Thanks for the new thread @cygan. Bookmarked it. I'll definitely have to try to get tickets to some of the games. I had forgotten that the 2024 tournament takes place in Germany. The games in the qualifiers look pretty interesting. Many attractive matches in the various groups. Especially group B with France and the Netherlands and group C with Italy and England should be interesting. It's almost to be expected that one of the favorites will stumble again and not qualify for the tournament in Germany. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

he has already played in 3 world cups, I wonder if he will play in this world cup, if he plays it will be the 4 world cup he is the last world cup for him, it will be a very good feat. but germany is not as strong as in the past, i doubt they will get very far in this world
If he stays fit, he will definitely be in the German squad for the next World Cup. 100% sure. You can see it in the current season at FC Bayern Munich. Thomas Müller is still one of the top performers - despite the fact that he is now 33 years old. Source: https://www.transfermarkt.de/thomas-muller/profil/spieler/58358In the current season, he already has three goals and six assists. Given Bayern's mixed season, that's a very good performance in my opinion.

FC Bayern is interested in signing Konrad Laimer and currently has the best chances in the race for the Leipzig central midfielder. Julian Nagelsmann is a big fan of the 25-year-old and already wanted to sign him in the past. At the moment, Bayern are leading the race to sign Konrad Laimer. Julian Nagelsmann wanted him in 2021 and in 2022 and he’s pushing for Laimer as a priority in 2023. English clubs have been in touch with his agent but it’s still early stages. Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1583096475541639169In addition to FC Bayern, several English clubs are also interested in signing Laimer. Especially FC Chelsea. Transfermarket is showing the following probabilities: Source: https://www.transfermarkt.de/konrad-laimer/profil/spieler/223967IMHO, I don't know exactly what to make of a transfer of Laimer. FC Bayern is already extremely strong in midfield and instead of a new midfielder I would be in favor of signing another striker. What do you guys think?

Hey boys, I haven't looked into this thread for a while. Things in the CL aren't going so poorly for me after all. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) But to calm you down: I have as little idea how the games turn out as you do. I guess I'm just very lucky at the moment. On the other hand, things are going all the worse in the Bundesliga and Premier League betting rounds. Therefore, do not be angry if I am currently on top. It certainly won't stay that way until the end. And maybe I'll really type 4:4 a few times to keep things exciting. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

a small reminder for the users who have not yet predicted the 11th matchday ... you still have ~26 hours to submit your picks ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) There are still five users missing their picks and the Friday game FSV Mainz 05 vs. 1. FC Köln starts in about 3 hours already. @Trofo @LTU_BTC @darbit @Saint-Loup @cls63 Time to add your picks boys! Don't miss it! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Hoffenheim vs. Bayern will also be an interesting challenge for Bayern, as Hoffenheim has won against Schalke 4-0 and 5-1 recently. Hoffenheim is showing a good performance recently.
No worries buddy. FC Bayern will pound Hoffenheim into the ground. Easy 3:0 Bayern! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?
The best way to get over a big loss is to not let it get that far in the first place. You have to ask yourself, why do big losses occur in betting in the first place? It is always due to the greed of the player who plays with too high stakes and then loses. That is why it is essential ( !) to have a decent bankroll management when betting or playing other games like Poker or Blackjack. This is the only way to ensure that you stick to your strategy even in a downswing and continue to make the right decisions. Otherwise, you run the risk of raising the stakes to recoup your losses and end up losing even more. That's why the most important thing is discipline, only in this way you stay with your A-game.

Qatar is only the host of the 2022 world cup and they benefit from playing at home and having to play the Netherlands, Senegal and Ecuador will certainly be difficult to get through. In each of these countries there are star players like Sadio Mane, Memphis Depay, and many more. So I think if Qatar can win it's only because of luck.
Tbh, I see it that way, too. Qatar is the clear underdog in its group against Netherlands, Senegal and Ecuador. Of course, in the past years a lot of money was invested in infrastructure and training to improve the team. Whether it helps in the end to prevail against heavyweights like Netherlands remains to be seen. I suspect rather no. Furthermore, I think it will not be easy to meet the high demands of the rulers in Qatar. Anyway there is a good reason to be excited. The host country is always good for a surprise. That's why I wouldn't write off Qatar quite yet.

First, in your opinion, what would be a reasonable amount to give his girlfriend?
Pretty simple thing IMHO: if the money was stolen from his girlfriend before, it's her money. If a bet was subsequently placed with the girlfriend's money, she is also entitled to the winnings. That is why I do not understand why the woman does not sue for the full amount. Of course the $40m is a high amount, but with the right lawyers, one should try to get the whole $100m. In a later settlement, you could always settle for half the amount. So why start with $40m? That doesn't make sense to me.

I don't know if this has been a topic here already, but its a pretty horrific story. A Spanish football fan who was walking 7,000 km to attend the World Cup in Qatar went missing just before reaching Qatar. His friends haven't heard from him since October 1st. There are rumors that he may be held captive by the Iranians. Man goes missing while on 7,000km hike to football World Cup in Qatar
A Spanish football fan has disappeared while attempting to complete a 7,000km trek to Qatar. Santiago Sanchez Cogedor, 40, was crossing Iraqi Kurdistan, also known as Southern Kurdistan, as part of a huge hike from Madrid to the World Cup tournament when he went missing Source: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/man-goes-missing-while-on-7000km-hike-to-football-world-cup-in-qatar/A sad story. I hope he turns up again and is doing well. Otherwise, the FIFA World Cup in Qatar would have claimed another victim. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

Its very likely that Lucas Hernández will be extending his contract at FC Bayern. He is in talks with the club bosses. However, all parties agreed there is no rush - but its likely that he will be extending. Hernandez still has a contract until 30.06.2024. German Sky Sport news is reporting: Lucas Hernández is very likely to extend his contract at FC Bayern, but not in the next few days. Talks are positive but the bosses are not in a hurry at the moment [@Plettigoal] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1583418822794829825IMHO, it would be great if FC Bayern would extend with the player. Hernandez shows top performances week by week and has developed to one of the best defenders at Bayern.

FC Bayern striker Thomas Müller was today awarded the "Personal Prize of the Bavarian Prime Minister" Prize by Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder for his services to German soccer. As part of the 2022 Bavarian Sports Awards, Thomas Müller was awarded the "Personal Prize of the Bavarian Prime Minister" for his outstanding services. Müller received the trophy from Bavaria's Prime Markus Söder during a visit to Säbener Straße [fcb] Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1583438757369610240In my opinion: A fully deserved award for Thomas Müller. There is hardly any other player who has shown such achievements through passion, fighting spirit and great play in recent years. A big congratulations! Very well deserved!

I don't think that Union Berlin is a placeholder in there top of the Bundesliga table. I feel that they are here to contest for the title. We know that it is difficult for them to achieve it when there is Bayern Munich in the league but I am having this feeling that if you Union Berlin will be at the top of the table till January they will buy good players who will help them to maintain the title race till the end. I am so much supporting them and I will not bet against them. Instead I will avoid them in my bet.
Union Berlin doesn't have the funds to buy top quality players during the winter break. We're not in the Premier League. They are playing an outstanding season, but IMHO sooner or later they will start losing games. Probably they will end up somewhere between 4 - 6 at the end of the season. If they end up higher, it is not because of the money they spend, but the good teamplay and hype they currently have. It this once in a few years season in which everything goes well. They should be happy, but unfortunately this won't last forever.
