2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: June 15, 2021, 01:54:30 PM
We all know that off-line casinos tend to take very good care of their most valued clients, that is, those who spend large sums and are more or less loyal to an specific place. Freebies, guest experience managers at their service and any other amusement they fancy. On-line is much more difficult in that sense and sometimes I also wonder what can be done for a more personalised experience on these.
It may not be possible to reach the same level as the physical casinos, but what would you like to have on these that would make you feel better treated?
Freebies such as free spins, bonus and cashback rewards if they reach certain level in their wagering amount, but there are also some casinos who just treat everyone as same no matter either their wager is $10 or $1 millions which also got more recognization as well.

^ This is definitely right, only one casino and offline casino are totally different, the way online casino treat their valued customer is to give bonuses, freebies, giveaways, cashback, freeroll, anything free that can their VIP feel valuable to them. So they commonly receive specially tailored rewards from the gambling casino owner. Actually, there are different levels of VIP status that we can choose, players depositing the largest sums are considered true high rollers of the online casino.
2482  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in Freebitco.in on: June 15, 2021, 12:32:54 PM
With a 5% house edge it is virtually impossible to craft a strategy that can be profitable over a long period of time. Your best option for maximizing profit would be to be a large whale and bet conservatively. I am not a whale but I do usually make a small profit each month, not from gambling but from the different benefits they offer. From the wheel of fortune, daily interest, faucet, referral commissions and reward points you can make up for your losses if you only lose a very small amount each day. Sometimes you can have a profitable day with dice and that is a nice bonus.
Also, they are trying to find a profit in gambling when there isn't a lot of people that are making money from gambling and it's been proven a long time ago, that the more you gamble your total profit overtime is on a slope pattern, meaning that in the long-term, you are still losing money.
^ This means that moderately gamble or gamble just for fun not for chasing money on gambling. That is right, the more you stay the more chances that you will lose in a long run but it does not mean you did not have a chance to win, it will depend on luck especially those games that based on luck. Freebitco.in giving a lot of promotions and the most interesting part there was the prize of Lamborghini and very lucky those who won a brand new Lamborghini. Another promotion is the faucet which is until now I sometimes collecting free sats when I have vacant time.
2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 12, 2021, 09:59:12 PM
Bruhhh... In addition to the fact that this topic is strange, it still absolutely does not correspond to some standards of discussion - only a few parameters from the set have been selected. And all of them are negative, which makes me think about the objectivity of the author of the topic.
With this style of discussion, one counter-argument destroys the entire concept being promoted - it is enough to give an example of one successful gambler and the theses put forward become irrelevant.
Yes, the OP presented his/her point of view kind of only from one side, assuming that gambling can only be harmful to the economy. But, on the other hand, I think that's why it's good to create such threads and have discussions. I brought forward some arguments against the position expressed by the OP, and so did many other members. Hopefully, the OP (and other people that might share OP's views) will now see the flip side of the coin and will change the opinion on this matter.
^ Each of us has our own perspective view about gambling, that is the same with the economy of each country, not all of them have criticism on the gambling industry and in fact, this is a good help and contribute a lot when the economy down and the profit that was generated by the gambling was also used to recover the economy. Hopefully, they are, not only the negative outcome of the gambling that they will always see. Because those negative circumstances ahead will be avoided if we really wanted to educate ourselves for possible addictions.
2484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will be bearish market over?? on: June 12, 2021, 09:51:39 PM
In recent  previous days we had explore and observe market, and in the end we got that market are moving like zigzag mean its constantly moving in small zone , without going too upward or too downward. What's the reason behind it??
I am unhappy because it didn't even show any green signal.
So can any told me his opinion about this situation of market. Because I am tired of this😥😥

^ Man, you must understand from the start about investing in crypto that will not give better results in just a couple of a week or days. BTC investments need more time to wait for a perfect time of selling your crypto holding. Not all the time bear market was there and also not all the time market showing a bullish trend, this is how will work the word volatile in BTC, this nature makes changes the price form up and down or having fluctuation every now and then. Just patiently wait for it and don't ever think of selling your BTC under the price of purchasing it.
2485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Let's say you have a large amount of BTC and you on: June 12, 2021, 09:46:12 PM
sell it in P2P or collectors in your country, or you can buy Stablecoins and invest in them that's also a good idea.
I think telling that to invest it on stable coins is inappropriate. They're not an investment but what you're suggesting is a good idea.

