2561  Economy / Speculation / Re: after only a few days the bitcoin has gone up, but now it's starting to fall aga on: May 18, 2019, 03:51:08 PM
whether someone will panic again and sell their bitcoin that they just bought a few days ago when going price up and now the bitcoin seems to have started lowering the price again, I hope it won't do it, because the market can suddenly rise and fall very quickly , so we must be calm and not be too hasty in buying or selling when the market moves up and lowers prices.

It is always not wise to do FOMO. It is also not wise to panic sell when the price falls after you FOMO. Luckily, the price seems to have strong support at 7K. Those who bought at the top of the current run can relax because the price is slowly recovering. I can feel that it will test the 8K level again soon.
2562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SUDDEN CRASH on: May 18, 2019, 03:22:20 PM
Guyz what had happened to market, seems a sudden crash to everything, Bitcoin is dropped to 7100 in minutes. Any news?

Luckily the support at this level is strong. I will not call this a crash but just a correction. The market was trying to break the 8000 resistance but it failed and fell into the support level. It will try again to break the resistance as you see the price is slowly growing back up.
2563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will spending Bitcoin actually be bad for the price? on: May 17, 2019, 10:54:08 PM
It will not crash the market. You are thinking that the flow of bitcoin will be all in one way - selling. But in order to continuously use the app, the user have to replenish his account with bitcoins. This will create a cycle and a demand. Users will either buy bitcoin from exchanges or work to earn bitcoin. Then they will spend by buying from merchants through the app. Both creates flow of bitcoin in the users side and will push the price up. While on the apps side, the bitcoin will remain in spedn's wallet and will add to bitcoins under hodl. This lessens the supply available in the market, pushing the price further up.

Of course this is only possible if the app can provide a better, faster and secure service than using fiat. Or If the app can provide incentives to users so they will choose to use crypto.
2564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day 2019 on: May 17, 2019, 09:37:07 PM
As a sidenote, how about celebrating the day when Altoid posted the Silkroad advertisement on Bitcointalk? I think Silkroad is more important milestone that got Bitcoin really up and running than the 10000 bitcoin pizza.

Maybe no one wants to remember that because Silkroad connotes negative feedback on bitcoin. Silkroad transactions are mostly underground. The 10K bitcoin pizza is at least a small legal transaction which is now seems hilariously expensive.

2566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The key to configuring on: May 17, 2019, 02:48:29 PM
The overwhelming majority of highly intelligent people I talk to still have no idea why Bitcoin is valuable.
Not all highly intelligent people are interested in bitcoin thus, they cannot see its value. Have they read its Whitepaper or studied the blockchain? Everything you need to learn in order to see the value of bitcoin is in the blockchain.

We are extremely early.
You bet we are, and we are extremely lucky that we got in this early. Bitcoin is still very young and still can improve a lot in its technology and its value.
2567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull or bull trap on: May 17, 2019, 01:45:32 PM
I'm really confused, I want to know if it's time to cash in or to cash out, suffered lots of losses last year

Set how much profit you want from your investment and cash out when you reach it. You should avoid getting greedy and wait for the top price because no one can tell you exactly when will that happen. Always base your actions on your goals.
2568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: May 17, 2019, 11:50:09 AM
I don't know if I am cursed or something. If I sell a coin now from airdrop/bounty few days later that coins increases much that you will regret selling. If I hold a coin from airdrop/bounty again that coins price decreases much that you will regret not selling right away. I'm confused now whenever I sell the price increases and when I hold the price decreases. Am I cursed?  Cry

You and I both Op, we are both cursed. Suffered the same fate as well. But seriously, once I sold the token, I do not care if it pumps after. I only sell when I am satisfied with the profit. If I failed to take profit on a pump, I just let it go and take it as a lesson. It is no use to beat yourself just because you failed to sell on the best price.
2569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pump end or only correction? on: May 17, 2019, 11:39:02 AM
This is obviously a dump. The question is, is the support at 7k strong enough to protect the price at this level? Is the buyers still not dismayed by the sudden dump? If there is still strong buy, this dump will recover soon. But I think if we go below 7k, it will be a domino effect that will destroy the bull trend. For now, it is a waiting game.
2570  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 17, 2019, 05:14:22 AM

Over the past 30 years, salary never goes up, I know because I saw the salary today is same as my first salary 30 years ago, I’m not disclosing my age, so don’t be too paranoia, but the price of everything goes up thru the roof, the only person who salary goes up are (ikr, salary must kept secret because it is case sensitive, don’t tell anyone else!), ok, enough rant! Try to tell your kids to work for a salary in the future, I think they could barely afford a piece of beard!!

End of story! Ciao!
Did you stay in a dead end job for 30 years? No increase at all and yet you stayed there and here you are complaining that salary never went up for the last 30 years. You procrastinated for the last 30 years and now you are complaining? You could have at least improved yourself and gotten a better job or started a business.
2571  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Satoshi someone who lost everything in 2008 Market Crash? on: May 17, 2019, 02:34:12 AM

So that people don't lose their money just because of debt bubble

I doubt that that is the purpose of bitcoin. Taking into consideration it is modeled into earlier versions of internet money like Bit Gold and Hashcash, I think Satoshi just continued the earlier work of the creator of those projects. It is just a coincidence that the 2008 recession happened that pushed bitcoins use and propelled its popularity.
2572  Economy / Economics / Re: Starbucks, Nordstrom And Whole Foods Now Accept Bitcoin on: May 17, 2019, 02:09:03 AM
It's really a good news because they are also trying to accept the Bitcoin for the future because they already know the value of Bitcoin in the future so if they are accepting it right now then they had the huge chance to get their profit mostly to be a good value in their future that's why it is acceptable.
I do not know if that is true. The payment is made thru third party app which means that business establishments may not be even receiving bitcoin or crypto at all. The buyer can be spending bitcoin but it can just go thru the third party app and the app will pay the business establishments with fiat.

