2521  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is not limited till buying Bitcoins, it is beyond this. on: September 14, 2021, 05:56:33 PM
Crypto IS those things, buying bitcoins is investment part of it, nobody said that buying bitcoins was the whole of crypto experience. I mean sure buying bitcoins (or altcoins) is a vast majority of it, many people only see crypto as "I pay fiat to get crypto, then it goes up, then I sell crypto for a lot more fiat and I become rich". Unfortunately, most people get in just with that idea.

However, reality is that we have 300k+ people playing axie, and many more looking for scholarships, and that is just p2e game, let alone all the other things. Look at NFT's, all those cryptopunks and bored ape or whatevers are just 10k in numbers but there were ones that got sold for millions (for a reason I will never understand). Which means that we are talking about people who do understand that crypto is much more than just buying, they are not majority but they are there.
2522  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: September 13, 2021, 05:29:00 PM
If it is possible to not see any car winners, I think there will be a big question or even a big doubt among chips players about this anniversary promotion. Frankly speaking, their previous Tesla raffle was better because the raffle used a provably fair system to draw the winner if I remember it correctly. Many days remaining till the end of this promotion though, lets see and wait who will be the lucky winners of the grand prizes and I hope all the 5 cars are claimed at the end of the promo.
I would assume that they would definitely post a picture with the car and put it on social media as a requirement as well. Plus, I know that so many other places are basically saying they are willing to give the money amount instead of anything else, meaning that there could be some sort of situation where person who wins will not even get a car, and hence we can't really know if he won or not, what could he do pose with the money? Cheesy.

This is why sometimes you just have to let it go and trust the website that they gave it to who they say they did. Obviously that would sound shady if it was another place, but this is chips, they are as good as it gets.
2523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading VS investing: pros & cons you should know on: September 13, 2021, 03:52:32 PM
If you have a job that you’re doing then investment will be a better option to go with. Unless you have plans to leave your job and maybe face cryptocurrency as a full time job, then day-trading will be a good option to go with. When it comes to investment it takes a long time, and not everyone can have that kind of patience that is required, that's why you will see a lot of people going into day trading.

The good thing with investment is that there isn’t much risk involved in it like you would face when you’re into day-trading. Day trading requires working everyday and investing and making use of your money every time and that puts you in a position of losing it at anytime.
2524  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: September 13, 2021, 03:18:12 PM
This has been said so many times and I still see people repeating it again and again. No matter how much you say there are still going to be those who will fall for it, so there’s really nothing you can do about this. But anyone who is wise enough will always be able to avoid being a victim of these online scammers.

This command has a lot of tactics that they use, and sometimes they put people into fear and there’s one of the ways that they used to force them to get something out from them. So, that end is you have to be really wise enough to know when things are very wrong and also avoid giving out information that you shouldn’t be giving out to others and keep it to yourselves. When it has to do with the banking, you already know that your bank cannot request your information from you online when you are not present in the bank, so anything that has to do with your banking online you have to make sure that you Got your bank to rectify it.
2525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin users should be careless about the price and trade bitcoin instead on: September 13, 2021, 08:20:37 AM
I keep telling people that Bitcoin is not just an investment but also a currency that can be used for transactions. I don’t like the fact that a lot of people these days are seeing Bitcoin as a means to make money quick online and then they all quit after they have made that money.

It's really bad, because when you do research on Bitcoin the main purpose of which it was created was to serve as a method of transaction and not just an investment. Moreover the whitepaper never mentioned anything about being an investment it was just talking about being a Method of transaction and nothing much. But for the fact that its value is not stable, that’s what resulted to people seeing it as an investment.
2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is not Legalized Despite the Many Benefits on: September 13, 2021, 06:25:01 AM
To my knowledge the first cryptocurrency was Bitcoin. Do you agree?
Since 2009 Bitcoin was launched by a person on behalf of Satoshi Nakamoto (aka) there have been very many positive things that have been obtained by people in the cryptocurrency space. Because Bitcoin has a limited stock, thus making the price of BTC expensive and then in anticipation of people being able to invest in crypto, Altcoins were born as an alternative.
Yes, you are right. There are lots of things that the world has benefited from Bitcoin, it has created lots of opportunities that we see today. The invention of Bitcoin has opened the world to a new area that we never knew existed. This time around there are lots of alternative coins and there are lots of other things that have come into play.

