2481  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: [ANN] FAILCoin | Scrypt Hybrid PoW/PoS 2.0 | Worldwide Team | Launched | EmpoEx on: May 03, 2015, 01:48:58 PM
Dear FAILers,

We have some news regarding FAILCoin's future development. This is how the next phase will be:

1. New QT wallet and 5 or 7 more hard coded nodes.
2. Our own block explorer.
3. Android (and eventually iOS) staking wallet/s.
4. New improved logo (as we mentioned in our previous posts)
5. Coinmarketcap

Everything should be done by the end of the month, but this is no ETA. More important is that we will deliver.

In the next phase, we plan something, which is really unique and will be first of its kind in cryptoworld.

Part of our first step is now finished.

We rented 7 VPS and locations are: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.
FAIL will also have 2 or 3 more nodes located at Netherlands, Switzerland and probably France.

This is just for start, because we plan to rent at least 2 more nodes located at South America and Africa.

Our next wallet release will have 9 or 10 hard coded nodes in it.

Stay FAILed!

Best regards,
Spartak

Honestly, 48k worth of mining equipment doesn't sound like enough to lie and brag about...even a used skid steer loader is 25k!

Despite your joke it was really something back in the days. Those ASICs were able to mine about $800-$1100/day worth of alts so...
2483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper "Pumpgroup" SCAM on: May 03, 2015, 12:53:00 PM
you are a stupid man

what nonsense are you speaking bro

Crypto is your job, and HE pays you? ON every 10 days? and 30% of the profit?  Cheesy Did you drop out of school at the age of twelve?

any fool can register a company, and just because you are one of said fools who have registered a company doesn't mean your company makes any real money, or you would be working on your company and not worshiping other males on some online forum

you are out here on your knees with every pump and dumpers dick shoved deep into the back of your throat, you are nothing but a misguided lady boy

Any idiot with an internet connection can say he owns 48k worth of mining equipment why dont you take some pictures and show us some proof? Stand in front of your rigs and hold up a newpaper with todays date and also with a piece of paper showing your user name

you cant do that can you?

i wonder why Cheesy

What I said was serious and I would advice you to be careful how you are addressing me, because in real life that "lady boy" (which is actually 34) can break your jaw.

Tomorrow I must go to office and I can easily make the pictures, but I don't feel the need doing it. ocminer and minerpools for example can confirm that I own 7 x 60MH A2 Terminator's. I have them since May 2014 and I travelled to Netherlands to buy them locally.

You can now continue to be jerk on other threads.

Take care.

...

Your are really a jerk, but I feel the need to answer you.

1. I am not putting Wolong on Warren Buffett's level, because it will not be serious. It was just an example (expression).
2. I HATE pumpers and I have always said it. Comparing some people doesn't need that we love or worship them.
3. You want to talk about me? OK. In my real life I have investor, cryptocurrencies are currently my real job, he pays me salary on every 10 days and 30% of the profit. Last year we bought 48,000 euro worth of mining equipment. I have VAT registered company called Cryptoventures LRD and you can check the domain here. You will find my personal information and you can understand If I'm joking or not.

Now please stop judging people by some posts!

Hey, Jack,

I just talked with FAIL dev. We will have vanitygen as well, but can't give ETA on it.

EDIT: Jack, try standart one with the command /vanitygen -X 35 -i name. We just tested it and it worked.

P.S. Btw, if anyone has ideas about future developments can share them here. We are open to discuss everything.

Cheers,
Spartak

It comes down to investor / trade due diligence - exchanges are not places of enforcement.

We already covered that and it's obvious, but sometimes given actions can hurt cryptocurrencies in general and this is my biggest concern. No need for more discussions.

Cheers,
Spartak
2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ryan Pumper "Pumpgroup" SCAM on: May 03, 2015, 11:04:46 AM
If we talk about pumpers, no one of mentioned can be compared with Wolong. Look on what he did with Doge and later with Panda.
Wolong was never consistent same with the other names. All most of them ever did was tell you something was happening while it was happening.

It doesn't have to be consistent. I meant pumps and his wallet in general. It's like comparing Warren Buffett with average stock trader. When Wolong made pumps, BTC was at different price and we are talking about 100s of thousands $... maybe even millions.

