That would be funny indeed having 6 umpires for focusing on the 100 overs match. If a single umpire cant focuses a 100 overs, i would say he should stop the umpiring and adopt some other profession where people work 10 - 12 hrs a day and yet paid less.
Instead of finding more umpires, the focus should be to increase the quality of the existing umpires.
The umpires have all the technology at their disposal and they have three umpires officiating the match and now a days the third umpire looks after the front foot no ball and may be that is the reason the umpires these days are not careful with the front foot and if the technology is not working then they will miss calling them. The umpiring quality should be better and the reason they are depending on technologies to assist them might be the reason we saw many no balls being ignored by the on field umpire in the first Ashes Test.
1622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 12, 2021, 06:01:31 PM
I think that this is the more likely case to happen, I mean there's a high possibility that Tyson will knock out Paul but given that this is an exhibition fight, they might likely drag this fight out and end it in a draw so both sides won't get too much flack from their respective fans.
If the fight goes to the distance then you think the ego of Mike Tyson can accept that, if someone who is not even a professional boxer was able to counter his punches and was able to go the distance. I am sure even though Mike Tyson is 50 plus he will be looking to knockout Logan Paul and i am sure he will be getting the opportunity to land one heavy punch.

Logan Paul was able to go the distance against Floyd Mayweather, but he was a much smaller fighter and is not known to have knockout power, but Mike Tyson was a Heavyweight king for a long period of time.

I wonder why so many people around the world are surprised about vaccination mandates as they do already exist anyway for various illnesses and infections. Chickenpox, measles, and a variety of other infections are already coped with via a vaccination mandate. Nobody ever really considered protesting against that. Anyway, I hope this is soon getting under control.
When you cook up a vaccine within an year, which does not even completely protect against the virus, you cannot force people to comply with that. The other vaccines you mentioned are tested for years and then implemented and once you are vaccinated you will not get infected, but you are aware that the COVID vaccine is not giving you complete protection against the virus and there is no way even the scientific community will know about the side affects in the long term.
1624  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting more bearish, what is the trigger? on: December 12, 2021, 03:43:11 PM

Bitcoin is getting more bearish because it is December as many investors are waiting for December to cash out. If you look at the bitcoin price history for every bullish year you might notice December is the month with the highest bitcoin sell up. During the bitcoin bullish market, many people are investing in bitcoin and wait for December to cash out, this is not something new it is just history repeating itself.
Usually that is the trend going into winter as majority of the investors will book their profit and enjoy their vacation time, but this time around we have institutional investors as well, so anything is possible, they do not take a break like the casual investors do but there will be a time period where they will be booking their profit. It is better to prepare yourself on how the market will perform and expect the market to move in either direction in the coming months.

Most of the stablecoins right now has a legal license to operate so there's no way that they will freeze randomly your stablecoins unless you get your token on a shady way. We are not on crypto pioneering era where lots of scam from project is happening. Big companies including stablecoins like USDC, PAXOS and many more is moving toward the legal way.
I was checking USDC, they are attested by Grant Thornton, LLP but i could not find any audit papers, if their audit papers are public then it would be great and we can say that they are doing everything on a transparent way.

When it comes to scams, yes there are many scams that are still in the market, the most common right now is to impersonate any legit project and create a replica of their website and scam users. There are rug pulls that are still going on, hopefully we will see a change in that aspect in the future.

like what said above me it isElectronic exchange Medium and that is the main subject of bitcoin function , but that does not reflect on your belief above.
It is not a simple electronic exchange, it is a honest ledger and the most important aspect is decentralization.  Wink.

Bloody hell, we have an upset Julianna Peña defeated Amanda Nunes in the feet and then finished her on the ground. This is the biggest upset in a very long time, luckily i did not make a bet on money line as the fight ending had better odds and i am happy i did that way. I never thought Julianna Peña could rise to the occasion and defeat Amanda Nunes .

Julianna Peña shook up the world  Kiss.

It is crazy that the champion Charles Oliveira was the underdog, he won the fight with his trademark choke and there is nothing Dustin Poirier could do about that and he has the record for the most submissions in history.

