1681  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Satoshi's 1 Million Bitcoins Legal Court Case Kleiman vs Craig Wright questions on: November 21, 2021, 08:07:47 AM
~
Finally why is that the early people that worked on Bitcoin such as Dave Kleiman and Hal Finney all have died coincidently  Huh
Dave Kleiman and Hal Finney was in bad health condition for years before they left the world. Dave Kleiman was paralyzed from 1995 due to an accident and he needed help to move around and for the last three years of his life he was in the hospital and Hal Finney who was suffering from ALS for years and you can find his post in the forum when he was updating about his health conditions, so there is no mystery.

When it comes to the court case, till now Ira Kleiman has not produced anything about any agreement to get any Satoshi coins but what i am surprised is he already spent around $50 million for this legal case and there is no way he is going to win the case with the way things are going and whether CSW is the creator is another story altogether.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: November 20, 2021, 11:59:48 PM
CMC doesn't implement a system like 1 account/ip. That's why cmc airdrops are very easy to cheat, and many cheaters get a lot of rewards.
I am not sure how they implement the system and whether they are strict in following the one IP policy, but we can see a lot of users participating in everything they conduct. I have not won anything till now, may be because i did not participate in many drops but last month i enrolled in some of the drops and i doubt i won anything, i am yet to check my wallet but i doubt i won anything.
1683  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far will Bitcoin price correct? on: November 20, 2021, 10:44:13 PM
With fear beginning to creep into the market after closing the day below $57K, the lowest price in over a month, do you think the bottom is now in or that price will go lower?

While most speculators don't appear to think the bull market is over, many still think price may still go lower. But how low do you think Bitcoin will go before reversing?
Even i am not expecting that the bull market is over yet, it is a minor correction, you need to expect the huge investment from institutional investors and they will be booking their profit whenever the price touches all time high valuation.

When it comes to the bottom prediction, it is hard to predict how low the price would go during the bear market, but i am expecting that the market could go below $30k especially if the institutional investors starts dumping the coins.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Introducing a state-issued cryptocurrency on: November 20, 2021, 09:54:24 PM
Union Finance Ministry has take a decision on a state-issued cryptocurrency soon but ban all private cryptocurrencies. The VHP leader had sought a ban on all cryptocurrencies alleging its usage to fund terrorism, drugs and other 'anti national activities'. As all private cryptocurrencies are still not considered as legal tender or coin in India, but the govt may introduce an official digital currency in India.
There is nothing concrete to say that the Indian government is planning to ban all cryptocurrencies as we are hearing these rumors for a long time. The last i heard was that they might try to restrict cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment but will regulate the market.

I think its a good decision by government.. What you guys think about it?
Is there anything that the ruling central government has done in the past 7 years other than dividing people. So do not expect anything that will do good for everyone Tongue.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ronaldinho launches NFT collection with Shirtum. on: November 20, 2021, 08:34:47 PM
Ronaldinho launches NFT collection with Shirtum.
There are a few NFT launches in the football world like Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Pelé being conducted by Ethernity and they sold record items for Lionel Messi and now Ronaldinho came up with his NFT which is great for the fans and the next big launch everyone is expecting is Cristiano Ronaldo and where he will be launching his NFT. For the fans it is great to see these and hopefully the trend continues.

Boards like BCCI are much more concerned about there repute then rule of law. Already news of rape allegations on pandya are no more to be seen. Moreover there is no inquiry on from where pandya get such expensive watches. In countries like India its easy to bypass law if you have money.
The molestation charges are recent right from one of the woman who has connections with the underworld, that is what i read from the news and now the expensive watches. I do not think the BCCI will intervene in situation like these. When Sachin Tendulkar faced the same issue in the past for getting a car home which was gifted to him, he was asked to pay the prize of the car as tax because the import tax is 100% and the government gave him the concession because it was a gift for his performance and i do not remember BCCI intervene in that situation.

This is also personal problems and if anyone is to pay the tax for the items, BCCI will not intervene and what is the reputation when the news is already public, does not make any sense.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 20, 2021, 06:17:30 PM
I think Rohit Sharma is a much better captain think Virat Kohli. And well Kohli is the captain most of the time India won because of Kohli's individual performance not because of his brilliant captaincy. After all, India has to wait a long time to get a captain like Dhoni in my opinion. But Rohit Sharma can certainly do a better job than Kohli
Just the performance of Rohit Sharma as a captain in the IPL and the performance of Virat Kohli says a lot. Virat Kohli was not able to win the IPL even though they had some of the best players in the team. You cannot expect anyone to be as good as MSD as he was on a separate league of his own and you cannot expect anyone to replicate him as a player or as a captain.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 41% of people globally say they trust Bitcoin over local currencies on: November 20, 2021, 04:00:46 PM
Premise (a crowdsourced insights company) reported in a press release that 41% of respondents consider Bitcoin to be more reliable than their own local currencies.  Shocked

