this wont change the world of mining.. yet..

5000 usd of 1070s, mined 310 LBC yesterday.. 0.04 BTC...24usd... 210 days ROI only for the cards... Cry Cry Cry

you should take resale value into account.

My pascal rig is using much more cpu than the maxwell one (so it wastes a bit of power).
Probably a driver or cuda issue, maybe linux only.

Why only 20k.  Largest amount I sent do far to nova Is 50 million. What was the error message you get?

At first i was able to send 3 million to Novaexchange.
But then the limit got smaller to 1 million, and then the sending limit got even smaller and smaller after several transactions.
Now my limit got down to 20,000.

With the sending limit getting down after each transactions, this will took me months or year to send all my ESP1 to Novaexchange.
Plus my ESP1 wallet is too slow and always crash or stuck.
There need a better way to exchange my ESP1 to ESP2....i don't want to lose all my ESP1 when the deadline over  Sad

You can try using the commandline client to make a little batch for sending a lot of small amounts.

Thanks @pallas for the suggestion,
But i don't know how to send using the commandline client..... i'm not really a tech guy.

If you are on linux, I can guide you.
If on windows, there is a guy who posted a sending utility for windows a couple pages back in this thread.

once tracked, they are in git... gitignore just ignore the junk when you do git add

so you need to git rm & commit to remove that from git.

m4/ we dont care, we just "need" an empty folder (os specific stuff)

Let me get this straight. Git created and started tracking files that it knows shouldn't be tracked but I'm supposed to clean
up the mess.

It also deleted the m4 directory which is needed.

If I can't upload a snapshot and trust that GIT won't fuck things up I won't use it.

you can even screw the currect cpus and build your own :-D

You don't need visual basic and rpc for that, just run the command line client.

I've opened an issue on github about the Qt usage in daemon code already.

+3-5% hashrate on my 1070, with the same power limit.
275-285Mh. can anyone tell me how to overclocking to get 320M or so? thanks!
320m requires high power limit => high voltage and high consumpion (190watt). You need a card with good cooling like Palit gamerock or jetstream. And economicaly it is not worth it.
Better to go with 120-130 watt and 280-300 mhs

Does the Palit have good cooling system? Ball bearing fans? I thought it was a cheap brand.

this project looks dead, or?

Volume on exchange is still very good and it gets pumped from time to time.
It might be worth taking over by some coin dev, if the original ones do not work on it any longer.
The original concept is still pretty useful and it might be applied to other coins as well.
I think this is one of those few coins that will stay for long.

Hello guys, can anyone help me recover my espers. I have a backup of wallet.dat which is very old. I replaced wallet.dat file on a new pc that I installed esper client. When I try to open esper I get error. Please help!

I assume your backup is of espers v1, since it's old.
Are you trying to use it with the new wallet? If so, that's why it doesn't work.
2492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: September 20, 2016, 07:37:44 AM
@Dev, Installed the new v8.4.2 client - but where did my previous Espers go?

Importing my private keys (dumped in the previous version) gives the error: Invalid private key (code -5).

Did you backup ur wallet b4 u installed the new client? Or are u saying u just tried to use the private keys from V1 in the V2 wallet?

found a way to circumnavigate the situation, not that difficult. so no facepalm - if anyone encounters the same issue (or trying to use wallet.dat backup from V1 into V2), have fun and good luck!

i have backup of the wallet.dat and the private keys.
but yes - i tried to use/import the private keys from V1 (v8.0.5) into the V2 (or v8.4.2).

wait...are you going to share with us the details of what happened, and how you solved the problem?  You can't just leave us hanging with a 'good luck'  Angry

Ask facepalm dude! Just kidding.

Basically I just installed the previous ESPERS client (V1 or v8.0.5) and I can see my Espers again. What I found out is that thw wallet.dat from the V1 is not compatible (cannot be used) with the newer Espers client (V2 v8.4.2). And also importing your prviate keys generating from V1 are now accepted in the V2.

And the new Espers client will also create a separate directory in your %appdata% (for windows).

Maybe Dev has to put some instructions somewhere.

And dev - was the client only meant after the swap has been made?

ESP1 and ESP2 are different chains, only way to move from 1 to 2 is by coin swap on novaexchange.
Or buying and selling, of course.

Another 0.02 although I don't use the miner yet ...  Grin

It's just a way to show appreciation of your work.

so a month later still noone donated at least 0.01 or 0.02???

Nothing since the 2 donations at the beginning.

SENT MY DONATION--

Sorry for the delay.  I sent 2 bits your way, not very big, but nearly 1/2 my earnings for about 24 hours mining XCN.  Back to Library Credits (LBC) at the moment.

You know, tsiv's XMR CCminer has been sleeping away since 2014.  If you brought it up to date, your portfolio would contain two significant niche products.  His XMR CCminer compiles easily on Linux, but has no optimizations for the new Pascal cards.       --scryptr

Thanks!
Time permitting, I'll have a look at the cryptonight miner.

I would like to send via CLI wallet to the exchange without using the GUI wallet, because the GUI wallet hangs on me , I can only send max 60k espers at a time and each transaction takes more than 5 minutes without crashing.
How do I go about sending it without the GUI client. Help would be much appricaiated. I have been doing this for a week with a gui sending small amounts at a time.

With bash:

for i in `seq 1 10`; do ./espersd sendtoaddress address amount; done

what happened to the sp windows version he was working on it, and suddently stopped because of a problem on the cpu validation, and then, forgotten?

btw is your version of 30MH hashpower for the 1070, available on github, or private?

Unless my pc got hacked, I'm the only one using it ;-)

Why is my hash rate dropping about 10% after 8 hours? Is that any problem with the pool or am I doing something wrong?

not sure. what algo are you using? haven't seen any other reports of similar issues.

skein. Miner says 520 and on my wallet page is approx 500. but after 8 hours it starts dropping to 420. I have tried different miners from tpruvot or klausT but that is even worse. These miners hashing 450 or 520 respectively but on the wallet page there is only 360 or 420 respectively. I have Gigabyte gtx 1070 G1 and Pentium G3220 with 8GB RAM.

Are you using opensource sp ccminer? If yes, it does have a bug, causing it to show higher hashrate than real. I've posted the fix some time ago, but there is no precompiled binary available yet.

I'm receiving the following message for all the  ESP2. that I mined. Do anyone know why I'm not getting the mined ESP2

Generated but not accepted

Status: conflicted, broadcast through 1 node
Date: 9/17/16 20:54
Source: Generated
Debit: 0.00 ESP
Net amount: -70129464.28610662 ESP
Transaction ID: 60ba49e49080a24860f21dbf4a59920f4bc270422ffaa298d73e7200db7cd94b-000

Generated coins must mature 90 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

That is what is known as an Orphan block.  It happens all the time with POS coins.  Everyone who is staking their coins will undoubtedly encounter this message in their transaction list, so know that you are not the only one.

Basically what this message means is that someone solved the block a fraction of a second before you did, so they ended up with the rewards instead of you.

But unlike PoW you don't loose anything: you'll take the reward on the next block you generate.

I always use english as system language: one reason is that if I need to paste an error to someone, or search it on google, I have much higher chance of success. And many others.

Besides...

It looks like you are not using cuda 8, but can't be sure.
