2501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoins was lost permanently? on: June 10, 2021, 07:41:20 PM
Asked countless times already and there is no true way to know except those coins regularly sent to burn address. Those that are physically lost you can always predict someone finds it again one day like that guy digging the trash for his old hard drive:) I think it does not really impact us overall.
^ Because the fact is that there is no tool that can be used to measure those BTC wallet addresses that are inactive. It could most of them are lost of holding in exchange, big companies and other big and small individual investors who held their BTC for a longer time. We don't really know or determine if we based on the activity of the wallet. So we are here to have a prediction on how many BTC has been locked on the wallet but the fact, there is no accurate answer for that. Nevertheless, there could be instances that one day, a long-time lost private will be found and that amount will belong to the BTC circulation supply.
2502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 10, 2021, 07:18:12 PM
Quote
The gambling casinos/websites earn a good amount of profits and hence have to pay more tax
The money received from tax is then again used for the welfare of the country.
But yeah, we can still debate with the fact that many casinos dont pay their taxes and many countries don't use the tax properly for the welfare of the country

The best question is , How much does the taxes helping the economy than the amount losses from the players?

That can never be found out because every country has their own rules and regulations and most of the countries have corrupt people everywhere.
Corruption can go to any extent which is why it's hard to know how much money is actually flowing into the welfare of the economy.
Unless these governments use blockchain system to publicize the taxations there will be no way to know the truth.
^ That is a good idea and I hope there are some countries who will adopt blockchain technology to have a public ledger about the tax. Every country has its own way how to tax gambling and how the percentage will be deducted as a tax, it could more than 10%-50% depend on which country you are in. Probably gambling industry has a lot of contributing to grow the economy and as I remember there are few countries that have received donations from online gambling casinos. Nevertheless, there are pros and cons in gambling and sometimes we can not deny the fact that there is an economic cost.
2503  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 10, 2021, 07:08:24 PM
Knowing Roobet there's always room if there's a need for it.
Yes, If they can create a system all balance into one asset $USD not divided depending the chain you are use example like "DuelBits & Rollbit" and you have freely option to choose to withdraw in any chain would be solve the problem:
ETH/BTC : Withdraw (Sometimes for someone who have a big balance and this coins have a good liquidation)
LTC : Withdraw (Other solution for cheap & fast transaction.
^ We know that BTC transaction fee will always in a high-cost amount in the dollar base, it should be better if we switch to altcoins if it is available.
LTC seems a good option if the BTC network is too much congested, another factor if you want to have less fee in BTC, do always check the mempool space for the required amount of the withdrawal fee. Nevertheless, I hope the team Roobet will add some cryptocurrencies to choose from so that users will have an option upon withdrawal. Probably DOGE or XRP, or even TRX.
2504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 10, 2021, 12:36:28 PM
~
I'm not a devout religious believer, it's just that I also don't believe that God will bless those who play gambling
If God has to bless all gamblers, then how much must he make to win?

