1761  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of Climate Change on the Financial World Where Will the Crypto World? on: April 12, 2023, 10:22:01 AM
A simple answer based on my opinion the financial system or the live itself will be Doomed if we cant control or don't act about the climate change.

Although there is an old article who IMF created back in 2019 about this

"Climate change will affect monetary policy, too, by slowing productivity growth (for example, through damage to health and infrastructure) and heightening uncertainty and inflation volatility. This can justify the adaptation of monetary policy to the new challenges, within the limits of central bank mandates." - https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/fandd/issues/2019/12/climate-change-central-banks-and-financial-risk-grippa
1762  Economy / Economics / Re: Finance is a jigsaw puzzle. on: April 12, 2023, 10:16:18 AM
I think the reason why many struggle with finance is because they are burdened with debt at a young age and think it’s normal to always have debt.

Look how easy it is to get a credit card these days. After a few months of using a credit card they want to offer you a higher limit, just so they can make more money off you. And that’s how the cycle starts. Later it’s another credit card and maybe a car loan or Line of credit and you are pretty much trapped.

Well I do 1000% Agree with you, these days is heaven for a Lender. In my country alone you can get credit just install some app register and boom you got the money. Buy and Paylater become a habit even myself know the feel of this.

The best thing is to get rid of anything like this and start saving or at least do an investment and keep learn how the financial system work what the Poker Player says is true try the seven things above and maybe you will find the puzzle is not that complicated
1763  Economy / Economics / Re: Does People Really Care About Decentralization? on: April 12, 2023, 10:09:56 AM
Simple Answer based on my opinion Does People Really Care About Decentralization?

Some care some doesn't care. But the point is we need a balance between centralization and Decentralization, not all gonna work or at least gonna run well with the Centralization system and Vice Versa. We need both centralization and decentralization in some way.
1764  Economy / Economics / Re: Could there be a new financial system not dependent on USD? on: April 12, 2023, 10:06:31 AM
In my opinion, new financial system without dependent on USD is very possible, as long the countries who involved with is agree. In fact creating new money is possible too as long as the community is agree.

A little bit out of topic I want to add some other news too

1765  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Being Russia and Russian now on: April 12, 2023, 09:55:46 AM
I have Russian engineer friend currently living in Moscow. He is NOT pro-Putin or pro-war. I generally asked about how things are going there. He told me there are no visible issues with everyday life. People go to work and spend, just like before war. But he said that electronics are getting bit more uncommon, prices raised etc. He said that even if economy is damaged, a lot, I mean in long range, Putin's approval rate increased (he said he disliked it and voted different party etc). He said he feels like Putin will keep winning as economical effects are under control, for now at least.

Yes I watched a couple of Youtube channels that discussed before and after war. Most of the Russia YouTubers says it is just like normal life the price is normal although some brand is missing from the country and some if just Re-Brand their name.

and you true about electronics the price is getting expensive like heater or etc.

1 Year ago I watched another youtube video that talk about "Putin is smart, our leaders are dumb": Trump blasts US response to Ukraine crisis - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLJvCuWuRXk
1766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Predictions? on: April 12, 2023, 09:47:17 AM
What do you mean stop at the moment and enjoy the profit? Do you mean to sell and take profit?  If I sell now, am I certain that I will be able to buy back at a lower price? No. I might end up buying back at $32,000 or $33,000. I continue to hodl.

People have a different minds, I bought Bitcoin at 15K to 17K Level so taking profit a little bit is nothing wrong at all. Although to accumulate more is perfectly fine.  The real thing is "Know how to take profit, Know how to stop Loss" Emotion including greed is bad for us all.

yes finally Bitcoin can reach $ 30k again and if this price can stay above $ 30k then there is a possibility to continue the bullish trend until maybe $ 35k or even $ 40k,
but we also have to prepare a strategy if the market is really unfriendly, don't be too greedy and buy gradually if the Bitcoin price corrects again.
Indeed take a profit a little when you think is enough and of course the bitcoin price will see correction In Fact today bitcoin at 29K level again.

I'm not too sure when ATH will form after the halving, but what is clear is that you need to own bitcoin before the halving to get decent returns after. ATH could be hit after 6-12 months after the halving, that's very dicey in my opinion.

Yes you very true it happen after 6-12 Month after halving if we look at the past. The one thing is sure is accumulate more.
1767  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proof of Space with RAM on: April 12, 2023, 09:41:35 AM
Bitcoin miners aren't cheap either. That literally doesn't matter, since all miners have to deal with it. If it's cheaper, they buy more.

Yes but Bitcoin miner is isolated like to crypto miners only.

If Proof of Space is really made a different chain and explodes it will be more like GPU or at least it will be much worse than GPU since RAM is essential to a computer. It needs RAM to work, and GPU on other hand computer can work without GPU.