Principally due to the decentralized aspect of the blockchain tech. Wow! Are people realizing what decentralization is about and the garbage behind central banks and co? If that's the case, I'm quite surprised seeing all the low information voters.
I think the aspect that majority voted is the idea of making a huge profit from BTCitcoin in a short period of time unlike any other investment market. Does majority who are in the market really care about the technology behind it and if the same conduct the same survey during the bear market, do they have the same opinion. Just my thoughts on these surveys  Wink.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play-to-Earn games on ETH: What's the catch? on: November 19, 2021, 11:56:12 PM
Play to Earn games on Ethereum network can fail because the network requires too expensive transaction fee. Nowadays, projects can deployed and bridged to other blockchains in order to give users cheaper transaction fees.

Play to Earn, the name says it. Gamers can not spend $10 for a click when they play and even don't know they will win or lose after the click. Transaction fee on ETH network is painful for gamers.
Anything on the ETH network will fail miserably. There are NFT and P2E projects that are using the ETH network and for a while the users will be happy to spend high gas fees but there will be a end point when they end up loosing more money than they earn with those concepts, for example, some of the NFT that are available in the market, the gas fees is 10 times higher than the NFT itself and how a project will survive if they are not planning to move alternative coins.

Good P2E games will survive and it all depends upon which network the developers are choosing to built their game.

India own the PAYtmT20 series. NZ and India played their 2nd match and NZ scored 150 plus. Guptil was on fire and scored 31 out of 15 balls with 2 sixes and 3 fours. Mitchell as well scored 31. However, again today Aswin has really performed well taking 2 main wickets and yes Rahul and Rohit were awesome with their strikes each with their 50s. Rohit was back to back with his 5 Sixes and 1 four and Rahul with 6 fours and 2 sixes lead the team win the series. We have one more match to go and followed by few test matches
Ravichandran Ashwin was not part of the Indian team in the first two matches of the T20 World Cup and India lost those matches without any battle and from the third match Ravichandran Ashwin was part of the team and India did not loose the match after that in the World Cup nor in the matches against New Zealand  Cheesy.

Another dominating match by India and there is nothing much to say as they play like champions but did not perform when they were in the big tournament  Grin.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat banks and the government. on: November 19, 2021, 09:01:44 PM
Can the banks challenge the policies from the government? Are the banks working for the people or the government? is there any possibility that banks can operate freely entirely from government policies?
The central bank is controlled by the government and even if you have a central bank governor who is talking back to the government about their vision, he will be replaced in no time and they will appoint someone who could dance to the tune of the government. There are ways to overcome these restrictions but i am not sure about how equipped the legal system is to monitor every transaction, so i am not going to make a comment on that aspect.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High ETH withdraw Fees, how to Solve on: November 19, 2021, 07:52:15 PM
exchange must use a fix fee. and for ETH, the gas fee for withdrawal is very high. even yesterday I tried to send ETH up to $ 80 just for the gas fee. it seems that on average all exchanges are the same. The way I most often do is choose another coin that has a lower fee. and this affects all tokens that use the erc20 smart contract
Since you are still using ETH and planning to move the coins, you need to bombard the ETH developers about sorting the issues as the gas fees is high for a long time and i am still skeptical about how they are going to sort the issues regarding scaling. The funny aspect is that when they launched ETH they were too confident that it will not having scaling issues and it only took around 5 years to prove them wrong  Cheesy.

Bloody hell.... Sexting scandal, Paine is gone. Surprisingly it happened in 2017-18-ish but CA still handed him captaincy after Sand paper gate.
Tim Paine decided to take his career on his terms, i thought it would end up like Ashwin predicted but this is how he wanted to end his career. Who in the right sense will be doing these things in this day and age, silly of him.

In Asia subcontinent we have dew factor very serious for bowling second and pitches are also had no helpful for bowlers so here mostly toss factor works and after winning teams love to chase because they know this is good with more chances of winning match which already happen in all world cup.
For spinner the dew is a problem as the ball gets wet and it can be a problem to grip and it takes too much time to wipe the ball down and now a days the grounds are not that big like they used to be in the past and any miss hit would cross the boundary.

