1741  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin for everyone on: June 05, 2021, 06:55:37 AM
The problem here, poor people can't necessarily get bitcoin for free, because of course it gets more expensive on its price, unless there are people who provide help, such as providing opportunities to earn bitcoin in certain ways. Well, from an economic point of view, it's like money in general, but it's not necessarily easy to earn it.
Plus, poor people don't have the necessary devices and requirements to access bitcoin since impoverished people are basically trying to survive a day at a time and an electronic device is the least of their worry.
1742  Economy / Economics / Re: Way's to improve growth economics on: June 05, 2021, 04:35:39 AM
Maybe increase in wages, support in local producers, more taxes for big businesses and a competent and good government will probably do the work. If the economy has a balanced supply and demand with a good surplus of supply,I think the economy will steadily grow.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2021-06-02]"Bitcoin may reach 100000 in 2021" Ivan Petuhovschii co-founder EXMO on: June 04, 2021, 09:01:06 AM
That's a pretty speculative number, we are on a 30k limbo right now and I think that we still have to worry whether the prices are going to go up or down. Don't listen to this people even if they are a positive news, they want to control the market and keep our hopes up and make profit out of it.
1744  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-06-02] Here’s How China’s Crypto FUD Will Play Out on: June 04, 2021, 08:19:13 AM
~

There are news here and there about N Korea hackers being actually on govt payroll.
There are news here and there about N Korea hackers stealing Bitcoin from whatever they can hack - exchanges, users, whatever.
Only a small correlation is necessary to understand that N Korea does have interest in Bitcoin.

From this point to actually using the Bitcoins they may have for anything - from market manipulation to avoiding sanctions - is not such a big step.
I have heard some of those hacks, two of them that are prominent is the Sony hack to prevent the launch of the movie "The Interview" and the one that hit close to home which is the Bangladesh Bank Robbery where they used a branch of a bank in my country Philippines to deposit millions of local currency. I don't think that they have a lot of bitcoin to make a really big impact though.
1745  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-06-02] Here’s How China’s Crypto FUD Will Play Out on: June 04, 2021, 07:31:19 AM
I also think that the most likely is "big thunder little rain".
Of course, they will do other actions (or announcements) when it will suit them. I expect that China and N Korea be some of the biggest whales and manipulators of the market too.
That's a new for me, North Korea being involved bitcoin market. Given how they are struggling with getting foreign currency for the growth of their economy given that they have a really heavy sanction from a lot of international bodies. But I do expect that North Korea is going to play a big role if they decide to get in.
1746  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin's institutional hype is over? Adoption Slowing Down? on: June 04, 2021, 06:38:42 AM
what he said wasn't all wrong. The hype may be over, but institutional investors will not lose interest. the market may look less than excited especially for bitcoin and ethereum, but back to prices when it all started is very low. I believe the market can still hold on until the next rally starts. there will be no market crash like before.
Correct, it only takes one institution to adopt bitcoin and eventually even will follow suit no matter how long, they will eventually go to that point because they will get left behind if they resist progress.
1747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are Bitcoin's Unsung Heroes? on: June 04, 2021, 05:48:45 AM
When it comes to bitcoin, I think of Satoshi first. I'm sorry that I didn't know about the other early participants (now I know some of them).

He is the publisher of bitcoin white paper. We should be grateful to other people who silently contribute to bitcoin, because with them, bitcoin will develop better and better.
Are you stupid or something, OP clearly said the unsung ones meaning that the people that were on the backstage doing the grunt work. Yes you are right but you are off the topic. I think we as users of bitcoin should be part of this unsung ones because we are the lifeblood of the market.
1748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: June 04, 2021, 04:40:29 AM
It's true that it's impossible for bitcoin to replace fiat money. The proof is that currently many countries prohibit bitcoin, how can bitcoin become the world's central currency?
Plus there's only a limited amount of bitcoin for it to be used to circulate on a global economy and it has to be really fast, and I don't think that a lot of people are going to be able to access electronic given that there is still poverty all over the world.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does the epidemic have a big impact on Bitcoin? on: June 04, 2021, 03:29:27 AM
what do you mean, epidemic or pandemic,?? if you say epidemic I don't understand at all what you mean, please correct me, I think the pandemic has a big impact on bitcoin, during the pandemic there will definitely be a lockdown, and people can't travel freely, even go to work, people just spend their free time at home , while playing the internet, and learning more seriously about bitcoin, so during the pandemic more and more people are jumping into bitcoin..
The damage that it caused to traditional financial sector is heavy but it was a really big help for bitcoin market because a lot of people tried to find another way to make money and they discovered bitcoin and they were able to make a lot of money investing in bitcoin during the pandemic. Another problem that is looming is that probably bitcoin market is going to go down after this pandemic is over because people will probably quit for the time being to resume their day jobs.
1750  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you done listening to Elon ? on: June 04, 2021, 02:41:14 AM
To be honest, his influence can be useful for someone who trades because they can use it to their advantage. I still follow him on Twitter just to see the possible thing that may happen in the market next time but I am no sycophant who follows everything Elon says, I just want to be updated in a possible trend.
1751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Haven't Checked Elon Musk's Tweets For 2 Weeks And Don't Plan To! Life Is Good on: June 04, 2021, 01:05:30 AM
His outsized influence on the market means that, against my better judgment, I feel like I need to at least be aware of what he's saying. The fact that he has such apparent sway over crypto prices is deeply troubling, because I sense he considers crypto to be a hobby that only occasionally captures his interest or attention.
That really depends, if you can still think for yourself even if there is a negativity behind the current influence of Elon then it's in your best interest to keep watch since it can help you decide what to do next since his influence can be a trendsetter for the market.

