2561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 just achieved a big milestone. on: May 25, 2021, 07:24:49 AM
Congratulations to him and his family, well done. I don't feel bad about it because he is just another rich person. He worked hard for it and deserves it. In my mind betting and gambling is just another service in the economy. So while the owners of McDonald's or HomeDepot get rich, so should the online casino owners and bookmakers. He provides a platform where we all can follow our passion and try to make some money.
^ This proved to us that the gambling industry is good for making money, imagine that the gambling owner and his corporate earned millions of dollars in just a year. Well, that their business and probably it is not easy for them to run a gambling site, there should be too much effort on it and I think they deserved what they got. Nevertheless, not only online gambling casino has been being profited during covid 19, all online business has been a very trendy in all kind of businesses.
2562  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 22, 2021, 09:35:27 PM
Fortunately for my I trade futures strictly. Whenever I notice a change in the trend or a slow-down in the uptrend. I switch from trading Inverse perpetual futures contracts to USDT perpetual futures contracts.

So no matter how deep the market goes, my initial margin never gets affected whether I am shorting or not. I also usually use reasonably tight stop losses
^ That is a good decision but it is tough to execute because you will never know the market price movement.
Diversification of asset in crypto while the market experiencing a sudden dip is a wise move, in this case, you can buy more when it is too much dumping of the BTC prie or buyback when you think there is a good news pop up and you think BTC price will probably rise again. However, I will never think of having an exit strategy because I can able to hold a much longer time because I know right after this sudden dip there will always opposite reaction and will probably make the price of BTC grew up.
2563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 22, 2021, 09:26:42 PM
I'm still HODLing some ETH and I've bought more as the price has decreased. It is 2.3k dollars now and I think this might be the last chance before another big rally. I also wonder whether we have entered the bear market or not.
^ We are the same, I still have faith in ETH that will raise soon, we know that most altcoins as of now follow the dominance of BTC price and we saw that the market is not good yet. For me, ETH and BTC are almost the same when it comes it getting profit, so there is a potential that you will probably earn in the future, most especially when volume 2 will successfully be launched and the fees will go down and back like what happened before. Just HODL you ETT and never think to sell it.
2564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What online betting company you know gave you a b'day present? on: May 22, 2021, 09:22:00 PM
^ I never thought that there is a gambling casino like this giving a small amount of money as a gift offer for their user's birthday.
I can't imagine if they had almost thousands of users and will probably they will burn out millions of money just for the sake of that promotion. But probably those gambling casinos that have already known or they think that this promotion will give a boost to the number of users who will play and gamble to them. Nevertheless, that is a pretty small amount and probably others will never mind it.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Tweeting Power gone on: May 22, 2021, 09:00:58 PM
Well good for the market and the people to finally learn something.
He has been creating chaos on crypto by tweeting it is about time that people learn to ignore him and continue on their lives,
I hope it is permanent not just for his first couple of tweets while BTC is having a hard time.
^ Hopefully that will happen because I don't know why these people keep following in what Elon Musk Tweet. It is clear that he was manipulating the market using his power and probably now people will realize his tricks in the market and all of these will stop and his tweet will no longer have an effect on the people. People will realize soon that all of these are for the sake of his personal gains and most of his tweet it seems he really need money and becomes greedy or  very clever businessman that using his power and money just to earn more.
2566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl is not the best option as it seems on: May 22, 2021, 08:31:52 PM
We already know that the market will keep changing. Holding is only an option, not all are doing this...Sometimes it works but sometimes also it won't, I do holding depending on the situation but as the market will dump, I definitely sell my Bitcoin even though people will think that I'm weak. I really don't think that matters for me, I'd come for a profit, not to hold forever.
Holding doesn't make sense at all especially when you are holding for shitcoins. We also have to analyze if that is really needed or not.

