LINUX manual -COMPILE the walletd in the CLOUD

now also with details for Coven coin: (posting #43)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=460178.msg11238743#msg11238743

* your wallet in the cloud, 24/7 on

* just buy yourself a VPS droplet - for only 5$/month
** digital ocean http://tiny.cc/digocean NL USA Singapur UK DE
** you should get a 10$ welcome bonus if you go through my link
* I have put a 12 step detailed manual there how to quickstart. Debian 7!

* you can also run other tools like block explorer, CPU-miner, etc.
* for an easy start into the linux world; safer - less NSA backdoors?

* for future coinstarts: already have a wallet when windows user don't have a wallet yet
* a 2nd machine to test insecure wallets which you do not 100% trust.

* a walletd uses ~ 1% cpu power, you can have many on one VPS

Any hint to improve my manual is highly appreciated.

sadly a lot of ppl in crypto will wait about a week before calling out as a scam and dumping. only time will tell tho, dev activity is a bit odd i must say, get a community member to do regular/better updates

on the plus side network seems to be working a bit better today.

I don't believe that developer will return. Missing even a day, when your coin has problems is a long time in cryptoworld. If we assume that he is silent for a reason (buy cheap coins while people are selling at loss), then we are talking about pure greed. He had (and still have) the chance to buy 10-20% of the entire supply for peanuts.

And I think that same guys are behing several of the recently launched coins, but they continue their "work" only with the one/s who gain more traction.

EDIT: With that said.. most of the coins looks like the Godzilla in the clip bellow, but the end is.. well... hear it...

yes the timing with the other sha coins that day was odd, maybe this is an elaborate ploy to drag some miners away from sling (or all the same person and see which one works[look at slings volume] like maybe your suggesting), altho after watching the hashrates on both, pretty much everyone left cov.

Judging by the dev's answers so far he would of paid for the wallet, hopefully its atleast his photoshop work lol. As he didn't insult our intelligence by launching with ico I can't see him having much profit yet. Patience will see the value hold, and if he can get a website up soon (surely) and get coders working on the roadmap we will win. As always, have to balance your risk and reward. I would not say to anyone this is a wise investment, but wise investments usually dont pay 1000% crazy ones do, go COV lol

Dev has something like 600 coins. He has not dumped them, in my opinion.

I'd rather the dev was greedy than have bailed because he lacked the ability to dev a coin.

Coven definitely got the fewest hashes that night.

... MORE INFO THERE ...

I offer to leave this wallet running, so there is a staking node. To improve the network.
If you want to increase the Stake Weight of this node, send some COV coins there. Every bit helps.

Just send 20. Take care.

Thanks - and another 29. Very nice, that is encouraging, and shows me that my initiative is appreciated.

Now what is next ... Who is a staking expert? What is more effective for stabilizing the weak COV network - one node with 100 COV, or two nodes with 50 COV - or is it essentially the same?   Because if I actually receive some more donations on that address, I could afford to rent another VPS droplet, and send half of the funds there. Then there would be 2 nodes which are staking 24/7. But only if that really helps.

Current situation on node 1:

Code:
 Covend getinfo