praying when buying the lottery, placing bets or playing slots is ridiculous to me
I would never want to do that, even I won the lottery several times when I didn't pray
^ That is the fact in here if you believe in God and read the Bible. It was clearly said there God has hated gambling activities.
You can read these verses of the Bible why God hates gambling, (Hebrews 13:5, and Exodus 20:17) it has a parable that gambling shows a lack of contentment and in (Proverbs 29:7; Psalm 41:1) can exploit poor people with the hope of get-quick rich scheme. So if you don't believe in these, don't pray while you are gambling, just gamble and hope there is luck. There is nothing that will happen even if your whole family member will pray for you and hope that you will win. Imagine, in the lottery, for one person to win, other people must lose.
2505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: June 10, 2021, 11:46:52 AM
With that being said, I wouldn't recommend perceiving poker as a money making activity. With a wrong approach,  you can still get addicted and lose a lot of money with it. Be a responsible gambler.
In my opinion, without exception all gambling game will make players addicted to both luck-based game and skill game such as poker. All of them allow us to lose money, and we must take responsibility for any kind of game we will play. There is no pressure to take responsibility for certain categories of play in gambling, as long as it can result in players losing money then they should always be responsible gambler.
^ Probably those responsible gamblers are those people who have oriented themselves on how to control their emotions not to become addicted. I think that us because we are here on the forum like a community of all gamblers on which should we avoid or not. Gamblers will often gamble are meant they had enough money to gamble. But if it will beyond the limit, we can consider them as addicted to gambling. Nevertheless, a wrong mindset that always think gambling is a source of income or chasing your loss in gambling is not an appropriate attitude.
2506  Other / Off-topic / Re: UFC champion, Amanda Nunes challenges Kim Kardashian to a fight on: June 10, 2021, 10:48:26 AM
I think this fight is not going to happen. The champion surely will win this and I would not like to see Kardashian beaten on the ring.If Kardashian accepts though this is going be a lot of fun to watch.
Not unless there's a big money involve, Kardashian might think again if she'll take this challenge seriously and accept it. It's fun because an MMA fighter wants to fight an individual with no background on any MMA fight at all, is Amanda downgrading her own standard just like hopefully not since as per them, this is just a joke.  I've been watching MMA fights since then, and I know how intense the fight for sure Kim can't handle it and she might ended up badly.
^ This will be the biggest event if this will happen but unfortunately it seems that is all about a joke. She is challenging Kim through her tweet and it seems she was seeking public attention towards her tweet. I am not much more familiar with Kim Kardashian but I know who is Amanda Nunes, I have seen her before her fight and it is widely considered the greatest female MMA fighter of all time. Nevertheless, we don't know if Kim will take it seriously and accept the fight but I don't think she probably an underdog on this match.
2507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 07, 2021, 12:20:01 PM
In general, this is not supposed to be, but some people do it without realizing it Grin, sounds weird but indeed there are people who pray when gambling, it's better if we know that.. we remind them.
About this, the point is we should not experience it.
Actually I want to laugh, but whatever you do of course have hope. For those who believe in praying, whatever they do will begin with prayer. I think this will convince you although it won't be a major factor with the results. Some of my friends still do it even though he knows it's against the rules he believes in. So he believed even though he knew he might be wrong.
^ Can we laugh at this?  Grin
I remember my friend before when we are at the casino, every time he places a bet, he made a sign of a cross on his self. One day I asked, he said just to have luck, so if you believe in your prayer, probably it will boost confidence and increase your chances of winning but overall, it will not give a guarantee that you will win and also give a good result in gambling. We know that gambling is based on luck but probably prayer will contribute a little but not much. However, there is nothing to lose with you if you will try to pray before you will gamble.
2508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lunarwin.com Slots&Casino - Get a non depositor freebie! on: June 07, 2021, 12:06:56 PM
Do this company serious about this business? or just trying to open for possible players but won't give a damn about any concerns?

Posting this thread and then gone away for a week even that there are already some questions towards their operation.
As far as I understood, the owner of the casino is a scammer who didn't even pay the developers that made the site.
^ If that so, I request you to create a thread on the scam accusation board and compile there all the proof you had. Because if you are talking here that you have been scammed without proper enough evidence, that will turn into nonsense accusations. In your case, that is really a red flag, 5 days are long enough for them to respond to your issue. Nevertheless, they had a faucet and I want to include it in the @Pmalek thread for the list of all gambling faucets, but it sounds fishy now even their rep did not come here to clear the issue.
2509  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Gambling Site Directory on: June 07, 2021, 11:54:27 AM
Live Portfolio Tracker will be developed this month.

Stay tuned for more updates  Cool
That's a nice feature to be added, godspeed to you and your team. Since we are on a gambling site and I don't want to assume, what portfolio are you talking about?
^ I thought you know this feature because you have said it is a nice feature. Cheesy
A portfolio tracker is a tool that you can follow and trace your individual holding coins on a site and yes, this is a good feature because anytime you can trace or track your coins anytime while you are away from your PC. Nevertheless, it is good if the live portfolio tracker is on the app because it is very handy and convenient to use.
2510  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anoymous message to Elon Musk on: June 05, 2021, 10:00:16 PM
Finally the community is bashing Elon Musk. Anonymous is a powerful group, let's see where they go.

