2461  Economy / Economics / Re: The End of Covid Scam? "Governor Abbott Opens Texas 100 Percent" on: March 10, 2021, 08:47:00 AM
Amazing decision considering that the winter in addition to corona made things very difficult through the country. I guess Governor Abbott has already sensed this and put it on agenda with best economists in the state. After that they might have come to discussion whether to reopen or not. I think this will either work perfectly or might just introduce more covid patients who will be travelling from outside the state without any precautions. See this is completely a science rather than Covid Scam! Or it might just increase the herald immunity and neutralise the threat of corona throughout state.

Well let’s hope for the best and see that they set an example and bring an end to this.
There is no such thing as best economist in a government that pressures them to lie that it is safe to lift the restrictions in the pandemic. This won't work perfectly, I can guarantee that, with more people getting in contact with each other, the virus will have its infection chain grow longer again. How do we get herald immunity? Because AFAIK there is only herd immunity, and the only way to get herd immunity is if the vaccinated people are higher than the infected in a day and it can only work if the vaccinated one are staying for awhile to prevent themselves from becoming a carrier. I don't get why this is virus is a scam, this is as real as anything deadly.

Increasing minimum wage is not the solution, but the consequence of inflation. It also increases the cash in circulation which causes inflation to go higher. In Modern Monetary Theory, the solution is radically higher taxes, and higher interest rates. It will work until it doesn’t.

HODL Bitcoin.
If the people are going to starve because there is no salary increase in parallel with the inflation growth, they will slowly reduce productivity which will generate less profit for the businesses that they are working for and with businesses that has lower profits then the lower the taxes the businesses are going to produce.
2463  Economy / Economics / Re: random economic ideas on: March 10, 2021, 07:20:21 AM
That is an interesting idea, I would like to own a piece of a celebrity  Cheesy

The same could be done for TV actors aswell, because since Netflix TV Shows become much more important. It might also because of the pandemic that we can't really go to movies anymore but I kind of miss the block buster movies. The new James Bond movie has been postponed so many times already. What I am wondering is if it wouldn't be cheaper to just sell it to Netflix or so and try to get some cash in now? Nobody knows how long the corona pandemic is going to last and when the cinemas are going to open again. Maybe the whole movie industry has to start changing their plans and focus more on TV shows?
I think what you are pertaining is producers or agents or slavery which is worse, I might be wrong though. They can sell it but it is up to the management company that own the rights of the movie if they are going to sell it.
2464  Economy / Economics / Re: Big test for Bitcoin during the next Economic Collapse. on: March 10, 2021, 06:37:50 AM
Governments of practically every country have government regulators that closely followed inflation rate at their country and I believe they have some methods to regulate the level of inflation and to prevent hyperinflation. As for BTC it is finite so is not inflationary. Doubt he'd collapse together with all the economy. It seems more likely that the reverse is the case his price will grow to the moon.
They do have some methods if I am recalling it right, although the government isn't going to like those solutions to be honest. One of the best way to combat inflation is to raise the minimum wage of the labor sector but that wouldn't ring good in the ears of business sector because they will be "losing profit" which is clearly a bullshit. I believe that increasing the minimum wage is the only way to combat the inflation effectively because printing money is in a way good for an expanding economy. Walking a tight rope between deflation and inflation is difficult because the balance of both is the most ideal thing to happen.
2465  Economy / Economics / Re: Pricing in Dollar - Pricing in Bitcoin on: March 10, 2021, 05:59:28 AM
but did this currency not included in the crash ? you said dollar and other currency are going to crash but if all of them did , all whats left to us is crypto and the main measurement of a crypto is in btc so your right that everything are going to be priced in btc .

it sounds scarry but exciting at the same time because finally btc is now going to be recognized as the main currency but they just wanna make sure that they price every thing fairly .
Got 'em. To be fair, I think OP must be excluding Yuan because Chinese economy is a pretty inclusive one unlike USD which is widely used by many countries to help their economy grow. I don't want a crash really, now that I think about it, if there was a crash and I was the only one that is going to be safe from that crash, I will be the target for the many and some of them might steal from me or ask for my help and I don't want that kind of responsibility. If bitcoin is going to be recognized as a currency then it means that bitcoin should be able to circulate to the economy at the same pace as fiat and that bitcoin is able to be distributed towards the workers all over the world.

