copy from SSD?
only change algo

Surely not. It's a fairly direct copy of Icebergcoin, including the clumsy cut'n'paste ...

https://github.com/darktoken/darktoken/blob/master/src/test/key_tests.cpp#L41

    for (int nCompressed=0; nCompressed<2; nCompressed++)
    {
        bool fCompressed = nCompressed == 1;
        printf("  * %s:\n", fCompressed ? "compressed" : "uncompressed");
        CIcebergcoinSecret bsecret;
        bsecret.SetSecret(secret, fCompressed);
        printf("    * secret (base58): %s\n", bsecret.ToString().c_str());
        CKey key;
        key.SetSecret(secret, fCompressed);
        vector<unsigned char> vchPubKey = key.GetPubKey();
        printf("    * pubkey (hex): %s\n", HexStr(vchPubKey).c_str());
        printf("    * address (base58): %s\n", CIcebergcoinAddress(vchPubKey).ToString().c_str());
    }
}

Cheers

Graham

lol

fair warning to everyone. this coin is a scam.

Hey, thanks for pointing this out. We have fixed it and commited the fix to our github (https://github.com/darktoken/darktoken). While it's true that we based our coin code in another coin's code (like every new coin does) we don't want to stop there. The objective is to build a whole ecosystem so the coin can gain value and the ICO will be a big help on making this a reality, as stated in the OP "(...) sum that will be put forward to developments and to fund services."
We have already started the development, all the new wallet design and in wallet exchange was code made by us, and there's more to come.

And btw, we choose Icebergcoin's code to be our base code because, after some weeks of testing it proved itself to be by far, the stablest code we encountered.

Cheers

Im sure you will follow the same path as Iceberg as well..

to say the truth I think this is ridiculous bluffing Roll Eyes

if bcx really had a *fatal exploit* he would use it to demonstrate that he does have skills, yet he's just using this lame tactic to make us *fear BCX and sell XMR*  although there is nothing to fear really. I'm actually convinced BCX wants the price to crash to gain a whale position in Monero by buying up the cheap XMR....

It's all just hot air once again, I admit I was worried for a few minutes and asked BCX via PM to privately send the exploits' information to the developers. Now my worries of a few minutes are relieved. Thanks!

I'm buying more.

LOL look at his history....he doesn't need to demonstrate ANYTHING

He has killed coins in the past

1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency (mandatory upgrade) on: September 17, 2014, 05:46:14 PM
Hahem am I the only one that think BCX's findings are worrisome?

What were the findings again?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=786201.0

[...]

* I have found very specific exploits in CN that have not been fixed that would be successful on XMR. Most are what I call annoyance attacks, that would be fixed and the coin would probably survive, but one is a coin killer. In XMR there exist a flaw involving the keyrings that under the right conditions will allow an attacker to steal your wallets and hijack your addresses. To fix this, anonymity will need to be sacrificed. These exploits are why two top exchanges who have asked for my opinion have not added XMR.

[...]

not a developer but he told about that flaw back in july, which worried me a that time. I think it is either very hard to find or non-existent in the way bitcoinexpress wants it to execute. but could be dead wrong here.

btw. he said he does not want to execute it

The door is opened up now (more so than ever before) because of his statement.  He has already hinted at the conditions, so at this point if a select few who were skilled at reading code the way BCX is is able to, they could possibly execute it as well.

Interesting to say the least.

oh god.  fake monero shill trying to seance the big BCX by impersonating a PM Roll Eyes

Your ignorance makes me laugh hard, little man.

He feels like a Terminator but he's a little baby girl with a fat mouth. You can wait and wait and nothing will happen because he doesn't have any significant skills. Take my word for it, and you'll join me in my facepalm activities caused by the guy.

Why don't you stop hiding behind this account

My money is on BCX all the way.

If there is an exploit, he will find it.

1770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero is a hedge to Bitcoin. on: September 14, 2014, 11:50:15 PM
Monero a hedge to Bicoin LOL

Monero is a scam coin piece of shit and nothing more.

The OP has so much faith and belief in XMR he post under a one day old newbie account.

If you have so much faith in this piece of shit, use your real account.

Unless your primary account instills less faith than this one.

