I think the beef between Shakib Al Hasan and the Bangladesh cricket board is always going to be there. Or at least as long as Mr. Nazrml Hasan Papon is the president of BCB.

Bangladesh Cricket Board has been released a news, Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will be rested from all kind of cricket formats until 30th of April. Thus, He will miss Bangladesh's forthcoming tour of South Africa. He is a world class athlete and no one can disagree with that but at the same time he lacks discipline. BCB should focus on building quality players to manage such crisis if any of their top players not interested to play.  

Tired of all this drama with Shakib and the BCB. Bangladesh do have some good players, such as Mustafizur Rahman and Liton Das. But without any argument, Shakib is a class apart. In many ways, he is similar to Virat Kohli of India. And in this case, I would say that BCB handled him unfairly, when compared to how the BCCI handled Kohli. The immediate priority for the BCB should be to improve their rankings in test an ODI formats, and for that purpose these sort of controversies are not helpful in anyway.

These types of controversies shouldn't have happened if BCB actually knew how to do their work ok. At the moment the Bangladesh cricket board is filled with people who have no idea how to do their job and people who are just looking to get their hands on a good amount of money.

But he found that the money is really good. So somehow he selected himself to be the President of the Bangladesh cricket board by using political power. As per my knowledge shakib has played 59 test, 218 ODIs and 96 T20Is for Bangladesh and still I read posts that BCB has not done justice with that legendary all rounder. What else a player need from his board if he has played so many matches.

These types of controversies shouldn't have happened if BCB actually knew how to do their work ok. At the moment the Bangladesh cricket board is filled with people who have no idea how to do their job and people who are just looking to get their hands on a good amount of money.

You're this statement is shocking for me as after 23 years of test states and having very long experience of playing cricket they still have no idea how to handle things fairly in board because this all need some good and strong team work, and I was feeling they are good and professional but after reading this all now feeling if they have nothing idea and just one player is having headache for them then they need to shut down and this all business and try on some better way for living.

Simply they need to do some paper work and try to arrange few domestics set up from there they can bring some good players and professional management peoples those do this all with good and spirited way for better and quality of their country.

Now they already have franchise cricket which is giving them good profit, so now funds are available just setting all this sports authority is nothing any serious concern for Government and peoples those are involved in this for very long time.

The match is going great - both the teams are in great spirits. Good batting, excellent fielding and wonderful bowling by both the team. England lost its 6 wicket now and still 37 to win from 38 balls. Pressure building up. I am siding SA too.

Exactly my point because 23 years is a long time for any Nation. And by this time Bangladesh should have been recognized as a force to be reckoned with in cricket but that is not something we will see right now. Nepotism and favoritism have been in the Bangladesh cricket board like a plague. And the only way to remove this is to change the personnel on the board in my opinion.

Exactly my point because 23 years is a long time for any Nation. And by this time Bangladesh should have been recognized as a force to be reckoned with in cricket but that is not something we will see right now. The problem is Shakib Al Hasan wants to be treated better as he is the best player in the Bangladesh team and the board thinks that has a problem. They just don't want to admit that they have the best cricketer in their team and want to establish their authority everywhere. that's where the communication gap between the cricket board and the players comes into play which has held the Bangladesh cricket team back for a long time.

^ It was really unbelievable how the Pakistan team collapsed. I actually think that they were under some good amount of criticism after the draw in the first 2 matches. I think they felt like they had to go for the win in this test, they obviously can do that.

But, you know, they really become overconfident too. It was really surreal how their 1st innings collapsed. Now, they need 314 runs on the last day of the test match & they have 8 wickets in hand. Babar Azam really needs to stay at the crease for a long time if they do want to achieve that target and others will also need to play a big role and make big partnerships.

That was a really moderate target for a team like Australia to chase. And they are a lot better as a team than west indies. It was quite expected for most people, I would say.
But I really have to talk about Ellyse Perry. A really sensational cricketer. And she really seems to be everywhere in the match. It's really hard to find a player like that. She might be the Shakib Al Hasan of women's cricket. 

A perfect all-rounder. And she plays a big role in almost everyone in Australia. As she also did in the match against West Indies.

Yeah... congrats to Pakistan for saving the match. But the man of the match award should go to the curator who prepared the dead pitch. To be frank, the pitch was not of international quality and it is a shame that the PCB needs to resort to such cheap tactics to get some points in the WTC. If they had prepared a lively pitch and lost the match, then there was some honor in that. At least we could have said that they tried hard. But for this series, from the very first day the Pakistanis went on the defensive. There is no honor even if they win a few points from drawn matches.

England vs WI test series is also in progress and first match ended in draw and on first day of second test England were 244/3 at stumps. What you will say about curator of that pitches? I have already said in Test match thread and will repeat that both teams are equally strong for each other and its right of country to make pitches according to there own will.