But it would still lie down on huge amounts when someone has to withdraw it to cash and take the profit with them. The solution that has been mentioned is for P2P but if there's some other way, it would be splitting it in small amounts.
^ Splitting into small amounts before you will withdraw is the right answer because when you transfer the fund to your bank account. Do not cash it all at once because the bank will always be suspected of where the source of funds and it will probably you will be suspected of money laundering and worst if the money will freeze in your bank account for the further explanation that you need before it will unfreeze by them. As much as possible, send it little by a little amount into your bank account so that no one will suspect it. Because when you say a large amount, it would be million of dollars amount that you are holding which is a really big amount of money.
2486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever become a widely adopted global payment solution? on: June 12, 2021, 09:37:59 PM
This news isn't coming now, but El Salvador has shown that government around the world can make it official, by including Bitcoin for their citizens option of payment.
Also the adoption is surpassing phases as I saw at a POS -point of sale stand- and I saw the attendant told me they receive bitcoin as an option for payment, I felt excited and happy, even though I was with Fiat to pay for what I got I choose to use bitcoin.
I think adoption of Bitcoin won't heal broken economy, If the government don't add logistics that can work to it, regardless for a citizen like I am, I should freely have options to make payment with bitcoin if I so desire anywhere at anytime, if that can happen then it's the climax of adoption of Bitcoin.
^ Probably when other countries will follow what is the decision of El Salvador, is probably a good sign that they are right of what they decided. Because they realized that BTC is always good for transferring your asset worldwide and the president of El Salvador was saw this vision of usage of BTC because he saw that there are too many abroad that suffering to making transaction that you need a third-party service in order your money will move into other countries whereas using BTC you can do it alone in yourself. Nevertheless, I appreciate the proposal of the El Salvador president to make BTC legal and tender.
2487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: June 12, 2021, 09:27:32 PM
Here is my advice don't sell for lower price at least if you had bought higher price. Although if do you have bought btc in cheap price under $20k then welcome to sell and take your profits now. Actually btc ATH good move everyday so if you can take long time holding then you will receive good profits. Even you should analysis first then we will find a best decision. Otherwise if you would like important our decision then you can't make profits from crypto market.
^ This is definitely the right answer and always keep in mind that selling under the price where did you purchase your BTC was blindly accepted the loss you have or you are already a loser in that way. If you feel that you have earned 20-50% profit, just cut it off, don't too much greedy because sometimes the more we wanted to profit the more opportunities will stay away. During the deep price in the market just keep hold your coin and never get FUD among by others that result from panic selling or else, just hold at least after 4 years when there is another BTC halving that makes BTC went up the price as always the most anticipated event.
2488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin on: June 12, 2021, 09:18:56 PM
Considering the current price drop of bitcoin, it is really the best time to invest right now. As many are saying, start buying during the dip because when the time comes that the market recovers, you will be the one who will surely benefit afterwards. Do not lose this chance and grab the opportunity while the value is still currently low. Though it might be seen as a risk since it may take a long time before bitcoin gets back to its composure once again, the chances is still much higher that it will dominate the market once again.
^ In every dropped or there is a correction price it is always the best time to BTC. That indication is really hard to know because BTC price is unpredictable in the market, you will never know when it will down or when it will up the price. However, if you will hold a long time, there will be a chance that the value of your holding will increase when BTC increases the price. So, you need to wait for a perfect time before you will if your profit was there and selling under the price where you have purchased is not a good decision.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling tax proposal in Ukraine on: June 12, 2021, 06:24:40 PM
I don't know why the 10% tax rate can seem huge to anyone if other taxes are higher and in Ukraine, people pay around 45% of their money in taxes if everything is considered (for example, there's a 20% VAT on any food you purchase in a supermarket, so the 45% figure takes it into account). But Ukraine just recently passed a gambling law, so I don't think that a new and significantly different one will be adopted any time soon. Oh, and when I googled it in Ukrainian, the news on the 10% tax rate are all from the beginning of March, so I'm not even sure the news is relevant anymore.
^ Probably, until now and it was written it here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxation_in_Ukraine.
It is 0%-10% approximately on that range and it seems this tax proposal will climb up when the supply is out. Probably they saw that cryptocurrency has a proposal that they will never think of. Back to the topic, I think that is a fair enough individual task no to do again.
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too blind to see on: June 11, 2021, 08:48:18 PM
We are slowing going into bear market and many still don't realize this because of those 10% gains which makes the market looks bullish again but looking at the big picture it's clear that bear are slowly taking over, am I wrong?
^ If you are looking at the big picture of the market price in just 24 hours or just a week on the chart, most likely that was you have been figure out the possible bear market. It could be not yet a bull market but sooner or later it will always have a chance that BTC will create again a new ATH. Invest in BTC and hold in a long period of time just like holding after 4 years when another history of halving will come for sure BTC price will rise again. Nevertheless, it is still unpredictable and no one could tell what will happen next, if you believe and trust BTC, then invest it but if you don't understand, just stay away or have further research.
2491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has lifted its ban on crypto advertisements on: June 11, 2021, 08:09:31 PM
I think that's good overall. But as we all know, that will leave a lot of scope for scams. In the past, a lot of bitcoin lost money with the fake pages of exchanges. So a warning to everyone, look carefully at which google result is clicked.
^ Not totally good on my own and I hope there is no victim of phishing links that comes from Google ads. Because they did not filter those ads that contain possible phishing links if there is no user will report it. There is nothing they can do on crypto, it is now widely accepted in most institutional, even other social media has allowing crypto ads, how much more about them. I think it is all business for them, they don't even care about their user or those who put ads and filter it, as long as the ads have paid, they will allow it. Nevertheless, it is good news as well.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 11, 2021, 07:41:51 PM

