I was reading Kengan Omega and Records of Ragnarok and I think that it can be used for potential betting because the story is ongoing and it is a fight which means that we can put our bets on who wins or whether the round is a draw. RoR has a predetermined roster though so you can only bet on who wins the match and no in-between since it is a fight to the death. That is the likely case that should happen but culture, religion and traditions gets in the way of progress.
