in my life, sorry. But any ccminer compiling tutorial for windows should help.

pallas is rightly mining it before everyone else, to overcome the lack of donation, everyone would do it if it was in his position
this si currently the most profitable
one 1070 at 30MH can do around 800k satoshi, so almost $5 per day, releasing the last version would kill this profit
Pretty true (except the hashrate which is 35 Mh/s now), thanks. wow 35, that is even better, so the true potential for pascal is still hiding somewhere in the future code and this is around 0.01 per 1070 every day, very high profit Well the 980ti can do more than 30 and the 970 22.

All someone with any common sense from the coin dev side would do is to post the configuration file for the SGminer that supposedly works for AMD cards. None of the miners work. I read through this entire ANN and not a single person helped anyone set up an AMD miner here. No reason someone couldn't post a simple config file here. It's not a secret, only to the hoarders if there really are any. That tells me this is a complete scam. Avoid at all costs.
My miner is working fine on amd and nvidia cards. Post your configuration and we will help you fixing it.

I have made significant profits with : - mining coins which are not publicly visible on whattomine or others comparometers : especially those which have no pools yet or not been listed on market place yet. - mining coins which have good chance to see a significant increase in price and waiting the rise to sell
yes, i had my good days too. but the quote should go to "How will your luck or vision change your income"... itīs not related to the 1070 In fact it's not: it's about trading. You could well buy those coins instead of mining. Mining is about fun and efficiency.
