I just burned a lof of ESP1 by sending them to a ESP2 address!!!!
Tried importing the privkey from the ESP2 wallet to the ESP1 wallet but it says "invalid key".
The two addresses should REALLY have been incompatible! Or if they are, so should the private keys!!!

But, unlike PoR, you loose nothing.

PoS... and there are no pools yet :-)

Have you merged your work into 1.8.1? I see colors.
No, just improved the current logging functions, besides other non-cuda works.

Still no windows build.
I think Pallas is doing this on purpose because he hates windows and windows users and has anti-windows code installed in the source designed to destroy windows builds. ~_~
funniest post so far thanks for confirming that the community doesn't deserve my work for free.

yep, i understund what you meant after searching for a while for the right grammar (past/present/conditional)
:p
That give : "If it was open source, the fees could be removed"
I think the original poster asked about tpruvot's version, not sp_'s, so IT IS opensource and the right sentence is: "If it is opensource (and it is), one can simply remove the fee from the code."

better losing those 2-3MH and running it at 125w then
of course. probably 100 is even better, but it's not supported by the huge amp extreme.

does ccminer opensource 1.8.1 has donate mining fee?
no

I've worked on it a lot more. Plenty hours of coding. Rewritten some parts from scratch (a lot of assembly code) and improved others. The whole structure was overhauled. Now the 1070 is faster than the 980Ti and can do well over 30 Mh/s.
30MH seriously? can you post screen? i'm ready to donate for a windows build card 4 is at 210W, the others at 125W:

tried with 15.7,15.12 and 14.12 opencl.dll files. no real difference, tried it with the different groestlcoin.cl, groestlcoin-v1.cl, and groestlcoin-v2.cl types as well. v2 still being the fastest. no real improvement using the different opencl.dll with the varying groestlcoin.cl (maybe <1% difference if anything).
also try renaming the latest hawaii bin to use on your card. it may work. so rename, diamondHawaiiw128l8.bin to groestlcoinEllesmeregw256l4.bin? I tried that and no real change either. (P.S. I appreciate your assistance with this pallas, thanks for your time) You're welcome. Then a specific tuning for polaris is needed, unfortunately I do not have such a card and don't plan to buy it in the near future.

Well since I'm not so dep into it its not easy. So yes i install the nvidia patch for newer GCC but it didn't help.
So if you have adapted already your buildcould you please provide a diff or tarball?
It's all in git. I just added the --compiler-bindir /usr/bin/gcc-4.9 flag into Makefile.am. You can remove or change it.
|
|
|
Well yeah okay it reported GCC above version 5.2 not support somewhere but at least 5.2 :-D I will give it a 2nd try later :-D
I used 4.9 because it's compatible with cuda 6.5, 7.5 and 8.

So am I forced to use a 4year old gcc version..wow..hardcoded ..mehhh
Cuda needs old gcc versions, not my fault.

Try to build it in ubuntu but i get error over error. If i fix one stone the next popping up..
e512.o -c heavy/cuda_blake512.cu /usr/bin/gcc-4.9: No such file or directory Makefile:1772: die Regel für Ziel „heavy/cuda_blake512.o“ scheiterte make[2]: *** [heavy/cuda_blake512.o] Fe
hm why hardcoded gcc-4.9? is there a away to tell him to use the current one?
You can change it in Makefile.am then run autogen.sh and configure

any updates or settings for the rx 480? for just groestl.
Did you try running it? Does it work and what speed? 20mh/s with the groestl-v2.cl i found in one of the other miner downloads, i think from nicehash. with original file about 19 mh/s could you try with another driver version, something from 2015? you don't need to replace the main driver of your system, just copy the opencl.dll file into the sgminer folder and remove the bin files.

@ Pallas : Its fair enough , if you set a price of your work and dedication. Noone wants to work for nothing ... Would you share some final results , also ?
980ti doing 20 Mh/s with 180W, should reach 25 Mh/s with overclocking. 1070 doing 18.5 Mh/s with 125W. There might be some more juice to squeeze.
