When it comes to diversiying your crypto portfolio there are some things I like to have in the mind. First of all I like to have crypto that is mainstream and not a 'pump and dump'.
We all have crypto portfolios with coins that serves no purpose other then they were free or marketed well but we still hodl them with hopes they make extreme gains and fast money will reward us. For me its the big 3 of bitcoin, ethereum and bnb for new investors.
After all these years, witnessing many cycles, I think it's always best to let BTC be a very big part of your portfolio. Nowadays, I personally stick to atleast 90% Bitcoin. The other 10% can be used for solid altcoins, such as Ethereum as you mentioned. The very last 1-2% (of the 10%) can be used for some non-mainstream / new / quite unknown altcoins or coins that have not proven themselves yet. I only buy them with what I call "play money". It's a better investment then spending it in a casino. |

Je moet natuurlijk wel vindbaar zijn voor die mensen, ik weet dat er meer Nederlandse coins zijn maar daar hoor je niets of bijna niets van, en in mijn ogen denk ik niet dat die coins toekomst hebben. Bij Gulden word er wel gemerkt dat er nieuwe gebruikers zijn, maar bij e-gulden? geen idee Zonde he, voor die nieuwe gebruikers van Gulden, dat ze in de marketing truukjes tuinen? * Ik weet niet op welke marketing trucjes jij momenteel precies doelt. Desalniettemin, marketing is altijd goed voor een coin om 'het grote publiek' te bereiken. Nu BTC recent zijn ATH bereikt heeft, zit er wellicht meer in het verschiet op korte termijn. Wanneer dat gebeurd, sluit ik niet uit dat de FOMO gaat werken, ook in Nederland. Wellicht leidt dat extra publiek naar coins zoals E-Gulden. |

It's not dead. However, it isn't as active as it was in the early days indeed. Probably the growth of other altcoins have made many users switch to other altcoins. I still HODL some of my old FTC for sure. (If FOMO will happen in the cryptocurrency world, I think some of the "old altcoins" might become much more popular again). This is just my opinion though, not any advice. |

I also have an old TagCoin wallet. Probably from the years untill 2017. I guess those are "Tagcoin Original" coins then, right?
What are my possibilities with these coins, Tagbond? The uniswap URL you provided doesn't work. I'm also not sure whether this related the original one, or a newer version of Tagcoin.

I'm glad to see GUN is one of the coins that haven't died in the last 7 years. Is there any mean to edit the first / orginal post in this thread? I see it has been posted by another user. I tried a couple of URLs; all of them are dead. That doesn't help bringing this coin to a next level. If that's not possible, you might consider create a new thread about this coin.
Good to see that is now listed (again) on an exchange though! That's a good step in order to bring the coin to next level.

You wanna invest $60 and have a chance at real profits that’s where you put your money, at a artificially Wall Street pumped $60k coin. Even if it hits $150,000 - a portion of those profits will look for cheap coins. And here are - the legit coins with legit devs. This is where the real money is made, coins like these. Let the fools chase bitcoin to $150k for a triple. I can do just on a shitcoin in a week. And I put my money where my kk keg is. I bought ~1% of this coins and the older coins and they’re still pennies. What a turn around for the coin. I am completely in awe of the way Dogecoin has forced itself in to the top 10 crypto by market cap. Right now it is trading at $0.246  Honestly I did not saw that one coming as soon as now. As it's in the top 10 cypto now by market cap, I believe the growth will even flourish. $1 incoming! |

Ik weet niet of je zo'n rekensommetje kunt maken. Ik vind van niet. Voorheen, toen de BTC nog zo goed als niets waard was, werd er natuurlijk veel slordiger mee omgegaan waardoor BTC veel sneller verdwenen en in veel grotere getalen. Nu de BTC waarde heeft, gaat menig bezitter er toch zuinig mee om. Denk aan hardware wallets etc. Natuurlijk blijven er altijd BTC verdwijnen. Door menselijke fouten of door technische problemen etc. Maar het percentage BTC dat verdwijnt, lijkt mij steeds kleiner te worden . Neemt niet weg dat veel BTC die ooit verdwenen zijn, nooit meer terug komen inderdaad. |