In world cup we have last 3 matches with good runs but every time chase able which were mostly predictable and here India lost it just because of too much cricket and tiredness which could be serious issue for them in future as well.
Too many matches and the IPL is the reason that India did not perform as a team in the first two matches and now India is taking that against New Zealand and if the World Cup was conducted in India then i think it would have been a different story.
1694  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price now on: November 18, 2021, 10:50:50 PM
I will say the market has no direction now and so far we have seen a new ATH even if this is the highest Bitcoin can go for the year it's still a good profit for patient holders. To you how would you manage the price of Bitcoin now will you still risk the market or patiently wait for a new break-out on either side of the trend?
It depends upon the position you want to take considering when you invested and how long you are planning to hold in the unfortunately situation that we see a major correction Wink . We had a great rally in the market and there are things that are going on in the world especially we are going through a pandemic and the inflation is a huge issue and commodity price are rising drastically which is not a great aspect either which means anything is possible and we will see how the market will react in the next few days.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: November 18, 2021, 07:40:43 PM
6 days left before the start of the championship battle between the reigning champions Magnus Carlsen and the winner of the Candidates Tournament Ian Nepomniachtchi.
It is great to see a thread related to chess. I like the game play of Magnus Carlsen and i have viewed some of his rapid chess matches and the only comment i can tell is that he makes careless moves especially in rapid chess. If he is focused and stress free he will win the championship.

Since we have a thread, who do you think is the greatest player of all time. For me it is always Garry Kasparov and Bobby Fischer. For people who really love chess, check out game plays of Mir Sultan Khan who was a legend but not that known to the outside world because he was active during late 1920 who won major championship in England during his short reign and his game plays are extraordinary.

On a side note, if we have more chess lovers, we can conduct an online chess tournament for bitcointalk users.

It will be the other way, I'm afraid. In all probability, Pakistan is going to whitewash Bangladesh. And the chances will be higher in case senior players like Shakib and Liton are not included in the playing XI. The morale is down in the Pakistan squad, but the same can be said about their opponents after their humiliating loss against Scotland. Now one thing that I don't want Pakistan to do is to underestimate their opponents. That will be a big mistake against a team that is playing under home conditions.
Pakistan played really well throughout the tournament and there is no point in having a low morale. They batted well and till the final few overs they were dominating the game. The story of Bangladesh is different, they need to build a team for the shorter format, in Test match they usually perform well in Asian tracks because they have some good spinners.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When TRON (TRX) will be pump on: November 14, 2021, 07:17:24 PM
it's just a matter of time waiting for that moment to happen, because according to the pivot point chart
a Breakout is possible in Tron in coming weeks and it can be seen in the current CMC data that TRON ROI has increased by 5507%, it is very possible that tron will be pumped to reach a new ATH. hopefully
I am using Tron because some of the gambling sites accept them and after Dogecoin started pumping i started wagging bets with Tron and i am not even following their project. The fact is that there is 71.6 billion coins in circulation, so you need to be logical about the expectations about how long it can go considering it already gave a return of 5507% Wink.
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 14, 2021, 05:33:02 PM
Australia won their first T20 World Cup, a team no one even gave a chance to reach the final let alone win the cup. The common theme is the team chasing won the matches and in both the semi final and in the final, every team chasing won the match chasing with one over to spare. Warner regained his form at the right moment and they played well to win their first World Cup and once again New Zealand is disappointed after reaching the final.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 14, 2021, 04:36:27 PM
I never invest in a new project because it is too risky in my opinion if we don't know how far the project will progress because it is just starting. To see whether a project is good or not, one of them is to see who the project is partnering with, because if the partner is strong, it can be categorized as a trustworthy project. but about CheckDot I have never heard of it, you should always be careful if you want to invest in a new project.
There was a time when i used to invest heavily in new projects and i made a hell lot of profit and once the scam projects started to turn i started to back out from investing any new projects and still even after checking the team, it is hard to understand why the price is not rallying in certain projects, so you need research and luck to be able to win the jackpot.

After a long gap, i started investing in new projects once again, i have my reservations and i am yet to book any astronomical profit yet while some of the crap projects rallied 1000000%.
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 14, 2021, 03:01:55 PM
~
The trick on credit cards is to use them wisely, not spending more than you can afford, always pay in time, otherwise you'll get a huge interest on your balance, while at the same time, you're building a credit score.

What's your take on this? Are you against credit card usage?
The trick is not over use the credit card and get stuck without repaying them. I know many that used to card during the pandemic and then got stuck because they are not getting their salary on time, but then there are options provided by the credit card company during that period, but then there are many that lost their job and how they are going to repay them if you have taken a huge credit. So be wise before using them and if you can do that, it is a great tool.
