There are two kinds of Barcelona at the moment. The one in the La Liga is in a much stronger position. They lost to only Real Madrid so far and their general performance is really amazing. The other kind is doing really bad in the Champions League. It is like they care about winning the La Liga title more than being successful in the Champions League. I don't think any team will be more focused on the league than Champions League, at least not this early, but I understand your drift, they tend to look like two different teams, but If were being honest, the result the team has gotten from champions league matches doesn't really portray what transpired in those games, Barcelona could justifiably won each of their last 3 games, the result weren't just in their favor, they were the team in each and every of those matches, even if it's just slightly better but the 3 points is all that matters in the end, and It's an awful situation to be in, honestly. |

It was a terrible week for me in the pool, I was able to rack up just 4 points in total and I dropped by 5 places all the way to 15th, Kudos to all of you guys sharing the yellow cap because It wasn't an easy week and and 10.5 points as the joint best also shows how tough the week was on an average. I cant belive this Barcelona its again going to play the Europa League.
Lewandowsky its playing exceptional, in some plays i think even better than before in the Bayern Munich. He is mading some "golazos" every game.
For anyone who play soccer knows that, how he turns and shoot and make the defender pass away in only one movement its really impresive.
This Barca side looks incredible when everything clicks into the place, they are playing free flowing football and scoring almost at will. But there is also other side to this Barca and that is defensive fragility and no real way to turn the game back to their side after falling behind. We have seen that best in CL, Barca is good and making chances, very unlucky not to score and then opponents punish them and Barca disappears from he pitch. This Barca side has a lot of potential but they are still not ready for competition like CL, maybe EL is more in their range. That's the fact I've actually been trying to emphasize since the beginning of this season, there's definitely room for improvements in certain areas of the team, but they're a beautiful team in progress, I know they're a lot expectations and the results haven't entirely gone in Barca's favor in certain instances. Getting eliminated early in the UCL was just them being unlucky, because both matches they lost, they should have gotten a point or more from either them and didn't play awfully too, but the team still lack a bit chemistry and the new guys at the heart of defense are struggling with fitness and knocks, but everything in attack and midfield are doing literally quite alright. |

At the rate this season is progressing and considering he will again be on my bench, I am quite sure he will get 5 save points and two penalties saved if City proves to be good enough to breach iron clad Leicester defense. I mean WTF, they were worst defense in the league and then they have 4 clean sheets in a row  Who can predict stuff like that. Man! That's actually incredible, considering that Athletic isn't bad team after all. They're different beast at San Mames, but fact that they haven't won at Camp Nou for 20 years sounds incredible for me. All series comes to the end sooner or later, but maybe not this time. This is still a good bet considering LA Clippers is very stacked right now. They still have Paul George, Zubac, and Jackson to carry the team in absence of these two superstars. When Salah looks lost in games like this, Mane makes a difference, and the decision to let Mane leave was a terrible idea, Even if some of their fan base refuses to admit it, the club would regret the priest decision at the end of the season.
Salah - Mane > KDB - Haaland Things would have gone way differently for Liverpool if Mane stay this season. Salah needs someone to really pull up those defenders to another side while he runs in from another side just like what Mane usually did, they both done pretty much the same thing to one another but currently Salah has to do all those by himself Imagine losing to Nottingham Forest that only scored 7 goals out of the last 12 games prior to this This is something I'd slightly agree with, Liverpool would have been with Mane without Salah, than with Salah no Mane, Mane have always had the best work rate and ethic between both players and often he lifts the club in attack while Salah gets most of the credit as the golden boy, Mane really deserve more credit than he got at Liverpool and that's got to do the with Salah preference even by the fans, Mane covers the whole of his flank and help Robertson in defend the left flank, TAA and Salah wings weren't really exposed due to VVD and Matip being at the top of their, so it was more about defensively how good VVD and Matip plus Allison were and not which easily gets exposed to those attacking breaks. |

United vs Chelsea is the one everyone needs to surprise us though, and not with 0-0!! I have BTTS and since we have no Ronaldo playing I think the team will be very very different style. Yes I also think so but the problem is that time is passing fast and we are already at the 60th minute of the game.You know that the team that needs to win the more minutes pass the more become pressured and when becoming pressured to win it can be prone to make many many mistakes which in the end would translate into Brighton not winning and that would crush all the pool predictors together with many bettors,the odd of 1.40 of Brighton was really small and most people probably have bet on them. The stats though as you say point to some really Brighton dominance which I hope until the end of the game to translate to a Brighton win. And the big surprise of the night,the boring team Palace just conceded to Wolves which have not scored a goal in open play since 3 September,can you imagine how bad Palace is. Yeah, it was quite unfortunate for Brighton to eventually for a draw, but Nottingham Forest was also quite better in the second half and they had a couple of chances themselves but they couldn't convert any of them, this is one of those games you'd not to end up goalless, but it is what it.