It is so ''toxic'' that earth is literally full of bronze coins, swords and others objects made from bronze and other copper metal alloys.
Here are some articles to support my claim and to refute your sarcastic comment. You pretty much didn't think about my concern.

1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk's tweets violated court orders on: June 03, 2021, 12:25:04 PM
Serves him right. That's clearly a market manipulation in a broad daylight. Glad the SEC do something about it.
If only the people stops following what Elon says in his Twitter account, he might have shut his mouth up long ago after the first try.
Now that everything in the crypto market is falling, Elon isn't the only one to blame, but also the people who has been following him and dumped right after the Bitcoin energy consumption issue that Elon tweeted.
That's pretty unfair don't you think that whenever our interests are good, we want SEC out of our hair but then when it's a big fish trying to do the same thing that we do which is doing what's best for their interest, we want SEC to help us?
1754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was paper money rejected by religions as much as Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2021, 11:22:43 AM
I don't worry about religions because they are all subject to government regulation. Irrational notions will soon be corrected because only the government has the power to enact laws.
Dumbass, most country have a separation of church and state so most religions aren't subjected to government laws, where do you think they get their large amount of money? They got it from the donations and their tax exemption.

I don't think that churches are ready for that kind of thing for their monetary affairs, they want something that they can hold in their hand.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why centralised services are "bad"™... on: June 03, 2021, 10:33:29 AM
I bought a gift card code that wasn't working via Paypal.
I filed a dispute and I escalated to a claim, providing all the necessary screenshots as an evidence.
I lost the claim, because digital items aren't under buyer protection anymore.
This means that you can buy some corrupted pdf file from a scammer and you won't get your money back, even if you provide all the evidence that the file is corrupted.
Paypal got from bad to worse in the last 7-8 years.
Some crypto casinos and crypto exchange platforms aren't any better than Paypal.
That's pretty shitty of the company to made you got to settle court just for a gift card that they could've given to you in a matter of seconds, seems to me that PayPal are getting comfortable fucking over their customers knowing that they have the money for a drawn out battle in court. That's why I don't trust these payment services to buy my crypto in their platform because I know that they will do something from it.
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 03, 2021, 09:41:14 AM
I do think so too since there is a lot of money involved with bitcoin, although I would only be okay about it if I know that the taxes are going to a good place, if it's like my country where corruption is rife, I wouldn't think twice evading those taxes, might as well do the help myself.
1757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi ever come forward? on: June 03, 2021, 08:27:45 AM
To answer your question, I don't think that we are going to see the day that satoshi will ever come forward. Satoshi wants to remain anonymous and I hope that we will respect his wishes to remain anonymous. I don't know exactly what cons or pros will there be if satoshi was to show up but one thing that I know is that we won't see that from happening.
1758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Statue in Hungary on: June 03, 2021, 03:31:20 AM
I wouldn't like the idea that it will be of bronze knowing that it will be toxic to it's surrounding when the time comes, there should be other options besides bronze statue. Also, I love that Hungary put up a statue of satoshi, this is the first time that I have heard of an anonymous personality having their own statue or tribute.
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop the FUD! Enough is enough! on: June 02, 2021, 02:00:21 PM
People who spread FUD in the crypto community are likely to be in a loss position and vent their feelings by giving fear to other users. in the end they will come back with nothing. bitcoin investors must have strong confidence before buying and prepared mental or had strong faith before put any money in bitcoin. because they will also hodl for a long time. it is not easy to convice someone to have that kindda belief in bitcoin. but i'm also agree with you they are not supposed to spread FUD to the crypto community.
Probably that would be the case but for the big ones, they are on the manipulation side of FUD spreading. Hopefully, more and more investors will have this confidence and patience in the market because that's the only thing that is going to keep those FUDs ineffective.
1760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is Going to "DEAD....!" Need Discussion..... on: June 02, 2021, 01:08:39 PM
BTC is fine. If you do not think so, I am ready to buy it from you, at a reduced price.
I assume that OP doesn't have any bitcoin in possession because he is spreading FUD about bitcoin, OP is waiting for the prices to go down too, I mean that's the only reason someone's spreads FUD, they want to make sure that they can buy at a really low price so they can profit when the prices goes up again.
