Smiley

Smiley

2563  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Nieuwe Altcoins met lage difficulty. on: November 02, 2013, 08:10:13 PM
Beste Nederlandstalige BitcoinTalkers,

2564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [SUPPORT][POOL] digger's pool support on: October 10, 2013, 10:47:14 AM
I told that on the 17th of september already. Probably because it's on the other chain. Haven't received any LBW yet too, that's why i stopped mining it.

Do you mean something like this: http://coinmarketcap.com/?

(I don't own it or something, so don't report me for spam. I don't know whether this is allowed).
2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Feathercoin Official Weekly News #1 on: September 24, 2013, 08:17:45 PM
I'm reading that I have to update the FTC Wallet to the new version. Is this by downloading the new one? Or will I loose my wallet (and my walletaddress) by doing this?

Just download new one. You will not losse your coin.
To be 100% sure, backup wallet.dat file on flash drive just in case u screw something up Smiley

If you download and install the new one, your wallet and address will still be the same,  don't forget to back up your wallet beforehand through the client 'file, back up wallet'

Thanks for the help! I've got the new version now and my balance remains the same. Thanks! Smiley

I think FeatherCoin is (besides of LiteCoin) one of the few coins other than Bitcoin which has potential. Keep up the good work!  Cool

It seems that we're unable to mine XEN now right? The total is about 5 mhash/s and it seems that there are just invalid blocks.

2569  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: Nederlandse AltCoins on: September 22, 2013, 08:47:49 PM

2571  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Nieuwe Altcoins ontdekken on: September 22, 2013, 05:45:22 PM

Redownloaded the whole Lebowski chain and haven't received any Lebowski from the pool (http://lbw.ltcoin.net/).

There's obviously something wrong with that pool - don't use it.

Digger's Xencoin pool (http://xen.ltcoin.net/) is working well, you can use that one if you're interested. I like it  Wink

How to solve this? Or how to switch chains with my client? i'm obviously on the wrong one, cuz I haven't received any Lebowski from my pool mining.

Delete everything in appData folder apart from wallet.dat. Then your client should download the most 'popular' chain.

I've mined roughly 200 blocks in 82k chain. But now I have only 2 peers connected. Is that so little people here or i'm in a limb again?

Thanks. I think i'm on the other chain now indeed. I had to restart the Lebowski client a couple of time, but it seems my client is up to date now.

Same here. I mined over 1000 LBW @ Digger's pool, he has the prove that he had paid it out to me but I haven't received a single Lebowski yet..  Atleast, I have none in my wallet yet (6AcyCBF9LyTym3HPNDvoNZRNu4F7GhiiCq).

I think somehome the wallet isn't fully sych'ed, however it shows it is.
Just send some coin to you for test

Thanks! I've got them. Do you want them back?

However, this still means that I haven received my coins of Digger's pool (http://lbw.ltcoin.net/) ;\
2575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner & MobileMiner: Your Coins. Your Pools. Your way. Win/Mac/nix/Mobl/Ava on: September 21, 2013, 03:50:44 PM
I've added multiple coins to MultiMiner (for example Bitcoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin, Xencoin, Digitalcoin etc). Because Litecoin is based on Scrypt, is is getting Scrypt-mined (and not SHA256-mined), which is good. But for example Xencoin is also based on Scrypt, but when I hit start (to let my GPU mine Xencoin) it starts to SHA256-mine it, instead of Scrypt-mine it.

I know I have to select Scrypt or SHA256 while adding the coin to the program, but even when I select Scrypt for Xencoin, the MultiMiner is SHA256-mining it (instead of Scrypt-mining, like it should).

Thanks so much - excellent description. I've reproduced the issue and will address it.

In the meantime please take the following steps

  • Close MultiMiner
  • Click Start > Computer
  • Type %appdata%\multiminer into the address bar and hit Enter
  • Edit CoinConfigurations.xml
  • Locate your Xencoin entry and change the Algorithm from SHA256 to Scrypt
  • Save and close CoinConfigurations.xml
  • Open MultiMiner

That should fix it. Thanks again!

Indeed, that solved the problem. Thansk for your help!

2577  Local / Mining (Nederlands) / Re: Waarom geen GUIminer? on: September 21, 2013, 12:09:17 PM

Hm, I just found out at some of my Scrypt Altcoins are mined like SHA256 Altcoins, which isn't working obviously. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you be more specific? I've never seen anything like this. Are you saying that MultiMiner is trying to use your USB devices to mine Scrypt coins?

Ehm, I'll try. Excuse me, English isn't my native language.

I've added multiple coins to MultiMiner (for example Bitcoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin, Xencoin, Digitalcoin etc). Because Litecoin is based on Scrypt, is is getting Scrypt-mined (and not SHA256-mined), which is good. I know I have to select Scrypt or SHA256 while adding the coin to the program, but even when I select Scrypt for Xencoin, the MultiMiner is SHA256-mining it (instead of Scrypt-mining, like it should).

I'm just using 1 GPU (HD7950).

// What kind of USB Block Erupters are you offering? That might be usefull to state here.

It looks like my client does synch, from about 400 blocks till 0. But after that there are about 3400 blocks remaining, which can't be synched or something. Does someone have a solution for this?
