2463  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [Selling] [NEW] Zeus Scrypt Miner, total up to 60Mh, GREAT PRICE! on: June 24, 2014, 08:15:53 PM
That thing is so friggin' big for just 28MH/s!   Shocked

I know the silverfish is pricier, but it is only 480 watts compared to this hulk:

https://btcfarm.org/?product=silverfish-blade-28mhs-scrypt-miner

I just 'ran the numbers', Chuck & you're so right Grin

(I'm working in GBP here)

The SilverFish is £230 more to buy but uses half the power, right?

That makes it £257 cheaper in year 1, £743 in year 2, £1230 in year 3. EACH!!!!

(and that's ignoring the difference in shipping)

It's a no brainer - all other things being close enough to equal - with SilverFish you're "quids in" Grin

(I'm currently researching the possibility of stepping up to being a full-time self-employed miner/trader so I'm chasing lots of options - think I've melted 3 calculators so far Wink )

So thanks for the valuable snippet of info - big karma to you!

In 1 year I dout these would even be profitable..let alone 3

scambust, did you create this account just for bashing Razor coin?

Quite sad when people need to hide behind these nub accounts.

Wish theymos would enable some sort of light modding in this forum

From what I am reading on twitter is that because of miners dumping this coin needs 90 BTC of buys to keep price level.

Does anybody have an idea of the block reward schedule and when will we see the next halving?

7-10 days

I'll call .035 the bottom

Really? We never even got there yet lol  Cheesy

I have a good feeling for this coin. Price is relatively stable and the 24h volume is very high. There is something coming.

The dev is working on a few things right now so id expect something or a few things coming this week

Getting dumped hard
2473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 23, 2014, 10:09:23 PM
I don't understand why all these people are having issues.  Leave your coin on the exchange or in your wallet.  What is the purpose of moving from exchange to exchange unless you want to dump a bunch and need to spread it out?  Mintpall is no better than Poloniex for trading XMR.

Both are shit.

Bittrex is a better exchange.  Moving coins to mintpal tells me there was hope for a pump/dump.

nice mintpal welcome selloff

What caused the selloff? I thought mintpal would cause it to increase in price ? The selloff is pretty bad... dropped in price rather significantly

I've found that any coin that Mintpal adds from wining votes gets dumped hard.  Coins they add from being popular tend to do much better.  I don't think Monero will get dumped to hard, but I feel it can recover.

Ah - thats interesting

The past week starting around tuesday is when I noticed a small jump in price and it steadily was going up daily.  Keep in mind that was when it was a pretty clear Monero was in the lead to being listed.  IIRC i think it was around .004

You recon it would fall down to 0.004 ?

I don't know.. anything is possible.  The fact is a lot of people accumulated coins in the .0016-.0025  about 2-3 weeks ago so at this point they are up 3x

It also depends on said persons investment timeline.

Does technical analysis work for cryptocoins ?

I wouldn't put to much weight on TA.  I've seen it work and not work.

Can anyone explain to me rationally and with evidence of why this coin is a scam?

I have yet to find any solid proof as well.

All the nub accounts are people who were left out at launch

Even though this is a good coin yesterday's pump was absolutely PATHETIC considering it got added to MP for volume alone.

I'm disgusted at you, whales. Go drown in a lake.

Not if they are accumulating more.
