All of you are correct. The main problem of hitbtc is the withdrawal fee plus they like to pump some new coins as well.
Which may lead to big loss if you buy at the top.
Anytime I see exchanges rise the way hitbtc is rising, most especially exploiting others while rising. They are heading for a crash except they do enough to contrain themselves. The problem from inside the exchange organisation because of greed. People had been complaining on the exploit and nothing had been done. There are some coin still trading ICOs after getting on other exchanges. I hope it improve
2462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VOTE! Do you participate in ICO that requires KYC (your personal data)? on: March 11, 2018, 09:30:41 PM
There are no assurance on the security of the personal information submitted most times, we only work with the fact that the registration is necessary. Have seen cases where the information is used in the phishing mail with all the personnal details submitted. information beyond necessary security risk should not be submitted irrespective of how prospective the ICO is. Every ICO that divulge information after providing the assurance of safety of personal details should be prosecuted.
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market corrections are good on: March 11, 2018, 09:29:37 PM
the low price on the ICOs is not as a result of bad research, it is just all over and affected by the big gun bitcoin and ethereum. One can only judge when the value of bitcoin and ethereum rises later and the ICOs are not affect positively. I believe if the ICO are doing the needful to improve the product and volume of trade they will always keep up in maintain the coin price

I just received an email from "noreply@syncfab.com via nkor.io" asking me to confirm my Ethereum Wallet using a "secured one-time link". The link takes me to a new page where I am then asked to confirm my Ethereum wallet. And it provides 3 options for accessing my wallet. When you click on one of the 3 options, you are then prompted to provide one of 3 items - 1.)Keystore/JSON file, 2.)Parity Phrase, 3.)Private Key. This page claims that it does not store Private Keys. But yet it's clearly asking you to provide your private key, parity phrase, or keystore/JSON file to them. If they are not storing private keys then why are they asking for them in the first place. I believe this is a scam email. I have forwarded the email to support.
Got the same mail but couldn't reach the site. I was wondering what the site could be about. One should know any site requesting for your private key via through your mail has high percentage of being a phishing mail. I think this should be well discussed on telegram
2465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] COIN LION: RULE THE DIGITAL JUNGLE on: March 09, 2018, 08:14:10 PM
LionCoin ( LION ) list new exchange Yobit

https://twitter.com/YobitExchange/status/972106282722381826

Congratulation !
The value is still low and yobit dont always drive a project, no big influence of dump by bounty due to few participants. The team is large and can be trusted. I hope it gets on bigger exchanges soon and increase trade volume.
2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] GBX-The Crypto Harbour. FIX $500K in bounties. Whitelist open.-ENDED on: March 09, 2018, 11:57:11 AM
Good afternoon . When the start of sending tokens bounties? And they will be credited to the account of the MEW?
I sure these are not coming in our MEW wallets because we passed KYC now these tokens coming in our GBX accounts

how about people which don't pass the KYC? did we still get paid? because I don't have passport and my application was rejected before.
I don't think they plan to pay without kyc.
2467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rootstock Announces Release of Ginger Testnet on: March 09, 2018, 06:20:20 AM
I dont understand why there are no information/news on the project. The development last update even on the site was in 2017, however I noticed there activities at different conferences. It is an advantage to be deep in bitcoin technology as the background knowledge and developing on it. I expect the launch of project soon. It is taking too long

Bounty manager kindly correct and remove the repeated name on the signature campaign spreadsheet for number 97 and 98. My name came up twice on the spreadsheet, It was due to a mistake done during the registration.

2471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]IPSX - IP Exchange, the Distributed Network Layer on: March 05, 2018, 05:15:28 AM
They have collected 73% of the invest. I thought it would end with hardcap when the sales started but it didn’t happen. Anyway IPSX collected good invest… there are still 2 days remain, maybe they will make hardcap.
I'm pretty sure that they will. A lot of excitement around.
Yes, the development prospects are simply unreal !!!
Will they continue the project even if ICO's minimum goal is not met? Usually good projects come from situations like this, there are countless examples of ICOs that have failed and then become great projects! In addition, projects that raise high amounts of dollars do not have more room for growth.
But the minimum goal of ICO has long been fulfilled, and is approaching the maximum!
Are you sure that ICO will end in 2 days?

why not ,you can visit official website https://ip.sx/  ,there is one coutdown timer .

accually i think the crowd-sale time too short ,hope can collect engouh fund for development.

I agree. The crowdfund should be extended for a few days if the max cap isnt reached before the end.
Although they state they are well funded... Hitting that cap shouldnt be an issue and i doubt anyone would complain about extension

i received good news from telegram ,ipsx team already collect 70% of cap ,really amazing in this short time , already success.
Some projects are bound to get funded in the shortest time, checking the project I found my confidence. The funding will be complete soon whereas the cap is low

It was to my surprise seeing series of developments on the project recently but the coin value not be responding. The encouragement is in team and hope to hodl the coin for a long term

Aside the bounty token distribution, when is the token getting on an exchange? Team should do enough to educate on wallet signature please.

It's a funny project but the market is active. For a while now I understand the beauty of a big volume of trade, it gives a coin sustainability and invariably increase value. Lighting network is also an advantage to fast coin transfer.
2476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest or bounty? on: March 02, 2018, 08:14:23 PM
Most big projects lately don't have bounty campaign. When some value is raised by bounty invest in tokens that don't do bounty. So one can make some more profit.
2477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: March 02, 2018, 04:17:28 PM
Altcoin is a large entity but a large percentage of altcoins do not have future. Their product can't survive the market demand and the team road map will be tested. Besides it is meant to be irrespective of teams, everything thing must just synergies
2478  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: March 01, 2018, 09:49:01 PM
Trading can be done any time but when the price is high it is highly risky. No matter the prices you still make but with high price the reward might be smaller
2479  Economy / Speculation / Re: India just BANNED Bitcoin? Will BTC now crash? on: March 01, 2018, 05:17:06 PM
The ban was a threat on bitcoin and has not actually taken effect. Large banks are also limiting exchanges that deals with cryptocurrency. The government is working on controlling the price, not to go beyond $12000.
2480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Friendly countries on: March 01, 2018, 07:26:46 AM
Europe, Japan, Canada, Isreal, Korea, US, Singapore are some major countries where bitcoin has legal status. There are many other countries like India, Rusia those are preparing a draft for bitcoin legalization.

In addition my country Nigeria is bitcoin friendly, though recently government advised against bitcoin after considering the rate of cyber crime in the country but so far no regulation or banning against it. There has been live broadcast, newspaper advert and radio jingles on crypto currency in my country with fear.
The country is not as active as many of the mentioned country. No ICO project, no famous crypto investor, no policy, no bitcoin whale. No big influence on crypto community.