Now we have NFTs, and other inventions that are coming into the community. Bitcoin was the gate to it all, if it was never invented, then we wouldn’t have seen all these things that we are seeing now, all the opportunities. Bitcoin was what opened our eyes to see them all, thanks to satoshi nakamoto. So, if you talk about benefits , there are lots of them that bitcoin has brought. As for bitcoin being legalized, not in our power to do so, it is left for the government. It has been legalized in so many countries already.
2527  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 12, 2021, 08:47:13 PM
As far as gambling licenses go, I think the curacao gambling license is most easily available and has all the terms in the favor of the casino. I somewhere heard that the license allows the casino to handle the customer complaints of its own and the license provider won't interfere at all. And talking of the benefits of such a license for the gambling house, there is some relaxation on the taxes as well, if you operate virtually or something like that.

Almost all the crypto casinos have their license from the same provider and there must be a good reason for that.
2528  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🐒 ApeSwap partnership on: September 12, 2021, 12:47:08 PM
Listing with big exchange would bring more interest for sure. They are progressive and with how you enumerate those updates seem that there's something bigger than what we are witnessing today.

It's good to see that they are adding more games. It will add more potential gamblers to use this site for their gambling activities.

While to those who are into investment side, adding more partnerships will simply bring new investors to this project.
Listing more games would definitely bring in a lot more people. They are adding more games these days and that matters a lot. In crypto world things are fleeting, at all times. If you stay still without any improvement at all then it will definitely be a problem and people will leave. I mean think about it, there is a good chance that many casinos are getting a lot less customers daily just because they have no new news and that is a very big problem for the old ones since they already added so much, so they keep getting more news from promotions and bonuses and such constantly.

Betfury is lucky, they are on apeswap for their token, and they are getting new games constantly because they still can, they should do justice to this situation and have a huge marketing campaign, from signature to twitter to telegram, everything should be included, it would really help a lot.
2529  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 12, 2021, 10:47:17 AM
@ReiMomo
What you should be looking forward for is the progress you are making instead of getting demotivated by other members just because they are good at what they are doing. You see, other members are correct that you should take into account the time spent learning their craft. As I have said before, I failed numerous events in an art competition and I am sensitive enough to understand what you feel, however, it should not be a delimiting factor to strive for something better especially in the art scene.
Thank you for that encouragement but sometimes there is such thing that we must accept the fact that our entry is not enough to compete with others. I am not demotivated, just accepting the fact that in this field of an art contest you are so weak. When I saw your entry, it is too far from mine and I know at the end, those the same entry as yours will be the lucky winner and get the prize. It is good to give up than forcing yourself from the truth that you are a good artist but in fact, you are not. But thank you, those lack of skills in art like me was admiring your work.
Do no gamble comparing yourself to others, gamble only just because you want to gamble. That way you would know what to do and you know what you like and you can keep doing that. If you are not good at what you do that still doesn't matter because if you are enjoying it then it means you are doing something right. Obviously there are situations where you will lose a lot, or situations you will not wager as much as others, or any other situation that may look not so good from outside. All of that is negated by the fact that if you are enjoying what you do and happy while gambling then it makes up for all the negative stuff.

I gamble because I like to gamble, I do not gamble to compare myself to other gamblers, yes there are many people who gamble a lot of money but that doesn't mean that I have to catch up to them, I can gamble a lot less and have a lot more fun.
2530  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 12, 2021, 09:38:04 AM
The mulitiplier is very high, 66,666x and the wager amount is $1. That bet ended with $66,666 in award that is amazing. Should I call it as Rollbit slot giveaway?

