Very happy with the bowling department especially Ashwin-Siraj. Gill is also looking good but they still need to be very careful against the Aussie attack, they are not dummy and will fight back for sure.
Ajinkya Rahane was impressive as a captain and he made the right bowling changes and giving the ball to Ashwin early and he repaid the confidence bestowed upon him by picking the wickets of Matthew Wade and Steven Smith and then bringing in Mohammed Siraj who bowled exceptionally well by moving the ball in both directions.

On looking at the scoreboard of 195 runs for Australia as a team, it reminded me of Virender Sehwag who scored 195 runs in the boxing day match in 2003 Grin. A coincidental tribute to one of the greatest Test opening batsman in world cricket.
2562  Economy / Economics / Re: David Rosenber: Bitcoin is in a 'massive bubble' on: December 26, 2020, 12:49:23 PM
~
There are certain phases of the market that can last for years or decades, but the cycles do not change from the duration! So bitcoin burst in 2017 and recovered in 2020!
Depending on the market it is true, the BTCitcoin market usually recovers every 4 years and it coincides with the halving as well and it is a perfect timing and i do not think that we will see any major changes in that aspect.

And I'm sure another bubble burst and another recovery awaits us... Just look at the chart to see how many bubbles there were...
It is how the market will perform and we need correction and this time around as the investors are pouring in millions every time there is a correction we should expect a massive burst when all these investors decide to book their profit.

2563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Covid 2.0 UK has suffered massively and BTC is dropping on: December 26, 2020, 11:37:49 AM
covid version 2 wont be that life threatening but btc prices can drop again just like the old times when the first cases of covid starts but as long as people adjust and loosen/lighten the banning that are happening the price of btc can return to normal again .
The price is controlled by big investment firms and so is the reason we are not seeing any major corrections even though the price is about to touch $25k, whenever there is a small correction these firms are investing heavily. The new strain will be a threatening concern as it is spreading faster than the first strains.

~
Lol why not threatening ?we don't even Know if the vaccine we have now are effective in this one, because this is much deadlier than the first.
A positive attitude  Cheesy. It is a fact that we have no idea about the effectiveness and the sides effects of the vaccines that are developed.

4 changes in the Indian squad, Australia going unchanged. From here Indian team performance can only go up as they just need to score 37 runs.  Grin Grin Tongue
The team has changed completely with four changes and this time India will cross the target  Cheesy. Ravindra Jadeja is included in the team and i am expecting him to bat longer and expecting Rishabh Pant to hold on to the catches behind the stumps  Grin.

Bumrah and Umesh Yadav share the new ball and lets see how long this match goes. I hope to see a good match and Shubman Gill making a debut century as well.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much fud and scams in crypto and BTC on: December 25, 2020, 11:00:58 PM
If so why go to university like yale If you study only how to scam others honest crypto traders.
It means probably the financial scams market manipulation are only things you can learn those schools.... Lol  and now they come in crypto world with their scams... Is the stock market not enough for them?
Looks like you are referring to the SEC decision against XRP, in my opinion they came out late in calling them a security and they will face the legal implication for raising money in that name and it was evident from the start what their business model was and the SEC is there to follow and impose the law and not to scam people Tongue.

You will hear many cryptos facing the same problem in the coming months or years, especially ETH and other similar coins who raised money without registering with them.

Covid is a big excuse. When Bihar elections can take place in Covid what's a big deal with the BCCI elections? The same old story earlier it was Srinivasan now it's Shah/Ganguly it's just the dictators that change the hunger of power always remains supreme. Surprising to see even Ganguly haven't felt that he should step back to give chance to others as a fair process.
It is not an excuse as a new strain of virus is identified the government should take action if not we will again loose another year and there are reports coming out that someone flying from UK tested positive and rumor is that he has the new strain and if that is the case the government has to string in action now and isolate the patient before getting out of hand and BCCI elections are not a priority while general elections are the base of democracy.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 24, 2020, 10:02:38 PM
Dinesh Karthik could be in the Indian team for a few more years. Rishabh Pant is young now. Now Dinesh Karthik is in form, I think it would be wise to use him properly at this moment. He is a good finisher. He can take the helm of the team if necessary like Dhoni. At this moment, Rishabh Pant will be able to better adapt to the Indian team
Dinesh Karthik is not in the team for this Australian tour and he is a talented player and if you look like that then KL Rahul is another talented player who is a wicket keeper as well and he performed well in the IPL. The problem with Rishabh Pant is that he dropped catches as a wicket keeper in the past series and he should improve his wicket keeping skills. Pant played well in the warm up match but i doubt he could replicate that kind of innings in the international level.
2568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Christmas 🌲 Bear 🐻 Already Started Munching! on: December 24, 2020, 03:55:27 PM
All the signs of the Christmas 🌲 bear has been shown.
That very bear has already started clapping down on the market.
I was expecting this in the market a week back and finally the market is showing a correction on back of the SEC verdict against Ripple and the entire market except BTCitcoin went down. I am wondering when there will be a correction in the BTCitcoin market as well and when the institutional investment stops as it will give many the opportunity to purchase again  Grin.
2569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 23, 2020, 11:22:52 PM
^  Aldo prolly knows he's gonna be one of the guys of the 60 fighters who are gonna be cut off from the UFC.  So calling him out was prolly a good idea and could give the UFC brass something to think about.
Aldo is a big superstar for Brazil and if they let him go he will sign with Bellator like the rest of the big names they signed recently including Anthony Johnson and i do not think UFC wants that. Bellator on the other hand will match these fighters against theirs to show that they had a better roster  Grin.