But the real question is whether we can make a chain based on Proof of Space and replace the great traditional mining ex. Bitcoin Mining
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 12, 2023, 09:37:38 AM
The pattern has always been this so far. Although this is not an assurance of a repeat, if the demand remains high in the face of a lower Bitcoin mining reward, it is logical that the price will be driven up. I am also expecting a new ATH either around the end of 2023 or early 2025.

But this doesn't mean that Bitcoin is harder to mine. It's just the reward cut into half. The difficulty in mining Bitcoin is another thing. In fact, quite the opposite, mining difficulty might even drop after the halving.

Yes there is no guarantee but we already see the past and the pattern so far so good and ofcourse not just you maybe all people in crypto industry want new ATH.

if we look at the pattern usually ATH will come after 5 Month or 1 year after halving.

When the price is up In my opinion the miner will be more and more and difficulty will increase the ASIC manufacturer will made a better hardware and efficient.
1769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Predictions? on: April 11, 2023, 07:41:16 AM
Guys lets stop at the moment and enjoy the profit today Bitcoin Mark 30K or at least we need to stay this way to continue the bull run till end of the year.

Some members here share about bitcoin halving and yes usually after halving at least need ~ 5 months to 1 year gonna see new ATH.

1771  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why dont bitcoin hardware manufacturers re release old equip with smaller node on: April 11, 2023, 04:41:56 AM
I dont know the exact why but the miner manufacturer is profitable by selling the hardware right know maybe why they need launch the smaller one and as far that I know the chip its getting efficient although the mining difficulty is on the rise.

Or maybe what the  iwantmyhomepaidwithbtc2 says is true they only care about big miningfarm because they will purchase in big quantity no matter what as long as it is still profitable
1772  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Russia Becomes World’s Second-Largest Crypto Miner on: April 11, 2023, 04:35:19 AM
No wonder because according to https://www.statista.com/statistics/263492/electricity-prices-in-selected-countries/

Russia has cheap electricity around 0.06 per KwH and of course a good internet connection cold temperature and it seems regulation there allow to mine bitcoin with Crypto miners in Russia will have to declare earnings or face jail time. - https://beincrypto.com/russian-crypto-mining-bill-mandates-earnings-reports-face-jail-time/
1773  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Come and mine Bitcoin in Africa. on: April 11, 2023, 04:28:00 AM
I think there is people willing to mine on bitcoin there but it not just about cheap electricity although is be one of a lot of consideration too

Like internet speed, reliability of power and regulation on bitcoin mining oh also the source of electricity since some people believe bitcoin mine on dirty energy would be great if the energy comes from renewable source
1774  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Proof of Space with RAM on: April 11, 2023, 03:11:01 AM
I think it possible but will be not efficient since the price of ram is very high and If we mine on RAM requiring a dozen operation of write and read continuously.

Why there is still Proof of Storage it because people save the data on it and the price of storage per Gb is relatively cheap and if we using mechanical hardrive it will much cheaper But RAM is expensive right?
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Vietnam is so far ahead in crypto adoption compared to Western countries? on: April 10, 2023, 09:41:21 AM
The last news is the Operator of Chipmixer is Vietnam Guy this one can be indication that vietnam is leading crypto than western countries. Usually there is always Vietnam and China on Project related DeFi so this not shocked me.

but this is good news tho
1776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 10, 2023, 09:37:43 AM
Bitcoin will be hard to mine and it will be very rare and can drive up the price even higher  Shocked if the halving on April 2024 maybe we can see the price all time high on end of 2024 or first quarter of 2025 be prepare guys to taste the sweet of AllTimeHigh  Cool
1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Quantum computing threat to bitcoin ? on: April 10, 2023, 09:35:01 AM
Yeah there is a bunch of articles here on the forum or on the internet even on my local subboard Grin

But my answer is still the same If quantum computing really can threaten Bitcoin "in this case far from now". maybe the developer already have to counter this. if quantum computing can Threat bitcoin algorithm its pretty much hacked everything on the internet I don't think the developer just watch it right?

But it will be crazy if AI with brain of Quantum Computing
1778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it) on: April 10, 2023, 09:31:05 AM
I think the true answer is neutral there is always people who want to fix the bad reputation of bitcoin but meanwhile there is always people who want to destroy reputation of Bitcoin is two side of coin sometimes the bad win but the good can win too.

What we can doing right now is by spread the good things and try to educate anyone who want to invest in crypto
1779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much effort should one put into Bitcoin investments on: April 10, 2023, 09:28:09 AM
There is no exact number it always depends on you when it comes to investment.

Yeah for now and till this date bitcoin already proven to fight the inflation and keep maintain the price touch record high. But this still an investment you should Do Your Own Research and Do with your Own Risk + Only invest with cold money meaning only invest that you can afford to lose