Congratulations to the winner because the odds to win with 66,666 multiplier is very small. The winner fortunately proved that it is possible.  Shocked
That is a seriously huge win. I mean normally I always say "yeah they won big but how much they spent before and after?" to big wins because I know that you could get a 999x easily if you just gamble a few thousand times, and that is not really impossible, even with $1 eventually you will get there. However this one is different, this one is actually big, it is like actually quite big. That is why I am shocked for the first time ever in crypto casino world for such a huge win.

Not only the odds are huge, but the amount is neither tiny nor very big, as in, I have seen people who won 50k+ before, many many times and I have also seen people who wager like less than a cent and win big odds. However I have never seen someone who wager as little as $1 but ended up winning 66k+, that part is definitely a rare situation and I really feel shocked about it.
2531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could crypto replace government? on: September 12, 2021, 05:52:01 AM
Cryptocurrency cannot replace the government, first of all you should ask yourself what is cryptocurrency? crypto is just a thing, while the government is the people. And we delete cryptocurrency is built, it is decentralized.  so if we are to assume that cryptocurrency is going to replace the government, then we are saying that there is not going to be any government, since things are going to be now decentralized. And remember a place where there is no rules that means people will be forced to misbehave.

Rules are needed to guide us in whatever we are doing and in a situation where there are no rules to guide us as human beings we tend to misbehave and do what’s not right. Although I do understand that the government themselves also do the wrong things at times, but we ourselves are the ones who voted them into power, so I believe if we are able to vote the right people into power and also stand for a right then things are going to be OK.
2532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AND YET ANOTHER FALL; A dip or A dump. on: September 11, 2021, 09:55:44 PM
At that end of the day there is a reason why we call crypto "volatile" and this is one of the reasons. We do not call it crashing, we do not call it skyrocketing, we call it volatile. Reason for that is the simple fact of bitcoin (and altcoins) go up and down. I personally believe that we should definitely not be too much excited about the potential of a bigger drop, because it doesn't seem to be crashing at all right now.

It means that it may recover very soon. I understand that people are changing, back in the day people used to feel dread and upset whenever price went down, nowadays people are happy that they are buying at lower prices again. This is a marvelous change that will help crypto in the future. If we keep this optimism going for a while longer, it is only matter of time to see 100k+ become reality and imagining that 10k was a big break through for us, having 100k is seriously awesome.
2533  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin ever go down like 2018-2020 on: September 11, 2021, 09:19:16 PM
2019 started with around 3.5k dollars and ended with 7k+ at the end, even had a rush to 14k at the middle of the year as well, so I do not know why you would say it went down during that period. 2020 was the start of this bull run and started with around 9k and ended with nearly 30k price as well, so that was 3x that we had in 2020. Only year in bitcoins existence that had a big fall was 2018 and that's it, we never had any year like that and never had before it as well.

So, no I do not think that we will have that kind of fall again, we will be doing fine and the price will keep on going higher and higher in the long run. It may take a while to break ATH, or 100k which are the two goals people have but they will happen, even if not tomorrow, it will happen in a year and I can wait for it for sure.
2534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you scared? on: September 11, 2021, 08:16:50 PM
Honestly I have been crypto way too long to feel any fear at all. I have seen this coin in 3 digits, so 5 digits are still fine for me, even if drops to 10k because that is what it was like just a year ago or so. People are overreacting, we reached to point where we were like a week or 10 days ago, how could we feel too much fear if we didn't buy in the last 10 days?

Everyone acting like bitcoin is at a price where it has never been before or haven't been in a long time. However reality is that we are in a place where we are doing fine right now. Remember we were at 30k levels only a month or two ago, so we are actually 50% in profit if we only bought a few months ago, that's gotta count for something.
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: September 11, 2021, 06:32:24 AM
I do not get why people have to overreact to things. I understand that we had a fall but that doesn't change the fact that we didn't had a fall THAT big, we had a decent size fall and that's fine. Obviously we need to DCA this and accumulate more in order to profit otherwise we are just waiting with our hands tied and that's never good.

I personally feel responsible to my finances to do something about this like maybe I should be doing a much bigger purchase of bitcoin while it is here.