Uh uh, definitely not. Bitcoin doesn't have a gatekeeper. Bitcoin does not have an administrator like the one we have here on this forum. Bitcoin does not discriminate users. Bitcoin is what genuine freedom is all about. You are a criminal, a pedophile, a politician, a saint, a terrorist, and so on does not matter. You are welcome.
It's pretty sad that this is the final frontier when it comes to morals of bitcoin. If this is freedom is then being locked in a cage safe from all this evils is a far better choice then, we can't just look the other way when there are people that are using it for malicious purpose.

Yes, it might look like scratching the surface but there is something more to this and I think that we should be scared of it. As long as there is no real way to prevent terrorist organization and other bad elements from using bitcoin/cryptocurrency, I think that we should treat it as a big deal.

There is no preventing them from using Bitcoin. That is the truth. But, you know, law enforcers will enforce the law. Law enforcement is precisely the reason behind AML, CFT, KYC, and so on. It's their cat and mouse game.

As to Bitcoin, it is there for everyone. In the same manner that countries are not shutting down Toyota car dealers even if ISIS troops are riding on Toyota Hilux. They don't shut down Samsung or Apple or Nokia stores even if these terrorists are communicating through their mobile phones.
I want to believe you that law enforcers will enforce the law but I wasn't born yesterday, law enforcers are breaking the laws too, this world is slowly descending to chaos and we just smile and do nothing about it. Your right about the Toyota cars being used but if the manufacturers were to know that they are dealing with a terrorist, I think that they will not deal with them. Those cars came from CIA so we can't do anything about it.
2467  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics of perpetual poverty - R. Kiyosaky and the dude on the street on: March 10, 2021, 04:24:44 AM
I believe that wealth is a relative thing, because each person has their own framework for wealth. Someone lacks several hundreds of millions of dollars, while others will need tens of thousands of dollars for a quiet life. At least you can start your own small business and enjoy life.
True wealth is a relative thing is not just money you know, mental wealth, physical wealth and social wealth counts I think. If wealth was just money then this world strayed from the truth a long time ago because people never chased what is their purpose anymore, they all just need to survive and make money to survive day by day. Those advices can work but if you don't have enough money to save, will you be able to escape out of poverty though?
2468  Economy / Economics / Re: Bangladesh militants use Bitcoins for laundering money to Kashmir on: March 10, 2021, 03:32:32 AM
Because we all want privacy with our financial transactions, the good people and the bad, whether we are hiding something or not.

This does not amount to a big deal actually. Sometimes we are overemphasizing such incidents simply because Bitcoin is involved in it. More often than not, criminals use fiat. Good people use it, too. The same goes with Bitcoin. It is being used both by bad and good people. But in terms of cross-border transactions, Bitcoin is a whole lot better than fiat. We all know that. Terrorists must have also heard of it.
If terrorist organizations can use bitcoin to access it, I think that it is definitely a big deal. Yes, it might look like scratching the surface but there is something more to this and I think that we should be scared of it. As long as there is no real way to prevent terrorist organization and other bad elements from using bitcoin/cryptocurrency, I think that we should treat it as a big deal.
2469  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin mining in Texas - new trend - will Tesla follow on: March 10, 2021, 02:57:09 AM
Considering that Elon is planning to build a city called Starbase in Texas, I think that there is a real possibility that they will follow this trend and he might become the biggest and most green bitcoin mining in the region. I think that Texas is a pretty good location because it is a big state and you can easily choose where you want to go whenever you want and the tax cuts there as I have heard is attractive for companies and rich people alike.
2470  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence Engine App predicts price movements on: March 09, 2021, 08:44:08 AM
~
So which one is it? Is $30 a good price for a product that you basically said worthless in predicting price? If so, would you personally pay for that kind of app every month?
I know my capabilities as a human when it comes to trading, that is why I said that the problem is the person that is going to keep up with the AI. 30 USD is a good price because if it was an accurate AI then you might be able to get back a lot more than what you invested.
2471  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence Engine App predicts price movements on: March 09, 2021, 07:48:24 AM
$30 per month after the seven day free trial, no thanks. I don't think anyone should pay for such app today because we are at a time when basically almost every cryptocurrency is going up and even newbies will look like a pro-trader.
It's not that bad of a price, the problem with these one is the person isn't going to keep up with the price prediction of AI, this kind of thing has been what big firms in stock market are using because speed is what matters in trading and they are getting a lot of profits because they are faster than anyone else, if I am right, the current speed that the fastest trading machine is around 1 blink of an eye is equal to 270,000 trades.
2472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think CBDC's will be interchangable with cryptocurrencies? on: March 09, 2021, 07:16:47 AM
There isn't a lot of difference with CBDC and cryptocurrencies so I think that we won't be resisting to any changes related to this. I think that it is good that CBDCs are being introduced but I think that they should be tested first and have some experiments at a small scale so that whenever the chance of failure were to happen they don't have that much of a damage.
2473  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is over $54,000, hold or sell? on: March 09, 2021, 06:31:17 AM
With respect to HODLers!
I wanted to sell what I currently hodl but I don't think that I won't be getting a lot of money and not to mention that I know that these prices are going to up this year, I just have to save what I currently hodl and just top it up more so when my right time comes, I can get a big profit margin.
2474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The history of bitcoin ATMs is much longer than I thought! on: March 09, 2021, 05:53:36 AM
I will only be dreaming of that kind of thing happening in my country, I am in a way jealous that you have bitcoin ATMs as opposed to what we are doing in my country converting it to cash and withdrawing it in a conventional ATM. Maybe the winds of progression will come to our homeland and I will see bitcoin ATMs pop up everywhere but right now, I won't hold on to that possibility because there isn't a lot of people that knows about bitcoin in my country.
2475  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 09, 2021, 04:55:58 AM

