Gentlemen and ladies Halaand has been sold until the next GW. I got Kane to play against Bournemouth.
I am not selling Haalnd for sure, too much money tied in him to make that switch and even if it weren't that means at least 2 free transfers which is usually not good unless your team is in perfect shape and you have no need for transfers elsewhere.

Pep is acting strange this season, both Haaland and Cancelo were sick and had temperature before last game and they both played so i don't know what to think anymore.

The problem is when sell a player to bring in him in next week, you'd lose some transfer budget, and I've also got Rodrigo on some knock.

Only way I'd sell Haaland is if I'm gonna go without him for the remaining two weeks after tomorrow, I really haven't made my mind up yet as to how to go about it, but I'll come up with something

So you guys think Leicester can get a goal in vs City or is there some value in City win to nil at 2.32?

The odds look good in terms of value, but I'd gladly pass on it, because I think are easily going to concede a goal or two, Haaland is likely not to start, so I'm sure Guardiola tactical ingenuity might come to hunt him again because I'm quite looking forward a couple of tweaks if Haaland doesn't start then it's likely we'll have De Bruyne play further forward while I like the calm he and composure he brings when playing deeper.

They are closer to the league than they have been in the past 50 years lol  Grin, so maybe it's time to use the blank cheque. They have a very tactical coach, and if they must stay in the top 10, at the very least, they need squad depth. Sooner or later, the pressure of being in the top four will start getting to the players' heads.

I believe the new buyers understand football, like someone here already mentioned and building an efficient squad takes more than just an all out buy, which often almost never works immediately for any team, they've got a really decent coach that can identify what's needed to make the team better and I believe that's quite evident with every transfer they made so far, I believe If they club retains Howe for at least 3-4 seasons with the kind of budget he's got, there will be another big team to worry about for the likes of Chelsea, City and Liverpool.

I don’t know man. I think the Brooklyn Nets looked like they just got a bunch of guys together at a pick up game. They were making a lot of turnovers just by not knowing the plays. Not to mention Ben Simmons has some sort of mental issues that keep him from shooting the ball, especially when wide open in the key. It’s going to be a frustrating season for them for sure, but with Durant on the team they might still be dangerous as an 8 seed.

I understand your point and I quite agree, especially with Ben Simmons, but he's just got to face it, and the only way to get through it, is to go through it. but that asides he made some pretty solid defensive plays and decisions with setting screens and whatnot, if only Kyrie Irving and Durant, even Royce have had the shot fall, they could have won, or at least stand a better chance.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 27, 2022, 07:03:06 PM
Im really lose in this season, i didnt follow so much the preseason and the transfer-market so i have to start to follow and see a few matches to know something.

Brookling keep being shit?. A stars team but not a real team. What a disgrace for Nets fans.

Boston solid as fuck, and Portland the surprise?.

Brooklyn Nets actually looks pretty solid too me rn, but they just still out of sync, they made good plays last night but their just shots just would not fall into the basket, they stood a pretty decent chance to win the game last night, but it was all down to their very poor FGM% and some little details, once they get that sorted, they should surely be the real deal.

That being said I'm still going to fade on them tonight and back the Mavericks, but I'll only be settling for the ML

The VAR gave me a chance to win a multiple ticket after Kane's goal was disallowed for being offside. The sum of the odds was 124 . I achieved close results for most of the matches, but they did not make me move up the ladder. I think it is time to work towards getting the right results. Grin
Today we have many UEFA matches worth betting I will settle for a draw for Arsenal

Just way too many dramas for one Uefa Champions League night, from Harry Kane's goal (looks pretty solidly legal to me), and I've also seen several top football analysts argue why the goals should have been allowed, but VAR, you just might never be sure until they give their verdict, often solely based on their own discretion.

