2521  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 14, 2022, 01:17:18 PM
FUD used to play a big role in disturbing the market when there is something negative. This happens as a result of fear among the common users who are small scale holders in terms of volume. The same gets used as an opportunity by the whales to accumulate as much possible. Nowadays this has changed and that's the reason why the market hasn't got disturbed even when there is high volatile market deviations in short time period.
2522  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 14, 2022, 08:06:27 AM
Putin has not done this to gain economically from this invasion, because Russia is printing money from the increased oil prices. The sanctions will hurt most of the countries more, than they are hurting Russia at the moment.
Russia want to show to the world their power. In recent years Russia isn't talked much. Most when discussed about world powers, the talks will be mostly of USA and China. That too might be a reason for the unexpected invasion on Ukraine.
McDonald’s announced that it would be suspending its operations in Russia. This affects 847 branches and 62,000 employees, who will continue to be paid. - Now, how does a paid vacation sound like, if you not working... but still getting paid?
Almost most of the leading business firms have stopped operating in Russia. For some time period the employees will be paid, afterwards firms will always look for a way to stop paying.

Russia (Putin) invaded the Ukraine for political gain to flex his muscles to show the world that they are still one of the most powerful countries in the world. They also showed the Ukraine and their own citizens, what will happen if they even considered apposing their reign.  Roll Eyes
Russia didn't expected that Ukraine will stand strong. If I'm not wrong Russia could've thought Ukraine will obey and surrender. But, things happened in the opposite way and this itself a failure for Russia.
2523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 14, 2022, 05:20:50 AM
Bangladesh Woman and Pakistan Woman are playing and i am expecting Pakistan to win the match but lets see how it goes, another interesting match that is coming up is England woman and South African Woman and England needs to win to keep their hopes intact as they already lost couple of matches and they need a win to keep their semi hopes alive.

For the first time, the Pakistani women's team is looking in a winning position in the world cup. They need about 64 runs in 60 balls with 8 wickets still in hand. Pakistan should must win this match from this position. It will be their first win in this women's world cup and they will be moved up from the last position at the points table.   Smiley
Oh Umar Idrees - bad luck, Pakistan lost the match with 9 runs. Well played but seems like things are not towards Pakistani side. They played really well. I like the spirit of Pakistani Captain, she seems so much dedicated and passionate about winning - but the time is not in favor better luck to Pakistani team in next world cup cup.
The unwanted run out of Sidra Ameen is the game changing moment in my view. She scored her maiden century and the following players didn't contribute to the efforts. The lower order failed to score and this is a big loss for Pakistan. At the start of the innings Pakistan looked so strong to make an easy winning. As said the chances have got narrowed and hoping for a good comeback by the next world cup.
2524  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 14, 2022, 04:55:08 AM
Education has the ability to change the life of a human. Economy of a family is important, when the economy of a country gets disturbed automatically we can experience the impact on the family expenses. In specific when there is increase in the oil price, then entire economy and budget gets disturbed.

Educating at the right time will let everyone have freedom of economics and prepare to face the worst scenario, if something happens unexpected. In my view crypto investment is good for the future, and to educate kids about cryptocurrencies can be done on their interest than by compulsion.
2525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: March 14, 2022, 03:40:40 AM
Well, I would take with me a notepad with a written story by me containing the 12 words of the seed distributed along the whole text, very well disguised in a way nobody could suspect anything. You just need to be creative to create a coherent tale, what shouldn't be so hard, since seeds' words are really common ones, being possible to add them to any fictions easily.
And I doubt someone would steal a cheap notepad from your luggage or seize it, because there isn't any reasonable cause to justify that at first point.
This is quite an easy and possible solution. No one will seize or take away the notepad, but we don't know what is our fate. As a common man we can easily move to different countries carrying the notepad. By some problem while we're travelling someone stole the luggage carrying the notepad, what to do. To avoid such scenario memorizing it is good choice or should have the same stored in some other tale.

