1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal allows to withdraw Bitcoin to external wallets (and send to Paypal) on: June 12, 2022, 05:53:32 PM
About 'no fees at all for sending crypto from one Paypal account to another.' when you are not actually transferring the bitcoin to another wallet and there is no network fee to pay for the transaction it's not really surprising to see them taking no fee for their internal transactions because it's not a big deal to see them doing this for the users.
But the most interesting part is the second one, about fees to send from your Paypal account here is where people should pay the transaction fee but they will not take any additional fees.
Unfortunately there are some places that still charge this as a "service fee", but the competition made it a bad thing. If all websites charged this, then all would continue to do it, but when a few big names start doing it for free, it became a forced thing to do for free otherwise everyone would go there.

Like Binance does user to user transfers for free, the network fee is still taken, but if it is another user on the receiving end, you could get the network fee back, or send that to the receiver as well. When even the biggest one which is Binance does this, Paypal sort of had to do it, but still some charge you for it in the name of providing a service.
1622  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 11, 2022, 06:38:49 PM
I wouldn't say that to avoid giving gambling advice, or to listen to others is the golden rule of investing. We can't no everything when it comes to investing, the markets are to big. It can be helpful to take advice from others, but we should always remain critical and make up our own mind. Trusting others blindly is foolish, but making our own research after getting advise from others is clever in my opinion.
It is true that getting advice from others could be a bit of a problem. Long term solutions to what we have right now would be to learn how to trade. I always said the same thing, if someone tells you which coin to buy, then you should stay away from that person at all costs, but if someone tells you how you could pick a coin to trade, then you could be doing a lot better. This is why learn how to trade, and not what to trade.

Diversification and DCA together makes it impossible for you to lose if you have patience. Those three things could lead any person, with any capital, to turn into a rich person with enough time, it may take a few years, or may take a few decades but they will become rich.
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: June 11, 2022, 03:19:36 PM
I think it wont "boom" again. Trend is over. Every one has already understood that there is nothing behind this digital art and value of such "masterpieces" dont grow by itself. As a proof - try to remember when was the last time you have heard a celebrity or someone popular has bough NFT? What were recent the biggest news you have heard or read about NFT? When the last time you saw a $ million deal with NFT ?
You are talking about the NFT's that are images, and you are right there is a good case that it won't boom again. However, NFT is not only the images that we have seen, all those cryptopunks and apes and all that are futile and useless. The real deal would come when projects start to utilize NFT even more, when you do that the fact that it will go on will stand.

Like there are literally musicians that sell the rights to their songs, so you could earn from their royalty, not a lot but the feeling is enough. As long as the utility of NFT stands, there will be some projects that will have a different approach which will make it popular again one day.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets? on: June 11, 2022, 01:44:52 PM
Exchanges aren't even safe in the first place. Those you have mentioned is always susceptible to cyber attacks/hack. Exchanges could also freeze your asset if for some reason they are suspecting you. At least use decentralized wallets like Electrum or to make it much safer than these options, use hardware wallets. That also depends on the amount of Bitcoin you possess, coz when you only have like 0.01 there is no point in spreading your asset throughout 3-4 wallets lol.
There is no exchange with 100% security guarantee, you could never be safe in any exchange without any doubt of problems, of course all exchanges have that. However, regular pc, or ledger nano, or anything else that a regular person would have not 100% guaranteed neither.

Even if a hacker can't manage to scam you directly, they could very well find a way to social hack you, meaning they could make you GIVE your money to them somehow, basically by talking to you, that is how scams work in most cases. This is why you shouldn't really be trusting anything if that is the path we are going with. Exchanges at least have higher security than our computers.
1625  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ 🌟BITVEST.io🌟 💰WIN BY 🔶PLAY 📈INVEST➡🔺🎲🎰🔲 | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: June 10, 2022, 02:25:10 PM
For now, we don't know if Lightlord will return or ask his team for a comeback. But hopefully, they will come back again with new ideas and concepts so that it will be a good comeback for them after being offline for a while.

Maybe people's trust and hope have started to disappear, but I think they can still get a second chance to start their business. But of course, it wasn't easy to convince their previous members, let alone those who had been gone a long time.
They can do whatever they want, it is not going to change anything in the short term. People do not want them to comeback with a million dollars giveaway or something, that would not be the way to comeback and convince people that they are here for the long term.