1. Gambling in fact has many negative externalities. If someone gets addicted, the likelihood is much higher to be depressed. Depression is factor, which leads to high costs for the society.

2. Gambling addiction leads to economic costs because of crime actions. Other market actors have to increase their security standards, which means higher costs.

3. Many gambling addicts go as a consequence to jail. Jail means EXTREMELY high costs to society.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

The government's reason for agreeing on gambling casinos to operate outweighs the economic disadvantages that you've mentions, gambling casinos are employing a lot of people and giving business to small business that caters to casinos needs and of course the huge taxes these gambling casinos are giving out, they can only give warnings to people who are compulsive gambling but they cannot stop these people from playing within their means
^ But at least the gambling business has contributed a lot to the economic finance like economic growth. Through taxes, governments were earned profits from many gambling businesses. And regarding gambler's addiction, the only way that will help them is themselves. I heard gambling companies that did not accept gamblers once they had already an addiction, I don't know if this applies in the online gambling business. Nevertheless, gambling was still there even though there was a criticism of this, there is advantage and disadvantage that we probably consider.
2493  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com Honey potting to get high rollers...giving a deal and removing the on: June 11, 2021, 07:29:51 PM
^ OP was trying to take advantage of the bonuses and promotions, as Rollbit Razer said, Op has created a second account and attempted to claim the bonuses there which is against the TOS in the first place. It is already answered now and Rollbit Razer has well explained the situation that there is no special bonus for you. Dont be greedy just to take advantage of those promotions on Rollbit, you are asking lossback which is not yet implemented on this gambling site you have used. You may now lock this thread.
2494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 11, 2021, 07:07:01 PM
~snip~
Climbing is a great sport, I really enjoy it. If you have no previous experience I would recommend you start checking out bouldering. You don't need any ropes or other gear except shoes to do it.
^ Wait, what? Is that track and field sports that you need only shoes to do it?
I totally disagree with it, climbing sports really need safety gear like harnesses, ropes, helmet nuts, built, carabiner and etc that protect you when you fall, and also if that is an indoor wall, the ground should have a foam that if anyone will fall does not hurt badly. But yes, this sport is a very challenging game because this needs skills and strategies for how you will climb continuously to the rock, it needs your full strength just to reach the top.
2495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We are all gamblers. on: June 11, 2021, 06:54:29 PM
Yes we all are addicted to something and this addiction can be of any type like smoking, alcohol, woman's,money, work, cars or any other materialistic or non-materialistic things in our life and they all have some risks associated with them.We take risks in our life like in gambling and get returns according to that like businessman takes risk to expand their business in order to fulfill profit motive. But one thing is which is that gambling addiction or any other bad addition can lead to some serious damage like financially, socially or economically. So we need to keep them in balance to enjoy our life happily. But in the other sense life is also gambling on which every bet placed can generate loss or profits.
^ That is how human lives because we are human even though we know what is the circumstances that may occur ahead as long as we are well entertained, that is okay on our sides. We gamble everything in the future and that depends on the choice of which path we are. We are gamblers right and we are the same facing death in the future, as long as you are alive, do something that your life was fully enjoyed. Nevertheless, in all our activities we should know how to put a limit and avoid focus on one activity. Believe me or not, we are all addicted here to share ideas on this gambling community, right?
2496  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino on: June 11, 2021, 06:15:45 PM
You guys are right but sometimes this mempool fee thingy can be confusing tbh. Today the slow withdraw fee on FBC (faucet) is less than a dollar.
The most easy way to frequently go to your computer, log in to your roobet account and the check if the transaction fee has been lowered or not.
During my time in the Bustadice campaign I got to know (and love Wink ) the "Slow Withdraw" at Bustadice. Instead of an instant withdraw, you could choose a withdraw that could last up to 24 hours. Bustadice collected all withdrawals and transferred them in one batch, which made the fees much cheaper (5-10x cheaper).