Recently saw a post in which it is mentioned about Danish police having the right to seize belongings of people entering the country as refugee. By situation if we turn to be a refugee and was to enter Denmark what to do?
2526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Odd Job Would Have Put Thousands of Dollars in BTC in My Wallet on: March 13, 2022, 11:59:22 PM
That's what influencers and celebrities doing lately for money. Yea, it's pretty sure someone else will take over the job even you ignore to do it, but you did the right thing. At least no one lost money for you. I don't follow this kind of promotional article or video ever. Because I know what is behind that. Everyone should ignore this way to save their hard work money.
What are the fraudulents are making plans to make money out of the common people. This could also make people loss interest over cryptocurrency. Op has done a good job among the influencers who gets paid and trap the common people for easy money. We've got so many platforms to invest and analyse. Good is to understand the true value of the project, study the project and invest than just getting trapped by such fraudulent acts.
2527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 13, 2022, 11:47:23 PM
I was fascinated by the Australian batting. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, they batted 180 overs. They have collected 505 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and have not yet declared an innings. Usman Khawaja and Smith's remarkable partnership has enabled them to make this a big collection. Moreover, Alex Carey played the required innings of 93 runs. We will not see the result of this match. The match is going to be a draw.
May be the Australian team expect the pitch to start turning during the last couple of days and may be that is the reason they are thinking twice on whether to make a declaration or score the maximum runs when they can and if that is the mindset, then i would say they are not playing to win rather playing for a draw and it makes sense with the way they are batting.
The match is getting turned to be similar as the first test match. Both the teams engage themselves in making a draw than a win. Among the Australian and Pakistan squad every player have been making their contribution. This combined effort is giving the best result for both the teams. Australia even after 500+ runs haven't declared the innings, and it could've been declared once Alex missed his 100
2528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 13, 2022, 11:30:48 PM

The match wasn't competitive as Australian women won it by a big margin. 141 runs to be exact. Aussie Women's team hasn't lost a single match yet and looks like the strong team of the tournament. South Africa is another team that hasn't lost a match either but they have played 2 matches only as compared to the Australians who have played three matches.
The tournament is in its early stages and one of the favorite England teams has started off badly and won no matches till now.

Australian women team are no doubt favorite for the title. SA has played 2 matches against Bangladesh and Pakistan, they are yet to play women big 3 aka Australia, New Zealand and England. Westindies have won 2 matches against England and New Zealand. Its very interesting in a sense that small teams are performing good against England and New Zealand.

Apart from the Australian women's team, it's hard to say who will be the next three teams to qualify for the semi finals. England and New Zealand did not start the tournament well, but they have the tendency to catch up later in the tournament. WI, India, and SA are equally good to give tough times to big teams. This time there are no clear favorites except the Australian team.
Now the Australia Women's team have turned to be same as the Australia men's team under the captaincy of Ricky Ponting. During those days before the start of the match the result will be perfectly predicted that Australia will win the match. In such a way Australia is performing the best throughout. In my prediction this time the same story as the past could happen with Australia, England, South Africa and New Zealand to qualify for the semi finals.
2529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 13, 2022, 11:14:11 PM
I don't know why there is so lengthy debate going on about BCB and Shakib? As per my knowledge shakib has played 59 test, 218 ODIs and 96 T20Is for Bangladesh and still I read posts that BCB has not done justice with that legendary all rounder. What else a player need from his board if he has played so many matches.
This is all because of the increasing money flow into cricket and the emergence of Bangladesh as a better team with time. When there is money automatically there'll be politics and the same is happening with the Bangladesh cricket board. He's a good cricketer, and has faced several such disciplinary complaints which is true. Now what has been looking like an politics that is being played by people who doesn't have better idea about cricket. This is like establishing their power.
2530  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 13, 2022, 10:57:18 PM
I think the real winner is Drake, because he effectively found a way to gamble for free. Stake are paying a lot of other streamers too and they must be getting a ton of money to be able to pay Drake and Watford in the Premier league.  Roll Eyes

Their weekly "Giveaway" has almost 2 million tickets every week.... and each ticket represents $1000 wagered. The best strategy to wager $1000 ...will cost the gamblers about $50 per $1000 wagered. So based on the amount of tickets and their share at a minimum of $50 per ticket = $100 000 000 gross income per week.  Roll Eyes

We don't know effectively the terms of their cooperation but we can speculate about a solution for free bets Wink
I am not a fan of Drake, he was already a player ? or he start to bet "in public" only after this partnership?