People want them to comeback, and stay, that is the path. If they comeback and be active everyday for a year, then they are doing a great job and people will trust them again, even if there isn't anything more than the regular signature campaign, because they would see them as back. However, if they come back, and text a million dollar giveaway once, and be absent for another 3 months, how could you trust them?
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read this before you exit crypto space on: June 10, 2022, 11:09:56 AM
I don't think they are ethereum killers
Not even one of them can hold up as well as ethereum in this kind of market situation. Those are just claims made by developers or supporters of Hedera, Solana, Algorand, and Avalanche, but it seems they forgot they were dealing with ethereum. The only thing that has any chance of beating ethereum is a bnb, in my opinion. Hedera, Solana, algorand, Avalanche, they are only a small part of ethereum, nothing to worry about
Although the coins you mentioned are coins that have potential but it's too much to think that they are Ethereum killers,
BNB does have an opportunity for that but so far Ethereum is still above it,
maybe it's better to just follow the movement and the progress will be like
I do agree that BNB has a good potential to be up there, it is a very fluid development project as well. Whenever something gets a bit more famous, they end up putting something in BNB that will cover it, and that is why I believe that it is 100% something that will get a ton of attention. I know that ETH is great, and I believe that ETH will keep on being the second ranked coin and it will get used a ton by the people for sure.

However, just because it is that great, doesn't mean that other ones are bad neither. By this logic, what I mean is, while eth could go from 2 to 4, bnb could go from 1 to 2, still lower in ranking, but at least same levels of increase.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: June 09, 2022, 08:51:09 PM
The track had changed from when it was first introduced to the F1 circuit. Baku has a castle for crying out loud along the track.
Ferrari seem to have an advantage on this track according to this youtube video I watched explaining alot about the track and how it differs from many of the others in terms of a 90 degree turn which I don't think any of the other tracks have.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmeGFVCdq2k

Very well done video to watch before getting ready for the practice races coming up later this week so to familiarize yourselves with what to expect from this race.
People like Vettel and Max and Hamilton has a bit more advantage during the Baku race. The difference is that they are fierce and aggressive racers that do not only rely on talent but also take risks that are like inch to the side and you are done. Obviously Vettel will do probably nothing this race, wouldn't really matter to the top, and it is unlikely that Hamilton would matter neither, possible but unlikely.

This leaves Max there, so if Max races like crazy again, and takes all the risks and every part of the available track, then he will have an easy win. But if something unexpected happens and his risk doesn't pay off, he could crash out and Charles could still win.
1628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: June 09, 2022, 05:22:08 PM
One of the reasons why I don't stay in groups like this is because even though I can give good information, there are telegram users who can be humans or bots that send you messages greeting you and offering to put money on a certain platform, and when you tell them that you are not interested in it, the person or bot becomes very intense, and it is really annoying, sometimes they want to inquire about us and it is not good, currently there are all types of contact, be it with people or bots, we don't know if there is a virus involved and they get information.
Unfortunately I have been part of something like that, not from the doing part, I was on the receiving end of something like that. I got fooled by a person with 10k+ users, which turned out to be bots, they looked very real when you look at the names and the images, but when they started to actually participate, you realize it is just bots.

So, telegram is not really the best place to get anything out of, channels, groups, personal messages, all of them could be just there to scam you and you would not know about it. So, it is better to just simply focus on chatting with real people, when you chat with them actually, you realize if they are real or not.
1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: June 09, 2022, 04:23:26 PM
I think now is the right time to buy immediately, I regret buying a lot when the bitcoin price is more than $50k and now it's down more than 40% compared to what I bought, but this doesn't make me panic, I have a target to continue buying, when red prices like now then the best time to buy.
You must not call that regret because 50k is too high to wait for now like a high percent of discount so instead of feeling regret ? best to feel thankful because of not buying that high?

so like your plan and advise ? better buy now or buy never lol, Imagine 40% discount from that 50k that you supposedly buying?
now ou can have it very cheap so take that advantage .
That’s true, buying at 50k+ shouldn't make anyone panic, but there are people who bought at 33k and still panic at the current price. That is a wrong move, I agree with that, but there are so many people who bought at 50k and lower and still panic that, paul pogba not being panic mode right now is the correct thing to do but a rare thing that we see, which is why we shouldn't really devalue what he has done so far.