Ik moest even twee keer kijken toen ik zag dat dit een oud topic van mij was. Ik draai al lang mee, zeg!
Geinig om te zien dat dergelijke oude topics weer gebumpt en actief worden. Inmiddels kennen we natuurlijk een aantal "Nederlandse coins", al ben ik mij ervan bewust dat ook mensen buiten ons koude kikkerlandje (muv deze weken :')) deze coins bezitten.
Volgens mij ben ik nooit into Worldcoin gegaan, overigens.

Hard disc formats, wisseling van desktops, gecrashde hard discs, etc. Nu de BTC een waarde als dit kent, gaat eenieder zich hier bewuster mee om denk ik. Of ze zouden dat zeker moeten doen! |

Zodra ze "verdwijnen" of "kwijt zijn" dan maakt dat de Bitcoin in the end alleen maar schaarser. Ik denk dat er jaarlijks best wel wat bitcoins verdwijnen, bijvoorbeeld door PC's / wallets die crashen en private keys die anderzijds vergeten worden of kwijt raken. Of dat erg is, is een tweede. Natuurlijk voor de desbetreffende eigenaar enorm! Mede om deze reden heb ik mijn private keys gecodeerd op meerdere locaties liggen. Het zou maar gebeuren dat bijvoorbeeld je woning getroffen wordt door brand en je PC of hardware wallets inclusief private keys in rook opgaan |

Geen idee, maar als je een degelijke mooiere reis wilt.... zoals buiten EU wanneer je toch in de koudere maanden zou gaan... Zou ik (zoals mij vriendin altijd doet want zij boekt gewoon alles)toch ver van tevoren beginnen vast leggen en boeken, dit komt meestal echt beter en goedkoper uit, grote verschillen en juist zeker in de vliegtickets.
Natuurlijk september zal Cyprus of zuid spanje enz ook nog wel heerlijk zijn en mits goed vergelijken kun je altijd wel mooie prijzen vinden....
Mijn vakantiedagen zijn nogal wispelturig wat dat betreft. Ik kan er helaas niet zomaar vanuit gaan dat de vakantieweken die mij worden toegezegd, ook daadwerkelijk blijven staan voor het komende seizoen. Dat maakt het lastig plannen soms. Wel zijn ze soms telefonisch te bereiken/boeken, bijvoorbeeld de last minute balie van SunWeb op Schiphol. Ik heb er geen ervaring mee, dus kan je niet vertellen hoeveel voordeel je krijgt door deze manier van boeken. Juist, dergelijke boekingen bedoelde ik destijds inderdaad! Thanks! Nu begint het weer te kriebelen. Mocht iemand tips hebben hieromtrent, graag PM! There is only one bitcoin. If you want to invest in cryptocurrencies you would be smart to look at the utility and applications of the coin you are involved with.
If people can find better alternate coin where they think that investing in that crypto will yield them better profits than they can invest in that as well because if research done proper and future holds good then one can stay invested in such coins . Well, that's correct, I believe major investors are not only investing in bitcoin but they also invest in altcoins. The reason is because they also believe that altcoins has a big future, the crypto market will be getting bigger and bigger as more altcoins will be created and even if bitcoin will remain the king or the most dominant coin in the market, altcoins still has plenty of room to grow. I think mayor investors invest only in altcoins they really believe in with regard to the future - altcoins which are different from BTC, altcoins that have other features or possibilities. Altcoins that are innovative. Altcoins that are that different from Bitcoin might have a future as long as they're innovative. Altcoins which are similair as BTC might have future if they have a solid history and community - which is the reason I think many new BTC-"copies" are doomed to fail. Overall, for me it's clear that I should stay true to Bitcoin for a huge part of my total worth. A small percentage of my wallets will be in altcoins, most of it is in BTC and will always be. |
