2521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador to revoke Bitcoin as legal tender? on: June 18, 2021, 09:44:06 PM
Bitcoin is a treat to nation's economy. If IMF had the opportunity to ban cryto completely the would have done that a long time a go. El Salvador Has already created a history as they are the first country to accept Bitcoin as legal tender with President Nayib Bukele touting the cryptocurrency’s full ability as a remittance alternative of legal tender for Salvadorans. Stating clearly through its finance minister Alejandro Zelaya that it's not abondoning US dollar but adopting crypto as well. Will this cause a boast in Bitcoin price this I patiently wait for
2522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 18, 2021, 06:20:52 AM
I tried trading Bitcoin a couple of years ago but quit after I lost $300. What advice do you have for me if I decide to start trading again? Thank you!
Spend time practicing demo account. Make sure you blow down the account to a $100 then try growing it from there. You can't make it if you don't study to discover your personal strategy you keep making losses. So give your self to learning and practice more often that you study.

2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't blame Elon musk and China for the dip!!!!!!! on: June 17, 2021, 10:11:46 AM
This is a very accurate analysis. Every market has three major stages
  • bullish trend
  • bearish trend
  • range market
As investors we should learn to profit from each of this trends constantly buying low and selling high. We have had a bullish run for a long time and a whole lot of us got so comfortable with it neglecting that the market has other moves which if we aren't prepared for would take us off balance.

2526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being unpredictable on: June 17, 2021, 09:45:32 AM
First deal with your emotions and the fear that comes with it. Many times gamblers tend to gamble with fear and end up selecting wrong games. If a gambler can tackle their emotions and greed the would have random wins and keep their winnings constant. But been unpredictable I feel it can't be 100% possible so you work on your psychology so you can as well predict the minds of your opponent.
2527  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 17, 2021, 09:32:35 AM
Money irrespective of the amount available has only but a quarter to contribute to ones happiness. The universe is faced with lots of challenges and some of which money can't really afford. Would you call a blind man who has excess money a Happy man, or would you call a barren couple who can't conceive happy. Money has it's own limitations and can't be a base for general happiness.
2528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 09:26:22 AM
It's actually normal when a new technology emerge to see our world elders who has been schooled on a old fashioned pattern of livelyhood try to fight against technology. When technology began to emerge so many advanced people felt it was a sign that the world was going to end soon and had to avoid having anything to do with it. I am actually not surprised at all soon newer billionaires would Emer from the cryto Industry and this would help correct some wrong misconception about blockchain technology.
2529  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binomo and cryptocurrency on: June 16, 2021, 05:09:37 PM
Binomo which deals on Binary option is more of gambling  that trading and has lots of fraudulent  acts associated  with them . I would love to get your source of information  so we all can see into what you just discovered.  But from my own point crypto currency  companies  and binomo  can't partner since the don't share the same analysis except crypto currency intend adding binary option to their trading  portfolio which would be more of gambling  option and a different  set of terms and conditions  listed out to prospective  investors.
2530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netflix's Money, Explained: E04 Gambling on: June 16, 2021, 05:02:07 PM

I am aware that the argument about day trading as gambling or not has been discussed often before and it could be tiring to prove a particular point due to its subjective nature. One could say that day trading is a combination of little to non T. A and pure luck, others would say that day trading could never equate to gambling since the ability to read charts and proper risk management would decrease the percentage of getting rekt.

It will just result in a never-ending comparison.
I am trying hard to wrap my head around the misconception about day traders equating  them  to gamblers. But in a nutshell I would just love to chip in few in as much as 9 and 6 irrespective  of where you  stand to look at them  from are different so is day trading and gambling.  With well detailed analysis  one can get full guaranteed profit. One might say day traders incur  losses as well but not compared  to gamblers when the day trader is well grounded in the field. The tin line that exist between them is enough to maintain  a big difference  between both since both require different approach an technique.
2531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is gambling taxed? on: June 16, 2021, 09:42:13 AM
Not all countries tax gamblers and a whole lot don't have a central regulatory body that accesses what goes on within the gambling sector. For developed countries with mordernised technology gambling is been taxed based on gains and on the basis of been a professional gambler or having gambling as a hubby. I think no government would tax it's citizens based on losses I cured
2532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: June 16, 2021, 08:08:27 AM
Online casino has changed the order of the day since most gamblers now gamble from the comfort of their homes and offices. I think only a few gamblers who has lots of time outside their daily routine still visit the regular offline casino and maybe the few ceremonial and titled gamblers who gets VIP treat might still flaunt the offline casinos as well. But generally a whole lot changed after the outbreak of covid and series of changes to life activities took place most people now prefer the online casinos since it's more convenient with direct access.
2533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: June 15, 2021, 07:04:34 AM
I think it isn't just gambling but anything online has been becoming popular due to covid-19.
Now a whole lots of person tend to find online activity even more convenient compared to the manual way of livelyhood since it eases stress and gives lots of convenient. Gambling online after the pandemic has seen a major boast because so many had to signup to gambling sites to avoid been left out and many manual gambling platforms took the boast to create websites where their customers can participate from their comfort zone. I think this brought a positive gains for online activity generally
2534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 15, 2021, 06:52:54 AM
Implementing taxation on gambling platforms is as normal as the taxs payed by other forms of enterpreneurs and civil jobbers. Both has an end target which is to make money from their endeavor so paying taxes shouldn't sound like an awkward decision nor a form maltreatment faced by gambling platform. The nations generate revenue to sustain and develop it's state from this taxes and since this platform operate within this region and make massive profits it would be wise to pay tax so as to aid in the adding more infrastructure that would make lives even more condusive for it's inhabitants
2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2021, 06:41:16 AM

