However, I lost a part of my Starcoins.. And that's where Starcoin lost me I guess.

Looks like even the lastest version of the client isn't even synching. So for me it isn't "working fine without problems, since the last fix" Nzdude.
I hope that someone will fix it. The coin had a nice idea of Bonus STAR blocks behind it.
~Edit: gonna redownload the whole chain now. Let's see.

Bedankt voor je reactie. Het blijft inderdaad een gokje, maar als Crypsty zegt de aandelen evt terug te willen kopen later indien dat gewenst is, dan is er vrij weinig risico volgens mij toch? Of de waarde van je aandeel moet fors dalen, maar dat zie ik niet snel gebeuren. In de tussentijd strijk je wel dividend op. Zodra ik genoeg 0,x BTC heb, koop ik ook een (en hopelijk meer) Crypsty aandeel:). Indien Crypsty het echt voor elkaar krijgt om legaal en makkelijk coins te laten verkopen voor bv USD, dan gaan daar imo forse fees in totaal rond  . |

What do you mean with powertune? What command do you use for that? I haven't done anything with that I think.
My intensity is always max 18.
I haven't overclocked the GPU myself and it runs now on: GPU = 1000 MHZ and memoryclock (if that's the correct translation) = 1250 Mhz. I haven't done anything with the voltage by myself. Where can I find stats about this?
My GPU reaches the 81 degrees maximum often. It only hits the 82 or 83 when I'm heating the room my PC is located in. Hope this will keep my GPU from burning.

I'm still wondering which --temp-overheat you guys use, because i set mine on 82. Which is just a randomly chosen number I feel confortable with, but I haven't based it on any research or logic.

Gisteren zag ik dat Cryptsy 100.000 shares (aandelen) verkoopt (à 0,05 BTC) per stuk. In ruil daarvoor 0,0002% van alle fees die betaald worden (per aandeel).
Nu zag ik zojuist dat McxNow dit ook doet. Zij verkopen totaal 50.000 aandelen, momenteel voor 0,4 BTC per stuk. Elk aandeel in McxNow (genaamd een McxFee) geeft je het recht op 0.001% van alle fees die daar betaald worden. Dit wordt om de 6 uur uitgekeerd.
Cryptsy geeft aan ooit de optie te creëren dat Crypsty de aandelen weer van je over koopt.
Nu ben ik benieuwd naar jullie ongezouten mening hierover. Heeft iemand ervaring hiermee? Hebben jullie zelf wat 'shares'? Als ik genoeg BTC's had gehad, had ik best wat aandelen van een (of beide) partijen willen kopen. Ik hoop nu binnenkort genoeg BTC bij elkaar te krijgen om enkele Cryptsy shares te kopen (à 0,05 BTC per stuk), al zal ik deze BTC's waarschijnlijk op een andere manier moeten verdienen dan dmv het minen van Altcoins xD.

He / she or the group which created and scripted the Bitcoin really should stay anonymous. They should because of their safety I think (and I'm not threatening them by this post). Unfortunately there are too many people on this planet who will kidnap Satoshi or harm him/her/them or their family just to earn some bucks. I assume Satoshi is millionair.

You can use your wallet while syching. However you can't do much with it when you don't have a single Satoshi (very small part of a Bitcoin). I don't have a Satoshi for you either, so I can't send you any. But i'm not really useless for you: Have you ever heard of BTC "faucets"? Fill that in as a keyword in the search function of this forum. You can receive some Satoshi's with that . Goodluck! |

In my opinion the US wants to be the world leader in all kinds of markets and often think / act like they are. They want to be 'the best', for example concerning the economy, but also world politics and military.
There's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't mean they can claim rights other countries aren't allowed to have. Such as the telephone wiring they do all over the world. If for example Russia would do this (and i'm not saying they don't), the US would definitely try everything to stop them, I think.
They also suck on a few matters, for example the healthcare and the drugspolicy. But who am I to say that. I'm just a guy from the Netherlands, with allmost the highest costs of healthcare and a drugpolicy which is vague but reasonable in my opinion. I'm glad some US states are now accepting medical cannabis for example. I my opinion you should regulate the drugs and the use of it in your country. Not by punishing, but by education and controlling like it's happening here in the Netherlands and our "coffeeshops".

After seeing this topic ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=295903.0) I was wondering what --Temp-overheat command you guys use. I use the following commands for my single Gigabyte HD7950 WF (WindForce) 3 -thread-concurrency 21712 -I 18 -g 1 -w 256 --temp-target 76 --gpu-fan 25-80,65 --auto-fan --temp-overheat 82 I am wondering if this max temperature would damage my GPU. Thanks in advance. |

I own the same one. What max temperature do you guys add in CGMiner? I mean the --temp-overheat command, which makes the fans go to 100% when they hit the chosen temperature.
As I have only 1 GPU, I really don't want to fire up.

Indeed. They posted quite a few weeks ago about this issue in their topic. Downloading the newest version (and the whole right blockchain) worked for me. Edit: check this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=300795.msg3225687.The latest Feathercoin version 0.6.4.4 is now available and is a mandatory update. This update includes a hard fork of the block chain to accommodate the changes made in this patch. This hard fork should happen roughly around the 1st October which is only a week away. To be able to send and receive Feathercoin after block 87948 you have to use the new client. Continuing to use old clients after the hard fork could result in the loss of coins.
Primarily this update is to further the refine of the difficulty adjust. Though the current Feathercoin difficulty which we changed to get us out of a tough spot it is not fair for long term miners who have to experience 41.4% swings on every adjust. The new code will adjust four times more frequently at 126 blocks but to approximately 9% which still gives the exact same overall adjust. To prevent the difficulty from being sent up or down too rapidly the current 504 sample window is being maintained and damping is being introduced to reduce fluctuations between extremes.

You should avoid Mt. Gox now in my opinion, as it takes quite a long time to receive a single payout. You can find more about Mt. Gox and its problems here on this forum.
There are also many alternatives. I haven't compared them by myself, but I'm sure you can find more information on this forum about this by using the search option, in the right upper corner of your screen.