However I do not have too much money left these days, in fact I may even have to end up selling some, but I am looking for other methods for now. To be fair, bitcoin is looking dreamy right now for me, instead of selling, buy as much as you can afford to without hurting your finances.
2536  Economy / Speculation / Re: The dump was only a funding reset on: September 10, 2021, 08:37:18 PM
I am 100% sure that it was a whale made crash to make people scared of the decision made by El Salvador. If they had a horrible start on their first day, then it would be a lot of reason for the opposition to talk about, and that way they could have gotten more votes than the ruling party using this as well. It may not be a big deal for you and me right now, but believe me it is a huge deal for people who live there.

This is why I believe that whales tried to make the government look weak and show this as a bad decision by selling all at once. Or it could be just one big crypto whale getting out as well. Believe me no retail investor could make it drop that much in half an hour even if a million of us got together, there would be way too little coordination for that to work. Which is why I believe that this was a man made whale crash and not important.
2537  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: September 10, 2021, 06:11:50 PM

The NFL Kicks off real soon, so make sure you remember to get your first bet on!
(Word around the office is we are a bit down on expected players for this promo atm, so a higher chance one of you guys will take the prize!)    Wink Wink

So head to here and have a quick look and bet!! >>>https://sportsbet.io/promotions/nfl-last-man-standing
I believe because this place became the other footballs place more likely. I mean when you check how many people gamble "soccer" compared to NFL it makes sense that we have a lot less people participating in the NFL promotions because that is not what the bigger community does. There are people who wager on NFL and specially on super bowl, I do not watch NFL at all except super bowl so that is something (well mainly because it is a great atmosphere, top of a billion dollar business each year). So, that is why I believe that there will be less people, not because of anything you have done, don't worry about it.

I probably will join, just so I could participate, I probably won't even watch it, just to be part of the community here. Once again, you guys have nothing to worry about steve, we still love football and we still love sportsbet.io, just not this football I suppose.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AND YET ANOTHER FALL; A dip or A dump. on: September 10, 2021, 03:14:08 PM
And yet another increase. We should not be really too much connected to any increase or decrease; they are always temporary. We live in a crypto world where the long term is always higher, and the short term is always volatile. If you keep looking at the short term all the time and imagine that’s how it will go then you are going to end up losing money all the time. Obviously, there are periods when it takes time before it can go up, look at 2018 and you will see that it wasn't nice, but even in that period we had so many times when it moved up and down as well.

So long story short, do not think every drop has a bigger meaning behind it, it is just a drop, sometimes they need to happen so we can go up again and then down again. This period has been nothing but hectic people claiming terrible stuff is going on, but in reality is another boring fall that will be 50k+ again.
2539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: September 10, 2021, 01:01:29 PM
When I was new to crypto trading, I used to chat on the exchange chat itself. I remember Poloniex had such an option or maybe it was some other exchange but I did use to chat with guys and that time, there were legit traders who used to share good information and even made friends chatting on these exchanges.

Now though, most of the users are either begging or shilling for some random coins and it's nearly impossible to maintain a proper conversation. Also, I am not sure if any changes allow chat either. Haven't used polo for a while.

As far as telegram channels are concerned, they are just divided into two categories: scams and spams (shilling).
2540  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: September 10, 2021, 09:42:08 AM
We can not manage to win because that will depend on our luck and how good our skills are to analyze the gambling games if that is a sports betting or the gambling games needs skills and strategies.
Apart from sports betting, you can't really win against a casino with any strategy or skills. and it doesn't make sense to discuss sports betting since it's not available at duelbits yet.

if that gambling game is based on luck, that will be more difficult to win as we do not know when our luck will come.
Even if you get lucky for a day or two, the law of averages and maths will come into play eventually. The whole idea of making money with a casino is a problem. I do gamble but it's only meant to be fund for me.

As long as we know our limit and never try to break it, we will not have a problem and who knows, we can still enjoy our time in gambling games.
Right, and fun should be the only reason for gambling.