Australian stadiums are majestic, crowd is good and coverage is average. Recent coverage of Gabba felt like its went back to 2000s, No ball drama, equipment failure or take today's example where they covered good amount of overs with only 1 camera. On commentary every broadcaster should ban Warne and Junior without any explanation, they give ear cancer to the listener.
The Australian board failed to check and verify these details and they had the worst experience in terms of umpiring decisions because they failed to identify no balls and the technology available for the match. With the advent of technology the on field umpires are becoming lazy as they failed to look for front foot no balls and they did not inform about the lack of technology to anyone as the on field umpires were relying on the third umpire to inform them.

Read up on  Basil De Olviera and Khaya Majola. In the past, Cricket was always played in communities(non white) South -Africa but because of colonialism and Apartheid non white players were never selected to even play first class cricket..
The fact remains that Cricket is an English game and if not for colonization none of the countries that are playing Cricket right now will be playing because the English took the game of Cricket to every colony they controlled.

During the Apartheid years it was illegal for people of different races to even play with each other. Hence why India, Pakistan and the West Indies were never invited to play in South Africa until the 90's. Basil De Oliveira was a coloured South African man who was forced to move to England due to racial discrmination. When he was selected to play for the English team against South Africa the Apartheid government cancelled the tour rather than have a multi racial team play in South Africa
The reason why Asian countries did not tour South Africa till the 90s is because, South Africa was banned by the ICC in 1970 because of the government policy that they will only play against white race and they got reinstated to Cricket only in the 90s and if you do not have a team there is no tour basically  Wink.

Do you realize that this is a clickbait article? Out of the 2.5 million truckers, a few tens of thousands are threatening that they will quit over the vaccine mandate. In the end, this number may be as low as 1% or 2%. Even if that causes a shortage, the US businesses can easily hire truckers from across the border (either from the north, i.e Canada, or from the South, i.e Mexico). Unlike the situation in the European Union, there is no shortage as such. If the American truckers go ballistic over the vaccine mandate, then they'll lose their jobs. As simple as that.
The ground reality is different, there is a serious issue with trucking as goods are not moving to the destination for months and the ships are docked in the port without unloading and the stores are struggling because of this situation as the goods are there in the port but there is serious transportation issue.

When it comes to mandatory vaccine mandate, it is really against the freedom of an individual, it is not just the truckers that are opposing that, government officials including police officers, military personal and many are planning to resign if they are forced to take a vaccine to continue work.

In white ball cricket they do have ridiculous team, they can even field 2 different teams in limited overs but they seems doomed as far as test cricket is concern. Poor Root is doing all heavy lifting for them.
Joe Root is once again doing the heavy lifting, i thought the match is done and dusted and now England is recovering but they to play the entire day to avoid the defeat and they trail by 58 runs and i wonder how long they can bat once Joe Root and Dawid Malan are gone. On papers they have Ben Stokes, Ollie Pope and Jos Buttler but it is going to be interesting tomorrow.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: December 10, 2021, 06:58:34 PM
So the tournament is finally over at Game 11 and we do not see the rest of the matches because Magnus Carlsen won comprehensively with 7½ points and i did not expect much from Ian Nepomniachtchi as he made blunders in this match which gave Magnus Carlsen the opportunity to finish him and it was a great game, but i missed some of the matches and i need to see those game play and replicate that to understand the game.

Binance is the exchange.
BNB is the altcoin that they have. I agree that BNB is a good choice and can be said as long term investment since it's a utility token of Binance, the exchange and a lot of projects too are known because they are on BSC.
My concerns about trusting Binance and the BNB for the long term is simply because, whenever there is a litigation against them from the government they usually shut their office and move to other location, which means they are not confident to comply with rules and regulations which is inevitable, so how long they will run and with majority of the countries are planning to regulate the market, their past action is a concern for me to trust them in the long run as things usually change quickly in the cryptocurrency space.  Wink

Yeah, this info came out later and i was watching live. Guess Channel 7 broke the 14 no ball news to everyone. For some weird reasons no broadcaster bothered to share single no ball footage on live feed except the 2, which got caught by naked eyes.
May be the third umpire was sleeping or he was not having the footage to call the no ball, the third umpire is responsible for these front foot no ball i believe.