Kudos Pogba for not selling right now in a panic mode, because that would be the wrong thing to do that a lot of people did. You are doing the right thing, hold it long enough, buy some more if you can at these prices, and wait for it to go back.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Between $24K and $27K on: June 09, 2022, 12:21:44 PM
Don't ever expect you to see bitcoin never experiencing correction or volatility, that's highly unlikely. This is how the bitcoin market works where there are times when the price goes down or up and I think this is where trading gets interesting. You can never guess where the price will go if it is not supported by several causes including hype, fud or others.

Price correction is an important part for bitcoin where we can find price forming new support to start breaking down resistance above it. So if your mindset about this decline as something very negative, then you really can't take advantage of this market to make a profit.
Unfortunately but at the same time fortunately, bitcoin is volatile and that means we are going to make a ton of profit by using the volatility of it, but also there will be a lot of people who will lose money because of it as well.

Like when it is bull run, we all make profit and that is a good thing for all of us, I do not sell because I am a long term investor but I was up so much at one point, not rich enough to retire, but could have bought a car with it if I wanted to for example, a small amount that turned into a car, great feeling, that's thanks to volatility. But many people lost car worth of money when it dropped as well.
1631  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has SEC contributed to the blockchain industry? on: June 09, 2022, 02:54:05 AM
SEC and other organizations and impartial investigative parties are working to ensure that investors are not deceived as a result of the emotional investment resulting from the rapid profit that is being portrayed in social media.

Binance takes advantage of novice investors and others by listing some currencies, helping to promote them and then selling at a point that leads to all beginners losing their money. If this model is done in agreement with the platform, the authorities will investigate such violations, just as happened in the recent scam related to Luna.

As for the blockchain, it is decentralized and therefore it is difficult to impose government control over it, but the more we have strong central platforms and they are investigated, the faster we develop.
You are saying that they are investigating so that people wouldn't be scammed, but whenever they find a problem with anywhere, they just give them a fine, and get paid about it and let them move on. How is that helping us? Like last year, they realized that USDT is not backed properly, and needed to liquidate some amount, which USDT did and thank god for that, but then SEC charged them with 19 million dollars or something if I am not wrong, then let them be.

So right now, USDT could be not backed again, nobody would know. This is why I believe that they are basically extorting money from the bad companies to keep on scamming us and nothing more, not helping us at all.
1632  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding my horses for now on: June 08, 2022, 06:04:38 PM
Of course buying them cheap is the best strategy for any investments, but how do you identify accurately if this current price is the bottom or not? This is where people miss the opportunity especially during the dip, a huge dip just like what we have currently. What if the bottom was 26k and you have bought any. People would always be screaming "DCA".
What's more worth it? Not buying at all because Btc did not fall to $19k or bought some for $26k?
Nevertheless, buying today would surely profit you in the long run, that's what all matters.
You check the price and how much it went down in the last 1 year. When the price is 26k and the highest is 68k, you know that is the bottom, plus it stays there and doesn't really go down neither. This works for 30k or even 35k as well, you would have been in a loss if you bought at 35k, but you know that you could DCA that lower, and you could always get a better price very quickly as well, reaching 35k+ would be easy for bitcoin for sure.

So, it is not really that much of a trouble at all. What I am aiming at right now is 40k+, and I bought much lower, so it is not really a big problem for me at all, all I have to do is just wait for it to happen.
1633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: June 08, 2022, 02:18:03 PM
The top coins are all trendsetters while the small market cap coins just follow the leaders. You made a very good point that some tokens will go against the flow just to get noticed and top the gainers chart and bring new investors. But that can only happen for a day or week depending on how much the token team is ready to burn because it's impossible to sustain that momentum without paid impetus.