Maybe such a system would also make sense at Roobet, as a user you only have the problem of having to wait a little longer for your valuable coins.

In my opinion, that is a good system, and I don't know why other casinos don't use it as well. Roobet probably processes a lot of withdrawals per day and batch transactions only make sense if users opt for the low fee option. This could be an ideal solution for anyone with small amounts in their accounts, as long as it's properly explained on the website.

^ Probably because withdrawal is a part of their profit revenue, they will add a small amount from the required amount fees on the network, just like Coinomi wallet which required a higher fee than the actual fee to the mempool. This sounds good, if all gambling use this system of withdrawal, everyone can save the fee even though they will wait even more than 24 hours as long as it well explained in the first place. All small withdrawals collected and send by a bunch in order to save fees. Nevertheless, even for me, it does not matter how long the process is as long as we are aware of the withdrawal process how it will work.
2497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why government Don't kill btc? on: June 10, 2021, 08:58:29 PM
~
Even if they did, the least they can do is to ban exchange we got these days like Binance, Bittrex, etc. Sites like LocalBitcoins also counts for another and those custodial wallets you know, they're being taxed as well when you cash it out.
However regardless of the bans and efforts they can make, people still have access to VPNs and p2p transaction.
^ Centralized crypto exchanges have been expected that will the first service provider will close if banning crypto or BTC will be implemented. But if you are talking about the BTC banning, the government will not do such a thing, that is their foolish move of they will do that, how they will access the decentralized code that using a blockchain system. People can still access and do buying and selling in any P2P exchnage or even person to person in buying BTC. Nevertheless, I smell the whole world's adoption of BTC, look at those institutional investors now, they are keep coming and invested BTC.
2498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin truly moving forward? on: June 10, 2021, 08:48:27 PM
The higher the Bitcoin price pumps, the bigger the % correction that will occur after reaching the peak. This is a condition that is easy to read and also allows us all to learn to be calmer in holding digital assets. Never panic when a correction occurs, because every price correction will bounce again to get a more suitable stable price.
Use common sense, and don't be greedy, human poverty starts with greed and doesn't care about other people.
^ I disagree with this logic of yours, BTC will always have an ATH or all-time high and it will probably decrease more or less 50% from the ATH that BTC recently reach. Yes, BTC is truly moving forward because as we see this year there is another ATH and we expected that after 4 years there will be a new ATH will come. The demand and supply will always matter on the price and I think, if you can see around, there are too many big investors that recently adopted BTC as their investment just like Microstrategy and the biggest Telsa company.

Taking advantage of the hype, huh?
I am not that type of investor but I guess it is up to one's judgement. Doge was one hell of a meme coin and I could've expected that it is easily manipulated by celebrities that is why I ain't dropping any single money on that.
^ As I know low volume coins are easy to manipulate by large investors and even those celebrities can do this since they had enough wealth so that they can able to play the market price. If OP knows how to ride the hype, as I can see that is a very nice and clever move but I don't think it will long last, or probably you will lose once you cant monitor the market movement. Nevertheless, each of us has different tricks and techniques on how to gain money on cryptocurrencies, but wise investors should always pay attention to the coin that highly volatile but low risk.
2500  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this a good plan for learning tradning ? on: June 10, 2021, 08:14:51 PM
you need practical learning as well I think. I would encourage you to go for backtest and papertrading for months and see how you are dealing with past trends, reversal, etc and also try yourself out based on live data as well. see what are your weaknesses and strengths. Then I would suggest you start with small steps on real trading. Improve your emotional durability and improve your trading discipline.
^ It is definitely right and you have a point on this, a backtest could definitely improve your skills in trading and experience like you are in live trading. You can do it on tradingview.com and experiencing those technical analyses that could possibly happen. But believe me or not, there is no guarantee of making a profit in trading, so prepare yourself for the circumstances that will probably happen. It could use a small amount to test your ability in trading and then go for the amount that you can afford to lose. I think the most important is the trading plan and always stick to the plan whatever happens to the market price.
