1541  Economy / Services / Re: can i develop and sell website online stores here? on: May 26, 2023, 02:23:57 AM
Yes you can sell it here or you can sell your service at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 Service Board and then maybe you can show some of your portfolio to gain customers.
Because like ognast said that you lack of feedback and your account still new that is why you need provide a portfolio

1542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: May 26, 2023, 02:20:34 AM
One time for sure is that the price today can manage close above 100 EMA meaning is like mid-trend for bull at 26K. So it is the bull run near I would say the bear is near to end.

and according to coin glass like what taufik123 said

We might see mini bull run maybe can close above 30K level at July

1544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: May 25, 2023, 12:33:21 AM
Is less than 1 Year but i would consider this as one year  Grin. Anyway I am gonna share my opinion usually Binance will crazily bull after 6-12 month after halving or I would say this would touch New All Time High.

But at the moment halving there is big possibility that bitcoin price is already in the bull market but I think it is not late to buy. October - November of 2024 might become the craziest year of 2024
according to the Coinglass

1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token/Coins pegged to real goods - Negative prices on: May 25, 2023, 12:20:05 AM

Yes, they can!

It's possible for every commodity to go negative, basically you are forced to take it which involves cost but there is simply no demand for it so you end up paying for worthless stuff, for wheat and for other cereals it's harder because the cost is quite low and both US and Eu have enormous cheap storage capacities, but for other countries during harvest season prices are going so low an overproduction could make them just leave the fields like it is. Remember how farmers used to dump milk in the sewer because there is no demand for it?

Thanks stompix for this information this is new to me. Question so if this happens on the market with negative prices what gonna happen, is it possible the minus value even bigger than your showed images?

Back to the thread if commodity can go negative price can tokenized crypto can go minus aswell? The Centralized EXchange with perpetual futures can do that but I don't know on regular market basis
1546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price motivation benchmark: on: May 24, 2023, 01:35:34 AM
I would say you are bitcoin maximalist hehehe there is a lot of user like you who only invest in bitcoin only and are focused on long term. is it good too if you continue DCA the bitcoin.

But are you really didn't want to taste the volatility of altcoin? I know that some of altcoin is pump and dump scheme but there is good coin like ETH or BNB and ADA
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token/Coins pegged to real goods - Negative prices on: May 24, 2023, 01:16:31 AM
the question is can wheat and electricity have a negative price? and what do u mean by negative price.

The token can be pegged to everything I would say from stock to commodity it basically almost the same instrument that uses candlestick too hahaha. Right now there is dozen of Pegged to real world things like USD, EUR, CNY, IDR and commodity like gold and silver.
1548  Economy / Economics / Re: US Debt Default: Good or bad for crypto? on: May 24, 2023, 01:10:28 AM
there is a thread that discussed about this event https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5453021.0 and pretty much all over the internet is talk about this.

and what you said its pretty much true if the US really going to default which currently is very very thin margin to be honest hahaha. the stock market and pretty much everyone else will collapse for couple of day or even month until US figure it out.

Even tho country like BRICS and ASEAN says on the news that they will be using less and less US Dollar but it is still at the phase of paper/development and has not been realised yet, so the worst scenario when US is Default it would be huge hit to the rest of the world.

Is it bad for crypto maybe for the beginning it would hit crypto market too but after this happen I would say the adoption of crypto will pretty much higher than ever that can drive the price to the moon
1549  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US default a reality? on: May 24, 2023, 01:05:43 AM
One thing is sure that they are not going to default especially on this time, they would probably will raise the debt ceiling like the usually happen. In the other hand US is big country with number one in military and economic and default is not their option right now. The Congress might already think about it.

1553  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation in the world grow by 2023? on: May 23, 2023, 12:42:10 AM
We are not gonna know it for sure but here in my country Indonesia it seem the inflation spikes is comes to an end. Maybe Country in developing country or third world country only has two option they following US and collapse or their economic slowy recovery and stand out.

1554  Economy / Economics / Re: When will we stop living for the weekend? Escaping the 9-5 life. on: May 23, 2023, 12:39:37 AM
only could stop once we become financial independent but generally for someone that works 9-5 that would never happen.
mainly because the wage aren't sufficient enough in building financial to be free from working, heck even for daily needs it hardly sufficient.
moreover, you'd be too busy that you can't do some business in your free time, quite literally you are putting so much focus on something that don't even give you good money.
the only way is you invested in stocks and cryptocurrency but then again will the returns will be that much? maybe starting new business from scratch and resigning is some other way need to be considered.

I actually agree with you it is hard to start our own business and we actually need capital and lot of thing including knowledge. Resigned from 9-5 job is risky too if we don't have money.

Sometimes Im just like OP but the difference is Im not work 9-5 but full time crypto but the hurt truth is the salary sometimes is not enough to do enjoy life
1555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Hotbit stops operation on: May 23, 2023, 12:35:10 AM
1 month is too short, not everyone will be able to withdraw... but perhaps that's what they wanted. It's possible they don't have enough funds to cover everything mainly due to the frozen assets from last year which they haven't gotten back.

!remind me to check back few days after to see if people are experiencing issues when trying to get their funds out.

I actually had the same feeling the last Exchanges shutdown is qtrade.io you guys might never hear of it, but they give more than a month At least 6 month if I don't mistaken and if we look at the site https://qtrade.io/ we can still email them to withdraw our money.

Their operation is in China the amount of freeze amount might not yet be recovered.

and Last is this, it seems BTC, USDT and ETH Withdraw button has been disabled

1556  Economy / Economics / Re: Not all banks are going bust. on: May 23, 2023, 12:27:30 AM
Yes it is not all bank are going to bust in fact the bank has been act as a key for the economy for the past century. I think what happen to recent bank collapse is economic instability and pretty much lots of going on in the real world.

Covid, War, Economic War, and the child is recession and inflation.
1557  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How much do I need to start mining? on: May 22, 2023, 11:59:29 PM
Then what you say is that it is better to buy used miners on Ebay first, is it safe to use these miners from Ebay? Or what you are saying is that bitcoin miners can be bought and sold where it is good to buy used miners during a bear market and sell them during a bull market, am I understanding correctly?

No Sir, What I am trying to say if the OP with his $300 want the taste of mining then he can buy used ASIC miner on ebay and try it at home.
Or Buy used miner and sell it again believe me I do buy used asic miner and sell again although looking for buyer is hard. (*if you want made profit from $300)
1558  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Cara Mendapatkan Altcoin Dengan Airdrop atau Bounty on: May 22, 2023, 02:10:21 AM

1559  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the difference between banks and big whales in crypto? on: May 22, 2023, 01:36:30 AM
You already know it at the first place they are different in my opinion whale making profit from price different of price volatility while bank from our deposited money.

Whales not just in crypto they exist on every investment instrument take a look BlackRock I would consider them as Whale since they have mostly 10% of top US Stock and can do living just by dividend or sell some when the price is high enough.
1560  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Am I right about this or not on: May 22, 2023, 12:49:39 AM
but I don't think we'll live that long.

See this guy? This guy gets it.

We don't even know if we will be alive by then.

1000% Agree  Grin We all be dead when the bitcoin reached its limit unless we have some of potion from alien to watch this moment hehehe.

The simplest answer I think

Miner will be there but they will have efficient mining and big farms might cease to exist only small miners who will get from the transaction fees. and the price of bitcoin might be crazy at that time or the community has new consensus system I don't no like move to PoS but without adding more coin but this is high unlike to happen