The Flexa Network Protocol works as an intermediary for each payment. It pays the merchant in cash and then goes through the slower process of taking payment from your cryptocurrency wallet.

But this is still good for adoption because normal users can be encouraged to get bitcoin for investment and they can easily spend it thru the app if they want to.
2573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Income from crypto trading. on: May 16, 2019, 10:10:20 PM
Night all. What makes you still survive with the declining crypto market? How much optimism are you about the future of cryptocurrency? I would like to quote my experience when trading, namely never giving up when experiencing losses. How do you respond when you lose? Thank you in advance. Success for you.

Losing is part of crypto trading. We are not perfect, we can make mistakes. The market is volatile, it can change trends on a whims notice. You should prepare for it emotionally and never lose control. Stick to your trading strategies and discipline.
2574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out on: May 16, 2019, 09:27:00 PM
Bitcoin has become more popular in the financial world due to its sudden growth but When I see exchanges there is a high percentage of people who are trying to sell there Bitcoins to make temporary gains using current price increase and some fear this is a temporary situation so they use this moment to abandon the market but My personal opinion is they doesn't understand this is a time that any investor should invest more into Bitcoins because after along time BTC has shown us it is not a Bubble or just another financial failure so as investors we should have a clear understanding in order to make this opportunity an advantage

That is just normal. They are traders and they need to get their profit every time the market allows them to do so. If you are an investor or just an hodler, then you can wait until the market price hits a new all-time high. But you cannot force that to traders.
2575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's time for us to return to being great traders ...! on: May 16, 2019, 06:12:46 PM
Bitcoin has started to raise prices again, we can see that market prices have started to move, As traders we cannot be tired and hopeless, we must continue to struggle to get up and be optimistic to become great traders, I think traders will not always suffer losses as long can be patient and keep trying to achieve the benefits we want, so let's start trading again so that we can recover the losses we have suffered.

Whoever said that traders stopped when the market was falling. Even on a bear market, there are profits to be taken. A good trader makes a profit whether it is a bear or bull market.
2576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: May 16, 2019, 12:57:30 AM
Even Aegon the Conqueror didn't end up burning civilians like that.
I do not differentiate her from a mad queen. It was very bad for her to destroy everything including the very people she wants to lead as a queen. On the part of the writers, I am very sure they made it that way to disqualify her as a good queen so as to make Jon Snow the rightful one.

I saw comments of SJWs on Twitter, even they hated how it turned out LOL. Normally they'd be OK with whatever the Mother of Wamen do.

I think she could still end up like this in the books but what really pissed people was the short build up in the show. It's like she just went full crazy in one episode. Even her brother had a slower build up before he blew his fuse.

The ending of this show is very disappointing. They build up their characters very well in the first 7 seasons only to destroy what they build in 1 season. The hype of the Night King and his army only to be beaten in one episode. The death of the Night king did not justify the hype. Then Varys being the best in spying, deception only to be very careless in the end which cause his life. Most of all, Daenerys who is supposed to protect his people and break the wheel end up killing everyone in Kings Landing. Very disappointing indeed.
2577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC on: May 16, 2019, 12:33:11 AM
Do you think ETH may outperform BTC in the next bull run?

ICO under ETH smart contract is not performing well and that is what boosted them the last bull run. I do not think it will work for them this time around. Even right now, the price of ETH is moving up because it is just being pulled up by the price of bitcoin. There is no way it will outperform bitcoin in that way.
2578  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: May 16, 2019, 12:23:38 AM
Thinking that 6.5 points is far to generous to give the Raptors tonight
Durant or not the Warriors will defeat Toronto/Bucks  Lips sealed
Then bet on the other side, that line could be a trap for the Raptors fans, when money are coming for the Raptors, Bucks might win 10+ tonight.
Bucks has been consistent in the playoffs against the Celtics, IIRC, they won 20+ points in their last 2 games at home.

It might not be the story tonight. Raptors is a different team. And Milwaukee is returning from a long rest. In their first game with Celtics, they also have a long rest and was beaten by Celtics on their home court. Bucks may also lose tonight and come back on game 2.
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Right Now: Will Do A Bull Run Too? on: May 16, 2019, 12:08:56 AM

Will Eth get benefited by the current strong showing of Bitcoin or will do its own slow like snail move?

What the chart show is the price movement of ETH in USD value. It is only an upward trend because it was being pulled up by the uptrend price of bitcoin. But if you check its BTC value, it almost left unchanged with little movement. This bull run may have a different effect on ETH. In 2017, ETH ICO and its smart contract were at its peak. Right now, almost no one is investing in ICO because of scams that can also cause slow movement for ETH even on a crypto bull run.

Where Manny fanboys at?  Grin

I can't believe Manny Pacquiao still chooses to fight in the ring. In his age, he better retire. Let the young blood reign the box. He is already successful boxer with a career as a Philippine Senator. He should focus on that instead.

Just let them fight each other because AFAIK Manny has still a heavy punch in him.

It does not matter if he still has the punch. He is fighting an athletic boxer almost half his age. If his younger opponent landed a lucky punch, his health may not take it. He can end badly injured.