~BCX~

It always cracks me up when I see these newbie accounts trying to make a point especially when it's clear they are afraid to post from their main account.
1771  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: September 14, 2014, 11:45:20 PM

On day 5 of my support ticket + post on hashtalk + chat with Amber trying to get my last 26 ours of payouts from selling my Hashlets.  At least the ticket was finally assigned to someone after I chatted with Amber.

Since this "accidental" pocketing of of my payout happened to everyone that sold Hashlets, I am not sure why they have no method in place for efficiently resolving it.  It's so hard not to talk about businessmen.

Following up on my ongoing ticket with GAW as I attempt to get the final payouts I was due after transferring my 100MH of hashlets to someone else.  (as we all know, GAW says that the payouts are for the previous 24 hour cycle)

Luke from ZenMiner finally replied on my ticket.  However he said that the payout would be "impossible to calculate" so as a "courtesy" he would pay me 45% of what the payout should have been, assuming it was equal to the previous day.

He provided no rationale or explanation for not paying the full amount, instead acting as if he was doing me a great favor.  What?

Why would someone not receive payment for the "work" that they did?  I understand GAW has a terrible terrible payment system that seems to be maintained by human labor instead of code, but why not payout the full amount when it is brought to their attention?

edit: The amount is fairly trivial, ~.034 BTC, but I can't let it rest on principle.

I know no one really cares, but I thought GAW's terrible customer support should be a public matter.

Luke finally responded back to my ticket today.  He clarified that the reason why the payout was "impossible" to determine is because there is no way for him to know what time the account was transferred.

I reminded him that the transfer was done via email (with timestamps), so it is actually "possible" to determine.  I gave him the info he needs to verify the time,  so let's see what reason Luke has for being unable to pay me my final payout next.

Least you got someone in your ticket.  I called them 2 times already is week and left voice messages.  No one bothered to call me back yet

You only called twice this week? I had to call 4 times in a single day before I got a hold of someone...that said I do like GAW and the service but their CS is poooor.

Well I called twice on different days and left 2 messages.  I guess I'm not important.

Lucky for you that you got a holdof someone.

2 cards gone bad. waiting refund.

All I have explained in the message. 2 the gift card still works fine, I just refund when you return for me 2 the gift card as before when I send it to you, and of course the account balance must put back.
Starbucks will not put back the funds.
Where did you get the cards from?

What do you mean Starbucks wont put back the funds?  Is the account "Closed" or did you try and use it on the website like an idiot?
you need to ask starbucks that question. i am simply stating what i was told

Well you didnt answer my question, What were you buying?  This was an instore purchase or online?  If this was an online purchase then its YOUR fault.

last time i checked, starbucks giftcards can be used both online and instore.
seems to me that you and OP have been talking much. did you supply op the cards?

I haven't spoken to the OP, and no I do not supply cards.  I've read quite a bit on here and other forums as well about online purchasing with these.  It's a big no no.

Your story fits my assumption and your last post confirms it.

I will however defend people when I feel they haven't done anything wrong.  Your scammer tag says enough.
1775  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {Selling} Starbucks Gift Card 35% on: September 12, 2014, 03:46:55 PM
Lol .. i'm never using the gift i have sold. But you can check your code in this link: https://www.starbucks.com/card#cardBalanceWrapper
Bad or work you can see. I do not know you use it on anything, it totally depends on you, I sold the card for you and you have used up its balance. now you make me return the money to you, it is not possible.

Can i public your gift card on here?

Post a screen shot of the transaction history.

I want to see this poor attempt at a scam he is trying to pull

1778  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: September 12, 2014, 12:23:00 AM
I do use it regularly to buy sushi Wink
And last month a VPN subscription.

But that's probably not weird
which VPN provider site start  accepting Bitcoins can you tell me . how much you pay money for subscription . I also want to buy my own domain Smiley .

PureVPN is the one I'm using. Very fast software with it, loads of servers, plus, there is an app for Android (and probably ios) so all surfing on your phone is over VPN. Some providers don't want skype or something or block certain sites. Very happy camper.

They have a referral program if you'd like to let me profit on their new clientele Wink

I'll have to check them out if I ever need additional servers.  I currently use StrongVPN and I am quite happy, but it's nice to see other services that are iOS friendly

Edit: shit they have unlimited server switching!!!!!  I'll be switching once my contract is up
