2521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do I have to do on: June 25, 2022, 11:22:56 AM
newbie often run into losses when investing in new projects.  ,i once bought new coins but i can't resell them. i think i have been cheated...

Investing in new coins is always associated with high risk. But the high profit that can be obtained from such an investment attracts newcomers who do not yet have the skills to conduct a comprehensive study and as a result lose their money. Accordingly, it would be the right decision to refrain from buying such coins and buy only those coins that have a listing on large CEX.
2522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crippling losses on: June 25, 2022, 10:44:04 AM
...If I buy something at 100 bucks, and sell at 200 bucks, why would I call it a loss if it was 50 bucks for a while in between? This is what's going on with them, it is not a loss, they are holding, and they will make a profit from it, hence why it's not a loss. If they end up selling it now, for a loss, that would be a loss and I would totally understand that and would make sense, but they are not selling at all.

If you buy something for $100 and then its price drops to $50, and then another 2 times, will you still consider your position profitable? It is possible that the price will recover in a few years, but you cannot be sure that this will actually happen. It is possible that the same thing will happen to your coin that happened to Luna and you will completely lose your money.
2523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 25, 2022, 08:43:50 AM
I think it's normal for every trader to use stop loss in every trade because you can't always be right and also the market can decide to play around and hit your stop or change direction totally. So it's a must to use stop loss. Anyone not using stop loss is merely gambling.

We can definitely say that a stop loss is mandatory only if you trade with leverage, since a sharp price change may lead to the liquidation of your position. As for spot trading, you will have the opportunity to close your position yourself after a correction, which usually happens after a dump.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance signs Cristiano Ronaldo for exclusive partnership to push NFTs on: June 24, 2022, 02:19:44 PM
...Over the course of the agreement, Binance and Cristiano Ronaldo will create a series of NFT collections for sale exclusively on the Binance NFT platform. The first NFT collection will be released later this year and feature designs created in collaboration with Ronaldo.
The Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collections will be available exclusively on Binance NFT at www.binance.com/en/nft/home...

Given the fact that the number of Cristiano Ronaldo Twitter followers is more than 100 million, these NFT will have to be in high demand. And Cristiano Ronaldo has already posted a corresponding tweet for his fans: https://twitter.com/Cristiano/status/1539972040291061765 Binance, for its part, will definitely increase the number of users who were not previously familiar with the crypto currency.
2525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DCA £5 PER DAY - WHICH CRYPTO? on: June 24, 2022, 01:34:36 PM
I am thinking of doing £5 per day on Bitcoin & £2 per day on another strong altcoin, leaning towards Algorand as I believe that it will be around for the long term. ..

You can facilitate the fulfillment of your task and make a purchase not every day, but once a week. In this case, you will have more chances to stick to the coin purchase schedule and will take less time. I do not know why you chose Algorand as the second coin to invest in, but I would prefer investing in ETH.

2526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hidden gem on: June 24, 2022, 10:15:14 AM
...It's not listed on coinmarketcap because of low volume and low liquidity...

It is low liquidity that can affect the value of the coin. So when buying for $ 100, the value of the coin can increase by 50-100% and, accordingly, if someone decides to sell for the same amount, the value of the coin will decrease sharply. So the buyer can buy the coin very expensive, and the seller can sell it very cheap.
2527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which stablecoin do you "trust" the most? on: June 24, 2022, 09:18:45 AM
...People say DAI is very safe, but they said the same about UST. I would stick to stablecoins backed by dollars, not equivalent amounts of cryptocurrency.

Despite the fact that DAI and UST are decentralized stablecoins, there is a big difference between them in providing a peg to the dollar. In addition, UST stablecoin is not only decentralized, it is also an algorithmic stablecoin and therefore differs from DAI stablecoin, which is secured by 150% in ETH.
2528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking Loans - Is it ideal? on: June 23, 2022, 04:08:49 PM
I have a friend who are keep on asking me if taking loans just to buy Bitcoin is ideal thing to do so?..

Getting a loan from a traditional bank can be compared to margin trading. In both cases, if the price of bitcoin, contrary to your expectations, continues to decline, you will lose your money. In addition, the price of bitcoin may be in a long accumulation and you will not be able to get a quick profit, but you will have to pay interest on the loan at this time.
2529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: June 23, 2022, 03:20:24 PM
In my opinion it depends on the situation . I mean FTX and Kucoin both are good centralised exchanger after Binance. I used both , for lowest gass fee in erc-20  I used FTX  and on the others side for lowest trading  limit.
Both are good .

At a time when the cost of gas in the Ethereum network reached hundreds of dollars, I used FTX more often, since this exchange provided one free withdrawal in the Ethereum network. But nevertheless, I use Kucoin for daily trading, in addition, the presence of additional services that are not available on FTX is also an additional bonus.
2530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TALK token good to invest ? possible X50 increase after listing in DEFI ? on: June 22, 2022, 05:21:04 PM
The cryptocurrency market is now struggling to survive among the good coins. Survival in this bear market is a big challenge for those whose foundations are weak or relatively backward...
up

Despite the bear market, the TALK token demonstrates extraordinary stability, it cost 0.00000001 BTC six months ago when OP opened this thread, and now it costs 0.00000001 BTC when OP "up" topic. Even when the market was growing, the value of the coin remained the same. Maybe TALK is a stablecoin?
2531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DCA £5 PER DAY - WHICH CRYPTO? on: June 22, 2022, 03:20:21 PM
...I want to do this for the next 2 years and was at first going to go with Bitcoin however the profits will be a lot larger If I go with a riskier Altcoin, just not sure which one to go with..

