Gox is just correcting back in line with the other exchanges, since there's no reason to be a gap anymore with both fiat and btc withdrawals not working. Stamp/Huobi/BTC-e are getting scared down a little during this process, but after Gox falls back in line with the others they will all probably rebound back to 800+ together. So why all this drama? Where do you see drama? Give it a couple of hours... |

I would like to see the 9M unclaimed NXT joining the 2M NXT that I am already safeguarding in the NXTcommunityfund account. I am already a trustworthy steward of a large amount of NXT, and I would be a trustworthy steward of an even larger amount of NXT.
I am a top 50 NXT stakeholder. I bought in big with my own cash in mid-December because I believe in NXT. I want this currency to succeed. And I want to see these 9M NXT funds used to make that happen. I know I don't have all the answers on how to wisely spend 9M NXT. I do know I'll dig for facts and listen to anybody with a good idea and try my best to be fair in making good decisions as part of a team. I think those factors qualify me to be a part, and only a part, of deciding the future of NXT.
Plus, I am in no hurry to spend it. NXT is in for the long haul. There will be future emergencies and choices. We need a war chest to deal with bad times and flexibility to seize future opportunities. Once this 9M NXT is gone...it's gone. Think long term.

Where else specifically would you put it? Because it's got to go somewhere specific between now and April 3...or it disappears forever.
As I said before, 9M should go and be kept in a multisig account the control of which is in the hand of several active-trusted people among which there should be at least one or two big stake holders. I propose 4 to 6 people to hold on that waelth, and no way to put it in the hand of one single person, no matter how trusted or active he has been. But yes as I said before too, the 9M should be kept to be spent prudently in a much longer period of development than 3 or 6 months. +1000 to bybitcoins comment. +1001 |

Hello XCP peoples!
I am James, active member of the NXT community and I really like what you are doing. Burned some BTC so I am also one of the XCP peoples.
I believe there is room in the growing crypto world for many different solutions to succeed. Of course, XCP must dominate mastercoin!
I just wanted to reach out and maybe there are ways we can help each other. NXT is already on many exchanges and has close to 20,000 accounts. Maybe it makes sense for XCP to be listed in NXT Asset Exchange? This would create a market for XCP and avoid all the fiat hassles as there is also a path from NXT -> ripple -> fiat.
I am busy managing the NXTcommunityfund, which just received over 2 million NXT so I personally don't have the time, but I am sure I can find somebody over in NXT community who would love to help or become an XCP gateway into the NXT Asset Exchange.
Still getting up to speed with XCP, so not sure if it is possible to get NXT listed within counterparty. If it is possible, I am interested in seeing how that can be done, etc.

James, Thank you for your interest in Counterparty! Getting NXT listed within Counterparty would be a bit tricky. Even if someone created asset REALNXT in Counterparty and sold them, he would have to 'back' REALNXT with NXT, and make a sort-of IOU out of it, such that REALNXT can be redeemed for NXT. The mechanism by which the latter happens will have to be determined by the issuer of REALNXT, of course, though I do have some ideas as to how this could be done. It would be great if XCP could be sold on NXT Asset Exchange, though I do not know whether this is possible. If you are interested in further discussing things further, please PM me or have someone from the NXT community PM me. Let's do this! It will be a huge boost for both projects, they share many things in common. |

I've just gotten a friendly webdeveloper interested in creating Nxt payment modules for Wordpress, prestashop and magento (possibly other open source e-commerce systems, too).
He's currently swamped with work, but is going to read up this week and I expect a reaction during next week.
Didnt you contact wesleyh? I thought he had all that. Pin Didn't contact him yet, but will do that too today. The thing is that this guy can deliver complete modules. i don't know if wesley already has those, or just the "how-to" instructions. I will ask however. In any case, my guy at least can implement it. I would hardly take wes's time from him for that. He is no doubt working on his cross-platform client  Wesley is about halfway done with the modules to allow websites to accept NXT. They should definitely work together. There is a 25000 NXT bounty from neer.g to get NXT integrated with websites. I will need this soon! Another 15000 from me!! |