About tickets... you can earn also playing on sporting bets without "fixed" house edge... however if you count betting from casino they are earning as "raw estimate" 1% from 1000$ wagered.
He was and old player as Stake mentioned on this link https://stake.com/drake
Journey from a Player to a Partner
So they do emphasize that thing which i couldnt blame out not only Drake is a whale player but also a celebrity which they could
really utilize up their company even more in terms of exposure and popularity.
Long back itself he is into gambling and making use of Stake. Being a popular face and having the potential to place big bets that make common people get astonished is the key factor of Drake to be more popular as a gambler. His presence with Stake as player to partner shows the mutual progress.
2531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 13, 2022, 10:42:31 PM
I don't think any new country is interested in test format. The last country to get test status is Bangladesh in 1999 till then there is no new inclusion in test teams. The popularity of football lies in the fact that it's of very short duration and ends in 110 minutes. If cricket needs to spread the only way is T20.
Playing test is not easy for any country recently ICC give test states to Afghanistan and Ireland which is good thing but with very poor system and having not domestic set up for this it's not going to help them so here now they need to bring some big changes and stop this test states with just twelve teams could be in and try to set them for good level which is very hard but not impossible. Allowing more countries for T20 and T10 is much profitable for them and all stakeholders.

Right now, it could be good for spread of this game and have some better revenue for all countries and players with this they can develop some ODI as well because these two formats can bring some good charm and test is now going down even our most chances we are going to lose this in next 10 to 15 years from few countries with just top seven or eight countries could be in limelight for this.
True cricketing is test match, because to score withstanding wickets is not an easy thing. With T20 matches the score might be reached big in the short number of overs. This too needs ability to play, but here we can see players making unexpected performance which at times looks like a fake performance that happens out of fluke. As said the T20 format have turned it to be a way to make money and through this the real sport is slowly losing its value.
2532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss City of Lugano to Make Bitcoin Legal Tender on: March 13, 2022, 07:11:49 PM
Making bitcoin legal tender is a big thing to be done by centralized governments. El Salvador took a very strong decision against opposition from different organisations and countries. The credit goes to the president Nayib Bukele, because he was strong in his decision and when more leaders criticised his decision. Swiss City Laguna's plan for making bitcoin legal tender is not a big thing in my view, because Switzerland is already a crypto friendly country.
2533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upliftment of Crypto Ban of Nigerian Banks on: March 13, 2022, 10:46:35 AM
Nigeria is one among the country to have its CBDC. Maybe to enrich the usage of e-naira the Central Bank of Nigeria might've taken such an action. As per my understanding cryptocurrency is much associated with the different forms if crime and other illegal activities due to its decentralised nature.

Quote
Nigeria has traded 60,215 bitcoins worth more than $566 million in the last five years, making it the highest volume on Paxful, the world's largest peer-to-peer bitcoin marketplace

Inspite of such a ban the usage of cryptocurrency in Nigeria keeps booming. This means people are well aware of the market and it shows how people are looking for a way to make use of cryptocurrency amidst the ban.
2534  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: March 13, 2022, 02:29:12 AM
Initially it was the banking system, by the time people feared of saving the money in banks and accumulated it in treasuries and vaults. Slowly people got adopted to the banking system, by then internet made an evolution. People started using banks, but feared of using internet services for banking needs. Slowly it got transformation towards different types of cards. People are getting used to it. Further the app payments have made everything simple. Now everyone who have a smartphone find it the best. It takes time to reach the end user, so right now it is crypto and it takes little time for every country to regulate it's usage.
2535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I’m planning to surprise my soon-to-be-bride sister some BTC on her wedding day on: March 13, 2022, 01:49:36 AM
Already its a month past, from the day in which OP have mentioned about his plan. If I'm not wrong, by now the marriage might've got over and he might've gifted it. Congrats to the new couple.

