VOOT finally taking off. Really curious what price VOOT can hit in future. Black reached 100k with 75 mil supply. VOOT has 68 mil. Lets wait and see
That Blackcoin pump was legendary and epic, I doubt you will see a pump like that ever again. Blackcoin was the first POS and first coin to have a multipool, you have to factor that in as well. Plus IE was promoting the shit out of it, the combination of those 3 things are what drove the price to that level, plus people pumping as well. Thank you for your dumping VOOT at 1k satoshi now YOU can go back and pump BTCD The gains I made in BTCD obliterate the gains I could of made with Voot. I did eventually buy back into Voot when I got out of another coin, I did pay an additional 200 satoshi's, but I made a killing.

When is btc38 suppose to add voot?

There's probably going to be another dump once the bids recover a bit

BTC Had a rollback in 2010 and look at it now, please people do not listen to the FUD Bobsurplus is spewing all over the forum. If you have concerns please post on Veritalk.info and get real anwsers if you would like to continue watching the FUD entertainment then please stay, I think I heard somewhere that FUD is sometimes good for a coin.. any thoughts ?
This is such bullshit... You cannot compare the hard-fork that bitcoin devs and miners initiated to fix a PROTOCOL FLAW back in 2010 with VeriCoin dev's decision to bail out an exchange. God... some people are just so ignorant it's sad. It's not FUD if it's true - it's a warning. The community that fought for their coin and fought against the theft of $2 million dollars worth of investors money.
Hmmmm.....
You mean the community that was stupid enough to have 30% of a coin on one exchange? Rather than MintPal pay everyone back, they leaned on the devs to rollback the chain. It is disgraceful that the devs even considered it - period. They didn't do it to bail out an exchange. That was a symptom of the rollback, designed to save the coin from certain death. 7.5mill staking at time of attack vs 8 million stolen. Coin is dead if they don't roll back. There is an argument to "let it die then" on philosophical grounds, but they made the only decision possible for a coin with a $6million economy at the time. So if you and your friends want to "spread the truth about vericoin" or whatever reason you choose to believe to validate you posting here every 2 minutes - spread the one I've just explained to you. I understand what your saying, but do you think if 2-3k bitcoins were stolen from bitstamp they would fork and rollback the bitcoin blockchain? They wouldn't. It's very unfortunate what happened and given the situation whatever action could of been taken wasn't good.

It's difficult for me to tell, but I get a sense there is a decent amount of accumulation going on. Looks like we might stay in this range a bit (I think 140k-118k) I do feel whoever flashed that 20k order last night was just "showing off" and the order was pulled pretty quickly out of fear that someone could of jumped on that order very quickly. He had no intention of selling. There is also no way he could even unload all those coins without crashing the price.
The speed at which James is coding and developing I would be very weary of selling/dumping/playing the short game. People jumped out to go chase other coins for short term profits, but they will have to make incredible gains on those shit/scamcoins in order to jump back in btcd and buy back what they sold. The order book (selling) is still pretty thin. Were only 10BTC to 200k and its not really that many coins.
James is working on so many small pieces together that once the puzzle starts to get put together (which I suspect) is going to be sooner than expected we will see a violent/sharp rise.
Take this time to accumulate what you can.

lol 40btc sell order also see a 18btc buy order added, a big whale has entered the building I saw someone else talking about how they had about 20k coins from early mining and buying when it hit bittrex. Might not be James. I have a lot but I'm not dumb enough to flash an order like that. Plus I only have 5k avail on bittrex rest is staking

I've noticed a pattern with the price which i've been monitoring for a few days. I will post more details later when I can hopefully conclude the additional info.

Damn it's obvious those who sold went straight into JUDGE. thinking I'll do the same until btcd is low enough to buy back in
go ahead and fill my bids please

I am working on a non-tech project that relates to BTCD, but it is about a month out, so not sure if there is any point to post about it. However, it needs some funding and so I am hoping that we can crowd fund it.
This wont be like a donation (even though it is quite worthy cause!), I will issue a NXT asset and then people who own the asset would get a percentage of revenues.
I know it is impossible to decide on how much to fund without more details, but I would like to gauge the level of interest. This is a chance for BTCD holders to help by investing in an asset that will directly help BTCD and also provide dividends. It probably needs around 30,000 BTCD worth of funding, still working on exact budgets, etc.
So, if the concept is something you like and find promising, how many people will purchase asset to crowdfund this?
James
I might, ill be on the lookout for more details

Looks like people dumped, went into Saffron, then dumped that and now into JUDGE... gotta ride the waves!
going to be expensive for them to jump back into btcd

buying on the way down

did you pick up meaningful volumes? seems to be less than 1000 BTCD available below .002 If anybody wants to get out with big volumes and doesnt want to kill the market price while doing so, PM me I am buying James some, not nearly enough what i hoped for.. bitterex lagging hard, i had some orders around 160k get filled

With the amount of btc pouring in I would expect a mega pump once shares are released and listed
Did you mean mega dump? nah well yes, but after the pump. I see this being the greatest pump of all time. but yes there will be many sad bagholders look at the viacoin pump (not as epic as the blackcoin one), but it was an ipo blackcoin was the best pump i have seen (especially if u got in at 600 satoshi)

Terms of ether sale:
https://www.ethereum.org/pdfs/TermsAndConditionsOfTheEthereumGenesisSale.pdfclause 19.9 Risk that Ethereum Platform May Never be Completed or Released. Purchaser understands, that while Ethereum Team will make reasonable efforts to complete the Ethereum software, it is possible that an official completed version of the Ethereum Platform may not be released and there may never be an operational Ethereum Platform. I missed this point, so they can run away a month from now saying bye bye to all investors? correct whats why everyone needs to read the terms and conditions when i saw that i walked away..good luck to everyone

one more day and all those crushed hearts What do you mean? hes saying it will crash to nothing tommorow ^^ If it doesn't go up today I think it will 'crash' a little bit to 140-150k, but that's better to get rid of those weak hands. People want to make a quick profit. On the other side, there are a lot of people that bought in at 180-200k, and they don't want to lose money No one knows where this will end up tomorrow, but what you said is correct. A lot of new money went in at those levels. There is a lot of btc waiting on the sidelines that isnt on the books, I know this becuase I have 8 sitting on the side and I know 2 other people as well with similar amounts.
