1801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: May 28, 2021, 09:12:26 AM
Are you kidding ?, selling all your Bitcoin at a cheap price? haha yes you are kidding,
there is no indicator that Bitcoin will go below $ 30k, and I am sure the Bitcoin price will continue to go above $ 60k again,
I still hold Bitcoin that I have and I will not sell when it cheap.
OP wants to get on the market at a really low price, that's why OP wants other people to sell at a really low price. Also, I don't believe when people say this kind of stuff without any data to back them up. The right move is to hodl and don't let OP get in the market at a really low price.
1802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slap yourself if you didn't buy during crash, and slap harder if you... on: May 28, 2021, 08:29:24 AM
If the time permits and if the price will dump below $30k, that will be my buying position but I think it takes time to have it as we are still almost $40k.

Anyway, people can set their own buying price, $38k is at its best for those who can't wait long. The price is very volatile, fluctuation comes so visibly that we are not worried for the price to dump and it surely recovers.

I hope we don't miss any single opportunity coz it never happens once again. Or you need to wait for another year.
I really wanted buy right now but all my money is on the crypto bucket so I can't do much but hodl what I currently have because I can't sell right now since the prices are really low and my profit if I sell right now isn't going to be that big. If I am stupid, I would've slapped myself to death if I have the money and I didn't bought during the crash.
1803  Economy / Economics / Re: No new millionaires come from stock market in 2020/2021 on: May 28, 2021, 07:34:10 AM
Here's a link that is going to refute your claim which is pretty stupid to be claimed since you have no data to back up the claim. Also, how are you so sure that stocks can't make millionaires when a lot of investment companies are making their billions out of it.

1804  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: May 28, 2021, 06:25:51 AM
If you study the market and cryptocurrency, it is normal for it to undergo a bearish market.

You just need to understand that market is volatile and there are other cryptocurrencies which are profitable than bitcoin.

Some people are just holding until they see the market go bullish again but we don't know when that will happen.
Even if people do understand that the market enters the bear market, they will still do the same thing because not everyone has a strong hands when it comes to hodling and waiting for the bear market to end.
1805  Economy / Economics / Re: We exited the bear market earler than expected on: May 28, 2021, 05:46:00 AM
We can't be that sure yet, this might be just another temporary pumps that will keep the hopes up of the market, I will only believe that we exited the bear market if the growth in prices are steady as it can be.
1806  Other / Meta / Re: What Would Be Your Reason to Leave Bitcointalk? on: May 27, 2021, 12:14:01 PM
Personal reasons and health could be a key factor as to why I am going to leave this forum but since I am still strong and happy, I don't think that I would be leaving the forum anytime soon.
1807  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 27, 2021, 11:27:24 AM
I have no problem or worry about this situation, I still trust bitcoin. Many people or organization tried to destroy bitcoin and they always fail. Many smart people that always hold their bitcoin no matter what, and in the future they get big profit. I hope Elon Musk don't do bad thing to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies because it is not good for his company image.
It's not bitcoin that is the problem here, Elon has a big following which could be problematic because the moment he says something about bitcoin in a negative light, the prices will surely plummet, people will follow what their God will say and we can't do anything about it, it's how the market was moved plus if that were to happen, I would really love to buy some bitcoin at a really low price.
1808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans Bitcoin too on: May 27, 2021, 10:33:17 AM
People will still probably use bitcoin even if there is a ban, pretty sure that the Iranian bitcoin users will be able to find a way. This ban could be bad for the prices but I am optimistic that the effect of the ban is going to be minimal.
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value and market on: May 27, 2021, 09:44:41 AM
If there is a limit to the prices, bitcoin will never be considered a hedge for inflation again since the price is already fixed plus even if we want to fix the prices, it can't be done because trades are happening every second of the day and that cause the prices to fluctuate.
1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SAVE CRYPTO FROM PEOPLE LIKE ELON MUSK on: May 27, 2021, 09:03:21 AM
For me it isn't just crypto but the investors as well they are the ones who are in really high risk by trusting and investing because of Elon's words.
We should save those who we could and teach them what is cryptocurrency and the risk of investing on it so they would be aware about it and doesn't just rush in because it is flying high or being advertised by famous/rich or influential person.
Elon is just a personality, it's the stupid weak hands investors that we should be saved from, they are the reason for panic selling because they overreact to things that aren't even worth the attention, look at the prices, it's slowly going back up and now the weak hands has to get in again and they blame other people for their losses.
1811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Tweeting Power gone on: May 27, 2021, 08:13:56 AM
The power of his tweets will decrease with each new tweet about crypto
I don't think so, with a lot of people still following him, I don't think that his influence won't waver no matter what because zealots won't care what happens, as long as they aren't on the bad side of Elon, they will defend him no matter what. We might hate that he tweets about crypto but we are an insignificant number compare to his followers.
1812  Economy / Services / Re: No 1 Cheap Essay Help & Writing Service on: May 27, 2021, 07:27:41 AM
You might want to move this to Services board, on the bottom left of this thread, you can see Move Topic and click it and then put it in the right board. Services board is where you can find some freelancers that are looking for clients.
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inner Mongolia strictly reinforces Beijing’s Bitcoin mining ban on: May 27, 2021, 05:20:18 AM
~

