"In the latest in a long line of problems plaguing El Salvador’s Bitcoin embrace, locals are reporting that their Bitcoin is vanishing from their accounts."

The legalization of cryptocurrency is very good, but when the well-known rule: "Not your keys - not your money" stops working, many absurd situations always begin to arise.
I am not sure how this will end as they are completely embracing BTCitcoin and investing heavily and i am expecting a riot if we see a major correction, it is a fine line when you start investing a nations wealth to a highly volatile asset and then ask people to follow the same pattern. It should be individual choices rather than enforcing someone.

I am not sure how coins keep vanishing from the wallet, they could easily identify the movement of coins as it is not a third party wallet they are using, but a wallet created by the government from what i understand.

Lies!  Masvidal called out ‘everybody’ but the minute Colby Covington and Leon Edwards start to get interested and had the contracts sent for signing, Masvidal ‘gets injured’ in training.  He’s all talk.  He wouldn’t say anything when Chimaev started going after him and the BMF belt.

Chimaev’s to be champ before 2022 ends is at 6.50.
One thing is certain every time Jorge Masvidal is injured his injuries are undisclosed, but he cannot pull out of fights without convincing the UFC doctors about the status of his injury. Now Jake Paul started calling him out, he is out of the injury list and lets see whether Dana White will allow him to fight Jake Paul.

When it comes to Khamzat Chimaev becoming the champion this year, if Dana White sees this odds he might fast track his title fight, as he said Khamzat Chimaev is 4 fights away from a title fight last time when media asked about his future plans of Khamzat Chimaev Grin.

Anyway Centurion is SA's Gabba. Their numbers are very dominating there. Win = 21 , Lost = 2
India won the toss and elected to bat and hopefully it is a good decision as the pitch gets faster in the second and third day. Ajinkya Rahane is in the team and hopefully he delivers, if not he should be replaced forever and his career is in the line. Three fast bowlers and a medium pacer with a spinner and it is a good bowling combination and why is Rohit Sharma not in the playing eleven, is he injured ? .

Aside from laughing about it, I wonder how big is this going to get in the future? Apparently the VR porn industry is growing pretty fast. What do you guys know about this?
There were some tokens for the porn industry earlier but i am not sure whether they are still live as there are many projects that die off eventually, but VR porn is a reality and for that you do not need yet another token, all they need is to accept BTCitcoin to purchase the content and if it is really good they will find customers and with 3D glasses becoming cheaper we will see more demand in the coming years.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest in a possible Bear market? on: December 25, 2021, 11:35:59 PM
I would stay away from the altcoin market until the market stabilizes at the bottom if i make a decision to invest again. I am happy with the current run and i made my profit even though i was not able to take full opportunity due to the untimely pandemic situation and hence looking forward for a major correction so that i can keep accumulating for the next rally  Wink.

The major alts after a shakedown in the valuation is always a great attraction, except for ETH considering the high fees and we still have no idea about how the developers will solve the issue.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: December 25, 2021, 11:09:24 PM

That's what I read as well, so if there's no KO in this fight, then the result would be a draw. Thing is, Logan Paul IIRC, he was not been KO in his boxing career, while Mike Tyson is very popular because he can KO a boxer back in the day, but this time, I'm not sure if he still got it.
With the way Mike Tyson is hitting the pads, he still have the knockout power and one opening is more than enough to land a knockout punch and Logan Paul is not known to be a technical master, nor he has fought anyone legit. Mike has seen it all and done it all and won the belt and he knows his move and he is not against a technical wizard and i am sure Logan Paul will expose himself to give Mike Tyson the opportunity to land the punch Cheesy.

Slowly but steadily cricket will move to leagues as well. I don't think there is future of bilateral series anymore as players and boards are more interested in money rich leagues. But in cricket leagues only IPL is big fish rest of leagues are not that big. So even if cricket moves to leagues we will still see supremacy of bcci.
Since we are having discussions about how BCCI is controlling cricket, it was not given that power in a golden platter. It was earned strategically the moment BCCI was not able to secure two tickets to watch the 1983 World Cup finals and even though there were many empty seats reserved for elites.