Australia is in a good position and David Warner once again missed his century but he played well but Travis Head surprised me as he was playing as it is an T20 or ODI striking at over 120 and he is still in the crease and by morning they will be having a 200 runs lead and it is going to be a difficult match for England to recover in this match.
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC stuck on same price range? on: December 09, 2021, 02:45:29 PM
The real developer of LTC already left years ago and now it needs improvement in the project, if new developments are made in the code and new features are introduced then only LTC can get a boost in the price but if nothing new is introduced then the price will also remain the same, if not it can also fall because of people loosing their intrest in the project.
The Litecoin github is updating and there are changes going on in the background but it is not celebrated like we used to do for BTCitcoin, but one aspect is true Charlie Lee sold all of his holding during the last rally and he was even vocal about booking his profit and i doubt whether he has any meaningful asset in his bag, literally he created the project to make money and got out when it was shinning high Wink.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 08, 2021, 09:08:14 PM
So now they replace Furry with a fighter that has lost his last 4 fights.  Roll Eyes  ..Yes, he was won 19 fights and lost 7 fights, but he is definitely not in the prime of his career at 39 years.  Roll Eyes
I am not that happy to see the fight changing now and Jake team is replacing them by Tyron Woodley was a bit of a surprise as Tyron Woodley was pleading for the rematch for a long time.

They put Jake Paul against bad fighters on purpose to push his career and I think that is just stupid. I want to see him fight against some stronger fighters ...and I want them to go toe to toe till the end.  Angry
Jake Paul and team are picking and choosing the fighters where they think is their best choice to win and make millions per fight and till now they are successful in finding opponents and promoting the fight and make millions per fight Grin.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you buying in this market downturn? on: December 08, 2021, 07:40:50 PM
Hi, the market has dropped dramatically recently, and we have the opportunity to buy cool projects at a good price, for example, it was possible to buy Solana, NEAR, Avalanche, Cordana much cheaper than they were a week ago.  have you bought something, and if so, what have you bought?
When the market went down drastically i was in two minds whether to jump in or pass and when the market showed signs of recovery, i purchased a few coins for the near term knowing that it will give me a good profit once the market starts rallying again. The coins you mentioned are not in the list but i got some solid projects that are yet to rally during this rally and hopefully we will see a growth in that and one of them is Matic considering how some of the projects are migrating to their network.

NZ batsman showed zero respect for 10 Wickets in an innings by Patel. Surely India will come out victorious in the match. Kohli is struggling to regain his form, he need some more time probably. Only rain can save NZ, is there any rain forecast for coming two days of play?
India just need 5 wickets to wrap up the match and two days time to pick those wickets, knowing that New Zealand was able to defend loosing their final wicket in the first Test match when i really thought India would wrap up the match easily, New Zealand showed a fighting spirit but in a situation like this it is impossible.

If New Zealand spinner is able to pick 10 wickets and trouble Indian batsman who are known to play spin better in this pitch, you cannot expect any team to hold against the world class spinners India has and that is what we saw with New Zealand.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 05, 2021, 08:10:55 PM
We always see people post about losses, but I won $550,000 this month betting on sports (soccer mostly), and it has truly changed my life! I mostly bet on total goals and match winner! Would love to know if anybody else has experienced this level of success!  Smiley
Congrats on winning big and it is good to see someone showing how much they won but i am more curious about what all matches you made a bet in the past year, but what i would like to see is what are the matches you wagged and what is your win percentage to have a general idea on how you approach a match. Half a million in sports betting is certainly a huge amount and it is a promotion for the site as well. If possible post the list of matches you wagged to reach this amount.

He is doing an exhibition fight because he cannot be in a professional fight anymore, he already retired a long time ago but he is still actively maintaining his body and his stamina that's why even at his age, he can still fight against a younger fighter.
Mike Tyson can literally fight for a world title next if any state athletic body decides they can give out the license and there are literally other factors to get a license including medical condition and if it passes unanimously there is no restrictions and they will follow the standard Queensberry Rules.

The health of the fighter is only determined while giving out a license, so if he passes every medical test conducted by the athletic body he will get a professional boxing license once again.

1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: December 05, 2021, 05:04:39 PM
Do you think it's a good idea to penalize airdrop hunters? Will this do more harm or good to the adoption of crypto/Blockchain tech? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
It depends on the projects, there is a lot of bounty hunters who does not really give any value to the product and all they care is to get the bounty amount, but it will help in creating the initial traffic they are looking for. It depends upon projects leaders as the bounty sellers could have an impact on the price for the short term but in the long term if it is a strong projects, these bounty hunters wont be a huge problem.