If you are investing during a bull run in crypto make sure it's one of the top coins like BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP (suspicious because of their issues with SEC but still good, etc because the last thing you want to do is put your money into a potential rug pull or meme coin that has nothing but the hype behind it which will be over by the time you buy the tokens lmao. Meme coins are like coronavirus, you may evade loss/virus for a while but you are sure to face loss if you keep buying them.
Trendsetting is not really the thing we should be looking for right now though from the top ones. Safe investment is the main reason why the big names are there for us, the low ones could end up not recovering at all, or do badly when the time comes, or even go lower from here.

But, when you are investing into bitcoin or ethereum or bnb for example, that means that we are talking about something that would be profitable for all of us. I personally would love to make sure that I do not lose money, more than I would like to make profit, and that is why the best thing to do right now is to invest into top ranked coins and wait as long as you have to.
1634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: June 08, 2022, 01:03:08 PM
I know for a fact that I had to do some stuff that would change things, but it will not be a simple change, I had to relearn all I knew about indicators in order to make sure that I didn't do any mistakes, because there were plenty of times when I lost money when in fact I did everything correctly like I should. It is not going to be a big major shock to anyone, but indicators do not have 100% success rate, if they did, we would all be simply using them and be wealthy.
Exactly what I am saying, not all the time indicators can help, there have been time I was using high leverage and trading altcoin which are more volatile than bitcoin, I did almost everything correctly but just because of high leverage and because trading indicators can not be 100% accurate, slight mistake led to liquidation of my asset, not long the market corrected to the extent I ought to gain but no asset again. This has happened to me like five times before I know I should reduce my leverage and I prefer to trade bitcoin now.
This is the risk of high leverage, you are aiming at making profit as if you have a huge capital, with the little capital you have, that is the understanding of leverage trading. So, if you want to invest 10k, but want to profit like you invested 100k, then the risk of you losing is bigger.

So, when you have a 10% drop, it will liquidate all of your money and it will be all gone, because it just went from 100k to 90k with 10% drop, but since you leveraged your 10k, that will cover it. This is the "basics" of it, so if you are risking such high amount, for a high profit, then sometimes when it drops then you need to face it and accept it and move on.

We have made an important update. Thanks to this, the work of the platform has been stabilized.

All your funds and accounts are safe🔐 The DDoS attack was aimed at destabilizing the platform's operation, reducing the reputation and trust of BetFury. 💪Nevertheless, our team has repelled the attack, and we did a lot to make everything work stably.

we are preparing a Bonus to apologize for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for your big trust 🙏
It is going to happen to every casino, it is not really a shock that it would happen to betfury neither, because this is a big place and has a ton of tokens as well, you guys are not just a casino but also a project that ends up making profit based on the token itself as well.

This is why I highly suspect that the people who attacked you were after your reputation alone, maybe that was a thing too but I think that people who attacked you were after the hot wallet. That way they could live without ever having to work again. Think about it this way, 120k means that if you could get that, you could buy 2 houses in USA and rent it for AT LEAST 500 bucks each, making 1k a month, that is money that could be a salary good for %99 of the population o the world.
1636  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 200% deposit bonus, 🕡 valid for 48 hours! on: June 07, 2022, 08:18:23 PM
It is a pity that they have already stopped the campaign. From my head the campaign has already stopped twice, while it had only just lasted a week. I think they have good intentions with the site, but the project has been grossly underestimated. It wasn't a smart idea to let Royse777 post the flyer either, it feels like he's abusing his DT status in this way. Bitlucy then created an account itself. Anyway, let's hope the problems will soon be a thing of the past.
It can be a pity that they stopped their signature campaign but they will have their reasons for it. Why would Royse abuse his DT status? He has connections to the site so he can promote them all they want.
The deposit bonus of 200% is interesting but a minimum of 100$ is quite high in my opinion.
Between the problems they had, and the money that they spent on recovering from it, I am guessing that they may lack the funds to keep on going. I am not saying that it will be a problem for a long time, but at the same time it is definitely not a problem for them neither.

I get that we may want them to keep on their signature campaign, but if they remove it and see it's fine, then they will keep on not doing that. Or if they think it was great, then they will recover, make some more money, save aside, and then repeat it again in the future to get those people again. All in all, they know their finances better than we do so there is nothing shocking about it.
1637  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 07, 2022, 04:08:38 PM
cashless transactions have their advantages, but it has its disadvantages too and we should take into account both of it. Not the positive side only, but both sides of the coin. Having a strong internet connection isn't only the requirement of going cashless. But also having a suitable device and of course, knowledge on how to navigate the app or platform.

