If the demand increases or the supply decreases, the price will increase.

The trade off between those two is the actual price,

Hm, I think that has to do something with the fact that there aren't really real profitable altcoins to mine at this moment.

Some multipools give you less earnings than mining LTC directly, and that's why many people start mining LTC directly now. There are even some pools that give you double LTC for your shares currently.

Thanks for the explanation. Now I understand that. But, I don't want my coins to be reserved for stake, as I can't wait for 520 confirmations because I have to use them next monday.

According to Snard, using that code I will be able to send them on monday right? Do I need to open my wallet like that before I withdraw my coins from Cryptsy? Or do I always need to open my wallet like that?

If you are worried about your coins staking istart your client with the reservebalance command line argument, which will make the specified amount of coins ineligible for stake by the client. If you put an amount in that is larger than your total coins, it will essentially turn off POS mining and therefore staking with your coins.

An example batch file to launch a client with the argument in Windows can be seen below. Make sure you change the relevant paths to match your own.

Hm, as I don't have any technical knowledge about wallets etc, I don't really get this. 

I've got a new wallet now, the newest version with 0 coins. What happens when I withdraw my coins from Cryptsy? What means when they got 'stacked'?  Will they got stacked when I withdraw them now?