Nothing much will change. The community can't stand before the whales. The cases like GameStop where WallStreetBets community initiated Short squeeze against Melvin Capital don't happen every day.
^ Definitely right, nothing will change and the community already knows about Elon Musk's lies, he just playing the market and including us, he used us for his own interest and sell his BTC after he made a FUD that everyone triggered on it. Most BTC holders get mad at Elon Musk and probably this anonymous message was made by one of his haters and no doubt for that. Nevertheless, it is time to ignore Elon Musk, he is very confident because he knows how influencer he is but if we ignore him, probably he will stop his troll on BTC and other cryptos.
2511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: June 05, 2021, 09:32:06 PM
The more popular Crypto is, of course the more popular online gambling sites are, this is still one of the entertainment or an alternative way to get income.
However I think this is as complementary in the crypto world as gambling with money in general, of course it will attract more people and become more popular with various types of games/gambling in it.
But still, trying to get income from gambling will not be suggested as we know that playing gambling needs luck and skills. If you do not have luck, you will not have a chance to win, but you might have a chance to win if you have skills in sports betting. People who often play on the offline casino will search the online casino, especially in this pandemic, because they can not freely go to the land-based casino. That is why the online casino has become popular now and still attracts many people to try playing online gambling games.
^ Just because most of the land-based casinos now are closed due to this pandemic and still very risky to go outside because you don't know who will be the career of the virus while when you are inside the casino. That it is, no were to run besides in online casino, as much as possible everything now is made on the internet as long as it can be online gambling is becoming popular just because of this. Nevertheless, on the online gambling casino sites they are rising now like a mushroom, probably they saw that having an online casino is a very profitable business.
2512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: June 05, 2021, 09:22:26 PM
How long did it take you to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon?

I first heard about Bitcoin in 2009
I first used Bitcoin in 2013

Took me 4 years!

What about you?
^ That 4 years is long enough for you to decide, in my part it took a year before I decided to join in crypto community because I have an interest in BTC. In the year 2015 I have heard a rumor about BTC until such then I found this forum after a year and begun getting my interest, 2016 I purchased and used BTC, at that BTC is very cheap but I don't mind investing in it and that part did not enter on my mind which is I have full of regret now. I purchase a little but in 2018 I cash out my BTC and until now I did not accumulate even at least a small amount,m all I want is to cash out them.
2513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn some profit trading BTC on: June 05, 2021, 09:13:17 PM
I recorded this video to showcase the best, most simple method for earning some quick profit whilest trading BTC.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgdJVz3ZTmE
There is no "method" to do that, there is really nothing that is set in stone that would make you rich somehow. There are people who made tens of millions of dollars from trading and yet sometimes even they are wrong. Which means the only way to make a profit from trading is to get lucky. Obviously that is not the only thing that contributes but without that you are going to lose money, everything else is as important to reach there, so you need to be ready to get lucky.

This means you need to know TA, you need to know all those indicators and chart reading and even news reading but without them you can still make money if you are lucky, there are idiots out there who made enough money to buy a house from "lol DOGE ehehehehe" and there are super wise traders who lost money. This is not the norm of course, the norm is you need to know all those important stuff AND get lucky, that is the real way.
^ Definitely right, there is no method that accurately gains profit in trading using BTC, it always has volatile price and you don't know which the price will be moving ahead. But sometimes it will increase the chances of making a profit knowing technical and fundamental analysis, even those indicators will help too to boost the potential that you will earn profit. But as I said, there is no one of them will give an accurate result. It could be changed in the next result and you will use another strategy or method as you have said.
2514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: June 05, 2021, 02:01:26 PM
actually its not BTC that being taxed in the USA... Its the dollar   You dont pay any taxes on crypto currencies until you sell them for USD.  and then its only "IF" you made a capital gain.  So you are paying taxes on your USD capital gain on ALL cryptocurrencies just like stocks.
If your trading amount is higher you will be bound to pay your taxes unless you are able to provide all the evidence of your loss and then you can get away with the capital gain tax. If you are a small time trader then you can get away with it but usually everyone who is in the market for a long time made a lot of money and you are bound to file them if you are not looking for trouble at a later time.
^ Higher or a small amount it should be taxed if you are in the US. Either it is sold or spent, it should be declared any profit each year because that is taxable and you are entitled to be liable to interest and penalties. But there are countries that did not too strict on the tax, if you feel that BTC in your place did not require tax and only a small amount, it is up to you. I think the only UK and the US are very strict on this tax implementation, other countries probably will not and it is okay if you don't declare your gains in crypto.
2515  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: June 05, 2021, 01:45:42 PM
If I have a chance I always tried to grab the opportunity to create another source of income. As for now struggling with a source of income is one of the most important due to this pandemic.