Anthony Pettis also left the UFC for PFL.

Anyway, there's this guy called Pogey Rob on the Twitterz who does full card parlays.  He's hit them a couple of times before and hit it again...  Turned 10 bucks to a tad over 13k USD.
Really lucky to win a big one and i have seen some big parlay wins in recent months advertised in social media, good for them .

^  Pretty sure Dana White didn't keep the UFC going just for our benefit.  He did it to get their ratings up..  Which it pretty much did.  Their numbers are at ESPN+ afaik.
According to the agreement they need to produce shows and Dana White delivered even with many opposition from different corners.
2570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk on Bitcoin: "Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money" on: December 22, 2020, 11:40:18 PM
Is his account got hacked again? I thought he was a believer...

He is also known to be trolling people but I can't decide if he was trolling earlier or now?  Grin Maybe both!
As i replied earlier in a similar thread, Elon Musk is a troll and he comes up with these tweets whenever he is high  Cheesy. Whenever he talks about cryptocurrency and BTCitcoin he always mentions Dogecoin as well and after his tweet as expected the price of Doge started moving up and that is the sole reason he comes up with these tweets, just to see how the global market is moving with his silly tweets Cheesy.

The main Pakistan bowlers are getting trashed and until they are able to pick wickets or restrict the run flow there is nothing you can do, either you get the toss and bowl first and try to chase, defending the total is a dream for Pakistan  Cheesy.
It looks like the Pakistan captain was following your posts as they won the toss and put the opposition to bat first and then chased down the total and won the match  Cheesy.

All the credits goes to Mohammad Rizwan for batting till the 19th over and scoring at a good pace and then Iftikhar Ahmed finished the final finishing job, it was an unexpected win as always with Pakistan.
2572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 20, 2020, 08:41:35 PM
Nice to see former champs win (Pettis & Aldo). After winning, Aldo has called out Dillashaw as he returns from suspension next year. That match up looks good on paper at least.

See you next year folks! Hopefully we don't get more cancelled/scrapped fights.
I did not wage a bet for this card because i was not sure about Jose Aldo and Anthony Pettis and Stephen Thompson was returning after a long gap and hence i was doubtful about whom to pick and Jose Aldo won and calling out Dillashaw was not a great idea.

Greg Hardy fights are interesting to pick as the fight will not go the distance as he will win swinging wild or he gets knocked out  Cheesy.

Next UFC event is Holloway vs. Kattar in January 21
Holloway is in cross roads in his career as he will not get a title shot anytime soon and if Kattar could win the fight he could fight for the title.

On the other hand, I feel pretty envious of those people who go from rags to riches. For example, there was this woman who literally bet on soccer team names that she liked in an accumulator and she actually won big.
These are extremely lucky scenario, just randomly picking the teams she liked and then actually winning the accumulator and the amount of money waged is serious as well for a risky bet by the way she picked the winning combination .

The minimum withdrawal amount is reduced as the price keeps on increasing to 0.001BTC but the withdrawal fees remains the same, any plans of reducing the fees as well as the price keeps on rising ? Wink.
2574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins rise affect on Altcoins. on: December 20, 2020, 06:53:29 PM
I guess it is no news anymore that whenever bitcoin is surging, all money goes into bitcoin which in turn make altcoins to dump so easily. It is always advisable that any time bitcoin is pumping, we should avoid getting into alts except you are ready to hold for long.
In the past when ever there was a big rally in BTCitcoin the entire alt market would see a major correction only because majority of the users would sell their coins to ride the rally but this time there is a difference because ETH is expected to rally and touch its all time high valuation because of their upgrade and till now we have witnessed that the alt market was rallying along with BTCitcoin.