England was having complete power over cricket and India along with Pakistan started the movement to bring the World Cup out of England and with no money to conduct the World Cup in 1987 they took the help of Ambani and that too with the help of political involvement who sponsored the entire event in return of advertisement rights and hence it is called the Reliance Cup in 1987 and other negotiations and that is how changes started to happen in Cricket.

I am seeing these discussions about how BCCI control Cricket for a long time and hence thought of letting everyone know how these changes happened and it was not bestowed upon one fine morning. It was a huge political struggle and canvasing and the politicians including Indira Gandhi who roped in Ambani to sponsor the tournament.

Cricket leagues will have their positions but International cricket will have its value.
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: Coinmarketcap hacked ? seems i have more money than Elon on: December 25, 2021, 09:24:03 PM
They got hacked again? Didn’t they got hacked just a few months ago? If this is true then there is a serious problem with the security of CMC, after all we all know that hackers have all the time in the world and they can dedicate monts or even years to a single hack.
There was a hack and the database was stolen and that is what the hackers did earlier, right now what we saw was a system malfunction as far as i understand and they rebooted their servers back and it is back to normal. The major problem that happened was that majority of the exchanges take the coinmarketcap feed and it created a huge mess and i wonder anyone sold at a loss in DEX.

PS : Meh doesn't matter, we are going to lose anyway lol  Grin
I am having hopes of India winning a match and if they are able to win the series it will be history as South Africa is hard to beat in their home soil and India coming with victory over Australia and England and if they continue the same pattern it would be great. The best part is that India has world class bowlers which they lacked when they used to tour earlier and if the batsman clicks then it will be an interesting series.
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satisfied what you gained with altcoins in 2021? on: December 25, 2021, 03:14:42 PM
Overall it was a great year which is obvious during a bull run and the biggest surprise for me is the bull run in Dogecoin which was really unexpected which i used to add to my wallet to gamble and i had a fairly large amount of coins at my disposal and i never had any clue that Elon Musk will come out of the bloom and starts shilling, so it was really unexpected and it was a really huge gain because i had a few million Dogecoins Cheesy.
1591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk once again throwing shade at bitcoin on: December 24, 2021, 09:13:27 PM
I think he is going to do another Doge pump, like he did with Shiba ..to give some people a nice Christmas gift. He did not disappoint the last time he did this and a lot of people made a lot of profit.
May be is giving a Christmas and New Year pump for anyone following his twitter page and jump into anything he says  Cheesy. I think he recently said he will be accepting Doge to purchase Tesla but that did not make any change in the market but right now the market is seeing some momentum and he is sneaky with his shilling .

He said he pumped Doge as a joke the last time he did that, but I think he tested the waters to see if people will follow his "triggers" and if it will shift the market for Doge.  Wink
Elon is not new in pumping the market, he was doing that in the stock market where anything he says usually rallies, so he knew he had an army of investors who would jump into anything he says.

I don't know about Logan Paul, but they say Mike Tyson is still using drugs. But it seems to me that as it did not interfere him in the past and will not affect the fight with Logan Paul.
I do not think he is using drugs, it was a known fact that he was addicted to cocaine but right now he is clean but he does smoke marijuana on a daily basis and you cannot term it as a drug as it has healing affects and it is legal in the US in most states.

I'm also more inclined to think that we won't see any furious boxing, most likely it will be a show where the winner will be decided by decision of judges and in all likelihood it will be Mike Tyson.
From what i understand, the winner can be decided only if the opponent is knocked out and there is no winner if the fight goes to the decision.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: December 23, 2021, 09:18:05 PM
Currently I work in an office with a monthly salary of around $450, I come in from Monday to Saturday so I spend a lot of time in the office, when I have free time I always follow the development of cryptocurrencies so I will invest, every month I invest around $75 to buy coins like BNB, Cardano, MATIC and new listed coins and the main goal is for me to make big profits.
Anyone investing in the altcoin market is expecting a huge return in a short period of time and you need to be careful when you are investing in alts as you cannot expect them to move up all the time and most of the times some of the alt rallies does not make any sense either, so luck is a major factor and who knows someone like Elon Musk would shill Doge and that take them to new valuations that no one expected.