Another drama was Atletico Madrid getting a penalty after the final whistle have already been blown, first time I'm witnessing sure a drama tbh, they eventually lost the penalty while the save fell kindly enough for them, but the send attempt hit the crossbar, and still fell quite nice enough for them, only for them to have it deflected by a whisker too, all in the space of less 30 seconds, not just their night to be, I'd say.

^  I haven't really been watching a lot of the EPL but I kinda expected Newcastle to do a bit better than they did during seasons prior as they're being backed financially by Saudi oilers now.  And they're manager is decent.  I've always rooted for Eddie Howe and have said that he's gonna be a manager of a bigger club in the coming years.  I guess this is his big break.

I think they're doing a lot better than they're getting credit for, just because they have a blank cheque which haven't been put to a full use yet and their biggest signing have barely been of much use too, meanwhile the team seem to be highly motivated.

They've lost just only one game (to Liverpool, which was a 98th minute goal, as well) despite having played against teams like Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and even this season's somewhat impressive at the early stage's Brighton, I'd say that deserves some commendation to say the least, and despite all of these aforementioned fixtures, they've conceded the least amount of goals compared to any other team in the league, only City, Chelsea and Arsenal comes joint second in the aspect, meanwhile they've all played a fixture less than Newcastle.

Newcastle also have one of the best goal difference +10 or goal scored to goal conceded ratio 2:1 in the league currently as well, also only just Man City and Arsenal (slightly) have done better in that aspect.

For what it's worth, I think their season so far is nothing short of a brilliant success, considering the fixture they've played so far and what's left for the first half of the season, it probably can only get better, however, that's just my personal opinion and it's solely based on an informed guess..
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 27, 2022, 11:39:27 AM
Easy, usually the Lakers would only have a good start but will be unable to end with a win, probably because they don't have a deep roster and Westbrook was not playing as well. I would say I miss this game as I bet on the opposite, I overthink so much thinking it's a trap.

The fourth defeat at the start of the season is a very unexpected result, but Darwin Ham is trying to be optimistic, and says that this is only the beginning, and there are still 78 matches ahead, but what else remains for him to do. And according to ESPN Stats & Info, the Lakers have the worst shooting percentage in a four-game opening in NBA history, out of 148 long-range shots, only 33 achieved their goal a mere 22.3%.

That's what their attitude last year from Vogel, that they are not affected and that it is too early. But guess what, one worst shooting game turns into like a bunch and then they got injured or something until they are too deep that they can't recovered anymore.

So hopefully Ham should learn from this last year, they should start to get a win and put it in succession. So that at least there will be no pointing as to who is to blame when we are in the middle of the season and still the Lakers are way below the standing.

Congrats to those who win their bet today.

I remember that when critics throw lots of negative opinions when they form the squad last year, combining all those old stars that will
surround LeBron, back then they can make excuse since both LeBron and AD were most of the time are injured

But this new season is far different from we can see. Both AD and LeBron are trying to win, but the supporting / role players are not finding
the rhythm and the help that both stars needed.

I really don't want to brag WB name, but it should start from him, still early. But if they don't change the system, maybe it will
again repeat what happened last season.

I think Lakers problem actually trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, I think having Lebron might actually be a part of that problem because of the expectation of him to single handedly carry them along side a barely usually healthy Anthony Davis all season long, AD is always barely healthy and was already holding is back yesterday again, even LeBron had an awful night yesterday, so at least there was no finger pointing towards WestBrook. AD is a fantastic player and option for Lakers when fit, but how many of the 82 regular games can he be predicted to be actually available for, and I'm not talking about major surgery or injuries, and as for Westbrook, I actually believe he's fall off his usual best, but not by so much imo, if we're being honest statistically, he's always been stats paddling and we all probably know it already, and I also think he's just being primarily tasked with doing tasks he's not accustomed to, he's wasn't praised in his former teams for dropping points like LeBron each night so expectation of such standards is highly ridiculous imo, and he's succumbing to those pressures by trying to do too much, which only leads to more problems for him and the team as a whole.