Well..... this is the same Australian team, which got destroyed by India three years ago. Back then also, they had the home advantage. So it's not like a david vs goliath battle. Even now, I would say that it is a battle between two teams of equal strength. Australia may be having a slight home advantage, but that is it. I expect India to come back strongly in the second match.
After the Australian first innings India was having the advantage as they were leading the scoreboard but the second innings was a disaster and full credits goes to Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood who bowled exceptionally well and the Indian batting line up played the same line and length and perished back to the pavilion and it is difficult to return from a disastrous performance as the pressure to perform will be really high and that will not help either.
2576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin virtual currency is a scam on: December 20, 2020, 02:40:58 PM
The Bitcoin cap of 21 million is just a trick for the valuable bitcon that the founding teams aim for
It is not a company and one explanation about 21 millions

Quote
mathematical explanation:

Calculate the number of blocks per 4 year cycle:

6 blocks per hour
* 24 hours per day
* 365 days per year
* 4 years per cycle
= 210,240
~= 210,000

Sum all the block reward sizes:

50 + 25 + 12.5 + 6.25 + 3.125 + ... = 100

Multiply the two:

210,000 * 100 = 21 million.
Source : https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/8439/why-was-21-million-picked-as-the-number-of-bitcoins-to-be-created

Bitcoin works with security and anonymity, but now the US government of the FBI has traced and confiscated many bitcones, even at auction
That proves that bitcon is already a technology junk that is easy to track out
Still amazing to see that there are people who are stupid enough to imagine that a transaction with a public ledger will be anonymous Cheesy.

I advised him to give 1.5 million bitcones to me so that I could do my charitable work to help people on earth
Give me 1.5 million bitcones for me to do my good work to save the mistakes you made
I waited for you to get inside the Satoshi Nakamoto message to hand me 1.5 million bitcones
Extortion, do charity what you can afford and not by extorting and scamming people. Tongue

News coming in that Shami is ruled out from complete tour due to fracture. This is big blow for bowling camp, may be Siraj should replace him. Can Natarajan make his debut? Would be interesting if he gets the chance despite not playing any warm up games, surprise factor?
It is really unfortunate for India that Mohammed Shami will miss the rest of the series, i would like to see Natarajan making his debut and would like to see how he can perform in pitches like this and with his stump to stump line will be challenging. India needs to step up their batting and i hope they will replace Shaw and give Gill the opportunity. With Kohli leaving the series and Shami injured things are not that great for the team.
2578  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Stablecoins get more regulated on: December 19, 2020, 11:49:17 PM
Therefore, for example, the US can ban all stablecoins that are backed by its dollar.  Over time, government regulation of stablecoins will become tighter and governments will have appropriate leverage if they act together.
I am expecting regulation and strict scrutiny for stable coins and with Facebook planning to come out with their version of coin the regulatory authorities were against the idea and since they are a social media giant which is listed in stock exchanges they cannot jump into the cryptocurrency space like the rest of the coins that exist in the market.

I am not expecting the government to ban stable coins even though i am expecting a complete ban for privacy based coins in the coming years as some of the governments are already trying to break the privacy and if they did not succeed they will ban them.
2579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New KYC rules for crypto wallets on: December 19, 2020, 12:56:01 PM
But this will be forced to be implemented on coinbase and other regulatory exchanges. Anyone knows if binance would be liable to obey these new regulations ?  Sad
Wallets like Coinbase and Xapo implemented KYC a few years back, i do not remember whether i voluntarily completed or they enforced as it happened a few years back and you should expect strict rules being implemented in every cryptocurrency related business and there are proposals from the EU to implement strict KYC by exchanges without the loophole to withdraw minimum amounts and we should expect the same in other cryptocurrency related business as well.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 19, 2020, 06:41:18 AM
India made only 36 runs which is their lowest score in the test cricket. Their pervious lowest was 42 runs against England in 1974 which was long time before. I don't agree it was a pathetic batting by india, perhaps the pitch has something to do with it. If Australia face difficulty in this chase, then we can blame the pitch.
A few feather in the cap of Virat Kohli  Cheesy. I could not believe my eyes when i saw a pop up showing the highlights of India's unbelievable collapse and most of the dismissals were similar as if i was watching the replay Grin.
None of the players were able to score double digits and what major changes they can make in the rest of the series is a big question.