I just love how real life and work are so often used as argument for not delivering. Like only developers have real life and others are just trolls and suckers who lives in here. You can't just "create" something, sell (the idea or whatever) to people at some price and then talk about real life liabilities. Imho, when someone launches a coin, he is obliged to support it no matter what. Everyone must think about the consequences and what can happen before you launch something, otherwise it is completely waste of time (which in my eyes can be considered as scam as well).
As I previously said, I will lose about ~$40 if COV goes to 0 and I don't really care, but I am so sorry for people who bought it at x5-7 price of the current one (I also bought high, but managed to sell even higher with good profit).

Coin isn't dead nor have I "vanished, but I cannot post more than I already have done/and or have begun working on. If you get inpatient; aim your frustrations at myself. If I go away, its because I'm attending to real life work or my life; you should know I'm coming back; and no I have 0 COV nor have accumulated and if were talking "profits"; this project has consumed a majority of my funds, but more importantly my time, being a main reason I am continuing to  work and complete COV.

Why should someone believe you that you will finish your work if you have 0 COV? I'm not fuding - just asking.
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LITECOIN and DASH on: May 03, 2015, 08:52:07 AM
What LTC and Dash is better that BTC? What a joke LTC and Dash are all just numbered. Atleast bitcoin still has strong development and it will not collapse.

While I don't like Dash I can't understand what is your problem with LTC? coblee said it straight - LTC does not need gimmicks, it needs adoption. I can name more than 20 coins which are better as technology, but so what? It's like real money - some currencies looks worse than others, but they worth more.
2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [COV] Coven [3% PoS/33k Supply][Indistinguishability Obfuscator/Anno Feat] on: May 03, 2015, 08:43:59 AM
This one can be easily saved. Dev can buy like 5-10% of the coin for peanuts (~$500) and he can make real good profit if he deliver. Currently low supply prevents the coin to be dumped hard, but it also affects the network (not many people hold their coins in the wallet). Imo it was pretty stupid decision for the dev to disappear.

P.S. Network is a bit better in the past 2 days.
2492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FAILCoin | Scrypt | Plans and Updates | Cryptocloudhosting | EmpoEx on: May 03, 2015, 08:39:12 AM
Good to see that there is so many nodes around the world. How much did it cost you for the seven nodes? It's great to have a Singapore nodes, I live in Singapore. So.. syncing should be fast.

I tried -X 35 Fai on Vanitygen and it dont seem to work..

Hello,

We bought them from 2 providers - Host1Plus and Digitalocean. Total price is $40/month and we paid them for 3 months. We intend to pay them for at least 1 year soon after new wallets are released.

Frankly speaking.. when you asked about vanitygen, FAIL dev was online and he give me that solution, but now I can't really help you. Will ask him when we talk next time.

Cheers,
Spartak

Honestly, i don't think Cryptsy can be blamed here...If you check how many DEVs leave their coin. Cryptsy took the right steps in my eyes, as 007 really had some interesting feautures planned and was trading pretty heavily. When a ICO is sold in 48 mins, then i would also add it to my exchange, honestly.

Of course they can be blamed. Cryptsy was exchange on which it was pretty difficult to be listed. In my eyes, the coin was somehow legit just because they listed it. I though that "the dev" proved something to them. Don't really know how much BTC were gathered and I think that the volume wasn't that great to attract attention of bigger exchanges. They can't be blamed for listing coins with big volume, because they exist because of that - volume, but imho this is not the case here.

P.S. placebo, you are cancer to cryptocurrencies. All you care is make an ICO, take % of it, sell at profit and move to another. Don't know in how many ICO's you were involved, but I think that 100% of them are either scam or completely disaster. While I find normal people to gather funds for developing (yes, I can understand ICO's and somehow approve them.. nobody is working for free), I don't like you attitude.

2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most liquid altcoin? on: May 02, 2015, 12:45:57 PM
No, Ripple.  Or anything for that matter.  Rocks, marbles.. whatever...  If the value went from .01 to 10 USD, would it even matter what it is?

Of course not. The only coin I love is FAIL and probably VIA in some way (recently disliked SFR, because Roshan is not that active). Others don't matters to me.
2499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most liquid altcoin? on: May 02, 2015, 12:38:40 PM
Okay, got it, but in my view Ripple is not a fully decentralized crypto coin as the most other ones.

Maybe that's the beauty in it and makes it different. Smiley I don't like the concept, but it is something which can make you profit. It's like 95% of the coins out there - we don't like them, but we day trade them.

But if it went from .01 to 10 USD, would that matter to you?  Honestly...

You mean Litecoin?
2500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most liquid altcoin? on: May 02, 2015, 12:23:52 PM
...people will go for litcoin if bitcoon collapsed

If Bitcoin collapse there will be no Litecoin or altcoins in that matter. Smiley