You are making the wrong choice between getting a small but more real profit and losing your money. Since not every altcoin, much less a "risky" one, will be able to survive a bear market. Maybe you shouldn't take unnecessary risks and choose a time-tested BTC for your investment?
2532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 22, 2022, 10:34:54 AM
We are still in bear and this is my opinion. So it's better to thread with caution and see how things unfold. Don't be in a hurry to buy so that you won't exhaust your funds even if you want to DCA before market finally reverses.

Of course, the best time to buy coins will be purchase, after confirming the market reversal. Of course, in this case, your average price will be higher than if you bought coins at the very bottom, but such a purchase will be safer for your budget. And it should be remembered that almost no one can buy coins at the lowest price, just like selling at high.
2533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Could Reach $5 By 2050 !!!??? on: June 22, 2022, 10:16:15 AM
I think it looks difficult and impossible to reach a price of $5...

In 30 years, a lot can change in the global economy and, accordingly, the purchasing power of the dollar itself can greatly decrease. Accordingly, with the cost of a loaf of bread at $100 and the cost of BTC estimated in millions, then I wouldn't be surprised if Shiba Inu would be worth $5.
2534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crippling losses on: June 22, 2022, 09:30:23 AM
I believe you don't understand something if the market changed to total bearish, the drop in value of Bitcoin bought at the ATH price still doesn't mean investors which choose to hold are making losses.
Yes, it may sound complicated but people only make losses if invested in Bitcoin and choose to sell at a lost price because the market will always make a new ATH price after halving why not hold till that time before selling.
Technically, if investors choose to hold till next the ATH market is not going to make a loss.

A loss remains a loss, no matter how you interpret it. It is in the "losses" column that this amount is indicated in the report of major holders of MicroStrategy and Tesla, which currently reach $ 1.5 billion and $ 500 million, respectively. Yes, indeed, this loss may eventually change to profit, but no one knows how long it will take. And in general, there is no guarantee that any coin can reach its ATH after correction, and there are a lot of confirmations for this.
2535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge coin in trouble? on: June 21, 2022, 11:19:02 AM
The plaintiff should prove where he found "defendant's claim" as far as I know if there is no evidence the case will not corner for defendant. And it's just a blank paper, if the defendant wants to retaliate with this defamation case, it could make him richer and become a boomerang. According to the article, investor's losses a big funds, I wonder.

Elon Musk has a lot of capital and, accordingly, his interests in court will be represented by the best lawyers. For this reason, and given the fact that Elon Musk's guilt will be difficult to prove, the plaintiff has no chance of winning the lawsuit. In addition, this trial may take several years.
2536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP LUNA & UST ! Is USDD be same like that.. on: June 21, 2022, 10:57:20 AM
how is USDD is a better project than LUNA when its just a doing the similar mechanisms, printing new tokens in a unsustainable amounts? ..

Both UST and USDD are decentralized algorithmic stablecoins, so they are equally vulnerable. The difference between USSD and UST is only that its capitalization is much smaller and, accordingly, the team of this stablecoin has more chances to restore the peg to the dollar by buying back excess coins from the market.
2537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 21, 2022, 10:01:10 AM
All is about our perspective and point of view. Pessimistic people will think this is the end of crypto, we should sell and leave crypto.
But the Opportunistic people will always take any opportunity even in this bear market. They buy and accumulates during this phase, and patiently wait for crypto hype again in few years later.

In this case, there are 3 options for behavior in a bear market:
you buy coins at a reduced price;
you are fixing a loss;
you continue to hold coins, waiting for the price to recover.
And only the first option is preferable in a bear market, but it is only for those who have sold their coins at a high price in a timely manner.
2538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stake most of my USDT, it is better to leave it as USDT or change it to USDC ? on: June 21, 2022, 09:50:19 AM
...My friend told me that USDT is the best staking crypto for mining pools and you get the best value so why change it up now. I only follow advice from people I respect and my friends has been doing real well so I continue to take his advice and it’s been working.

Such following the advice of friends at some point may lead to the loss of your deposit. Look at what is happening on the market now, large funds with huge financial resources and qualified specialists are incurring losses commensurate with billions of dollars. I think if you learn more about USDT, you won't be so categorical.
2539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk sued for 258 billion USD over alleged Dogecoin pyramid scheme. on: June 21, 2022, 09:27:09 AM
as far as I know elon himself never really pursue anyone into investing in dogecoin...

I can't refute or confirm your words, but I know for sure that a year ago Elon Musk bought Dogecoin for his one-year-old son, which he tweeted about: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1359519541219500033 After the publication of this message, the price of Doge immediately increased by 31% from 0.06 to 0.081 dollars.
2540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 20, 2022, 01:30:45 PM
...what we can do is waiting for market recovery, 2024-2025 I'm sure all holders can laugh

No one can know when the market will recover and become bullish again. Therefore, all these tentative dates have nothing to do with reality. But I am only sure that the reversal will happen at the very moment when no one will believe in it anymore and most market participants will open short positions, expecting a further decline in the market.
