Went almost 100% on a shitcoin in 2016 that caused me to basically start over. Bounced back in 2017 by creating online businesses and went high allocation on bitcoin.
While I would've been in a far better place today if I didn't mess up in 2016 (still haunts me a bit, not gonna lie), there's nothing for me to do than to accept that huge loss as an expensive lesson and just move on.
and those lessons can be shared with anyone in here, and this little bit out of topic what online businesses you do right know? Im currently depends on signature campaign only. It pay my bills and only couple dollar left to spend  that's why I want to try something else I think when I stopped in college and can no longer pay the tuition and can't even get a students loan. I am at that point of time that I went outside the church, sitted down and just cried and telling to the air that I still want to pursue my studies.
Well, it's also due to my recklessness when I was younger and that's why I have to come up to that point of life because I didn't became serious at first when we're living well not until, my parents financial status crashed.

damn I need to hear all your story guys. anyway I will tell you mine but I'm still at the stage of recovery. I'm still living with my parent and my monthly cost is around 100$ this is not the lowest point of my life but still it happen recently. I got fired on my previous work when the covid 19 came. And then Im struggle find a new job I have been tried but still none i think it because I have lack of skill and then i browse Bitcointalk and found a coin called Idena that basically pays you for resolving captcha after that I life monthly basis using money that i get from Idena. After that I do bounty like I'm doing right know and there is a token called ETNA and I got paid around 1500$ that huge, especially for signature campaign. and I'm starting to look other alternatives the year is 2021 when crypto reach bullish, Im doing all in to some of private sale ventures and ICO and yes it give me a huge money till Crypto crash coming on Q1 2022. and that's is my fault I think investing in new project always give u a dozen profit but when there crypto winter like this all is vanished and nothing all my invested money turn into dust and here I am but like @mk4 this could be huge lesson for other |

Mt Gox was deemed the safest in 2013. So many forum posts here saying so and even recommendations. Same was said about FTX, big stars came on TV ads and told everyone it was the best and the bomb. Now a lot of people say Binance but they have been hacked before, no reason to think they'll never be hacked again..
There will never be a safe exchange, DEX or CEX. But you can always limit your risk by not keeping crypto on exchanges if you don't want to trade them.
Hard to believe but it is true. the current doomed CeX "FTX" is hype all over the place the ads is everywhere their futures product is massive bunch of token and coin. but still they ended up like this In my opinion there is no system is SAFE, just use centralized as simple as possible like trade and withdraw not for long term |

I just thought that paid service like LastPass have better security than free service password manager. But money is not going away, they are actually printing more of it and right now the "capital" is too scared to jump into bitcoin.
When the inflation+recession growth stops, things could go back to normal and bitcoin would go up again.
Keep in mind that governments have been printing money like maniacs that has and will crash fiat's value which would only contribute to bitcoin price rise.

I don't like the idea of a piece of paper even as that could be misplaced anytime, not even when you've got it in a wallet as that's a target for pickpockets. Probably, a book would be nice. I've read from some people who even gets to translate there seed into there local dialect and perhaps starts from a reverse side in its understanding. Perhaps you could use a different mixup entirely but what you can easily understand and others won't. That seed phrase is actually a bait for you to send some amount of crypto that will serve as a transaction fee for a script that automatically removes it's balance LOL I actually have seen this on couple of telegram group channel. Usually scammer send the full of crypto seed and ask for help how to transfer money. (* scammer usually using fake token with add liquidity so they can fool trust wallet system make it look very real ) And of course someone will actually pick it up, add some bnb and auto transfer it beware Yall |

I can not because of funding rate go for a particular position. If you make profit in trading, likely the direction taken will not be favoured. Or is that not true?
I have not known if a funding rate would be represented with a positive sign or negative sign where it is counting down, but what I still only think is that long will pay shot when most traders go long which result to perpetual price to be higher than the spot price, while if it is other way and most traders go short, short position traders will pay long position traders.
First things first you need take a look the coin with high funding fee rate, and i see that you are using binance right? Go to this https://www.binance.com/en/futures/funding-history/0And then start to pick a coin with high funding rate whether at minus position or plus position usually trader use the funding rate to know the long and short ratio high (+) mean so much trader take a long position high (-) mean so much trader take a short position After u pick the high funding rate watch the candle and switch lower timeframe 1 minute or 5 minute if funding (+) whale will be take short position and the price will go down for about 30 minutes before countdown, you take short position and then usually you will get profit from your position and after that place stoploss @ the above initial price vice versa After countdown you will get funding fee @ history tab and the price will continue @ normal stage |

