I'm getting a lot of;
KLNx:0 went idle before work was sent
... spam running the 3.6.6 nogpu test executable for Windows. Mining at ghash.io FWIW.

Well, this was a bit of a chore... Finally got all of them up and running in a test environment. Will move them to shelves over the weekend. Thanks for all your hard work, Steamboat, and CK for getting CGMiner working !

That's what they said about the 500 60gh miners they just auctioned off.
To be fair, ~2.1 BTC was a decent price for those miners IMO.

BTW,I split a 4 pin molex to run all my fans,I don't use the miners fan header.
May I ask why you aren't using the fan header connection ? Because of the restart issue, having to disconnect the fan from the board when restarting sometimes. Damnit. It's not sometimes for me. It's a 100% consistency Oh well. Makes restarting and troubleshooting a bunch of K16's a real pain in the ass... Good to know it's not just me. How many fans are you able to drive off a single molex line if I were to make one big-ass chain ? I might need to re-do my setup due to this restart issue

I just got an email from Tradehill. We are pleased to announce the launch of our next auction. BitSyncom is auctioning their Avalon ASIC A3255-Q48 chips: the second generation SHA256 Processor. BitSyncom will be auctioning off 20 reels of 500 chips per reel. Each chip outputs 1.5-1.6 GH/s at a standard 0.9V, with 2.05W consumption. The minimum bid for a single reel will be 24 BTC.
Isn't that worse performance when compared against Bitfury chips ?

Thanks Steamboat, I'm Rocking now Nice packing ... Oh Yeah! Received mine and have a few of them up-and-running. - Are you using the cgminer-nogpu.exe Con put up in his temp directory ? - Have you noticed that they only become recognized by the system when you unplug and then replug in the fan ? Read: When you first boot up the system and run CGMiner, it doesn't reliably pick up all of the K16's unless you replug the fans ?

Haha, Josh didn't make a lot of friends on here Being a pathological liar tends to have those results.

You know, nothing drives posts in a thread like an Inaba post.

Told you so! And you abused me! TOLD YOU SO! You trashed me on the butterfly web site too. Some people can't see the woods for the trees though, sorry, most people!
... and so I've now been told. Can you move on now and give it a rest ? I honestly have no recollection of whatever slight I've committed towards you to be the recipient of so much vitriol. It seems I owe you an apology as well. If I could offer some advice, I might recommend turning down the intensity of your rhetoric here. Your noise:signal is confusing to take in and decode.

Xian01 - the worlds biggest hipocrit who was backing up bfl even when it was obvious to the rest of the world it was scam! Get back under your rock troll, your just as much in the wrong has cockroach josh and thermoflask!
Excuse me ? I'm the troll ? If it's not clear to you that I turned a complete 180 on my support of Butterfly Labs, then there is absolutely no way to reason with you. Maybe it was obvious to you. Some of us took a little bit longer to get the memo, and are, sadly, trusting people who had that trust abused and broken in the most duplicitous and malicious manner possible.
|
|
|
BFL pays for ads. That's all this site cares about.
Wrong. What if it was the Silk Road paying for ads, that would have been ok? Sure it bears no risk at all? I'd have been totally fine with Silk Road paying for ads. Is that a damning indictment or what ? Silk Road was more reliable and respected than Butterfly Labs.

The fee is $0.01 per hour. So it's not that bad. It's dollars not BTC. also I think it would somehow increase the price initially to cover the capital and then go down to BTC0.4 and then correct at around BTC0.6. Let's see what happens.
How ?! It makes absolutely zero sense for GHS/BTC to be valued at BTC0.6 given you can get physical hardware doing 1GHS for at least half the price. Did you perhaps mean BTC0.06 ?

It must be a rush of newbies on there, I cannot justify investing with them at the moment.
I was just thinking the same thing; re: influx of newbies. It just doesn't make sense to be priced at the current levels. I was hoping to reinvest mining proceeds from my farm @ ghash.io into GHS as an experiment, saw the prices, verified the math someone did... LOLWUT ? If it gets back down to 0.07 I might consider it, but for now, I'll just watch the markets @ ~0.1 BTC/GHS and boggle.

|

Thats fine and all if you trust theymos.
IMO, the first thing people should do here on these forums is delete the trust inheritance, and build their own network of trust starting from zero. The default trust list is... interesting.
|
|
|
Prices have to drop. It's not a reasonable purchase @ > 0.1 BTC/GHS

Let's add complicity-through-inaction in violating privacy policies to the list of transgressions against these forums.
Inaba can get away with outing their former customers/critics for the aim of intimidation on these forums while moderators gaze from on high and do nothing to protect their members.
Disgusting and shameful.
A libertarian utopia to be sure. *rolls eyes*
Also, today I learned that bitcointalk.com exists.

Yes! More promises! Irrationality and empty threats are the lifeblood of Bitcointalk. Without them, the forum would wither!
Keep talking fuckface.