yes, we also have to be able to see our financial condition first.  If indeed the economy we have is fulfilled, then holding back is the right step until we can get the profit target we want, but if our financial condition is bad then selling is also a wise decision rather than having to hold it by force while the economy is in shortages.
^ Still worth it to hold but is not also a wise decision if you will sell your coin under the price from which you have bought. When you saw that your profit was there, that is a good point to sell your BTC. We know the crypto market price how volatile it is, it may grow up in an unknown direction and no one will know when it will pump and dump. I still prefer to hold most especially at this moment when we saw that the market has a correction, it may from time to time it will back from the previous ATH, or much better it will create another ATH. Just learn to be patient at all times.
2567  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Don't easily lend out money. on: May 22, 2021, 08:04:35 PM
I will not lend money to others or my friends from the profits of the trade results. Because I want to develop my career
in the world of trading crypto and it is not easy, as well as require a lot of capital, so I will add capital first so that the
profit is also more. Maybe if I had a lot of money, I could have lent my money to someone else. But in small numbers.
^ Trading did not have any guarantee that you will earn money instantly and this is also not an easy job to do, you need to study and have further research before you will learn in trading. For me, trading is a sort of gambling, the advantage is this is not a base of luck game, you probably have a chance to earn profit depend on your knowledge had. So, therefore, I may advise putting money on the trading of what you can afford to lose and don't you ever lend money for trading, that is a very risky move if you will do that. Dont ever lend money just for trading, it may put you in a massive debt someday.
2568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Your Bitcoin Wallet Be Hacked? How Can You Secure It? on: May 22, 2021, 07:52:08 PM
I think that technically it is more difficult to do it than it seems to someone. But people are most often to blame for such hacking of their wallets.
This is due to trivial reasons, for example, I heard cases when a person copied his password instead of an address, which is visually similar in the number of characters to the address. And then he swore at the technical support service and so on. You need to be careful and not fuss when you make such movements.
It is many times more likely that people are going to get scammed than hacked, this is simply because people are always trying to find new ways of making some easy and fast profits and scammers know this so they make all kind of promises and investment products and people give their coins voluntarily to them, hacking someone is way more complex and even then the most common hack is simply to use a phishing site or to deceive people in downloading software that installs a virus and the hacker can get the passwords and private keys of the victim that way.
^ Being careless will most likely fall into this trap, scammers are everywhere not only in crypto, if you don't have technical knowledge on making and how to manage your BTC wallet, it mots likely end up of scam. Newbies on crypto should know these possible consequences ahead to avoid a possible scam and become their victims. Any BTC wallets can be hacked, even how we put double or triple security but if we lost the private key there will be always a chance that hackers may recover our wallet. Be responsible for keeping your crypto stuff.
2569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: May 22, 2021, 12:44:24 PM
I had 3k on pancakeswap and did almost 4x now is return to break even.
I had Ethereum 4.7 now its 2k
I had ada $2 now is 1.5
Also I lost in ogn

I lost a lot of money on crypto more than 8000$

Is it recoverble this year?
^ You have lost only the value of towards dollars in your portfolio but you are still holding the same amount, if you have 1 BTC, 100 ADA, and 5 ETH, they are still the same amount, if you can wait a long time, there is nothing you called loose. However, from the start you should know this already, investing in crypto is very risky because of its nature of high volatility. For now, the market was experienced a huge correction and it will probably take more time before it will recover. If you can wait for a perfect time, for sure your profit was there.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr on Aug 21 in Vegas on: May 22, 2021, 12:06:10 PM
this will be a tough fight for Pacquiao. with Pacquiao's speed I know he can handle himself around Errol Spence but seeing how hard Errol Spence punches Pacquiao will surely feel it and will have trouble taking a lot of Errol Spence hard punches. this certainly will be an entertaining fight. I remember Pacquiao said that he plans to fight twice this year before retiring. I wonder who will be the top contender for him to fight next.
^ The next contender to fight it could be these boxing fighters, Terence Crawford, Conor McGregor, Ryan Garcia, Keith Thurman, Mikey Garcia.
I remember when Manny Pacquiao once said, he is a faster and strongest fighter, he is very confident to say those lines and I think he did not change of being an aggressive fighter. Nevertheless, in this match it seems Errol Spence Jr will fight a monster on the ring that it is 50-50% that he will able to win, if he wins, that's a cash cow for him.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 22, 2021, 10:33:28 AM
~snip~
So I cannot see why these online casinos has to require all of that information to sign you up to play and to withdraw.  Roll Eyes  I watermark my documents with the name of the site, where I signed up.. so that I can track where the source documents was acquired, in case it was used to register somewhere else.  Wink
^ Definitely I agree with your idea, to avoid not to be abused, just always put a watermark on the documents like the name of the site and the registration date that you submit your documents, and additionally, it will probably help too if you will include your handwritten signature. We always worried about our documents being abused by those gambling sites we use and it is probably the only one solution to avoid regarding that matter.
2572  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wagered $10Mil on Stake March Bonus Issues on: May 21, 2021, 09:56:37 PM
It's possible that their support team were overloaded with requests due to which they couldn't look into your issue.