Good point, but before you guys start as "HODLER" better to watch with crypto you hold with I mean, just set a goal if you'd like to get out at some point, and just don't price watch. Set up an alert at the price point you'd like to take some or all of your Bitcoin out, and don't watch the price in the mean time. You don't have to be actively using Bitcoin to hold it, and that's the beauty. You can practically remove most of the emotional risks by just not watching the price.
I don't think I'm a die hard holder or anything, but I barely look at the price. I mostly get my price information from what users post here, rather than go out of my way to look for it. I'm simply not bothered by the current price of Bitcoin.
This is the definition of true HODLER, just buy send to cold wallet and forget it. People like me cant be the true hold since im watch everyday where the price is going it kills me slowly when watch porto at red position.
other tips you can actually make a good money by holder some crypto like eth, or cardano or bnb by staking it and use your money as collateral so it locked up withdraw when coin touch new ATH |

What is the problem with making this forum to be a source of extra income? Nothing wrong with this as long as you don't rely on the forum for your monthly income. You can't deny that many people got money from any campaigns or services in this forum. It is real, not an illusion. Theymos never forbids forum members to earn money in this forum.
I do agree with you, since the OP said you earn money by selling our services right? In fact there is sub forum dedicated to selling stuff to earn money. In early days of Bitcoin when people have no knowledge about Bitcoin they only use bitcointalk to communicate with Satoshi and many other user to know about Bitcoin and it's usecase.
But now many user use bitcointalk for knowing about Bitcoin too but also for source of earning, in bitcointalk you can earn through different ways like participating in project bounties as well a if you have higher rank then you can participate in signature campaign through which you can earn passive income. While the third and last way to earn is selling your service like writing article, translation, design signature for different projects and also managing project bounties and signature campaign etc.

If you are trading is high risk job your analytic can 100% always true but if you good at it you can still make decent profit, if you are futures trading loss is inevitable so I don't do recommended that. Trade spot only is way better and keep your emotion stable since this is one greatest of enemy when it comes to trade

Don’t DEX also check IPs to make sure you are not accessing from a restricted region. Saw a video somewhere where someone in the US tried to access some DEX and they were restricted due to having a US IP. So the DEX also knows the IP address it seems.
Use VPN to discover your IP or tor browser some kind of VPN provider out there using obfuscated VPN. metamask is used widely on a couple of DeFi and this one EVM compatible chain. so you can directly move to other chains just adding a couple of information. and yes there is actually bunch of DeFi platform that doesn't allow US people to access their website because of regulation, you can usually find it on platforms that offer initial coin offering or usually called Intial Dex Offering on DeFi I'm not expert on DeFi but I know almost anything , hit me up on telegram if you have other question : @dansus021 |

You should add a free trial period of sorts if possible. Trying out and subscribing for a brand-new product that one is not sure of the outcomes is quite tricky
Also, let us know when you added support for exchanges. Am not a fan of copy trading, but sometimes I like to try out new things

and I'm curious is your platform do direct trading in our exchange or they only send some kind of signal I think it's risky to connect our API to an unknown or newly created website even if they are going to give a free trial I can't trust them anytime they can able to send API without our consent.
@Traderboard I suggest building trust first here since your service involves money and new we do not know how safe your service is. You can try to start by hiring a campaign manager and promote it here on the forum through the signature campaign with escrowed funds.

Only whale trader can farm funding fee since it’s just a small percentage and almost negligible to a small margin amount. Whales with huge fund and using high multiplier can benefit on this funding rate but it incorporates some risk since he is betting against the momentum of trade. There’s a chance that price go in different direction to his position that will cause him huge loss.
The only to benefit on funding rate is to timing your position when during the trend is already shifting in the 8 hours window. I saw this technique on one of the member on our local board.

No : since we are trading in futures derivatives small trader can hit the leverage to maximum the exchange allowed although is very risky I have tried this Fund Fee farming a couple of times I usually start to know the price start to against direction when timing -20 Minutes before countdown of funding fee begin. I usually using 20-30$ with x30 leverage and put stop loss above my initial price. |

All starts on having a lots of money because you cant really make a move if you dont have money which is really a fact.Therefore, you do still need to do lots of hardwork and lots of saving up some money
but due to some circumstances where spending or simply expenses soars up high plus having those unexpected happenings or events in life which ending up for you to spend more then it is really
delaying on things that you are trying to achieve on.This is something that we cant really be able to avoid unless if you do have some big inheritance from your parents or something

Yes, yes you are really hit that, the true of life is. especially when you get unexpected things that need a lot of money. and if you live on sandwich generation that have to pay your parent living is make even getting crazy right hahah. When you're already know getting a well payed job is really hard with your current condition, why you're not upgrading your skill and only make a wish to get a better job? that's the main problem.
This mean when you're not satisfy with your current payment and looking for new or another job, you wouldn't make much money. But if you have a good skills and knowledge, people who're looking for your skills will try to find you and offer a good payment.
Im person that needs people who can teach me directly to be honest. i still can learn from online though but when face a problem i can make the things right. but i have some kind of dream to become youtube content creator and earn from it, and I already make the youtube even tho is very small channel and has only 450 people on it. i want this happen and till this date i still upload a video day by day |