They are not coerced to corrupt because those corrupt officials only offer them the money and obey what they want. The decision will be up to the players, but the players can get tempt because of big money offered to them. Although that money is not too big to compare to the corrupt officials, that is big money for the players, and maybe that money will be bigger than what they got from their payment.
You don't clearly know what happens behind the scenes, there are players that are coerced to do it because some of them have principles so bribing them isn't a feasible option for the officials. Yes, the decision is up to the players but when you are coerced, you either stand by your principle which could have dire consequences or you accept the condition because you have someone you care about. It is not that bigger than the players payment but it will always come down whether they accept it or they are coerced.
2476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: March 09, 2021, 04:22:18 AM

Try googling for deaths during sex - there are many more. This is understandable - physical activity plus excitement. And mind you, no one talks about the mortal danger of having sex  Grin Therefore, I consider all such topics to be some speculation, since in the first place is not the main factor (poor health) but the secondary one (other circumstances like winning the lottery or having sex).
But does deaths during sex counts with people dying of heart attack because they won the jackpot? What physical activity is involved when you know that you won the lottery? Picking up the news paper and checking the winning numbers? Picking up the remote to watch the winning numbers in the Powerball channel? Those activities aren't as taxing as sex.
2477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Atari Set to Launch Cryptocurrency Casino Featuring Atari-themed Games and NFTs on: March 09, 2021, 03:37:49 AM
This is nice considering that NFTs are the current talk of the town and Atari going to join in is a big thing especially for their fans and I am pretty sure that their NFTs are going to be exploding in popularity. Their casino operation though is a little bit confusing for me but hey, what works for them am I right?
2478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆"Maharaja of Bitcointalk" Sports bets tourney $600 prize pool !Free entry! 🏆 on: March 09, 2021, 03:03:24 AM
Updated banner! The winner gets high quality banner and avatar.
Banner and avatar is good and all but considering that there will be users that are doing campaign signatures, I think that the banner and avatar will not be the best of them all, maybe if you can persuade campaign managers to have the winner wear the banner and avatar without being in conflict with the campaign that they are participating, I think that it can work. I wanted to join but I haven't done betting in a long while and I want to stay that way, anyways good luck with your tournament and hopefully a lot of users are going to join this, 600 USD is a lot of money.
2479  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: March 09, 2021, 02:29:26 AM
^^ And Hatton went into depression, gain a lot of weight and there are reports that he do drugs as well to cope up with that devastating lost to Pacman.

And I agree that Wilder is a different case though, he didn't remain quiet as compare to Hatton, he went on a public meltdown that majority of us suspected that the lost against Fury was more of a mental to him. As he thinks he still has control of everything, but he is not.
Didn't know that the loss with Pacquiao was something that Hatton took to the next level, I feel bad for him, I hope that this has already passed and Hatton is recovering from his problem. I think that each fighter have a different coping mechanisms, its just that Wilder is a bit more open than the other so we can see his breakdowns, nothing wrong with that personally, we have to have some vent for our feelings after all.

Ana is now back in dota 2 scene, just like before. He is playing and playing and all of a sudden he is again part of the OG.

Are we expecting him to replace Midone as the carry of OG? cause OG is not having a good time in their leagues and seems to be good time for ANA to step in the competitive world
They did not have any good times too back when they win the two Aegis of Champion, I think that this strategy is to gauge the teams that they possibly are going against so they do not play that seriously. We just have to watch out for this one because with this new roster than the last The International, I think that we could expect something grand although I am tired of OG winning, I will root for them especially if they do something crazy in this next match.
