What is more effective for stabilizing the weak COV network - one node with 100 COV, or two nodes with 50 COV - or is it essentially the same?

It is actually quite common. You are just upset and it must be clouding your perception. I'm not going to make a list of awful coins but look through the list of coins that are traded on cryptsy and then tell me if you honestly feel the same. I mean ffs they still trade ripoffcoin, and that isn't a a bad thing, but it should help you realize that this is not a new phenomenon. anyway, sorry for your loss, I am not trying to defend cryptsy, I was just trying to point out that being listed there is in no way an endorsement and therefore blaming them is from my point of view makes no sense.
Oh, no.. this is not the case. You are right that I am upset, but it is not because my investment (which is about 0.2 BTC - realized that it will be better to buy than mine), it is because of the many scams and other people as well. I have been f* up several times and don't mind to take it again, but there are people, which can't recover or don't have the abilities to make a ROI from other coins. Like I said - this is not the case with 007. This is different. Glad that you mentioned RipOff though. I was 101% sure that they will fail, but you know what? Thouse guys were actually good and honest (at least a friend of mine told me so and I trust him). With that said - this is not a good example. How about Galaxycoin?  At least RipOff has still working block explorer and such. GLX is only on Cryptsy (and I think CoinWarz). I'm sure that I can find at least 5 more coins which are like GLX, but they are still "traded" on Cryptsy. |

It makes no sense to blame Cryptsy for this coins price or failure to deliver features. The exchanges are just there as a tool for trading coins safely. If you thought being listed on an exchange was an endorsement from the exchange then you made that up in your head.
This is not the case and you know it. While it is normal developers of coins with ICO's on C-Cex to disappear shortly after they finish, it is not normal such coins to be listed so fast on Cryptsy. I know that they recently changed their policy about listing coins, but this is not only because of money. If 007 had some big fat volume - I can understand that, but this was not the case either. |

Countdown is over, but no casino. If this doesn't launch, I will write big black dot to Cryptsy in my book. C-Cex are well known with their ICO's, but I thought that listing it on Cryptsy should at least mean something.

sadly a lot of ppl in crypto will wait about a week before calling out as a scam and dumping. only time will tell tho, dev activity is a bit odd i must say, get a community member to do regular/better updates
on the plus side network seems to be working a bit better today.
I don't believe that developer will return. Missing even a day, when your coin has problems is a long time in cryptoworld. If we assume that he is silent for a reason (buy cheap coins while people are selling at loss), then we are talking about pure greed. He had (and still have) the chance to buy 10-20% of the entire supply for peanuts. |

Frankly speaking, I was expecting Ripple to break $1B market cap when it was at it's peak, but I'm now quite sure that it will do it. Ripple is not like a coin with billions in supply so don't make the mistake to compare it with DOGE or such.  We are talking about something different here. I believe that people involved in it know what they are doing (despite that I don't even bothered to research it... I was only following the market). |

Huh... just noticed that this is mentioned Jones. Well, I've never heard of him, but he said 2 BS1. 2.2 Quadrillion worldwide debt. Then he said "Do the math! That's 100 trillion.. excuse me... 1000 trillion that they said we owe.". 2.2 Quadrillion is nowhere near to the worldwide debt, because money in circulation around the world are about 75-80 trillion. Also, 2.2 Quadrillion is 2.2k thousand trillion Mr. Jones, not 1k. 2. "Our real debt is 90 trillion." Given the number of money in circulation... that is a big bs again. External (official) US debt is about 19-20 trillion. We have similar guy here in Bulgaria. I believe that 95% of them are paid... the rest are just crazy. |
