1581  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: dID cRYPTSY DIE? on: March 27, 2014, 01:26:29 PM
A BTC deposit takes less than half an hour. A recent withdraw of CACHE took only a few minutes.

Thats not too bad. I dont see any readings why we should consider Cryptsy dieing.
1582  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 27, 2014, 01:23:07 PM
Indeed, it was 0,0005 for full members, it saw that for about 12 hours ago.

Lets hope it will increase again next month, especially because the value of BTC is also decreasing yet.
1583  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Gridseed Dual-Mode ASICs Groupbuy from Hash Master Technology. on: March 27, 2014, 12:53:32 AM
If I decide to buy some of you, it will be in the 1-9 range.

Please also add the estimated shipping costs. Thanks in advance. This will also be usefull for other people in The Netherlands / Europe.

Could anyone give me some information about http://blackcoinminer.com/?

I thought it was the officially pool, but it isn't right? I've mined there before but haven't received a single penny I think. Should re-open my wallet again tomorrow, but I haven't had any coin after 24 hours or so.

I would like to find a way to mine BC somehow Smiley

That pool just came back up for use today, so not so sure how it pays out. This one here is the official pool http://www.blackcoinpool.com/

Hm, I used http://blackcoinminer.com/ days ago.  So, the official pool is working again? As I see 713 Mh/s currently.

If so, I will join again soon!

It is in open beta right now so there may be down times and you may not make the most money with it.

Allright, thanks for you reply.

I will start mining again in a few hours probably. I just have a few BlackCoins now, which is way too less in my opinion. This coin does have potential!
1585  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Gridseed Dual-Mode ASICs Groupbuy from Hash Master Technology. on: March 27, 2014, 12:29:01 AM
From where do you ship these devices?

How long does it take to reach the Netherlands / other parts of Europe? And do you know anything about shipping costs regarding shipping to the Netherlands?

Your prices are quite low regarding to the prices i've seen earlier Smiley
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your opinion on a fully 100% premined coin? on: March 27, 2014, 12:26:46 AM
I don't like 100% premined ~ centralized coins, because I think coins as BTC etc are worth something because of the fact they are decentralized.

Because no one, no government or agency or party can directly affect your wallet, it has some advantages.
1587  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: dID cRYPTSY DIE? on: March 27, 2014, 12:25:16 AM
I think it's hard  to read your post. Anyway, your deposit hasn't showed up yet?

Depending on the coin, this may take a long time indeed. Some coins are faster than others.

Don't call them "dead". They are stable now since months, and I still like it Smiley.
1588  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CRYPTO-ASICS.COM ?? on: March 27, 2014, 12:22:35 AM
I haven't heard of it yet. Why don't you do research BEFORE you buy something?

By paying with an e-currency like BTC, there's no way to get a refund.. I really hope they are legit.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 200,000BTC found by MtGox - coincidence? on: March 27, 2014, 12:20:26 AM
They keep "finding" coins.  I'm not sure what we've to think about them.

All I know is that I stay far, far, far away from MtGox. I do this since I joined the Bitcoin Community, and I'm glad doing that has saved me a lot of money.

1592  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 27, 2014, 12:05:46 AM
Please be wary of new campaigns. We are now dealing with fairly high level of BTC, and when newcomers to the community offer higher rates, it is not certain you will be paid out.

With PrimeDice you will always be guaranteed payment. With that being said all other services are obviously legit until proven otherwise. Whilst I like to keep up with competition, when newcomers offer increasingly higher rates with low levels of trust, I do not see this as viable.

Happy posting Smiley

Amen! I'll stay loyal, even if your rewards are slightly lower than others. You've proven to be trustworthy, and paid me for 5 or 6 times already. Thanks!

I hope this service will last for a long long time Smiley.

1593  Other / Meta / Re: Authentication/2FA desperately needed 1BTC Bounty on: March 27, 2014, 12:03:27 AM
Here's a friendly bump again, as it's really a nice idea.

"Authy" might be usefull here. Cryptsy uses it too. By Authy, you get a code on your smartphone which gives you the right to log in. This coin is only valid for 20 seconds.

So, if someone wants to hack your account, they need your password as well as your phone physically.
1594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FeatherCoin 0.8.5 - Scrypt based cryptocoin on: March 26, 2014, 11:59:41 PM
I see you're quite new. FTC is here since quite a long time for a e-currency. And, it has a stable community behind it.

As it's here for a long time and stays quite stable (in comparison with other coins), FTC is definately worth mining.
1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DigitalCoin.Co | Secure. Established. Active Development | V2.0 Core Announced on: March 26, 2014, 11:58:07 PM
What is 'better'?

That depends.. If it increases the speed in which we can mine DGC now, people with a lot of DGC don't think it's "better" to implement this.

I do own some DGC, but not that much. Allthough I don't want to see their value decrease even more.

On the other side, as a small miner, I can collect some "free" DGC quite fast again then.

It's not about allowing people to mine more DGC in less time, quite the opposite. It will prevent multipools from hopping on and grabbing all the coins quickly until the difficulty raises and then leaving until it drops down again.

If that's the fact, it would be nice indeed. To be succesfull again preventing multipools is a good idea I think.

I think we've to wait for more information untill we can tell anything about this. 1 Fact; Baritus has Always been (very) good for this coin, so I don't think we have to worry.
1596  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: bitcointalk.org on: March 26, 2014, 11:50:14 PM

1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EFL] Electronic Gulden - DUTCH CRYPTO - KGW IMPLEMENTED / UPDATE NOW!! on: March 26, 2014, 11:48:27 PM
KGW Implemented

please update your wallet to version 1.1.0.0

We've released another update today (26 march 2014). Kimoto Gravity Well has been implemented and will start at block 45000. Make sure you update your wallet as soon as possible. You can download the new wallets (version 1.1.0.0) on the download section of our website.

This has decreased the difficulty right? I thought I saw it was 4 earlier. Let's collect some Electronic Guldens Cheesy

Does anyone can calculate when we reach the 210.000th block? As the rewards halves then.

Hm, i'm not sure why hackers / scammers see value in your account as they can't change the password (because they don't own your mailbox). However, by spamming, they can let your  account be banned.

So, it's not really a bad idea.

Cryptsy uses (also) Authy. With Authy your cellphone shows you a particular code (which is useable for 20 seconds), by which you can log in. It works well, and it's free.
1600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the USD collapses what will happen to Bitcoin? on: March 26, 2014, 11:41:03 PM
In a scenario where dollar collapses to zero you would benefit more from owning a gun, ammo & food than bitcoins.

That's for sure. Are you a prepper? ^^

I think that's true if all fiat crashes. If it's 'just' the USD, then the people might use other fiat. If all fiat crashes, we're doomed. Move to the nearest farm and be sure you've got enough guns & ammo. And some protecting gear. Maybe landmines will be usefull then.

I hope we won't experience such situation ever.