the Copa America kicks off on 13 June when Brazil takes on Venezuela in the opening game. Brazil is the defending champion in 2019.

what the star, we will see who the top star in playing on euro league here. Lionel, Neymar, Aquero, thiago silva and many more.

Let's discuss who will the champion?
It's still too early to predict who the champion would be. Can Brazil maintain their championship?  Because all the teams here came prepared and ready for the trophy so I would only sit tight have fun all through the tournament and wait patiently to congratulate the champion of CONMEBOL 2021.
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 World’s Strongest Man on: June 15, 2021, 06:32:34 AM
But sports like this hardly attract fans since it has no betting format and isn't popular like many other sporting activity. For 2021 tournament what should we be expecting and would color be added to the event so as to spice it up thereby attracting more veiwers from all over the world. The fun of sports is in it's fans. With much fans the tournament would generate more funds and also have well structured gambling  platform for betting
2537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 15, 2021, 06:17:29 AM
20%? Is this even real ? Most of the companies not related to gambling pay lower than 10% but not the same in Kenya when it comes to the sports gambling. Now the biggest football clubs have joined hands to oppose this rule.
Gambling unlike other forms of investment comes with lots of risk. Most of the citizens and inhabitants gets addictive and starts engaging in criminal activities so as to raise funds for their gambling activities. In this case you might not blame tax operators for their decision.

Quote
In a bid to raise cash for the financial year amid the struggles caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Treasury Cabinet Secretary Ukur Yattani has reintroduced the tax, which was removed by President Uhuru Kenyatta in July last year.

“Excise duty on betting at 20% of the amount will be wagered,” said Yattani, which would mean that the amount would be levied and passed on to a person who has won on a bet, which according to Yattani would also help discourage betting in the country.

For any country it's good to have it's government regulate the way gambling is been practiced using different approach in which taxation is one of it. Most gamblers lack self decipline and low emotional control. Many can't even engage in self exclusion and all this can cause heavy choas for them as individuals. I think using taxation as a means of discouraging gambling might go a long way to help
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 15, 2021, 06:00:29 AM
Why we should think that when someone gambles they are addicted to it and highly depressed?

Nowadays, its rare to see anyone without social media and its a proved fact that social media addict is highly destructive to their mental strength and over time they will become less capable of doing anything. While the social media companies are the most profitable companies in this world.
Social media has it's own positive vibes so do gambling. Addiction doesn't refer to everyone who participates in an action it's only used for people who can't help themselves emotionally when it comes to using a particular thing. Looking at social media it's users gets addicted to it at some point but risks little or no financial commitment. And a few who do business on social media makes return from it. Now for gambling it's a different ball game entirely. One isn't certain about what your ROI would be and has such it's adviceable to keep your gambling minimal to avoid incurring heavy losses that might lead to depression.

I dream of the day when alt coins are not tied to the price of bitcoin. Uhg...
This would take years of consistent research and development. I took look out for this date where altcoin will be total autonomous without any linkage to Bitcoin so we can attest to how well it would do over a period of time.
2540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a rational real Person I dont see btc success on: June 13, 2021, 03:03:12 PM
I'm not in any way disturbed about your thinking physiology. We actually have freedom of thought and every individual has their personal school of thought. But for me I'm not seeing the possibility of Bitcoin been banned by Government agencies since it's not a centralized currency. I'm anticipating the surprise Bitcoin is coming with to pay those who patiently waited. It would be wiser if you are not left behind