Miracle win for Viktoria Plzen, but FC Barcelona get destroyed by Bayern so Inter Milan qualify to the next round. Perfect scenario. 10 bucks on Plzen @23 odds and Barca going back to europa league, couldn't ask for more  Grin

In the prime time no more luck for me, really hilarious results we have, Benfica 4-3 Juventus....
Laughable. What a fall from grace from Juventus. I read that the main reason why Allegri doesn't get the boot is because it could cost Juve around 40M to sack him, wtf!! KO from the CL, 10 pts behind Serie A leaders and they have to keep the main culprit behind this shitshow for the rest of the season. Nightmare

I hope one of your perfect scenario turns out to be true, but definitely not the latter... I'm not optimistic enough to think Inter would lose to Victoria Plzen, but should that happen I'll definitely have my money on Barcelona to win.

I'm not anticipating a lot of twists and turns tonight, I currently have Bayern and Barcelona on BTTS as well as Tottenham vs Sporting Lisbon and, Ajax vs Liverpool.

J. Valanciunas 10+ rebounds + CJ. McCollum 5+ assists @1.83

source: https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/basketball/nba/player-news?team=186
Quote
Zion Williamson (right posterior hip, low back contusion) and Herbert Jones (right knee extension) have been downgraded to out for Tuesday's matchup with the Mavericks, the team announced on Twitter.

Herb Jones and Zion have been ruled out for tonight's game, BI is still in concussion protocols and will not play either, that's three starters missing for the Pels.

Valanciunas has only failed to reach 10 rebounds in one game so far, and it's difficult not to see him doing so with the aforementioned absent players.  With Ingram playing limited minutes, CJ finished with 12 assists against Utah and should be the primary facilitator and scorer for NO today. My only concern here is the Mavs run away with the score early, and Pels don't play their starters in the 4Q. I hope that's not the case and that the Pels stay competitive until the end despite being shorthanded.

Seem our fate are somewhat intertwined for tonight, I got some bills on Valanciunas over 11.5 rebs + CJ McCollum Over 5.5 assists and Chris Wood Over 7.5  Rebs from the second tipoff of tonight, I believe Chris Wood is more of complete Center than what the Mavericks had with Powell, but I hope he gets better minutes than JaVale McGee being preferred as the starter but getting lesser minutes.

EDIT: Despite being an entertaining game, it was a really weird one statistically, and I think Pelicans having to dig deep into their played a major factor there.

However, City and PSG match are my today's two matches.
And my big bet is City is going to draw the match against Dortmund with an odd of 4.40, I know that's possibly very unlikely to be happened lol. In the pool, I have picked the same output too. I need some different results to get to the top (Am I expecting to be  Cheesy)
And Real Madrid to draw against Leipzig @3.55
Should I make it a multi  Cheesy

I hope you didn't make the bet a multi and went with the singles instead, at least you'd have hit that beautiful City draw, I really was expecting an explosive game between both sides, but it seems that's the switch places with Benfica vs Juventus, what an impressive display from Benfica all through the 5 games, they're still yet to lose a game, defeated Juventus both home and away, and were also able to hold PSG to draw over both fixtures as well, this is some 2-5 years ago Ajax-esque display and I'd say they are side to be very weary of regardless of their opponents gets to be in knockout stages.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: October 25, 2022, 04:57:47 PM
Barcelona is already in Europa League so it is of no threat to Bayern despite playing at home. From a betting perspective though and since Barcelona will be playing in front of 99.000 persons in their legendary stadium the odd of 2.20 may a good one to try,the same for Bayern as it has a 2.80 odd.

I don't think there will much fire tomorrow, Bayern does not need points and Barca is close to be in EL
there is rivarly, but both teams have to concentrate to domestic leagues as well

back to tonight's matches, Dinamo vs Milan is an interesting one, somehow do not think that Milan will win tonight, and they need it for next round
Chelsea is closer to win in Salzburg

I'm not going to make much of Barcelona game, except of course something interesting happens at Italy between Inter and Plzen, either way, I'll be expecting goals at both ends.