But OP is doing the process for 2 months now. Being busy at least should not be the reason.

And if OP will try to keep sending messages to support, the same answer will be given to him, or at worst, maybe they will not entertain every of his ticket if the request is continuous.

But for assurance, Stake is a reputable casino and I do know they will address it soon since OP now brings the ssue here. Following this story.
^ Definitely right, this site is reputable and I think they will not let ruin their reputation just on that issue and we hope that they will solve this problem as soon as they can because it will always hunt them or chasing them by the OP. However, let us hear what is the opinion of the Stake.com sides, and sooner or later Stunna will answer this issue and probably there will be glitches or something wrong that the reason they have a delay through they have an investigation but as I say, only them can answer this issue. I still have trust in Stake.com and I think they will solve this.
2573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: May 21, 2021, 09:46:03 PM
If one is looking for a way to mathematically lose everything on the long run, then the Martingale Strategy is the way to go. You are guaranteed that given any house edge, eventually, you will lose all your starting bankroll.
You may better be betting everything on a single bet rather than waiting 10 million times to end up loseing everything you have anyway.
Hehe. This is for real. The strategy itself will make those first timers to realize that it's really a way to lose everything they got. If they win for the first few tries then congratulations to them. But as said, if they continue and do it in the long run, they'll definitely lose entirely their bankroll.
^ Probably but Martingale's strategy has been created not to become a winning strategy, that is true. This method does not apply anywhere and is depending on what situation you are currently in. It will only be effective when you knew that you are already losing often now and you want to recover quicker than you used to be. Most of the gamblers use this method not even knowing that this has a name. And this is effective if you have your bank secured. Nevertheless, I won’t recommend this if you only gamble for fun and trying out games.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Arbitration judge orders Fury vs Wilder 3rd fight on: May 21, 2021, 09:27:40 PM
Tyson Fury will beat mentally unstable Deontay Wilder so easy if third fight ever happen, but I personally think Wilder does not deserve anything after acting crazy like he did.
I am not interested of watching this fight again and if other people don't want to pay and watch it than nobody can force it to happen.
What I really want to see is Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua as soon as possible.
^ Possible.
But if a legal case would exist on this, I think the Fury vs Joshua could really be moved. But I personally think that Fury could reconsider his decisions about this. Their match should go through, the previous case could be moved somewhere as per request. I will find it really disappointing if their match (FURY AND JOSHUA) will be affected by this issue. They just had it set and this thing popped out, is this a setup to delay the fight intentionally? Or is it a publicity stunt that would make the viewers become more interested to pursue the match?
2575  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: May 21, 2021, 09:18:00 PM
Why do you care? Are they forcing you to wager your money? Did they put a gun on your head? No. Whoever is falling for that scam and wagers more that he could afford to lose deserves to lose that money.