Some of the possible ways to earn money only are taking online jobs like designing, coding, teaching, and also signature campaigns consider as an online job too. Again those are not for a lifetime still it's better to find another way of source of income.
^ You are not alone, even my small business now won't work due to the pandemic. But don't think it is appropriate for me to have focus online and make money, I still love to work outside. Being a health worker and as a frontline, it is not an easy task to work outside, how I wish there is also a good job online that I could make money the same my salary outside but the fact, there is none of them and all of them are temporary.
Nevertheless, if I have good skills of programming, coding, or any in-demand skills online, I will grab the opportunity to make money online and stop my risky job.
2516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: June 05, 2021, 01:37:24 PM
Bitcoin then we do regard that however doesn't imply that those expressions of yours would truly be regularly ready to persuade out individuals who had been supporting and having positive perspectives about bitcoin potential in longer angle. That is the reason it is smarter to hold anyway the sum that we can stand to lose. What's more, I am certain that Bitcoin will get another opportunity to better constantly cost again later on.
I agree on that it is really smart to hold than nothing. We can really gain in holding, if we are going to look at the bitcoin price we can see that bitcoin is really a good coin to hold based on its price from 2018 till present , big profit comes when we have patience and hold, the only reason why some people get loss is the lack of patience and trust, however we cannot really blame them for crypto is not stable.
Holding is one of the good decisions and if we have the right strategy of course it will make a profit,
bitcoin is unquestionably the future and as you said we can see the price till now bitcoin is the king of crypto,
what is clear in holding bitcoin we have to be patient
^ Because holding is the safest way than trading, there is nothing to lose until you will be decided to sell your coin, if that is under the price from which you purchased your BTC, that is a loss, but if that is higher from which your purchase, it would have a potential to gain profit of course. So for now, it is your call if when you sell your coin, at the right time or during the dip, and accept your loss. Nevertheless, on the other side, if you are good at technical analysis or even fundamental analysis, trading is good for you. All of these are depending on your skills.
2517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 05, 2021, 01:09:08 PM
The pictures you have shown doesn't look like an indoor sports to me. Sports Climbing in an actual cliff or mountain is very dangerous, everything could go wrong, if you know what I mean. Rock formations in cliff or mountain sometimes are not strong enough to hold the weight of the climber, without proper harness and safety equipment, the climber would die.

So for me, It's a no go for betting since life is in the line. I feel like my heart is gonna stop every time I see a life and death situation unexpectedly.
^ It ios quite dangerous but they had their own protective gears on this, they had with a rope and harness that support when they will fall and most likely tournaments are not just a random place to climb, it is the indoor place or if in outdoor venues they make it sure everything is strong to hold and another plus to protect them is the rope and harness, the last is the is the floor under the climbing walls has a cover of foam so that if someone will accidentally fall will not get hurt too much. Nevertheless, there are two types of climbing competitions, is onsight and redpoint competition.

~snip~
  • wolf.bet, it has 7 days streak reward but I'm not really sure about the amount
^ I confirmed there is, just because I was there before when I was participating in the Wolfbet signature campaign, they had a 7-day streak reward, come back each day and you will receive 0.00000090 BTC. And another more is the free coins from the rain chat every 20 minutes if you are active there, you will get a prize reward from rainbot. You can check it here OP if you want to know their faucets or free promotion. https://wolf.bet/promotions.
Nevertheless, I appreciated this thread of yours OP, it is quite interesting if someone looking at gambling sites that have a free reward for testing the site.
2519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 05, 2021, 12:33:14 PM
It doesn't even require a hacker if a casino seems to be reputable, collects your data when you want to cash out and also sells your data to hackers. They don't even have to do the hacking then. That's why the general rule should be that everyone is in a best case scenario one's own best data protector.
The casino can do anything to your data. Even if they want to sell the data, they can do that. It is why we really need to care about our data and not easily send the data to a third party if we are not sure. We should concern the hacker as they can enter the website easily, especially if the website can not protect their site because we already read about many hacking cases on the internet.
^ That is what they called a data breach, once it is breached, possibly all data was collected by the site will sell to the scammer and will probably use your data in scamming activity. But I think level 1 verification needs an ID verification, most likely it is only your Gmail account, phone number, and your name, as long as there is no ID verification, probably you are safe. I think for now, as long as you can avoid it, just do it until there is no choice is to complement the KYC implementation.
2520  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: June 05, 2021, 12:07:15 PM
In the future, KYC will become universal standard on centralized platforms. Governments enforce the laws then companies have to obey local laws if they don't shift their companies to other nations.
So far the government has enforced this rule in several countries for exchange platform. When the owner does not comply with the applicable rule, the site will be banned from operating in that country and may be blocked by the government. But I don't know whether for countries that legalize gambling whether KYC rule have been applied or not, but I believe the rule have something to do with tax rule.
^ Definitely right because gambling site owner was following the rules of law there is no exemption on it as long as you are custodial services and AML compliance has become compulsory for anyone even though you are using cryptocurrency. Just because it will protect both of us the owner and the users from financial criminals who want to take advantage. But for now, still, you have a choice, either you will go on the gambling platform that require KYC or choose the brisk one which does not have a license and did not require a KYC.