Being aware of how to use cashless methods is a must. However, not everyone has the mental capacity to grasp the idea of going cashless. We have elders who aren't much knowledgeable about technology as well as youngsters who don't know much. In addition, we have many people beyond the poverty line as well who cannot afford to buy gadgets and avail internet connection or even prepaid plan.

You see, these factors contribute a lot as to why we aren't fully transitioning to cashless policy just yet. And it should be take into consideration until the time we are fully prepared and ready for it.
I am not entirely sure, should we just ignore the better method just because there are places that do not have internet connection? I mean I get it, you can't get it clearly in some African and Asian nations, even in some urban places of the USA as well, or elevators, or some places do not get clean signals and all of that. In that case having some sort of cash would be a great deal.

But, should be just ignore the greatness of a cashless society just because there are some internet connection problems of 5% of the world, when the other 95% would benefit from it? Why not just try to improve the internet services and provide it to everyone by investing into that?
1638  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: June 07, 2022, 10:10:33 AM
I agree that it won't go down that much. Its clear to me that bitcoin has already hit the very low, it won't go lower than that. Its obvious that we are just waiting to reach to the top levle and I believe that in order to reach that top level, we only need some time. So people who do not "rush" right now, will be hte people who will be upset about it later on. I hope that we could be quick enough to buy it, I bought some but I am willing to pay some more and waiting for that to happen. Its not going to happen overnight, but the moment I get paid, I will end up using that to buy some more bitcoin and I hope it won't go up before that.
I don't really think Bitcoin will rise as quickly as you seem to think, since Bitcoin used to have a reputation of being a hedge against inflation for many people, but when inflation started to rise in many part of the world due to the Ukrainian war and western restrictions against Russia, Bitcoin failed to perform as expected and collapsed.
The thing is, it may not go up like he said, but it may as well, that's the thing. Nobody can guarantee us that price won't be 50k this month, I am not saying that it will be 50k this month because none of us know that but we do not know it won't either. So, why not just buy it if you think that it won't drop too much. That way you could decide on what's going to happen, and you will make a good amount of profit in the long run as well.

Buying right now means there is a very very small chance that you will lose your money, and a big big chance that you could make profit. This is why I believe that he is right, maybe his timing could be wrong, but the idea is right.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 06, 2022, 10:19:01 PM
Every single role player who played earlier really maximizes the help that they can bring, fewer minutes but good enough to

make an impact. Otto, Bjelica and GP2 players who came from the bench who gave enough minutes for the stars to rest.

Boston show a good start but again, 2nd half is being dominated by the Warriors and they didn't give any sign for the Celtics

to make a comeback and rally to win. They completely sealed this game and win with a very confident leads.
I have to say, when you have Poole, Wiggins, gp2 etc etc playing well, then there is no way that Warriors would lose. And do not even think that those players are good or anything, Warriors is a team that could play with their system and put almost any player and make them look good, because their system actually works.

Glad to see the series tied right now, I hope by game 4 we would have another 2-2 tie as well because that makes things interesting and odds go up. By the looks of it Warriors will not let it be easy for Celtics, maybe they got the first game but Celtics are looking a bit more troubled on defensive part for the both games.
1640  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: June 06, 2022, 08:35:20 PM
Shorting means selling at the current running price and then buying back at a lower price, here it is actually same as buy low sell high just the order is reversed. Shorting needs to be correctly timed otherwise if the market turns around in the middle of the two trades, you will end up in a loss and a bad position.
That shorting of "assume I have it right now without me having it, and I will pay for it later" is the root of all the problems in the crypto world. I mean that makes it profitable to drop the price of bitcoin and people think that it is somehow okay.

I find it the root of all our problems, there are so many rich people see the price going up too much and start to sell it and short it at the same time and make a ton of profit and that is not an easy thing to overcome when you are going against organized whales, hence we keep on being worse than we should be, all because they believe that they could make a huge profit by shorting, if there was no shorting available, we wouldn't drop like this, we would drop, but not like this.