I bet most of the high rollers you see in the casino scoreboards are fakes. (maybe all of them)
This is just not right. You can say the same to every drug addict. "These drug addicts deserve to be addicted, because they tried it out". Why is this not corrrect? Every person can be a gambler if she or he is in a bad shape for a couple of reasons. This kind of (stupid) marketing cann of course trigger very bad behaviour.
^ I agree! This approach is somehow unfair. The streamers should know that they have an influence on their viewers and everything that they do is the basis of someone else’s decision. Imagine having that mindset that you are just entertaining people and suddenly someone placed their life savings to the platform and lost? Can your stomach take that? Nevertheless, is guilt present when you realized that you are fooling people in exchange for your own benefit? I don’t think so!
2576  Economy / Economics / Re: The Downfall of TSLA on: May 21, 2021, 11:31:16 AM
Is Tesla operating? If yes then there was no downfall, though their stocks are suffering right now, I don't think that they won't be going away anytime soon, I think downfall is not the right word because it implies that Tesla will not be able to recover from this which isn't true since they are a revolutionary company.
^ It is fully operational and regardless of production rate, the promises of innovation Tesla is offering are too effective. That is why their stocks are soaring high even when profits were not there yet. Elon Musk is a capable man, that person is not just a businessman or even an entrepreneur. He is a technical person as well. That is why the trust of the people is with him and we can’t blame those people who support him. Not just that, his prototypes are solving problems that possibly be adopted on a global scale. A business model that is scalable is somehow promising though.  Nevertheless, these are my opinion, let me know what is your take.
2577  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Scarcity. on: May 21, 2021, 09:52:28 AM
^ Scarcity is the twin abundance, this problem has been there since the first generation. However, people don’t lose their source of food. They just lose a source of food of what they wanted but when you look at your surroundings and where you came from, there is a lot of things to fill your stomach. The only problem in most of the countries is that they tend to have metro cities where people tend to go just to earn more money. If countries have the initiation to generalized wages to all of the parts of their countries, I don’t think scarcity is a problem. People will have their cost of living cut and go back to their origins so metro cities will become more air to breathe and a source of food to share.
2578  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader took his own life after the recent huge dump on: May 20, 2021, 10:32:06 PM
^ I feel sorry for the loss of the person who posted this. Only if he knew his friend was going through those circumstances, help might have been given by him. You know what? I think we all have to learn to avoid leveraging especially with the volatile market and you use all of your life savings to trade. That is a very risky one and consequences might be big. And sometimes, when we feel a short and temporary success, the tendency is we grow our egos in a way that we think we are the best. And when the failure hits us, we don’t have somewhere to go to seek assistance and help because we eat us. A negative effect of quick success.
2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: May 20, 2021, 10:25:23 PM
To me there is a question of whether the media's negative coverage of gambling is intended to protect people who make bad gambling or investment decisions. Or is it intended to deprive people like me of opportunities to make money.
They are just educating people on the possible scenario if they become addict in gambling, and we cannot say its a lie simply because there are so many gamblers who took their lives because of being addict in gambling. We know that we can get money in gambling but there's no guarantee on that, you as yourself should always know your limit and understand that gambling is not a great source of income, it can eat you alive.
^ This is how it goes and we all know it. Just because others are being profitable, does not mean it's enough to convince the crowd. We should understand that these people who are against gambling lost some of their valuable things with them. And some of them also lost people they loved because of gambling. But it does not mean you have to be affected by this. Those people knew the consequences and the risk of gambling. I think you are fine.
No need to oppose their campaign and enjoy your profits alone.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: May 20, 2021, 11:21:07 AM
Dubai is an open city and there are tons of people living there in which not muslim , if they will implement the rules for Non muslim people then i see no problem about allowing gambling in their city right?
^ Definitely right and I think not only them implementing such rules on their country that has Muslim people. Nevertheless, even most Arab countries do the same as Dubai, however, the ministry of tourism in Egypt regulates the establishment and operating of land-based casinos for non-muslim people who live in their country. Not only by that, even Lebanon and Syria as I heard. So, not all Islamic countries are strictly prohibited gambling activity. Thye should be thankful if their government allows gambling but don't abide by such laws if they strictly prohibit this, that is very simple.