I think they have dropped Ajaz Patel because they are confident that they will easily win this series with Bangladesh without him or they might try someone else this time. In my opinion, they should have given this guy another opportunity this would have helped him to gain more experience and make some more improvement.
For this sole reason they should have retained Ajaz Patel as the lone spinner if they are confident that they would win the match easily against Bangladesh. The reason is they might be going with an all out pace attack and Bangladesh batsman are not known to play pace and swing at good speeds very well and they might be planning to finish the matches faster  Wink Cheesy.

The reality is, nowadays, boxers do not anymore care more about their pride, they fight when there's a lot of money involved. You see, Mayweather retire early only to get into exhibition fights and still makes millions of dollars, if he could stay in the professional, he could have given the challenger a better opportunity to show their skills against him.
After they are fighting to earn money as they do not know any other profession to make money and if they get the opportunity to make them, so be it. As long as there is an audience willing to pay money to watch them fight, they will continue that route.

Thing is, professional boxing are affected with this exhibition fights as fans are also willing to spend mony just to see it, where's the essence of the real competition then?
The exhibition fights are no way affecting any of the combat sports, good boxing events are making huge money as long as they can attract an audience and MMA is making huge numbers as well. There is an audience as long as it is entertaining and how the promoters are able to promote the fight.
1596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are new generation of investors more into gambling? on: December 22, 2021, 08:58:58 PM
I have come across a different breed of investors who are scouting for potential new projects, negotiate a good deal for the seed investment and then if there is a delay in the progress then they would attack the team and would ask to release their tokens even though there is a vesting period for the tokens for these seed investors and i have seen projects sinking because the team released the vested tokens due to the pressure and those seed investors making a fortune.

As of today CA is sending its team to Pakistan, cant say about tomorrow. I remember Najam Sethi (ex PCB Boss) saying playing at UAE is total in loss. There is no financial profit for PCB in playing at UAE. Thats major reason why PCB earnings are equal to Bangladesh cricket board. I dont think under current PCB management, Pakistan will play at UAE.
Lets see how things will develop over the month and how many players will be pulling out citing injury  Cheesy. Pakistan wont be earning much of the ticket revenue if the match is played outside Pakistan soil and all the ticket revenue will go to the UAE Cricket board, but they still have the broadcasting revenue. I am not exactly sure how much they are earning selling the broadcasting rights but BCCI is always ahead in this aspect and that is how they are earning the majority of the revenue.

Pakistan players were seen in early editions of IPL. I remember Shoaib Akhtar and Wasim Akram were there but things change for Pakistan after second or third addition of IPL, if I am not wrong. In sub continent politics control every aspect of the country.  As long as Pakistani players are not missed in IPL, franchise owners won't include them.
Yes Pakistan players were included during the initial IPL tournament but the cricket ties were broken after the Mumbai terrorist attack and after that there was no cricket relation between two cricket boards. With the current right wing government you cannot expect that to change anytime soon.

Even i do not like mixing politics and sports together, but the fans follow the sport of cricket as a religion and it is hard to see any changes in the near future but there are other sports where India and Pakistan compete.

At the end of the day it depends, there are fighters that care a lot about their legacy and they will never risk it just for some additional dollars in their bank accounts.
Every fighter gets into the sport as a profession to earn money and there are a selected few of fighters who will have the financial stability to last forever, the rest will find a way to make money or find another source of income and the scope of earning is limited for any athelte, so basically there is no point in complaining they do not look for legacy and want to do anything for money.

1600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 19, 2021, 07:35:26 PM
Its just a December offer you will get 20% discount on $60K so its actually 50K at the moment actually this is inspired from someone's Avatar. Smiley

Bitcoin may rise or fall which can't be predicted by anyone to be honest, next question please.
Yes, we can say that, whenever there is a correction there is opportunity to invest at a lower valuation  Cheesy. As an investor majority wants to enter a lower valuation and not when the market is rallying at an all time high, i am sure majority are waiting  for the market to go through a correction before entering. Personally i am also not confident to invest now as the market can go in either direction,