LOL.. highly influenced? Inner Mongolia is a province of China and the Chinese laws are applicable there. And the current crackdown has nothing to do with any anti-cryptocurrency policy change. The justification given by Inner Mongolia government is that they are asking all the high energy consuming industries to shut down, in order to reduce the electricity usage. Many of the cities there are facing high levels of atmospheric pollution, and the government wants to reduce the amount of electricity that is being generated from coal-fired powerplants.
Well, if they are a province of China which I assume is only claimed by the Chinese government, then why the delay? Also, even if they stop mining in the region, Inner Mongolia is already polluted with a lot of coal mining in their region, I don't think that banning mining will be able to make any difference.
1814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are some impediments to Bitcoin's continued growth on: May 27, 2021, 04:42:00 AM
Adoption probably? It's at it's baby stages right now so its development isn't proceeding the right way properly, just like how most people see Bitcoin as investment and not as a currency.
It will be easy when the government openly adopts it, it only takes them to do that for the public to follow suit. I think thee one issue that needs to be solved is the network congestion because what's the merit of adoption if the network is really slow and could take days to do a transaction.
1815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: May 26, 2021, 01:41:41 PM
That's easy, think of it like an empty can, if you drop it, it will create more noise, it's like this people that think that they know a lot because they talk a lot when in reality, they are not knowledgeable, they are instead an ignorant that isn't open to new ideas.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining Council on: May 26, 2021, 11:43:19 AM
No matter how much council we make if we continue using fossil fuel as a source for electricity, the efforts of mining council will be in vain to be honest. The world will still pollute the air with other pollutants and we can't do a thing about it, this mining isn't a green thing to do is just a good scapegoat for other power companies to continue using coal powered electricity.
Right, if we still have coals and a lot of pollutants as a main source of energy, this council won't do a dent. What we really need is for the government to take action in the fossil fuel crisis that will eventually cause the doom of our civilization if we continue to use it as an energy source. Also if we don't innovate on nuclear and renewable energy, we will not be able to fully transition from polluting energy towards clean energy.
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inner Mongolia strictly reinforces Beijing’s Bitcoin mining ban on: May 26, 2021, 11:06:28 AM
In my opinion, I don’t think this would impact much of BTC’s price and we might remain under consolidation phase in which we are gonna trade sideways for a while. What is your assessment on this one guys?
Inner Mongolia is highly influenced by the Chinese government so I was surprised that they took some time banning bitcoin. I think that this will push a lot of miners into a corner to either go overseas or stop their operations. I expect the prices to drop but not as drastically low as the China ban.
1818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT HAPPENED? I went into the hospital cam out AND.... on: May 26, 2021, 10:34:50 AM
Can't do much about the prices going down, just hodl and wait, the prices will recover soon enough and I don't think that we have anything to worry since the market is still going strong and the crash never dipped really low.
1819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making investmets based on Elon Musk Tweets on: May 26, 2021, 09:59:23 AM
You have to be there before the tweet happens though since by the time the tweet was published, I think that it is already too late. Also, it will be difficult but really profitable if you were ever to buy one coin that he was supposedly supported.
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is new digital Gold on: May 26, 2021, 09:22:20 AM
This was coined as a term for bitcoin a long time ago and I don't think that there's nothing new with the thread that you have posted. Also, I don't think that bitcoin is the digital gold that we are looking for because it connotes the fact that bitcoin can't be its own identity.