People are getting to know more about cryptocurrency and the same has made people use it on different purposes. Crypto for gifting is simply good and in some posts I saw users unaware of its value, but used to fulfill some needs. In the coming days cryptocurrency will play a big role in the gifting and it is possible to read different gifting stories with cryptocurrency.
2536  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin, safe havens and real estate in a foreign country on: March 12, 2022, 07:45:30 PM
In recent days I haven't travelled to Dubai. Few years back I saw the country filled with vacant buildings, and when I enquired it was said those are buildings that are being constructed to attract the tourism and a preparation for the UAE EXPO 2020. Maybe what we see with the Russians move towards Dubai is part of filling the vacant spaces believing that the price will increase in the future.
2537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaires and Bitcoin on: March 12, 2022, 06:56:45 PM
It's the masses that should be afraid, not the billionaires. Most if not all billionaires have all the connections they need to survive and live their lives normally. The masses, however, are pretty much screwed if they got their financial freedoms revoked.
This is being proven with the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. The sanctions have made the common public suffer and not the billionaires. The net worth value might've fallen, but there living hasn't got disturbed. Even in some articles this is being published that Putin is living his life as the past, but his act have made his people forget how they lived in before the war.
2538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value more if no Altcoins or not on: March 10, 2022, 10:02:09 PM
Is it true that bitcoin is not affected by the altcoins?

bitcoin is not affected by any altcoin, but with the emergence of many altcoins they create a market where it has competitiveness and attracts more investors, so altcoins are also responsible for the growth of this cryptocurrency market. I'm not someone who invests in new altcoins and I'm also in favor of freedom of choice, I don't think there should only be bitcoin, that wouldn't be good, the way the market is in my opinion is very good
If there were only bitcoin surely the growth could've been very low than the present. As said when there is competence, automatically there'll be growth. Bitcoin came into existence as an alternate to traditional fiat. More and more features addition lead to the existence of more and more altcoins. The market is in good shape with the combined move of bitcoin and altcoins.
2539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the Bitcoin network if Russia blocks access to the internet? on: March 10, 2022, 08:03:29 AM
About a month back, it was Kazakhstan placed on the second position among the bitcoin mining hotspots. Based on electricity consumption index data for March it is said that Kazakhstan will loss its second position and the void gets filled by Russia. We don't know the reality, however at this moment Russia seems to encourage mining than making a ban.

After USA it is Russia to contribute much to crypto mining. There is very minimal chance Russia block access to the internet. If such scenario happens, a void gets created and the same gets fulfilled by other countries. So, this doesn't look like a disturbance to the cryptocurrency network.
2540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women's Day Wishes to all Women Bitcoiners on: March 10, 2022, 07:14:52 AM
most women who don't like cryptocurrencies of course because cryptocurrency is very complex and not easy to learn. Some women are lazy to deepen their knowledge about crypto. But I know some women and they are also my friends, they are very active in crypto even as traders and as very reliable community managers. this proves that women also take part in developing cryptocurrencies.
I think it's really not as complicated as they think, Women like what is simple and light. For men we can sit for hours in front of the computer playing games, learning new things but women probably won't.
Yes. There are a lot of female crypto community managers that I have met, they are great. Crypto are always welcome to everyone.,so it would be great if more women are involved in the development of the crypto community.
Women used to get a solution in a much easier way than men, but they won't get into complex things. Another thing that strikes my mind, very few get passionate into technology and modern development. Majority used to shrink their lives within the family, which means taking care of kids and family. After taking care of all these responsibilities there are women who help making the community strong. I wholeheartedly bow head to greet every women.