I really don't think Milan vs Zagreb would be an entertaining match to see and I don't even see much goals in it, I'll likely be tuned into Man City vs Dortmund, or Juventus vs Benfica, both matches should be quite dramatic and/or entertaining.

2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 25, 2022, 12:19:13 PM
There are two kinds of Barcelona at the moment. The one in the La Liga is in a much stronger position. They lost to only Real Madrid so far and their general performance is really amazing. The other kind is doing really bad in the Champions League. It is like they care about winning the La Liga title more than being successful in the Champions League.

I don't think any team will be more focused on the league than Champions League, at least not this early, but I understand your drift, they tend to look like two different teams, but If were being honest, the result the team has gotten from champions league matches doesn't really portray what transpired in those games, Barcelona could justifiably won each of their last 3 games, the result weren't just in their favor, they were the team in each and every of those matches, even if it's just slightly better but the 3 points is all that matters in the end, and It's an awful situation to be in, honestly.

8 games today guys, share your picks.  Wink

I want the Jazz to keep the streak so I am betting for them. Jazz -3.5 vs Houston Rockets
They may be tired from a back-to-back game but they are a young team so I think they can manage somehow.

One more bet for a young team Orlando Magic +7.5 vs the New York Knicks.
It's their 3rd losing streak, they might be itching to make that one win, if not, keep the game close and I might cover the spread.

I'm fancying a couple over and under bets, rather than the spread, I'm still getting used to new season, and players at different teams.

Raptors vs Miami Heat are playing for the second time in 3 days, It was a scrappy game the other night and both barely able to the Overs, despite an early high scoring half, I would expect much of the same style of play/result, So I find the Over 214.5 to be of decent value and, that'd be my call.

Congrats to Darbit and LFC_Bitcoin on the yellow cap,we are sharing this prize so pretty happy with the week. Didnt expect in the end three yellow caps but thats how intresting it was. Also too bad Bournemouth didnt score at least one goal they were playing so good in the end of the match but not much chances for them.

It was a terrible week for me in the pool, I was able to rack up just 4 points in total and I dropped by 5 places all the way to 15th, Kudos to all of you guys sharing the yellow cap because It wasn't an easy week and and 10.5 points as the joint best also shows how tough the week was on an average.

I was also rooting for Bournemouth to score a goal, I had BTTS on a bet slip and I also went with 2-1 in the pool, so it could have been a win-win situation had that happened.
2500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: October 24, 2022, 06:41:45 PM
I cant belive this Barcelona its again going to play the Europa League.

Lewandowsky its playing exceptional, in some plays i think even better than before in the Bayern Munich. He is mading some "golazos" every game.

For anyone who play soccer knows that, how he turns and shoot and make the defender pass away in only one movement its really impresive.
This Barca side looks incredible when everything clicks into the place, they are playing free flowing football and scoring almost at will. But there is also other side to this Barca and that is defensive fragility and no real way to turn the game back to their side after falling behind. We have seen that best in CL, Barca is good and making chances, very unlucky not to score and then opponents punish them and Barca disappears from he pitch.

This Barca side has a lot of potential but they are still not ready for competition like CL, maybe EL is more in their range.

That's the fact I've actually been trying to emphasize since the beginning of this season, there's definitely room for improvements in certain areas of the team, but they're a beautiful team in progress, I know they're a lot expectations and the results haven't entirely gone in Barca's favor in certain instances.

Getting eliminated early in the UCL was just them being unlucky, because both matches they lost, they should have gotten a point or more from either them and didn't play awfully too, but the team still lack a bit chemistry and the new guys at the heart of defense are struggling with fitness and knocks, but everything in attack and midfield are doing literally quite alright.
